Yes, I am FINALLY back! Did ya miss me?

*cue silence and tumbleweed*

Oh well, that was the response I was expecting. Anyways, new story! Here we go!

Sally Jackson-Blofis walked into her house with her husband, Paul. They were laughing about something or another-she couldn't remember exactly what. They took their winter gear off and walked towards the kitchen.

"I'll put away the groceries." he said. "You can go check on Percy and Annabeth."

"Are you sure?" Sally asked. "I wouldn't want you-"

"Go!" Paul laughed. Sally smiled, pecked Paul on the cheek, then set off down the hall to Percy's room, where she knew the two would be. It was the winter break of their senior year, and the two were practically inseparable. They already were during the school year, but were even more so during the break.

Sally followed the sound of laughter to Percy's room, where she peered inside through the half-open door.

Inside, Percy and Annabeth were sitting together on the bed, a bag of chips between them. A glass of water was sitting on the bedside table, and Percy was making the water rise in shapes-an owl, a lightning bolt, a trident, a few others. Annabeth was laughing as he made a miniature P and A with the water inside the outline of a heart.

Neither of them noticed Sally, and she backed away quietly, smiling. It had been a long road to recovery after the war, and it had been hard for them to find peace. Seeing the two laugh and smile together filled her with hope. It reminded her how strong they were.

That's it! I'd say I'll have a new story out soon, but you know me...no guarantees, sorry everyone. If I give you Sally Jackson's famous blue cookies, will you forgive me? Here they are: (::) (::)

Please review! I read every one of them, I promise.

See y'all next time!
