disclamation: I do not own even one of the 'Digimon' animes in any way, shape, or form. I have forgotten exactly for whom the ownership rights of the shows are reserved, but I can say for sure that I am certainly not amongst them. I'm but a humble fanfiction blogger who writes on this and other fanfiction websites, such as WattPad. look me up with the username Kim Willbee.

Back with Sakura and her daughters, Leilani has been discussing with Jun and their mother about her encounter with the prince after his aborted royal wedding to a reluctant princess for about an hour or longer.

Leilani Motomiya: How was I supposed to know that he'd come flying out the side door? He was supposed to be getting married.

Sakura and her daughter, Jun, are not sold on what Leilani has been telling the both of them for the past hour or so.

Jun Motomiya: I heard that the prince talked to you, Leilani. What did he say?

Leilani knows her place in the prince's plan of reuniting with her stepsister, Sora. She also knows that she would be the one to face whichever punishment would be meant for Sora since Sakura has sold Poor Sora to the awful Lord Piedmon. So, Leilani does the smart thing in the situation and just plays the ditz while only telling her family what they want to hear.

Leilani Motomiya: Well, I can't be one-hundred percent certain. It all happened so fast, but I believe that what he said was that it served his majesty right for choosing a foreigner over my_ sister.

Naturally in hearing what they want to hear from Leilani, Sakura and Jun are overcome with joy in both of their smiles.

Sakura Motomiya: Well, very good, Leilani. Well, perhaps we should just let the prince whine about it for a few days.

Then, their doorbell rings loudly, and all three of them rise up and rush to the door.

Sakura Motomiya and her daughters: I'll get it!

Naturally having the closest spot at the table to the door, Jun is the first one of the family to arrive at the door in time to answer it. Much to hers and her mother, Sakura's, collective surprise, Lieutenant Jim Kido and his younger brother, Joe, the castle physician's apprentice, are both at their front doorstep.

Lieutenant Shuu 'Jim' Kido: His supreme majesty, King Hiroaki, requests an audience with Madame Sakura Motomiya and her daughters immediately.

Of course, Sakura and Jun are nothing short of pleased with King Hiroaki requesting an audience with them, but they are also a bit suspicious as to why the Lieutenant Jim and his brother, Joe, the castle physician's apprentice have arrived to tell them the news instead of Grand Duke Myotismon.

Sakura Motomiya: Well, is anything wrong?

Lieutenant Shuu 'Jim' Kido: No, m'lady.

Joe Kido: As a matter of fact, the king had even demanded that you all arrive in style.

The two brothers both share a grin on their faces towards the whole Motomiya Family. Sakura and Jun just smile at the invitation which has been sent to them on behalf of the soon-to-be late King Hiroaki. Sakura hums as she smiles at the invitation.

Sakura Motomiya: In style we shall be.

Jun squealed in delight at the life she thought she was about to receive. She and her mother, Sakura, both rushed away from their front door to get ready for their trip to the castle just in time for Joe and his elder brother, Jim, to share a frown and send it in Jun and Sakura's direction. Meanwhile, Leilani responds to what Joe had said while telling her mother and sister what the both of them had only wanted to hear with a smile of intrigue, which Joe returns back to Leilani. Leilani's smile at Joe is also that of a girl who senses that she is finally about to get even with an abusive beyond all reasoning family that is still her own.
