On a simple starry night in the city of Wardington, People are mostly heading home for the day, others are taking up night shifts at their jobs. However, this once simple night will soon turn into an extraordinary event, that almost no one could explain. This is also true for a young teen as he looks up at the sky, taking in the starry night. The next second, he was looking up at the sky, seeing green glowing cards fall from the sky. He is in awe and wonders about what is occurring before him. The twelve-year-old boy is wearing a short red overcoat with black pockets over a bright yellow sleeveless shirt. He wears long red trousers with black stripes just below his knees, the ends of which are neatly tucked into his blue-tongued black sneakers.

As the cards fall, his brown hair waves in the sudden wind, despite his hexagonal-shaped goggles covering some parts of it. He then puts out his glove-covered hands to catch one of the cards. As he holds it in his hands, he's intrigued by the details. One side has a bunch of strange-looking circles almost as if it's depicting the innards of a lock. The side that he views have six symbols in a circle surrounded by another circle that has unknown and ancient text around the edge. In the center of the card is a hexagon linking with the six symbols. In other places, other kids that are similar in age to the young boy are seeing this event play out as well. This whole world was experiencing this amazing but bizarre phenomenon. This was because the cards landed in every place that you can think of. Some cards appeared in places from snowy and cold northern areas. While others landed in hot and mostly sunny places in the south. No matter where that person lived, the strange occurrence would still be there. The cards would be mostly be found and used by kids to young teens. At some time, certain kids and young adults soon discovered the true purpose of the cards. Because of this, they invented a game with cards and special creatures. This created game would be known by all, both young and old, as Bakugan. During the game, each card brought a ball that came to life as a beast that ranged from a bipedal falcon to a gigantic scorpion-like monster. The Bakugan can also be one of 6 elements that give them power and distinct powers. These elements are also featured on the same cards that first fell from the sky. The attributes consist of fire(Pyrus), earth(Sub-Terra), light(Haos), darkness(Darkus), water(Aquos), and wind(Ventus). These battles were unlike anything people ever experienced and they required both skill and strategy. If these brawlers, would play their cards right and at the right time, they would win the battles. It takes a lot of strategies and luck to win these battles.

However, unbeknownst to most of the world, a hidden and sinister threat was going on. In due time, a small group of young tweens and adults learned through their new Bakugan, a hidden truth. The hidden threat was that a bigger battle was taking place. The battleground is the Bakugan's homeworld, a parallel universe that was known as Vestroia. Vestroia's world is in utter chaos as each world was disappearing. The cause was a power-hungry Bakugan and he has recruited evil in the human world to help his chaotic causes. In the core of the world, six spirits are watching their respective worlds being destroyed by the second. "This is catastrophic, not only is our world being destroyed but there's another evil at work," a red glow was calling out to the other glows. The green glow then speaks in a female voice and shows them a mysterious ball in a patch of smoke, "Perhaps, we need some people from another world to take this head-on." "I've only heard of that shape in legends," the yellow glow says in her female voice, acknowledging the strange shape, "Are you speaking of people from a world filled with creatures known as Pokémon, Oberus?" The green glow moves up and down as if to agree. "I too also know about specific people for the job," a blue glow says, calling out to the others in approval. "Well, let's head to their world before it's too late," a purple glow calling out before all of them suddenly screams in pain. While three leave the area because of the sudden attack, three head through a portal to meet up with these people. In the core of the world, a dragon-like creature has bestowed a hag-like man a black and silver orb. As the man looks at the new summoned orb, it crackles with as much negative energy as he was. "At last, the Silent Orb is complete," the man says with a pin evil smile, "With this dark and amazing energy, all of Bakugan and people who oppose me, will bow to me!"

Now, both worlds need help from the human world and the Bakugan world. Not only that, but the warriors of Vestroia have requested help from another world to help the teens formed with the same goal. As for the young man who first saw the cards fall, he is a 12-year-old Pyrus User, Dan Kuso. As of this moment, he's not only ready to help save both worlds, he's got some friends to help him. Now, with his friends, Haos User Runo, Aquos User Marucho, Subterra User Julie, Ventus User Shun, and one of the Advisors, Alice, they would form a team that has one goal: to save both their world and the Bakugan world. They would be heroes, that together would be known to one and all, as the Bakugan Battle Brawlers!

Meanwhile, in another world, in a place called Pallet Town, a sprawling grassy field waves in the calm breezes. The field is near a nearby building, with a huge windmill attached to the top of one of its joining structures. Nearby the building and on the grassy field, are some unusual-looking creatures. While some have features relating to bugs, others have features relating to sea creatures. The creatures all inhabit the world, from mountains to seas, to reaches of the sky. These mysterious beings are known throughout the world as Pokémon.

All through the world, some people as young as ten years old can go on a journey as Trainer. They can catch Pokémon and use them to take part in battles against other trainers. Throughout their journey, the trainers not only can battle to become a champion, but they take care of their Pokémon as well.

Even though a trainer is called a "trainer", there are other ways to explore the existence of Pokémon. One of those other paths someone can take is Pokémon Research. They research all the hidden mysterious info about Pokemon and try to make sense of it. That brings us to the subject of the building.

Inside the building, an older man is going about a room doing his research. "Hmm... this is strange, I've never seen events like this before," before putting some books away on a nearby bookshelf. The bookcase is filled to the brim with research from other professors and researchers. It is also near big and heavy machines and some of the devices have red and white-colored balls on them. As the researcher types information at a computer, documenting his findings, a voice comes from the nearby staircase.

"Professor Oak, it's me, Tracey! I have some startling news, can I speak with you?" Oak, in his white lab coat, brown boots, and red undershirt, gets out of his chair and heads down the stairs quickly to meet the young man. Tracey wears a short-sleeved green shirt, with an orange backpack on his back. His dark red shorts, and tennis shoes, are covered in dirt and a little mud. Not only that but parts of his olive-green hair are messed up. Oak has a concerned look on his face as he looks at his assistant. "Tracey, my boy, what seems to be the problem? Did you run away from an angry Pokémon?" "No, Professor," Tracey said as he brushes off the dirt on his shorts, "I found an interesting item, I'm not sure what this is, but I discovered it at a cave on Route 1. I ran over as soon as I could." Oak, with a curious look on his face, then says to his young assistant, "Let's go upstairs and take a look at this finding that you've found."

They don't realize it yet, but soon, they'll alert a certain young trainer, and tell him about this item, as well as a certain destiny that awaits him...
