Phyrne smiled as she reclined in bed next to Jack. His fingers traced a steady path on her bare back and shoulders, but she could tell he was lost in thought. Jack sighed and hung his head for a moment before meeting Phyne's eyes.

"What's the matter, Jack?" Phyne asked softly, sitting up to better meet his gaze.

"Will you run away from me if I tell you that I think I love you?" Jack replied

"No. Will you run away if I don't say it back to you?"

"Never. I think I love you miss Fisher, crazy antics and dangerous stunts in all"

Phyne smiled grandly before pulling Jack down on the bed with her and sighed as he settled his weight on top of her.

"Now, darling." Phyne said softly, "If you don't have any more heavy confessions, the other members of the household will be back in a couple of hours, and I was wondering if you had any ideas on how we might spend the time."

"As a matter of fact, Miss Fisher," Jack replied, "I do"
