A.N.: The title is more of a peace of mind in putting a proper update out there. Especially since I originally wrote this all the way back in October and was mostly done with it except I kept wanting to add more, little by little.

And of course my life has since changed quite a bit since when I originally wrote it, I've got a learner's permit at the very least but hardly any time to practice and no already licensed friends willing to help teach me otherwise, and my job has me as now head supervisor of the Kitchen of our Assisted Living Facility, in a little over two years I went from a simple dishwasher to the head, mostly from circumstance. Its tough right now, because I'm short a few people so I don't have any days off at the moment.

I do fully intend to someday finish Hearts and Souls Are the Same Thing Down Here, but that might be a few years off yet, simply because whenever I do get the chance to write, I have to follow my heart, and its in other fandoms at the moment.

So I leave you all with this until then, thank you all so much for your patience. Oh and now for a Super Smash Bros. Plug in: Wanna join a really good Discord server for writers in the Smash community, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Join us! The people are super nice. gDK48ua is the invite.

Sora was still taking it all in as he wandered the Smash Mansion grounds. A whole world full of other worlds, bigger than Traverse Town, and their worlds, while all respectively in danger at one point or another or even currently were just put on pause until the tournament was over.

He wasn't even looking where he was going when he suddenly found himself bumping into…SANS?!

Sora couldn't help the knee jerk reaction of instinct taking over to make him jump defensively away. Unfortunately that triggered a fight, whether he even wanted it to happen or not.

'Sans' charged up a shot right away and since Sora was still stunned stupid at not only at being thrust into a fight so suddenly but also at the weapon on 'Sans'' gunning arm. It was exactly like that Heartless in Snowdin, the one that Frisk said was probably also Papyrus' secret special attack but fit more in line with Sans…especially in the other when of the worse timeline.

'Sans' fired the shot and Sora didn't resist, since he didn't even want to fight so soon. He fell off the stage and lost the fight.

After the victory fanfare faded and Sora was allowed to stop clapping, 'Sans' turned to him and held out a hand for a handshake. Sora took it with a smile…a sad smile as there was some confusion on his end about his adventure in the Underground as… he didn't remember finishing that adventure. It was certainly longer than any of the other worlds he visited in searching for the power of waking.

Suddenly 'Sans' reached up and…the head came off…There, Sora was suddenly face to face with a girl. And the Sans head was suddenly more obvious as a costume part, as was the rest of the body. The girl had short, wavy brown hair, blue eyes and red glasses. She gave a sympathetic smile at Sora.

"Sorry I'm not him," She said simply. "I'm Chlstarr, it's pronounced chill star, and I'm so happy you were chosen to be in the tournament."

"Oh, it's nice to meet you! I'm Sora, and I am glad to be here, but…why is- how-?" Sora was gesturing to the Sans costume, completely flabbergasted.

"It's a costume, it even comes with his battle music from that other when you saw in that nightmare. Oh, right…I'm a writer, and I'm the one who wrote and am still writing out your adventure in the Underground." Chlstarr explained, smiling a bit sadly now. If only because of regret in not being able to update that particular story in four years (at the time of Sora's arrival to the tournament).

"Wha? So if you're still writing it, then that means I really didn't finish that adventure yet?" Sora asked despite not really comprehending the weight of what she was saying or regarding if any of it made any lick of sense to him. It felt like something else was pressing him on to ask regardless.

"Correct. Your last memory of it should be that nightmare of Undyne's fight in the other when. The main reason I haven't finished relates to all the other things I have planned to put in the rest of the story, lots of research and analysis into certain characters mostly. But other reasons involve my personal life, such as work being draining on me physically and emotionally, I only have two days off and I usually just want to recharge with them and writing usually feels like more work. And I don't want to learn how to drive because I'm a greedy beyotch wanting to cheat the system a little but I realize I can't do that much longer, so my motivation hasn't been up to snuff in…oh wow it really has been four years hasn't it?" She explained somberly. She looked tired, the job may be easy enough but it's still draining.

"Deltarune's only up to two chapters now and it'll be interesting if I can fit you in there when its complete or not and keep your Undertale memories to suffer along with all of us…but I don't think I can with how the genocide routes are working out…" She couldn't help but mutter to herself, Sora didn't catch it but we readers certainly did…didn't we?

Sora didn't know how to respond, something else did however and answered in his voice…

"Good luck and do your best! Everything is worth the wait!"

Her smile didn't quite reach her eyes because of how tired she was with her life but was extremely grateful for the kind words regardless, even if it was only one person's opinion.

She thanked Sora and turned to the camera to thank you, dear reader for your patience with little old me.
