This is my take on what would have happened if Ty were there for Amy's pregnancy and all the events that happened.

"I still can't believe you're pregnant," Ty whispered as we pulled Amy into his arms and kissed her forehead. He couldn't wrap his mind around the fact that they were going to be parents.

Amy cuddled closer to him as she sighed. "I'm so nervous Ty."

"What are you nervous about?" He questioned.

Amy looked down and pushed her head against his chest. "What if I'm not a good mom?"

"Why would you think that?"

"My moms not here to help me." She teared up. "Its stuff like this that makes me miss her so much. I have no idea how to be a mom."

Ty held her close as the tears began to fall. He felt for her. He did. He was feeling the same way after growing up without his dad.

"You know, I'm scared too Amy," He breathed in her scent. "Its not like I had a great father figure growing up. But Amy, I know we can do this. Especially together. And with the family. I know it's not the same but you know Lou and Lisa would be happy to help and give advice."

Amy stayed quiet. She couldn't quite figure out her emotions. And Ty was beginning to think this was just the beginning of pregnancy hormones.

After a week of keeping it to themselves and a doctor appointment to confirm her pregnancy, Amy and Ty were ready to tell the family. As they washed up for dinner it hit her.

Ty noticed her skin go pale and the queasy look on her face. Before he could say anything she ran to the bathroom.

She made it to the toilet before she threw up. Ty sat behind her holding her hair and rubbing her back. Her first bout of morning sickness.

He tied her hair up in a messy ponytail as she sat back against him.

"Are you ok?" He questioned lightly.

"No," Amy whispered. "I feel horrible."

Just as Ty was about to ask if there was anything he could do, she sat up and began throwing up again. She moaned as the last of the contents of her stomach emptied.

"Ty," she groaned as she sat back against him again. He just held her and rubbed her shoulder. He felt awful.

"It's okay Amy. Just breathe."

She laid back against him. "Okay I think I'm done. I think I'm good."

Ty stood and helped Amy up. She swayed a little but got her balance. "Thank you," she said as she looked at Ty.

"Don't thank me. I'm here no matter what. Especially when you're not feeling well. Can I do anything?"

"No I think I'm okay. I feel much better now. Im actually kinda hungry."

"Well lets head over for dinner," he tried to smile but he still felt so bad she was sick.

Ty looked at Amy for approval before he started talking. She nodded her head and he proceeded. "Amy and I have some news we want to share." He smiled at her.

"I'm pregnant!" She yelled out before he could finish. They looked at each other and grinned.

"Sorry," she giggled, "I just couldn't wait."

The whole family gasped and cheered and everyone yelled their congratulations.

"So this is why y'all have been acting weird and doing dinner in the loft?" Lous questioned.

"Yes it is. And we've been dying to tell y'all but we wanted confirmation from our doctor and an ultrasound picture to show before we told y'all," Ty explained as he pulled the picture from his pocket.

They all passed around the picture and asked questions.

"How many weeks are you?" Lisa asked.

"8 weeks tomorrow." Amy grinned.

"How are you feeling honey?" Tim was next with the questions.

"Tired. I had my first run in with morning sickness today, and it's no joke."

"Im so happy for y'all," Jack stood up and hugged them both.

As everybody hugged her and congratulated her she knew she would be just fine. She had plenty of people in her corner.
