A/N: Welcome to Chapter 6!
First off, I know, I said monthly uploads, but I've been sitting on this chapter for a while, I've had a lot of time to write recently, even with work and school, and I just couldn't wait for April to send it to all of you! Now, since I'm releasing this one early, I WILL be sending out chapter 7 in April instead of May! so get excited! That being said I did get promoted at work, meaning I'm going full time instead of my part-time position I hold right now, so I'll have less time to write. This means that while I will release chapter 7 in April, I won't release at the beginning, since it is only a week or so away. Anyways, we get an introduction to some new players, obvious and not. Hope you all enjoy!
Special thanks to Goldzar for being an absolute unit of a beta, you're the best!
Chapter 6
August 9th, 1995
Harry awoke the next morning feeling refreshed and sat up. The last thing he remembered was Tonks talking about Hogwarts and some of the professors she had that Harry would more likely than not have himself. He could smell bacon frying somewhere in the house, so he got up, found his trunk, and changed into one of his few sets of clothes he brought, a flannel shirt and jeans. Rolling up the sleeves Harry went into the nearby bathroom, took care of his morning business, and headed to the kitchen. He spotted a woman with dark brown hair at the small stove, and the two men he came with sitting at a table. Sirius must've heard him because he looked up from a newspaper with 'Daily Prophet' on the front, and smiled at the teen. "Good Morning Harry! Come join us, Andi is almost done with breakfast."
The woman, now identified as Andromeda 'Andi' Tonks, turned and greeted Harry warmly, "Hello Harry, glad to see you after all this time! Nymphadora said that you were lacking in appreciation of British cuisine, so I made you a full English to welcome you back home to your birthplace!"
Harry looked over at Sirius as if to say 'She knows?'
Sirius, knowing that that's what Harry was thinking replied instantly, "Yes Harry, she knows, Andi after all helped me leave England all those years ago, she got in touch with Harrison the First back in 1981." Harry felt relief flood him, he relaxed and sat down. Andi put a plate in front of him. On it consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, beans, tomatoes, and what looked like mushrooms. Harry was curious, and so he dug in with gusto. He enjoyed it a lot more than he thought he would and judging by the expressions of the two Brits in the room, they thought it was funny. After Harry had eaten his fill, the four of them convened in the den, or as Padfoot liked to refer to it, the Dog Den, making everyone roll their eyes. When they entered, the floo activated and spat out a young woman, who stumbled out and knocked Thomas, who was the closest, over. The two fell to the ground, Tonks straddling Thomas, who was on his back. They lay there, face to face, when Thomas spoke, "This isn't how I imagined the cute British women falling for my American charm." the metamorph leapt up, cheeks and hair bright red. The others in the room were laughing, while she whipped her wand out and shot a stinging hex at Thomas. He yelped and fled the room. The three others were now howling with laughter. Tonks muttered something that to Harry sounded like 'Bloody Yanks'.
When everyone had settled down, and Thomas snuck back in, Sirius began talking business, "So, now that we've arrived and I've been officially pardoned we need to discuss our next steps." He gestured to Tonks and Thomas, "While you two haven't gotten along, you'll need to be, since you're our eyes in the Aurors, we need to get Amelia on our side, and to work with us." He pointed to himself, "I'll be heading our role in the Wizengamot, trying to stop the Dark families from pushing their agenda without resistance. I'll be also working with Dumbledore and the Order. Andi, you're our point in Saint Mungo's, letting us know if anything happens there, notable people being admitted, donations, etcetera."
They all nodded. Harry feeling left out, spoke up, "What about me?"
Sirius grinned and patted Harry on the shoulder, "You're our eyes in Hogwarts, evaluate potential allies, people who won't serve Voldemort, but also don't want to follow Dumbledore, focus on Neutral families, and traditionalist light families, such as the Bones. So, try and strike a friendship with Susan Bones, Amelia's niece, that'll give us a better connection to Amelia too." Harry nodded. Sirius looked him in the eyes, completely serious now, "Do try and be a kid too Harry, enjoy the new school, snog some cute girls, and make some friends. You didn't do that at Ilvermorny, and I want you to expand."
Sirius then clapped his hands, "Now then, let us go get clothes and the materials we'll need. Harry, I mailed Albus earlier, you'll be taking your exams tomorrow, so we won't be doing much today. Go get your cloak I got you, we're heading to Diagon Alley."
A few minutes later, Harry, Sirius, Thomas, Andi, and Tonks all emerged in the Leaky Cauldron, a dingy looking pub, that according to Sirius, held the entrance to the British Wizarding shopping district. They headed out the back of the pub, and into a small entryway. Sirius looked at the two Americans "Normally, we'd apparate in, but I wanted to give you the welcome everyone gets when going to Diagon for the first time." Harry's eyes followed Sirius, as he pulled out his wand, and tapped a specific pattern on the bricks. They then started to move, forming a doorway, Harry followed the others through, and he echoed the gasp that came from Thomas' mouth. They had walked into a very busy street, it reminded Harry of the Salem Historical District. The buildings lined the street, with vendors spread out along them. The sounds and colors were almost overwhelming, but Harry made sure to keep up with his companions. They made their way down, passing a variety of shops, Harry spotted an apothecary, a bookstore, and even an Ice Cream shop called Fortescue's. Passing the shop, he spotted a couple of girls that looked about his age, a blonde and brunette. They were dressed more conservatively than Harry was used to, but they were both quite attractive. The brunette spotted him and gave a flirty wave, which Harry replied with. She blushed and the blonde looked over to see what her friend was reacting to. Harry was pierced by the ice-blue color, and her eyebrows rose. Harry nodded and kept walking, turning away from the girls. The Blacks continued down the alley and stopped at a large white building with 'Gringotts' on the front. They walked up the steps and Harry nodded politely to the two goblins guarding the entrance. The only indication of surprise was their eyes widening slightly, but they nodded in return.
Sirius paused and turned around, "Now, Harry and I need to attend to some business, if you three wish to spend some time in the alley, feel free. Thomas, you have some money, so I'd recommend getting your Auror robes fitted and get some clothes too. Harry and I will join you later." Nodding, Thomas and the Tonks' left, heading back into the alley. Sirius turned to Harry and gestured towards the doors, "Right, let's get this over with."
Walking into the bank, Harry watched as goblins moved around the lobby, with wizards and witches intermingled with them. Most were lined up at the various teller desks lining the walls. Sirius led Harry over to an empty line labeled 'Family Accounts'. They approached the desk, and the goblin looked up from his ledger: "Can I help you Wizard?"
Sirius bowed slightly and replied, "Yes Master teller, I would like to meet with the Black Account Manager at his earliest convenience."
The goblin wrote a note, and gestured to Sirius's hand, "Ring?" Sirius displayed his lordship ring he'd received before returning to England. The goblin waved his hand over Sirius's and nodded. "Master Borgrod will meet you shortly in meeting room seven, may your visit be profitable." Sirius bowed again, thanked the goblin, and gestured Harry to follow him. The two moved deeper into the bank, and stopped outside of a room with a seven on the door. The door behind them opened and a pair of wizards with white-blonde hair stepped out, and the older froze when he spotted Sirius. Following the wizards was a goblin, that immediately smiled, which if Harry was honest, scared him.
"Ah, Lord Black, so good to see you at last, Lord Malfoy here was just telling me that you were unable to meet, due to your absence from British shores. Thus, making you ineligible for your lordship."
Sirius smirked and turned to the man who'd froze, "Is that so? Well, well, Lucius, what do you have to say? I wouldn't imagine Cousin Narcissa would be happy with you."
The pale man sneered, "Of course not Black, I don't believe a wanted criminal should be a lord in our country, and with Draco being the next male heir, it was only logical to keep a well-respected family alive." Sirius scoffed,
"Please I'd rather the family die out than have your son be the next Lord Black. That's why I'm here, my adopted son from America, Harrison, will be the next Lord Black after me."
The younger Malfoy sneered at Harry, "Is he even a Black if he comes from that disgusting place?"
Harry felt anger shoot through him, but a hand from Sirius held him back, "Now, now Lucius, keep your spawn's mouth shut if he won't be polite to my heir."
The Malfoy lord took his cane and tapped his son's shoulder, "Come Draco, we have no business here anymore."
The two Malfoys swept from the hallway, heading back to the lobby. Sighing, Sirius looked at Harry, "Those lovely gentlemen were Lucius and his heir Draco Malfoy, a prominent pureblood family from France, but settled here after the invasion from Normandy in the 11th Century. Lucius Malfoy was suspected to be a Death Eater, but claimed he was under the Imperius, and was exonerated." He then grinned, "However, I know that's not true because I fought him multiple times, and he was definitely under his own free will." He then got serious "Do NOT make those claims around, the Malfoys hold a lot of influence right now, due to their relationship with the Minister. Exercise caution when dealing with them, but they aren't our friends." Nodding, Harry agreed. He hoped it wouldn't be too difficult to remain aloof. The goblin who'd greeted them earlier then opened the door to the conference room, "Whenever you're ready Lord Black, we have business to conduct."
Sirius straightened his robes and nodded, "Thank you Borgrod, let us do so." The three entered to room and settled down. The goblin snapped his fingers and a tea set appeared. Borgrod and Sirius made themselves a cup, but Harry, liking coffee more, declined and just observed Sirius and his manager as they went over the family accounts. They worked through investments, properties, business offers, and even some old marriage proposals.
"Harry?" Harry looked over, "yeah Sirius?"
The man rolled his eyes, "I said, ready to claim the heirship? We've settled everything else, and that's our last step." Harry agreed, and Sirius handed over a case opening it as he did. Sitting inside was a ring laid in silver, with an onyx gemstone set in the middle. Inlaid within the gem was the Black Family sigil, a Raven.
"This signifies that you, Harrison Regulus Black are my sole heir, and if I were to pass, you are to uphold the values we treasure, 'Toujours Pur d'ame' or Always Pure of Soul." He hugged Harry, "This is a new chapter for us, and your mother and father would be so proud of you." The two stood there for a few minutes, still embracing, then when they separated, Harry slid the Ring onto his finger, it resized, and he felt a surge of magic shoot through him. It was warm, almost like a mother's embrace. He opened his eyes to see Sirius smiling, and Borgrod looked pleased. "That was the magic accepting you officially. Even though you were adopted legally, this makes it legitimate in the eyes of magic, now no one can contest you, not even Malfoy." Sirius then sat back down.
"Since you were declared dead, the Ministry tried to claim the Potter vaults back in 1981. However, before we left, I visited Gringotts and put my vault and your vaults in lockdown. I was listed as your guardian if something happened to Prongs and Lily, so I could. Now that we're back, we can open them again." Harry thought for a few moments.
He looked over at Borgrod, "Is there currently a manager for the Potters?" The goblin summoned an aide, who arrived with a few parchments.
Looking through them, Borgrod then looked back at Harry, "Since Lord Black locked down the vaults, there haven't been any changes since 1981, the only fluctuations from the vaults have been from the established investments that your family made. There is a goblin listed as manager, but Bloodaxe retired just a month ago, and we've yet to find a new one to handle the account, the Potters are old, almost as old as the Black family, so a Senior manager like myself would be the only one qualified to manage it."
Harry nodded and traded a look with Sirius, "I've never considered myself a Potter growing up, but I know that eventually I'll have to take up the reins." He sighed, "Hopefully I won't have to handle two lordships, with Sirius having another kid." When Sirius went to protest Harry held up a hand. "Face it Sirius, you're now a very eligible bachelor, I've had enough training to know that you'll be a sought-after match for multiple families. You'll have another kid one day, and I want them to be the Black heir. If that doesn't happen, I'll gladly carry the mantle, but I'd like to focus on the Potter family primarily."
Sirius nodded and smiled sadly, "I know Harry, I do, and I won't actively avoid having a family of my own, but you've been my family for so long, that I consider you my son. I will respect your wishes though."
Smiling Harry hugged Sirius, "I know, and I love you for it, but I'll be an adult in a few years." He turned back to Borgrod, "I'd like you to be the manager for my account Borgrod, make the same investments that you are with the Black account, I find that they will be profitable for myself."
The goblin nodded and noted down on a parchment, "It would be my honor Heir Black. Would you like to take up the Heirship of the house of Potter?" Harry nodded, and they went through a similar ritual that they'd just done with the Black ring. Except the Heir ring for the Potters was A ruby set inside a silver ring, the sigil, a Gryphon, set in the gem. The motto was also set underneath in script 'Audentis Fortuna iuvat' or 'Fortune favors the bold' in Latin. Harry knew that from his education Sirius insisted he have for the Potter family, is that they hailed from the Romans occupying England, and eventually became the Potters. He felt the magic surge through him just like the Black family magics did, and he felt like he'd just been given a pepper-up potion, his body surged with energy and he felt elated. When it finally settled, he noticed that the rings merged, with the gemstones now a single swirl of red and black and the two animal sigils back-to-back. He smiled, satisfied both claimed him, and with their business concluded, Sirius and Harry left Gringotts.
They exited the bank with money pouches filled with cash, and they headed over to Fortescue's where they were to meet the rest of their party. They spotted Andromeda and Ted, who'd joined her at some point, sitting outside at one of the tables. They walked over and joined them, with two more chairs appearing.
"Where's Thomas and Tonks?" asked Harry, to which Andromeda smirked while Ted sighed.
Andi responded, "I may have convinced Thomas to take Nymphadora to lunch, after they went shopping."
Sirius laughed and Harry rolled his eyes, "So what are we going to do?"
Sirius, still smiling, spoke up, "We have our own shopping to do, Andi will be joining us, and Ted?"
The older man shook his head, "Sadly, I was just stopping by on my lunch break, I still have a few more documents to go through and send some letters back at the office. I'll be heading over once I'm done with my ice cream." Andi pecked her husband on the lips and stood up, her having finished hers just then. Her eyes twinkled and she looked like Christmas came early. Harry had a feeling of dread come over him, and he sighed. 'This is going to be a long trip' Harry thought to himself.
Several hours later, Harry, Sirius, and Andromeda floo'd back to the cottage, pockets filled with various packages of clothing. Andromeda had insisted on a full wardrobe of wizarding and mundane clothing for both of them: underwear, shirts, pants, shorts, robes for both formal and casual, socks, you name it. Harry was disappointed with how dated the wizarding fashion was in Britain, but he'd had a clever idea after remembering what Aurors wore underneath their red robes. He had several sets of robes in multiple colors, ties, vests, slacks, and a pair of dragon-hide boots with a color changing charm, that Harry could change to match his overall outfit. Harry though he looked like John Constantine from a comic he read at one time back in the States. It was ironic, considering Constantine was an Englishman who could use magic. Andromeda had admitted that he looked very handsome in the ensemble, and Harry felt incredibly smug about it. He did however have to concede to her choice when it came to his formal robes, which he had to have specifically tailored. He felt like he was in one of those gowns Mundanes wore to graduate from school, but it was charmed to change colors like his boots, so he could look like he was wearing different robes without spending the money to do so. He spent the next hour or so putting away his purchases and was able to touch up on his household charms. He was grateful that since he was from America, he didn't have the trace on him, since MACUSA didn't use it. He was finishing up on his clothes, when he heard some noises from Thomas's room next door. He headed out into the hallway, and he could hear what sounded like a wet smacking sound. He peeked into the room and saw a slim feminine body pushing another against the wall, a pair of hands placed on the, in Harry's opinion, great ass. The smacking sound he heard was the two in a heated make-out session, and there were a few moans and gasps coming through as well.
Harry smirked and leaned against the doorframe, he knocked on the door frame and asked, "I'm guessing lunch went well?" The two individuals leapt apart. Thomas and Tonks were VERY red in the face, and Harry couldn't help but continue, "Having fun you two?" He smiled, and Thomas grinned back, while Tonks had a glare on her face.
"Stuff it you, how long were you standing there?"
Harry shrugged, the smile not leaving his face, "Not long, I was finishing up putting away my purchases when I heard some lovely sounds coming from here." The two sighed, and Tonks flopped down on Thomas's bed. Thomas joined her. "So how did this happen?" Harry asked.
"Well," Thomas said, "Tonks and I had lunch after we finished shopping, and we flirted with each other throughout the whole meal. Dora had gotten bolder and had been teasing me with her feet, and I couldn't help myself. Once we'd gotten back here, I kinda jumped her, and she reciprocated." He grinned, "next thing I know you're barging in here."
Tonks had blushed harder when Thomas had said Dora and she punched him on the shoulder, "I couldn't help it, you looked so delicious in your Auror uniform that I had to have a taste." She lengthened her hair and flipped it over her shoulder, "Now, you're going to take me out to dinner, and we'll see if we can continue where we left off."
Thomas smirked and kissed her on the nose "You got it beautiful, I'll come by in a couple hours." The metamorph gave him an air kiss and pinched his butt before sauntering out of the room, exaggerating the movement of her hips.
Harry whistled, "You've really outdone yourself this time, the last girl you dated at Ilvermorny wasn't nearly as cool."
Thomas nodded, "Yeah, she's so cool and unique, and I just felt something when I first laid eyes on her."
Harry laughed, "Good luck on convincing her parents,"
Thomas joined in the laughter, "I think only Ted will be difficult, I have a feeling that Andromeda set us up today." The two Americans spent the next little bit talking about their impressions of Magical Britain, and the differences between home and here.
"I actually saw an older man in a woman's nightgown, I kid you not. This older man left the Leaky Cauldron when we were coming back from lunch out into the mundane part of London, in broad daylight!" The two were laughing uproariously when Sirius found them. He leaned against the doorframe watching, a fond smile on his face. 'This was supposed to happen to you Prongs, and you Lily. Harry enjoying life with siblings.' He left the two of them and entered the den. He walked over to where Archibald, Thomas's owl that his parents gave him before they left, had found his way to them. He wrote out a letter at the nearby desk and tied it to the bird's leg. "Can you send this to Remus Lupin, Archie? It is important he gets this." The owl bobbed its head and winged off, Sirius watched as the owl grew further away. Yawning Sirius made his way into the kitchen, where Andromeda had left takeout from a Chinese place near her house, and he sat down to eat. Harry came and joined him a little while later, while Thomas made his way to the floo to meet Tonks, after receiving a bunch of teasing from the other two. Once they were done eating, Sirius took care of the remains, and bid Harry a good night, before getting ready for bed and settling in.
August 10th, 1995
Sirius woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. He got up and showered, before putting on a pair of sweatpants that he'd gotten a few years back from James and Terri. He almost never wore anything else around the house after that, swearing they were the most comfortable trousers he'd ever worn, in which the rest of them teased him for saying trousers like a Brit. He entered the kitchen and sat down for his morning cup of tea when he heard a ping from the den. He walked over and opened his Gringotts letter box. Sitting inside was a letter and that day's copy of the Daily Prophet. He opened the letter and wasn't surprised that it was the invitation to dinner that night from the Weasleys. He quickly wrote out a reply and sent it back through the box. He was a little peeved that he sent Archibald out last night, but that was the price of the Fidelius when it came to communicating with the outside world. Sirius went into the kitchen and started a pot of tea, and a pot of coffee, knowing Harry and Thomas weren't fans of tea yet. He heard the shower by Thomas's room turn on and he sat down to read the Daily Prophet. His arrival had made the front page.
Sirius Black Returns!
By Rita Skeeter
Sirius Black, originally believed to be the betrayer of the Potters to You-Know-Who in October of 1981, was recently exonerated by the Wizengamot in a closed session. This came after the ending of the Tri-Wizard Championship won by Durmstrang's Viktor Krum. It was discovered Master Auror Alastor Moody, who had been the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor this last year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, turned up dead, along with a previously believed dead Peter Pettigrew. Champion Krum had been taken during the final task and arrived in an unknown location. When he arrived, he found a subdued Pettigrew and a dying Auror Moody. According to the auror, he had been captured by Pettigrew and believed to be dead Barty Crouch Jr. and tortured. Moody had broken free and dueled the two wizards but was mortally wounded by Crouch before the wizard fled. We at the Ministry wish to thank Viktor Krum for returning a decorated Auror back to us so we could give him a proper burial.
Pettigrew was taken into Ministry custody and interrogated. What he revealed stunned us all! He was the Secret Keeper of the Potters, not Sirius Black! A call was sent out to the missing Black, requesting he return to British soil and accept the heartfelt apologies of the Ministry. What surprised us all was when he returned, he wasn't alone! That's right, Sirius Black, now Lord Black, came back with two young men. These were two members of the American Branch of the House of Black. Timothy and Henry, came with him to, we suspect, aid in the re-establishing of the House of Black. We would like to question why Americans and not upstanding British citizens such as the Malfoys? We may never know.
(For More about Sirius Black, Pettigrew and the Potters, see page 3, Alastor Moody obituary on Page 4.)
Sirius sighed, after all these years the Prophet was now a sensationalist piece, and not a decent source of information and good journalism. He wrote a note and sent it to the goblins for a meeting with the Prophet editor for Monday and sent it through the box. He returned to the kitchen where he saw Thomas perusing the Prophet.
"We made the front page I see," the young man said, not looking up.
"Yeah, did you see they called you Timothy?" That got a laugh from Thomas.
"No! I didn't see that, oh boy, if mom saw that she'd be contacting the editor immediately and giving him a piece of her mind."
Sirius laughed along with him, "I did send a letter to the goblins, hopefully I'll see the editor on Monday. If it's still Barnabus Cuffe, then it should be a fun meeting." The two men spent the next few minutes talking about the article, and that's how Harry found them when he entered the kitchen.
"What happened?" he asked, biting back a yawn. He made a cup of coffee, added his cream, and sat down. Thomas passed the newspaper over to him. Harry read it, laughing at the article. The floo activated in the den and after a few seconds, Andromeda and Tonks slipped in to the kitchen.
Smiling, Andromeda greeted them, "I'm guessing you saw the Prophet?" They men all nodded, and Tonks moved over to where Thomas was sitting. She grabbed his mug and took a sip of his coffee.
"Urgh, how can you drink it like this? It's so bitter!"
Thomas grabbed his mug back and smirked at her, "What's wrong beautiful? Don't like it strong?" he then grabbed her hand and pulled her into the chair next to him.
She laughed at him and pinched his cheek, "No you Yank, I like it when it's not burning my throat as it goes down." She summoned the pot of tea that Sirius had brewed, "Now this! This is the real stuff!" She fixed her mug and sat back down. The two older kids started talking quietly, and Harry started listening to the conversation Andromeda and Sirius were having. They seemed to be discussing the upcoming Wizengamot session, and Sirius's first appearance as Lord Black. The had just finished talking about some bill that a woman named Umbridge was trying to push through when Sirius suddenly exclaimed, "That's right!"
He went over to the den and came back with a letter in his hand. "Arthur Weasley said that they'd be inviting us over for a Sunday dinner tonight, and I think it'll be fun!" he looked at his cousin, "Andi, would you like to come?"
The woman shook her head, "Ted and I already have plans for tonight, but Nymphadora could do with a night out, and she was friends with their second son Charles while at school."
There was an indignant shout from the other side of the table, "Mum!"
The two older kids were listening now and Andromeda exclaimed, "Nymphadora is a perfectly good name, you just don't acknowledge it!" The young woman groaned and Thomas patted her on the back.
He grinned at Sirius, "I'd love to meet the Weasley Family, Arthur seemed nice enough, and Nym says that the kids are great." Harry noticed Tonks's cheeks pink when Thomas said "Nym", and he knew she had it bad for his admittedly handsome cousin. He did look very good with the black hair, made him look regal.
Harry also spoke up, "I'd love to go, what time are we heading over?"
Sirius looked at the letter again, "Arthur says that dinner is half past six, but to come at six so we can meet everyone. I'll admit, he had five sons last I checked, so it'll be crowded."
Andromeda laughed, "They had another son and a daughter since then." She stood up, "apparently their two twins are also the heir apparent to your legacy Sirius."
Sirius's eyes gleamed at that statement, "They're pranksters? Looks like Messer Padfoot will have a chat with those two." Harry shuddered, normally Sirius couldn't get away with pranks since he was the only one that really did them while in America. Having more pranksters around seemed like a bad idea, especially where his Aunt Terri couldn't keep him in check.
The rest of the day passed with the three Blacks putting their rooms together, and in Thomas's case, making out with Tonks. The two really seemed to click, and Harry found it kind of sickening at times. He left them alone and went to get ready. Sirius had said that while they were purebloods, the Weasleys were very liberal with customs, so it was a casual affair. Harry showered and put on one of his new button ups. It was a design meant to not be tucked into his pants. He paired it with a pair of dark jeans and his sneakers. He brushed his hair and tied it back. He looked in the mirror and smiled. Satisfied, he headed to the den, where Sirius and Thomas were waiting. Sirius was dressed similarly to Harry, but he had his leather jacket on. Thomas was also dressed casually but had a vest on over his shirt. He'd always been a fashionista, much to the pleasure of his mother, and incessant teasing of his brothers, so he hadn't changed that at all. They waited until Tonks came in. She was dressed very punkish, leather pants, combat boots, and a shirt that said 'Pink Floyd' on it. She also had a leather jacket on, and her hair was pink and short.
She greeted them and asked, "Shall we?" Agreeing, Sirius activated the floo, he called out "The Burrow!" and disappeared. The rest followed, Harry going last, disappearing into the green flames.
A/N: We're off to the Burrow to meet the rest of the Weasleys! I'm really excited to expand on our family of redheads, and I'm planning on some interesting new things that I haven't seen before. Thomas and Tonks will continue to be like this, they're young adults who are enamored with each other, and they're not used to being able to just... be around each other. Also, there will be a lot more crude language coming out, as Harry begins his own romantic escapades, and teenagers and hormones mix.
Like I said above, chapter 7 will come out in April, and 8 will either come out sometime in April if I'm able to finish early, but it will FOR SURE, be coming out at the beginning of May. The monthly schedule is a GURANTEE, meaning that even if I release a chapter early, the next will come out the next month at the latest. Now, as always rate and review! I will always respond to reviews that have questions or opinions that I want to address if I feel like they're unfair, but I digress, see you in chapter 7!
Cheers,
Rei
