Seth and Dean moved through the darkness with a sleeping Marcia in their arms. It had been 9 long days in Trish's house. Surprisingly the dogs had been okay. Dean had searched the house but it seemed like Marcia had trashed anything of value. The dogs were now left in the back seat of Seth's car while the two men carried Marcia to the barn.
"Okay, let's get her inside," Dean said.
Dean used his bolt cutter to cut the chain to the barn. He had already done that once before and then bought a padlock identical with the one Hunter had used to lock up the place again.
"Are you sure it's in there?" Seth asked.
"I saw it with my own two eyes," Dean said. "It's not that big but there's room for two people."
"Sadly only one is going home," Seth said.
"There, got it," Dean said.
Dean opened the door enough for them to slip through. Seth stared in disbelief at the space ship inside.
"You weren't lying," Seth said.
"Why the fuck would I lie about that?" Dean chuckled. "Okay, Marcia, time to wake up."
"Ten days," Seth said. "There's a few hours left from when she ate Batista."
"Do you think it's ten days on the dot?" Dean asked.
"I don't know, Dean. I don't usually hang out with aliens and get to know their everyday routine," Seth said.
Dean chuckled and walked over to the space ship. He opened the door and looked inside.
"Don't touch anything," Seth said.
"I'm not gonna," Dean said. "It would be cool getting a picture here."
"Don't!" Seth growled. "I already burned all the fucking evidence back at Trish's house. I don't need you creating new evidence."
"I'm not gonna. I'm just saying it would be cool," Dean said.
Dean walked over to a box stacked against the wall. He opened it and sighed.
"More evidence. Pictures and papers. This must be what Hunter kept. Smart move keeping it out of his house," Dean said.
"Fucking burn it," Seth said.
"On it," Dean said.
Dean poured lighter fluid over the box. He lit a match and dropped it down in the box. It would be easy to put out such a small fire once the evidence was gone. A low growl came from Marcia. Seth took a step back.
"She's waking up," Seth said.
"Shit," Dean said.
Dean ran to Seth's side. They both watched as Marcia slowly woke up. She stared at the space ship in front of her. Her growling turned into a weird howling that sounded like some sort of longing.
"She's gonna wake up the people living here," Dean said.
"Marcia!" Seth yelled. "You need to leave. You need to go home before they stop you."
Marcia turned her eyes to the two men. Once again they could see it in her black eyes. She was grateful for what they had done.
"Leave," Seth pleaded. "Please."
Marcia got on the space ship and used her hand print to get the panel turned on. She clicked some buttons and fired up the engine. Seth and Dean stared in awe as the ship lit up.
"What the fuck is going on here?" A man yelled.
They figured it was Hunter. They both ran to him and rammed their shoulders into him, knocking him down on the ground.
"Leave! Get out of here!" Seth screamed.
The space ship went upwards and through the roof. The roof collapsed down around them. Seth and Dean decided to let Hunter be Hunter, and they bolted out of there before the older man could get up and figure out who the hell they were and what had just happened. They ran to Seth's car, jumped in, and started driving. Dean moved his upper body out of the window and watched the space ship disappear.
"There she goes!" Dean yelled excited. "Safe travel home, Marcia!"
"She can't hear you," Seth chuckled.
"You don't know that," Dean said.
Dean got back in his seat and put on his seat belt. He moved his hand to the back seat to pet the dogs. Seth was smirking at him.
"Seriously, Seth. You don't know if she heard me," Dean said.
"Maybe she's going home to hang out with Mars," Seth teased.
"Shut the fuck up," Dean grinned. "God, I'm in the mood for a mars bar right now. Would it be weird celebrating getting her home with mars bars?"
"No, I think that sounds like the perfect send-off," Seth said. "Let's do that."
