This story is the last of the oneshots I wrote, or so I thought since each one has a second part that I will translate soon.
"It was a crazy night, don't you think Suiren?"
The blue-haired girl only nodded to his friend's question as they continued walking towards the girl's house. Both carried in their backs some blue-haired girls, Ho and Sui, Suiren's younger sisters who were sleeping.
The trainer's words quickly reminded the blue haired girl of what had happened just an hour ago at the Pokemon school. They had all planned with Acerola to build a haunted house for their little sisters to have fun, they would act as the ghosts with their Pokemon to give the girls a little scare which would eventually end in everyone laughing, or that was the plan.
No one expected that several ghost Pokemon would appear in the school, maybe just to have fun with them or so they thought until Acerola mentioned a strange behavior with some of those Pokemon, there were several cases, not only in Alola, that indicated that some people disappeared and several attributed that fact to the fact that the person was liked by those ghost Pokemon.
When he tried to push his sisters away, they could only see how a Mismagius attacked them with what seemed like hypnosis, putting everyone to sleep. After several dreams or nightmares in the case of some, they all managed to wake up and were able to find their sister. She thanked Arceus that nothing had happened to them, if something happened to them she wouldn't be able to live with herself.
Although, on the other hand, her sisters' attitude bothered her a little, they didn't know how scared she had become when she thought that it might have been the last time she saw them, thanks to Komala everyone was able to escape from those strange dreams.
While the blue haired girl was still in her thoughts, by her side Satoshi also remembered what had happened at the Pokemon school. He especially thought about the nightmare in which he was involved with Kaki and Lillie, he remembered the puppet and how little by little he himself and his friends also became puppets.
A shiver ran through his body as he remembered those moments, it reminded him a bit of what had happened to Kanto with some ghost Pokemon and how he saw his body on the ground crushed by a chandelier next to Takeshi and Kasumi. He took a slight look at her friend, she had a little frown and a grimace on her face, she was the one who had had the worst time not being able to find her sisters for a long time.
He stopped thinking about that as he kept moving forward with Sui on his back, he still didn't know why the boys had asked him to accompany Suiren home, Kaki with his Charizard could have taken them, although if he remembered it was already quite late and his friend worked very early. Both continued walking when they visualized a house with a small dock, a small boat was tied to it and a Lapras could be seen sleeping.
"Thanks for joining me, Satoshi"
"Don't worry"
Siren took out a key opening the door and leaving it that way so that the trainer would also enter, everything was dark, so he felt with his hands where the switch was.
"You can leave her on the sofa," said the older blue-haired girl, referring to one of her sisters. "I will accommodate Ho first"
"I can wait, I don't want to wake her up," he gave a slight smile as she felt the little girl's breaths on her shoulder.
Suiren thanked him with a smile for entering her sister's room and gently settling her on her bed. She picked up a small Poplio stuffed animal, placing it close to one of Ho's hands, which quickly hugged it as if acknowledging the feel of the stuffed animal. This managed to get a small smile from Suiren who, adjusting her sister's hair a little, left the room.
The door to the room opened again, this time, allowing Suiren to pass next to Satoshi, who was still carrying Sui. The little girl was holding on tightly to the trainer's shirt, so she couldn't give it to her sister. Seeing that there was no way the little girl would leave the trainer, Suiren began to hum a slight melody that seemed to relax her sister a little, little by little she undid her grip on the garment while it was held by her older sister.
Suiren repeated the same action with Sui, arranging her on her bed and placing a Pikachu plush next to her, repeating Ho's action. She stared at both of them and began to hum her melody again, making her sisters smile, they were having a good dream. All this was seen by the trainer, who had stayed a bit on the sidelines and watched with fascination everything that her friend did for her sisters.
"Rest…" she gave her sisters a small kiss on the forehead and then left with the trainer.
Both went to the living room, the blue-haired offered the jet some tea, who gladly accepted from her, now accompanying her to the kitchen.
"Are your parents not at home?" Asked the trainer curious, not to see the mother of her friend.
Suiren shook her head as she sat across from his friend. "Mama is in Akala visiting a friend and Papa is still on a trip"
Satoshi remembered that her friend had told him that his father was still exploring some aquatic Pokemon. They both fell silent as they continued with their drink, a silence that didn't bother anyone present. After a few minutes the trainer decided that it was time to leave, it was too late.
"I should go now, Professor Kukui might be worried"
"You're right and thanks again for helping me with my sisters"
The coach waved his hand downplaying the matter. "I'll see you tomorrow at school." He placed a hand on the doorknob and before opening it, he turned to say one last thing to her friend.
"Something happens?" she asked, confused that the trainer had stood still in the doorway.
"You really are a great sister because of how you care about them, although I think it's normal… oh! And just moments ago when you hummed the song making Sui let go of me, even I can tell you seemed like her mother, even though you're her sister"
After saying all that, the trainer scratched the back of his head a little nervously, ¿had what he said sounded weird? Perhaps yes, but something impelled him to tell her all that, especially after seeing how his friend snuggled her sisters with that beautiful melody that kept echoing in his mind. Because he was lost in his thoughts he couldn't see how Suiren's expression had changed, he lowered his head a little so his eyes weren't visible.
"I'm not a good sister" I hear the voice of the blue-haired girl.
"Suiren?" Coming out of her thoughts she could see that now it was her friend who had remained static, she saw how her fists were clenched tightly so she worried a little.
"I... I couldn't do anything for them," she clenched her teeth a little as she remembered. "If it hadn't been for Komala, we would still be stuck in the dream"
"That…" the trainer couldn't deny it, no one knew how to get out of that dream where Mismagius caught them and if it weren't for the lazy Komala they would still be there.
"I... almost lost my sisters." the blue-haired girl began to tremble and then fell to her knees on the ground to Satoshi's fright.
"Suiren!" He quickly walked over to stand in front of her.
"I can't lose them, I can't let something happen to them, I wouldn't forgive myself." The blue-haired girl continued to tremble while her breathing became more and more erratic. "If something happened to them, my mom couldn't handle it, much less my dad, they both love her very much, I can't let anything happen to them, I can't, I can't, I can't"
The blue-haired girl had to stop talking when she felt a small pain in the upper part of her head, looking up, she could see the trainer's outstretched arm and continuing with her eyes, she could see his hand that was on her head, as if from a karate chops involved.
Satoshi had hit her.
"You are a great sister." Satohi stared seriously at her friend. "And I'm sure that Ho and Sui love you very much, just like your parents. They both know that you would give everything for your sisters and that you would even protect them with your life if necessary, which I don't want to think about because I would be very sad if something happened to you"
Although the coach had started to speak seriously, little by little he was getting more and more nervous since he didn't know very well how to calm her friend down.
"T-The point is... your sisters are safe and nothing bad happened to them today. None of us could do much when we fell asleep because of Mismagius, but... rest assured that if something had happened to them, all of us would help you find them"
The blue haired girl slowly calmed down at her friend's words, he was right her sisters were safe.
"I was scared," the blue-haired girl began slowly. "I really wouldn't know what to do if something had happened to them." Her gaze turned crystal clear as some tears came out of her eyes.
"I can't say much since I'm an only child, but there are several people whom I consider as my brothers, and I would also be scared if something happened to both of them"
He slowly pulled a handkerchief out of her pocket as he wiped away her friend's tears. An act that he managed to bring out a slight blush in the girl.
"Thank you Satoshi," she thanked him with a beautiful smile and still with a couple of tears at the corner of her eyes.
The trainer only smiled at what her friend said, he didn't like seeing her in that state. He got up from the position he was in and offered a hand to her friend, she accepted the gesture and began to get up, although she could not stand up correctly since she felt one of her legs had gone numb, causing her to fall. Again.
Luckily for the girl, his friend was in front of her so she fell on her chest, embarrassing her a little because of the boy's proximity.
"I should go, now if it's too late"
"Co-Could you s-stay s-sleep?" Asked the girl still leaning on his friend.
"Huh?"
The question surprised the raven a bit, he didn't expect that kind of question from Suiren more than anything because her sisters always bothered her about whether he was her boyfriend.
"As you said, it's already too late and something could happen to you." Even though her voice was so low, due to their proximity, the boy could hear her clearly.
"I have my Pokemon with me" was the coach's thought, but if he thought about it, he was going to leave Suiren alone with her sisters and her mother always told her to protect her friends. "Okay, but where am I going to sleep?"
The girl moved a little away from the boy at the question, even though it was the girl who suggested it, there was no bed where she would sleep. Not counting her parents' room, there were only two beds available, one where her sisters slept and one for herself.
"W-Well…" the blue-haired girl's mind was working at full speed to find an answer, maybe she could sleep in her parents' room and leave her bed for her friend to sleep in. "Do not! It's too embarrassing!" she shook her head sharply at the thought of considering if she wanted the boy to sleep in her bed.
"I could sleep here," murmured the trainer looking at the sofa, it was quite comfortable, to tell the truth.
While the blue-haired girl was still thinking about him, Satoshi made himself comfortable on the sofa checking that his back wouldn't hurt for the next day, seconds later he confirmed that it was almost the same as where he slept at Professor Kukui's house.
"Suiren"
The girl gave a small cry at the call of his friend.
"Wha-what's up?"" she asked with a hand on her chest, that had scared her.
"I'll sleep here." The boy pointed to the sofa. "Can you lend me a couple of sheets?"
"The sofa!" she gave herself a mental blow by forgetting that detail. "Sure, wait here"
Suiren went to her sisters room to get a couple of sheets from one of the cabinets, she was a bit surprised to see Pikachu sleeping in the bed with her sisters.
"So here you were," she laughed a little, remembering that I had forgotten the presence of the few Pokemon. "Rest" a Pokemon caressed him before leaving the room.
With the sheets in hand, he took a couple of minutes for the trainer to settle into his makeshift bed.
"Good night Suiren"
"Rest" the girl began to walk to her room and before turning off the light in the room she turned to see his friend. "Thank you for everything," she said in a small whisper.
"Don't worry about that"
Suiren she froze when she noticed that the trainer had heard her, without further ado she turned off the light and she ran to her room.
Satoshi moved from side to side trying to avoid the sun's rays that passed through the window, realizing that he would not make it, he sat on the sofa stretching as much as he could. It took him several seconds to realize that he was at her friend's house, but what caught his attention the most was a pleasant smell coming from the kitchen.
"Suiren must be preparing breakfast." Getting up from the sofa, she went straight to the kitchen to eat breakfast. "Alola Sui-"
The boy stopped when he saw that the person in the kitchen wasn't Suiren, he was an older and more developed version, if he might add, of her friend.
"Ara," the woman smiled when she saw the boy at the kitchen door. "Alola Satoshi-kun"
"A-Alola" he gave a big bow, which he didn't even know why he did it. "Sorry for the intrusión"
"Don't worry, sit down I'll serve you breakfast"
The boy nodded, sitting in one of the chairs, seconds later several plates were placed in front of him while the woman smiled at him, also sitting in front of him. They both began to eat breakfast in a silence that was a bit awkward for the boy.
Why was he nervous? He didn't even know it himself.
— Not that it bothers me, but… I would like to know the reason why you were sleeping here-
The trainer choked a little on his food at what her friend's mother had said.
— W-Well… —
- Mother! —
Satoshi could not continue because two girls entered the kitchen, each one standing next to the woman. She the latter gave them a big smile, placing a hand on her head.
— Alola my girls, did you sleep well? —
"Yes, we dream of several Pokemon," they answered in unison. "We also flew and played with Pikachu and-" While they continued explaining, they both noticed someone else at the table.
"One-Chan's boyfriend!" They both shouted, pointing to the trainer, who was a little embarrassed by that.
"Ara," the woman placed a hand on her cheek, looking back at the boy. "I didn't know they were both dating"
"N-No, well"
"He's not my boyfriend!"
A new voice was present in the kitchen, Suiren had entered quickly upon hearing what her sisters had said.
"But yesterday they were hugging each other," the girls answered, embarrassing the pair of teenagers.
"Ara" the Suiren's mother just laughed at her daughter's expresión.
"T-That's not what you think," he answered with a big blush.
Satoshi stood a bit on the sidelines as he continued to eat breakfast, he could see that his friend was redder than a tamato berry from her little sisters' teasing.
"Satoshi-kun"
The trainer turned his gaze to the woman who had called him.
"I entrust my daughter to you," she said with a wink and a smile.
The boy looked at her friend, seeing how he was fighting with her little sisters, her expression, although a little embarrassed she was happy, maybe just because her little sisters were with her. There was nothing left of the expression she had on yesterday.
He gave a slight smile before answering. "Leave it to me." He gave her a thumbs up in acceptance.
"Huh?! Satoshi!"
They all laughed at the tender expression that Suiren was giving, who was embarrassed beyond her power, although after a while she also began to laugh.
It was a great morning for the inhabitants, and guests, of that house.
End?
