One hand kept Panov down so that he could have an unobstructed view of their target. The building was mostly as Alex had described. With Nomu patrolling it though they were going to have a difficult time getting in unseen. The four he had seen were White Nomu who was fast and had an excellent sense of smell but they couldn't see very well. Nor could they regenerate if he hit them with a bullet.

Charlie was out with Jackal scouting for the nest but he doubted it was necessary at this point. The Nomu were right where they needed to go. Unless there were other Nomu nearby by it was going to be a struggle just to get in.

A hand fingered the quiver at his side in consideration. He was a good shot. More than once he had proven to hit a charging Nomu at 200 yards. With there not being any wind he was neither at an advantage nor disadvantage here. Taking a few of them out very well could make or break the mission. What would you do, Gordon?.

There was an ever so slight flinch at the thought of Gordon Webb. The man has been the closest thing Izuku had to a brother. Like so many others he had cared about Gordon was killed in the Fall trying to protect an injured Hero. Very few people knew that Gordon was quirkless. Everyone thought he had an intelligence quirk. But he didn't he simply worked harder than most to improve himself. Izuku had admired him for his dedication. Now he desperately wished he could ask the man for his advice.

Panov asked drawing him from his thoughts, "Can we make it inside?"

"We can," he answered, "If the Nomu are taken out quietly first. Their patrols are going by exactly where we need to enter. If we enter at any other point there is too much of a chance of being turned around. Or being ambushed by the lizard nomu."

Lizard Nomu. Now those things were a pain in the ass to deal with. They were roughly the size of a medium-sized dog. The teeth on them were as sharp as orichalcum-made weapons. Abilities were being fast for scouting with highly developed senses of smell and hearing. It was accepted amongst the survivors that they were the scouts for the larger nomu. The main issue wasn't their size but the fact they traveled in packs as large as forty. Where there was one there was guaranteed to be more. Getting caught alone against them was signing your own death warrant.

Jackal asked from behind them causing Panov to start with surprise, "What's your plan, Delta?"

Izuku unsurprised by the others appearance appraised him. How close could they get? Jackal was many things but an archer was not one. He tapped a finger lightly against his thigh thinking.

Finally, he said as he pulled off his gloves, "I am going in. My bow won't make much noise compared to our other weapons. If I'm not back in twenty minutes find another way in."

Panov questioned his voice cracking slightly, "You want us to leave you?"

Coolly he answered, "If I'm not back by then I'm already dead. No use going back for a body."

"But..."

"You had better come back, Delta," interrupted Jackal, "The only one who gets to kill you is me."

Izuku flipped the other off before quietly heading down the streets. As he moved he pulled out three arrows and knocked one ready to be drawn. The other two were kept loosely in between his fingers in such a way that wouldn't hinder his draw.

Two minutes later found him hiding behind a wall watching the Nomu. Four White Nomu were moving back and forth in the front of the building. The patrol had stopped and they seemed to be waiting for something. Someone... they weren't the only ones trying to get to the two with time quirks. Shigaraki. It had to be.

There wasn't any hesitation as he drew back his arrow. The moment his thumb touched the side of his ear and released. In half a second he had drawn back the second arrow in his hand and then released it. A breath came as he was drawing his third. Three Nomu went down one after another and did not get back up. The fourth swung towards him trying to pinpoint where the arrows had come from.

It must have sensed him as it began to charge in leaps. He didn't have enough time to draw back. Time to test his theory on his quirk. As the White Nomu lunged for he dropped like a lead weight. It passed over him he grabbed onto its whip-like tail.

...

Looking back Alex realized how stupid of an idea it was to let Delta run off on his own. Even though they were able to get into the building safely due to his distraction. The man was incorrigible and lacked any kind of self-preservation instinct. By the Gods, it was worse than when he lost his soulmate!

Echo who had been the man's partner from the beginning for his part was leaning against the wall laughing. Normally he would have been happy to see any of the seven laugh. But this wasn't funny! That dumbass was going to get himself killed.

"Stop laughing, Echo," he growled low in his throat watching as the Nomu tried to buck off Delta.

Echo just laughed harder, "How can I? He is holding onto a Nomu by the tail! What was he thinking?"

Alex said rubbing at his eyes, "I don't think he was thinking," then he realized something, "Wait where is the Jackal?"

Both men turned back to the fight and saw that Delta was no longer alone. Another man had joined him on the Nomu a knife in hand. There was the Jackal and Alex was surrounded by fucking idiots.
