Izuku waited on the side with Tomura and the others while they went on with his new and improved plan (thanks to Izuku's very annoying ability to make him look like a jackass). The tiny hero wasn't allowed to leave his side for anything and it was a little annoying. He didn't like standing around.

He wouldn't be able to learn anything about them standing on the sidelines. He let out another huff, annoying Tomura more than he already was.

It really is like having a little brother. Jesus.

"You ok there or do you need to take a shit?"

Izuku shot him a weird look.

"How can you just stand here and wait?"

"I'm the leader. I have to trust my peons."

The child arched an eyebrow. He really couldn't believe that.

"I make plans, they follow. You practically scream leader yourself and you're asking how I can stand here?"

"I would much rather be with them than standing here."

"I really should've duct taped you to the fucking wall."

"Dick."

"Shithead."

"Jerk face."

"Ass waffle."

Izuku gave him a weird look that screamed 'what the fuck' but before he could say anything Dabi let out an aggravated sigh. He was standing several feet away on the look out at the other side ready to murder them both- even though the 'ass waffle' was hilarious but he wouldn't tell Tomura that.

"Will you both just shut the fuck up already? Fuck!"

The two of them fell quiet.

They were sharing drinks and gave Izuku apple juice for the job that went good without any issues for once. He looked really disappointed but drank his apple juice anyways. He sipped on looking at everyone. He kind of wanted a drink but Tomura and Sako put their foot down when Toga tried to hand him a glass.

It was so nice to see. Everyone looked so happy that it warmed his heart a lot. This wasn't the side everyone in the world got to see.

In battle…. everyone was so scary. They were murderers but seeing them all like this….

It made everything a lot harder. They were people too. They had struggled and they were struggling. Izuku wished more than anything he could give them an out. To give them the choice they deserved years ago. The help they so desperately needed. The same kind he needed once himself.

I wonder if there is anyone who can help them. Someone who could see their struggles. Even if Mom vouched for them, it wouldn't be good enough for anyone.

He let out a big sigh. Tomura eyed him but he stayed quiet.

Izuku finished off his juice box and wandered off to Tomura's room.

He needed some time to think.

Time is running out….. I have ten days left.

Aizawa had his hands shoved in his pockets just watching. He had been people watching for the last day. He hadn't slept much and coffee probably replaced the blood in his veins by now. He probably had taken a handful of Tylenol today too and that didn't barely helped.

Nezu laughed his furry ass off when he told him what was bothering him.

Fucking rat.

He tossed his empty cup in the trash and decided on getting a bottle of water so his kidneys didn't decide to shut down out of nowhere from the high amount of caffeine abuse.

"Do you know where Midoriya went."

The principal grinned and grabbed his cup.

"Do you think I would tell you if I did?" he asked, his beady black eyes sparkling with mischief.

Shouta drummed his fingers on his chair arm.

"This isn't a game."

Nezu cackled loudly with his tea splashing around in his cup.

"Oh my! You are very serious aren't you Eraserhead?"

"Of course I am! Aren't you worried?!"

The smile was wiped off the principal's face quickly.

"In a way."

He sipped his tea.

"There's something special about Midoriya. Something you need to know."

Aizawa just stared at him.

"There's a reason I believe he will be fine…. As long as certain people don't know where he's at. The quirk he has acquired is…. rather powerful."

"What do you mean acquired?"

"His quirk isn't his own. It was passed on to him from All Might."

The principal watched as Shouta's eyes widened in shock.

"All Might and Midoriya were born quirkless. They had their power handed to them. That man… the one in prison now, is more than likely after the boy for his power. As of right now, Midoriya is taking your advice to heart. He believes what you said to be true."

"When did he talk to you?" Eraserhead asked.

"Two days before he disappeared. He said the world was depending on him. I almost laughed but then he told me that the world wasn't actually Earth but his world. He said this person meant the world to him. That he was like a brother. He didn't care if he got expelled for it."

"What the fuck- you just let him go?!"

Nezu smiled, "Of course. I hadn't anticipated he would leave so soon but he's not a stupid boy. He promised to intern with me one month in the summer. I am very interested in his well being."

He drank the rest of his tea, watching the hero across from him. Shouta was dumbfounded.

"Is he…. is he in danger?"

"Yes and no. He told me everything. All I can tell you, he is toeing the line between hero and villain."

"Are you insane?!"

"No."

He placed his cup down on the table.

"His own mother believes he can change the world. I believe this also. Izuku will be nothing like All Might who stand for peace. He will be the hero who stands for change even when the whole world is against him. He has a difficult road ahead of him. I want us to lead the way. To give him the courage to be the change. He holds that power in those scarred hands of his."

Shouta was speechless. The new information was shocking to say the least.

"I hope that you and All Might will continue to back him up. If his plan works even a little, I will be backing him up along the way. He is aware he could die at any time. He said he didn't care as long as he could free him from the chains that bind him to the darkness. So I believe him."

"Who is this person?"

Nezu smiled.

"Someone who is exactly like Izuku. Someone Izuku could've ended up like if the wrong person got a hold of him when he was younger. The world is lucky…. Izuku could hold the destruction of hero and human society in his very hands in that one special villain would've found him first. We are very lucky that didn't happen. I just want you to keep in mind…. He's saving everyone. Even if it means his last breath."

X

"Jesus," he muttered.

He had even tried asking Katsuki about Izuku's whereabouts but the boy didn't know a damn thing either. Izuku had been smart who he trusted his information with…. His mother wouldn't even open her mother and neither would Nezu…

That slick bastard.

Shouta did have a lot of confidence in the boy- he did but it didn't sit right with him. He almost expelled Midoriya the first day. He insulted him… The fact he had such a good grip on that power for having it a short amount of time… It spoke volumes about his will power.

He had more potential than most people had in their damn lives.

Shouta was just mad at himself because he placed Izuku Midoriya on this dangerous path without meaning too.

But...

The look on his face when they saved people who slipped through the cracks- he was so proud of himself. Izuku gave those victims help.

Maybe Nezu is right.

Shouta paid for his bottle of water and headed outside to sit on the bench. He probably should be sleeping or resting instead of watching for Midoriya in public but he couldn't help himself. Something was eating at him and he couldn't explain it at all. He needed more information for it to make sense.

Nothing made sense anymore.

He took a swig from his bottle of water when his eyes landed on someone in a black hoodie and jeans. He watched the guy but that wasn't what caught his eye. It was the boy standing by him. He had wild blonde hair and was wearing an All Might shirt and shorts to match. He had big green eyes and no freckles.

Shouta stood up.

The kid's face looked familiar.

The hero left his bottle of water on the table and went to the cross walk. After a minute, he had the light to go and he hurried quickly trying to keep that black hooded figure in his sight. The crowd started getting thicker with people trying to leave work and get home. He did his best to keep up.

Shouta blinked and saw the blonde child's face.

He looks like a mini Midoriya.

The hero tried pushing pass the people but it was no use. The two of them turned down an alleyway.

I'm going to lose them!
He started to panic and pushed harder while not trying to knock people over. He made it to the alleyway but they were gone. There was no sign of that person or that child.

Fuck!

X

"How did you see him?!" Tomura hissed.

Izuku shrugged as they ran for the next building. He was lucky he could pick the tall villain up and rocket them upward onto the building despite his protest.

"He's looking for me."

The villain ran a hand through his hair.

"You're not going out anymore after today…. Unless we have too."
"I'm sorry."

Tomura glanced at the tiny hero to see him nod in agreement. The two of them jumped on another ledge to the next building.

"It's not your fault. Let's just grab dinner and get our asses home. We don't speak a word of this to the rest, ok?"

"Agreed."

The trip for cheeseburgers, fries and drinks was uneventful at least. It left Izuku feeling a little more at ease. He wasn't ready for anyone other than his mother to know what he was up too. Everything could blow up in his face without warning and he wanted to prevent that from happening. He had to prevent that somehow.

He would have to double down in research mode and he needed to talk to each one of them alone.

He needed to know what made them tick. Why were they the way they are and if they want something more. He had a dozens questions he had written down to ask each one of them. He wanted to see the pattern…. If there was one and fix it.

"I have ten days left. Almost nine."

Tomura's head snapped to the side as he stared down at him with his red eyes hard. Izuku stiffened up under the look he gave him. He probably ruined the peaceful moment they had going on.

"That's it?"

"Y-yea."

"Shit, I feel like we wasted the last few days on nothing."

"You sound disappointed."

"Well, I am. You went through all that trouble to come and see me again, even if it was stupid."

The tiny hero gave him a fond smile before snorting softly.

"You're a dick."

"I've been told before, thanks for reminding me."

Izuku snorted again with a grin on his face.

"What are you gonna do after dinner?" Tomura asked, watching the people around them.

"Research."

The villain arched an eyebrow.

"Research?"

"Yup."

"Uh huh."

"Why, you wanna help me?" the tiny hero asked with a grin.

"Knowing you it's probably All Might bullshit."

"It is not!" he snapped his voice getting a little high, "Not everything is about All Might!"

Tomura grinned, "God, sounds like you need to hit puberty again."

"I hate you. I swear."

The older one rolled his eyes, "Damn, it does sound like you're my little brother. It's gross as fuck."

"You just wait, I'm going to kick you in the freakin shin when I have the chance."
"Go ahead and try ya little shit."

The two of them bickered the whole time until they got home into Tomura's villain hideout then Dabi proceeded to scream at them to shut the fuck up or he was going to burn their faces off.

X

Tomura knocked out first out a two liter bottle of mountain dew in his hands. Izuku only rolled his eyes upon seeing it when he walked in.

He's such an idiot.

He grabbed the villain's phone and took a picture. Just to be a dick, he sent it to Dabi, Spinner, Toga, Sako and Twice. He could hear random laughter throughout the hide out since the walls weren't very thick. He grinned to himself and went to the web browser incognito mode.

Honestly, Izuku wasn't hoping for very much- he really wasn't but the lack of help for villains who wanted to reform was stupidly low. Pretty much nonexistent. It was really frustrating. It seemed like there was facility in America, one in Europe and another in New Zealand but that wasn't going to help anyone here. They probably didn't have a damn airplane anyways.

The League of Villains was almost piss poor broke.

He rubbed his temples.

I didn't expect this to be easy but goddamn it all. I figured there would be a little bit of help or some kind of program. All I see is villain bashing…. There were villain blogs where they wanted to share their stories, but it was taken down.

That's not helping get rid of evil, it's causing it to spread like wildfire because no one cares.

He leaned against the pillow then glanced over at Tomura.

I wonder what kind of hero or even what kind of person he could have been. Tomura could've been great. He would've been a hell of a rescue hero. Toga would've been good for underground. Twice could've been on the medical field. Dabi could be a good limelight hero who overcame the issues he has with his quirk. Sako could've been a good underground hero and so could Spinner actually. They all could've been great.

Izuku jumped out of bed and started scribbling down everything he just thought of. He broke the first pencil but he found a pen next to Tomura's computer and almost drained half of it with ink. Before he knew it, it was almost dawn.

Nine days left.

Izuku snuck out and went into the living room. No one was awake yet so he shouldn't be surprised. None of them liked being up before ten in the morning if they could help it. There was no meeting scheduled for them so he was in the clear.

They really were like a bunch of teenagers. He smirked as he got on stuff that would hide his identity.

Izuku was not a stupid child- he knew that if shit went south, he needed to have a back up plan. Two blocked from where he was staying, he had a hiding place with a burner phone with only one person's number in it.

Nezu.

The principal had gotten rather interested in Izuku over the summer and they actually met in secret quite a few times. The boy was skilled in more than just being a hero….. He could work in the underground and that was his aim but he had some intelligent agencies after his skills. Nezu had set that up for Izuku to make extra money whenever his insights were proven to be true or helpful.

When he mentioned to the man about villain reform, the principal gave him a creepy ass smile and asked for his ideas.

Izuku didn't tell his mother what he had done- he had put her in enough danger. He didn't have much trust for anyone else but the animal who drank tea and ran UA with an iron fist.

Nezu didn't see this as a way to spy on a bunch of villains. He saw it as a chance to take out a threat, bring them to their side and stop the biggest threat to humanity.

That's what it should be seen as. It would be better to bring all of them. This could save Kurogiri too... maybe.

Izuku texted Nezu told him this was an ASAP meeting.

Izuku: Need you in the meeting place. Now

Nezu: oh my already?

Izuku: It's some good news. A good…. plan for back up. To prove my point.

Nezu: Eraserhead has been out looking for you. Just as a warning

Izuku: I don't plan on going out unless I have too. I already promised.

Nezu: Be there shortly

Izuku: Over and out

Izuku made his way carefully after he deleted the text messages. He made sure to watch out for his teacher now. He knew exactly how the man worked and he would probably beat Izuku's ass if given the chance. He didn't blame the teacher any but he would like to avoid that for as long as possible.

He waited in the alleyway near where he hid his phone. He managed to stay hidden until he heard someone approaching. He poked his head out to see the principal standing there. He had a big ass grin on his furry face.

"AH! I almost second guess myself when I saw you but you certainly smell like Midoriya!"

The tiny hero giggled, "We changed my looks."

"I see that! Wise move!"

The principal came over and sat down next to him.

"I hadn't expected you to come up with something so soon."

"Well, I've been up all night."

Izuku pulled out a small notebook.

"This is for you only. These are suggestions to whatever I already found out but I plan on digging deeper. It'll take a while for you to read since I almost filled up the whole thing."

"When you plan on coming back?"

"I have nine days left being this little."

"I haven't told him anything but he is quite paranoid about you."

The small hero smiled sadly and nodded.

"I know. I have to do this though."

"I had always wanted to help young villains my thoughtful student. That's why I'm glad someone finally sees my point of view for once. It's not everyday a hero becomes friends with the enemy."

"I feel like he's more like family at this point. All we do is bicker and get yelled at for it."

Nezu grinned, "Of course! After you told me everything I can see it."

A moment of silence fell between them. Izuku hugged his knees tightly against his chest.

"Thank you for believing in me. Once I get more info, I'll meet you again."

"Of course, of course!"

Nezu placed a paw on his shoulder making Izuku give him a wobbly smile.

"Midoriya, you will make it. I have all the faith in the world. If it was anyone else, I wouldn't even bother but you… I believe you understand better than others. Not a lot of people can understand this situation. You have a good teacher who believe in you and the hero you looked up too. They believe in you. They're just worried since they don't know what's going on."

"I know."

Izuku reached into his pocket and pulled out a folded up paper.

"He already told Mom I was ok but can you give this to her for me?"

The small animal took it and placed it into his vest.

"Of course."

With that, Izuku was gone. Nezu returned to the school.

At least Aizawa hadn't caught them this time.
