Isanari Uesugi was pacing back and forth in the hospital hallway, with a look of anxiousness on his face, as well as a few bandages and a bit of blood. A few hours earlier, he and his wife, who was 7-months pregnant, got into a traffic accident. He only suffered minor injuries, however his wife was in worse shape than him. Fortunately, emergency services were called, and they were both rushed to the hospital in time.

He saw the doctor approaching him, and rushed towards her.

"How is she?!".

The doctor looked at him, with sad eyes and a sympathetic expression. Isanari's eyes widened in fear, dread twisting in his stomach.

'No'.

'P-please…don't tell me…'.

"We were able to save your wife sir, but…I'm sorry, but we couldn't save the baby". The doctor said.

His expression went blank, which made the doctor concerned. Isanari didn't say a word, as he sat down on one of the chairs, covered his face with his hands and began to cry. The doctor sat right next to him, as she tried to comfort him

Yumi was alive.

But their son…their son was dead.

It had been a year since the accident. A year since their son was taken from them.

They held a funeral ceremony, a week after the incident. Little Fuutarou, was cremated, and kept inside their home. Their relatives, attended the funeral, giving their condolences and comfort. Even Maruo came with his wife Rena who was 9 months pregnant.

Nearly Everyday, Yumi would tightly hold on to the urn, that kept their baby's ashes. He remembered, how hard she cried in anguish and grief, after she got the news that the doctors couldn't save their baby.

He checked the calendar, and saw that the fireworks festival was gonna take place tomorrow night.

"Hey love, you wanna go to the festival tomorrow? Maruo and Rena are going, and they're wondering if we want to tag along".

His wife didn't respond. She just sat down on the coach, holding their son's urn, that was on her lap. While absentmindedly watching the foreign news channel. Although they spoke in English, it was translated to Japanese.

"Tragic news tonight folks. As yesterday evening, brilliant philanthropist, entrepreneur, and founder of LexCorp. Lionel Luthor and his wife Cassandra Luthor, have died in a tragic car accident. Their seven-year old son Lex Luthor, was also involved in the accident. Not only leaving the poor boy orphaned, but paralyzed from the waist-down".

Isanari turned off the TV, the moment the news anchor said 'Car Accident'. Not wanting to trigger Yumi's trauma. He kneeled in front of her, as he stroked her cheek and moved some hair away from her face.

"C'mon, talk to me…please". Isanari begged.

She still didn't respond, she just sighed and nodded. The death of their son, still affected her greatly. They've been visiting a lot of therapists lately, and seem to be getting progress.

Yumi sighed, and finally nodded. Isanari embraced his wife, as he held her tightly, Yumi returned the hug, and buried her face in her husband's toned chest.

"We'll get through this…I promise".

Yumi only cried in response.

However, little did they know that tomorrow night, their lives are about to change.

Night of the fireworks festival.

Yumi and Isanari decided to watch the fireworks from a distance, specifically on top of a hill so that they could get a better view. Isanari let Maruo and Rena know in advance, that they were going to watch it at a different location, which the two understood.

They both stood on top of the green hill, overlooking the entire festival. The cold nightly wind hits their skin making them both shiver. The festival lights being very visible from their spot.

"The festival is beautiful as always, right?". Isanari said.

Yumi smiled slightly before nodding. Isanari was wearing his yukata, while Yumi was wearing nothing but plain normal clothes. Despite the festival being beautiful, it still didn't take their minds off their baby. The pain was still there, and God knows if it'll ever go away.

"Isanari look a shooting star!". Yumi pointed at the sky.

Surely enough, there was a bright blue shooting star that lit up the night sky, travelling through the air. But there was something off about it.

Like the fact that it was getting bigger and bigger.

That's when they realized that it was actually a meteorite, entering earth's atmosphere.

And it appeared to be heading towards them.

"Oh shit! Yumi RUN!!". Isanari screamed, as he carried his wife bridal style, and ran as fast as he could.

BOOOMMM!!!

The meteorite, crashed just a couple hundred feet away from them. But it still made a deafening loud boom, that made the ground quake to the point where it cracked some concrete and asphalt. The people from the festival also felt it, making a couple of people fall on their backs, and toppling over some buildings and stands.

"O-Ouch, Yumi- are you okay?!". Isanari asked in worry as he helped his wife up to her feet.

"It's okay, I'm alright, what about you?".

"Don't worry about me, I'm alright too". Isanari reassured.

They both looked to the sight where the meteorite landed, only to see smoke coming from the trees. The sounds of sirens blaring caught Isanari's attention, as he could see multiple fire trucks, ambulances and police cars from a distance away.

"Alright Yumi, I think it's time we head ho-". Only to see that his wife was nowhere to be found. He looked over to where the smoke was coming from, and saw Yumi walking towards the crash site.

"Yumi! Goddammit!". He cursed as he ran after her.

"Yumi stop! It's dangerous!". Isanari yelled, as he finally reached the crash site and caught up to her. Isanari took a moment to catch his breath, his wife could surely walk fast. He walked over to her, and became shocked at what he saw.

The 'meteorite' wasn't exactly a meteorite at all. Laying in the middle of a massive crater, was something that resembled some kind of spaceship made out of iron, with multiple steel 'pipes' protruding out of it.

Yumi who looked captivated by the ship, went down to get closer to it.

"Yumi! Are you crazy?!".

However, Yumi didn't listen, as she was already arms-length away from the ship, and against Isanari's concerns. She touched it.

The ship made a loud hissing noise from the contact, spooking Yumi, and making Isanari jump in front of her.

The ship opened up, while making strange noises. The cries and screams of a baby erupted from inside the ship, catching Isanari and Yumi's attention and shock.
