Missions:

The next day the others met with Kick and them at Kick's place. Teena and Scarlet informed that they couldn't seem to find where the scents were coming from, while Nicolette and Loraina couldn't seem to find anything on their fronts. This didn't set well with the boys, being that they didn't know what was going on. And with the fact Loraina couldn't see anything, they especially wanted to know what was going on. The girls didn't seem to understand what was going on as the conversation continued, however they tried to follow along as best they could.

"Kick, it's the point I can't get read on whoever is doing this." Loraina told them. "If I can't get a read on them, then I have no idea what to expect."

"And if I can't see the dreams of these people that also doesn't help." Nicolette added. Kick and Gunther didn't like hearing this.

"This is getting frustrating." Gunther commented. "Who the hell is doing this?"

"I don't know, but whoever it is, obviously are smart." Brianna stated. "The fact even we can't see anything on the thought front." Brianna brought up.

"Is it really that bad?" Mouth questioned. Kick and Brianna nodding. "There has to be something we can do. This issue is getting bigger."

"We know Mouth." Kick replied. "And the fact, someone thinks it's okay to be getting this close in our neighborhood." He mentioned as he glanced at Jackie and Kendall. "It's not good."

"We have no idea who were dealing with here Kick." Scarlet said. "Plus the fact they are trying to get so close to the girls, is definitely not good."

"Tell me about it." Gunther agreed.

"We need to know how to handle this." Teena glanced at them.

"Yes, but how?" Loraina asked. "If we don't know what these others are planning, what they are doing or even why they are doing it, this makes things very difficult." The others thought about all of those details.

"Not to mention, if what you said about the hunters coming in too… This only proves that things are getting worse." Mouth added.

"We know." Kick and Gunther folded their arms, still not liking that fact.

"We need to think of something here." Scarlet wanted to bring the subject back.

"The last thing we need is anyone else coming…" Teena started to bring up.

"We realize." The boys said again. The girls didn't know what that meant as they continued to listen. Teena gave the boys a look with that as did Mouth and Brianna.

"The point is, Scarlet's right, we need to come up with something to handle this." Gunther informed.

"Just watching and being on guard with the girls isn't cutting it anymore." Kick continued. "We need to do more."

"And what more can we do?" Nicolette looked at him.

"Take the fight to them." Brianna gathered where her brother and Gunther were going with this.

"But we have no idea what we're dealing with." Loraina reminded them. "Plus it does us no good if I can't see their movements and you can't read them either."

"For now that doesn't matter." Gunther instructed. "We have to do something before this escalates."

"Meaning what exactly?" Loraina inquired. "If we take the fight to them, we have no idea what we're going into."

"Which is why we might need to do surveillance for the next few weekends to figure that out." Mouth thought about it, also gathering where this was going.

"Surveillance?" Nicolette had a questioning look.

"Yes." Kick nodded. "If we go in small groups and try to gather what we can in the neighboring cities and the outskirts of this town, carefully, we might be able to handle this situation still."

"But what about the girls?" Teena asked.

"Us, what about you guys?" Kendall was concerned.

"Yeah, don't you guys think this is a bit dangerous?" Jackie added.

"Not at all, we know what we're doing." Brianna assured. The girls looked at each other, still not convinced.

"Remember who we are here." Kick reminded.

"We know how to handle this." Gunther spoke.

"This doesn't make us feel any better knowing you guys are putting yourselves in danger." Kendall told them, Jackie agreeing.

"Again, we know how to deal with this." The boys insisted.

"Plus we're doing only surveillance until we have a full understanding of what's going on." Brianna reassured. "In small groups, and someone will be with you girls at all times." She continued to answer. Teena and Scarlet nodding at that.

"So does this mean I should ask the twins to get involved?" Loraina inquired.

"Yes, but just them." Brianna replied. "For now the others don't need to worry about this." She mentioned. "We'll still see if we can handle this without them, plus it's better if we keep things small with how they are." Loraina and Nicolette nodding in agreement.

"Do you think these missions will be easy?" Scarlet asked.

"Not sure, but for now it's the only thing we got." Gunther answered.

"Okay, so who's first to look for a needle in haystack?" Teena folded her arms. "Plus should I ask what we're even looking for here? We can't just suspect all suspicious behavior, there has to be something specific right?" She was curious.

"That's the thing, no there isn't." Brianna breathed. "It's more like a specific needle in a needle stack." She countered.

"Well this just got more difficult." Loraina stated.

"It's going to be difficult, but we have to do it." Kick glanced. "We have to do this for many reasons."

"We realize." Teena and Scarlet agreed.

"The problem is we have to have a little bit of something here to go off of." Loraina suggested.

"We know their types, we know how they move, and know now they are attacking two girls at once." Mouth thought of the last reports.

"Even more they have a fixation on the girls for strange reason." Kick brought up, which he and Gunther didn't like.

"Do you think they might have a fixation because those two didn't finish the job?" Loraina wondered.

"Loraina has a point, some are like that." Scarlet couldn't help but concur with her assumption.

"Whether or not they didn't finish the job, it's the point, they saw us, and knew who we were." Gunther argued. "They didn't care." He narrowed his eyes thinking about that.

"Well, one cared, somewhat…" Brianna recalled his thoughts with that memory of that night.

"That's only because we beat the shit out of him." Gunther spat back. "He's lucky I didn't do more." He was still pissed for what that guy did to Jackie.

"Gunther's right, he only retreated because he was afraid." Kick was in agreement. "His thoughts proved that, his friend though…" He let out a breath as he was just as angered about that night.

"Maybe we should move on from that night." Mouth suggested. "Especially since those asses were quick in getting away."

"They shouldn't have gotten away." Both boys hated that fact. "We should have gone after them."

"You both had other pressing matters to deal with." Scarlet reminded them.

"Much more pressing matters to deal with." Teena glanced at the girls. The boys looked over at them, before they let out a breath.

"We know, we don't regret it." They spoke.

"We just didn't expect them to get away so quickly." Mouth folded his arms, acknowledging their own mistakes with that night.

"No we didn't." Scarlet nodded. "However, if it is them that are still after the girls, and are part of all this, that might be helpful." She thought about it.

"Thing is, it didn't smell like their scent." Gunther recalled.

"No Gunther's right, it didn't." Kick told them.

"But that still doesn't mean it might not help, especially if they want the girls." Teena added.

"I still don't understand." Jackie came in.

"Why us?" Kendall asked.

"We can't be sure." Brianna answered. "Just know we won't let anything happen to you girls."

"I think it's best to understand, though, that what we need to do is go to these places and figure out why girls are being attacked and killed, and why, if they are that is, Jackie and Kendall are in their sights." Teena informed.

"Again, if we're going to do this, who's best suited for what, or how are we rotating these positions, or how are we doing this?" Loraina inquired.

"Set up teams." Brianna replied. "I think having the twins and you two will be one team, Kick, Gunther and Mouth another, and then Scarlet, Teena and myself as a final third team." She continued. "If we rotate and continue to watch for any signs at night over the next few weeks, especially on the weekends, we should be able to get something." She looked at them all. They all nodded.

"I'll let the twins know then." Loraina spoke.

"You guys take the first few nights, then our team will go, and then the boys." Brianna continued to instruct. "From there we'll continue to inform each other on anything, while also keeping these two safe."

"Sounds good." Teena agreed.

"Solid plan." Scarlet liked it.

"And you guys are sure this isn't too dangerous?" Kendall still didn't like this, neither did Jackie.

"We told you girls, it's for your safety." Brianna glanced at them.

"And again, we can handle this." Kick mentioned. "We know what we're doing."

"Wouldn't be the first time." Gunther assured. The girls looked at each other, before letting out a breath and nodding.

"For now, we'll go meet up with the twins, and get ready." Loraina and Nicolette got up heading to the door. "We'll let you know if anything changes or something comes up." The others did a simple acknowledgment to that comment as they left.

"We'll be heading out too, best try and make our preparations in case anyone wants to cross city lines again, being I'm sure Brianna will cover the neighborhood front." Scarlet glanced at her.

"Of course I will." Brianna already knew that was true.

"For now, I think it best if the girls stay over at Kendall's with you boys." Teena suggested. "Might help make them more comfortable." She smiled at the boys. "Until this all situated." She mentioned. "Switch from the girl's places."

"Anyway, we'll see you." The two waved as they left.

"They're probably right." Kick glanced at the girls. "Plus I'm sure you two want to feel a bit normal."

"Yes, but we're sure you boys do to, and with you guys completely focusing on us…" Kendall thought about it.

"Probably isn't completely normal." Jackie brought up. "And we're sure you boys might want some time to yourselves as well."

"Trust us, your protection is our number one priority." Gunther assured. "And we'll get plenty of guy time later." He remarked.

"Right now we just want to focus on you two." Kick added. "However, we'll still give you girls your alone time, just be within 'arms-length' so to speak as we stay close to protect you girls." He affirmed.

"And what my brother's means by that, girls time might just have to be done at your places, not out and about like normally, unless I or the other girls are invited, given how things are, until this is all done." Brianna clarified. "Again, trust us we know it's a bit much, but we're going to keep you girls safe."

"Right." The girls nodded, as they thought about it.

"Let's just not think about it for a while, and go play some games or watch a movie." Kick suggested. The girls nodding as they followed the boys to go do that.
