Author's note: I'm skipping Dark Waters, cause there is no Hook! And I'm doing two episodes as one chapter. These are: Heartless and I'll Be Your Mirror.

A few days later, Almost everyone sat outside of Granny's. "If we don't give in to her, she'll use that on everyone?" David asked to them all.

"Yes. So, what is it?" Caitlynn asked.

"She told me to figure it out and that if we didn't give over our hearts within 12 hours, she would use it on the whole town." Snow replied to her.

Then, Jonathan looked at Emma. "You okay?"

"No, but I have an excuse. Haven't you heard? The Evil Queen's trying to kill my parents." Emma replied to him.

"Yeah, I wouldn't be okay either." Jonathan flinched.

David looked at Emma. "You said we were alive and well in your vision of the future."

"The Oracle said things could kind of change as we went along, but the only thing that was certain was that I died." Emma told them all.

"Oh, we can change that." Caitlynn comment. "You aren't dead yet by the hand of that bloody sword, so we change things."

"But..." Emma was interrupted.

"No, buts." Caitlynn interrupted her. "You are my sister and I love you, even we aren't always seem to be eye to eye."

"We make another way." Amelia agreed.

Regina spoke up. "Speaking of death, I think I know what this is." She held up something watery potion.

"Whoa. What kind of potion is that?" Emma asked to her.

"It's not a potion. It's water." Regina replied to her.

"What kind of water?" Caitlynn asked to her.

"From the River of Lost Souls." Regina replied to her.

"Great." Caitlynn muttered.

"Gold." Emma told them bitterly. "She's working with Gold. He brought it back from the Underworld."

"What of she found it?" Caitlynn asked to them.

"it can." Emma nodded. "But, Gold isn't stupid."

"I agree." Amelia hummed. "But she could have done something."

Emma looked at her parents. "And now, if you don't give her your hearts, she can destroy the whole town."

A little bit later, they went to Emma home, that she would have shared with Hook, if he didn't die, but he did die, so she had the house to herself and her son, when he came to visit. Now, Belle was with them and looked at vile as Emma noticed. "You don't seem shocked that Gold brought some of this back and gave it to the queen."

"I'm not." Belle comment, speaking ill of Gold was making Caitlynn sick and she wanted Gold back, crazy woman. "He's not acting like the man he could be. I wish I could help. But I-I've looked through all my books for any information on... on how to neutralize water from the River of Souls, but I'm afraid there's nothing. I'll keep looking." Then, she left.

Just then, Mother Superior came in. "I'm sorry to interrupt. I came quickly as I could. David called and told me what happened."

"Can you help?" Snow asked to her.

"Why is everyone speaking ill of Gold?" Caitlynn muttered.

Emma heard her. "You know what he did in the past, right?"

"Right, stupid question." Caitlynn replied to her.

"Unfortunately, I don't have a way to counteract the Lost Souls water." Mother Superior replied to Snow.

"So we either let the whole town die, or the Evil Queen gets exactly what she's always wanted." David stated.

"Maybe." Mother Superior nodded. "But there is a bit of magic that just might be powerful enough to imprison the Evil Queen. It's a sapling."

"A baby tree?" The twins asked on the same time.

"It was created by the first spark of a true love. It's incredibly rare." Mother Superior replied to them.

"Have you got one?" David asked to her.

Mother Superior looked at him. "We had one, back in the Enchanted Forest. We assumed that it was left behind in the curse, but now we think it might be lost somewhere here in Storybrooke."

"There has to be some, like, magical way to find it, right?" Emma asked to her.

Mother Superior looked at her. "There is... a spell that could point the way with a sort of beacon. But it wouldn't be visible just to us. If Gold or the queen or even Zelena saw it, they would know exactly what it was."

"And then we'd have a race on our hands." Snow comment.

"Maybe not." Regina told them.

"What?" Emma asked, blinking.

"The Evil Queen and Gold's alliance, there, um, may be more to it than business." Regina replied to them. "Rumple and I... there was always a certain amount of chemistry."

"Oh, God, that is something I don't want to hear." Caitlynn groaned.

"Regina, oh, my God." Emma also groaned.

"I know. I... know. Nothing ever happened. But I think we can use this to our advantage." Regina told them all.

Later, Caitlynn went to Gold. The kids were by Amelia and Jackson. When she arrived in the shop, Gold was alone. "Perfect." Caitlynn muttered, then she walked inside.

"Caitlynn." Gold was happy to her.

"I just have one question." Caitlynn held her finger up. "Are you and the Evil Queen an alliance?"

"No." Gold shook with his head. "Why would you think that?"

"Cause, the Evil Queen has the water of the River of the lost Souls." Caitlynn replied to him.

Gold blinked as then he went through his stuff, but he couldn't find anything. "Oh that clever woman." He comment.

"She stole from you?" Caitlynn asked to him.

"She did." Gold replied to her.

"Great, my parents are in danger as is the whole town with our children in it." Caitlynn groaned, she wasn't very happy.

Then, Gold walked closer to her. Taking her hand. "Sweetheart, your parents can think of something that will safe the whole town and themselves." He told her. "And our children are safe with your adopted parents and us, there is nothing to worry about."

Caitlynn looked at him. "Since when are you optimistic?"

"Since I met you." Gold replied smoothly.

"Smooth, Gold." Caitlynn smiled at him. "I love you." Then she hugged him.

"I love you too." Gold told her, seriously. Then they kissed.

Later, they all went to the docks. Mother Superior used her magic to send out the beacon spell. Her magic headed over the harbour to the woods on the other side. "There, where the light has landed. That's where you'll find the sapling."

"Regina can magic Snow and me out there to find it." David told them. "We just need to figure out where we're gonna put the Evil Queen once we've got her."

Regina looked at them. "My vault. I've taken all the blood magic off the locks, so it should hold her. But there's still a lot of dangerous stuff in there."

"Caitlynn and I can pack it all up." Emma told them.

"Great." Caitlynn muttered.

"All right, let's go." David told them all.

"Dad, just be careful, okay?" Emma asked to David.

"Don't worry. I'm in good company." David replied to her.

Not much later, Jonathan tacked along with the girls. "What is adder's fork?" Jonathan asked, confused.

"Snake's tongue." Emma replied to him. "There was some of that in the thing I had to drink to find Aladdin."

"Nice to know." Caitlynn comment to her sister.

"Let's get this up to Henry so he can pack the Bug before the new tenant comes." Emma told them as she picked up a box.

"Yeey." Caitlynn muttered. "Lets bet that a hell break lose." Then she noticed that Emma's hand started to shake. "Okay, sister dear, sit." She pointed at the bench. "Look at me. You're worried about our parents, and that's making this worse, but they're gonna be all right."

"They're gonna find that magic little baby tree thing and defeat the Evil Queen." Jonathan added as he had joined them.

Emma looked at them. "They're gonna find that magic little tree thing?"

"Yeah, that's right." Jonathan nodded.

"Oh, dear." Caitlynn groaned.

"What if they don't? What if the Evil Queen gets there first and I'm not ready for a fight?" Emma asked to them.

"All right." Jonathan replied to her. "You can overcome these visions. You can overcome anything. Now remember who you are. The product of true love."

"Yeah, that helpful, Jon, not." Caitlynn told him, sarcastically. "Sis, be yourself and I will stand by you." She looked at her sister. "Two sides of the same coin, remember?"

Emma nodded. "I remember."

Emma and Caitlynn got word from their parents that they had found the sapling, but, the Evil Queen found them and took it from them. She snapped it in two, causing to destroy it. A short while later, they found themselves along with most of the citizens of Storybrooke, standing in front of Regina's vault watching the Evil Queen pace. "People of Storybrooke. My people. I'm so glad you accepted my invitation because this is about you. If Snow White doesn't show up in the next five minutes, I'm going to share a little treat with you all. A taste of water from the River of Lost Souls."

Just then, Regina walked up to the twins. "You ready?"

"I actually am." Emma replied to her.

"Me as well." Caitlynn added.

"All right, it's time." Regina comment to them.

Suddenly, Snow walked into view. "Wait!"

Everyone turned to see David and Snow walked up the path to the vault. "Well, well, well. Look who's right on time. I should've known you'd show up. Even without your precious sapling." The Evil Queen snarled.

"We don't have the sapling, but we don't need it. It's done its work. We know our love is more powerful than anything you can throw at us." Snow told her.

"And to save the people of Storybrooke, we're willing to do what you ask. It's a sacrifice we need to make." David added.

"We're going to do the right thing." Snow finished.

"Dad?" The twins asked on the same time. "Mom?"

Snow looked at her adult children. "Emma, Caitlynn, most people go through life never knowing where their paths will take them, but somehow we always do. It's always to each other and then back to you."

"Are you sure?" Regina asked, unsure.

"Yes." David nodded. "Lift the protection spell." Then, Regina waived her hand and reluctantly took the protection spell off Snow and David's hearts.

Then, they turned and looked at the Evil Queen, they walked hand in hand. The Evil Queen stepped forward reached into their chests and pulled out their hearts. She looked down at the two half hearts and said to them. "I've dreamt of this moment for so long, Snow White. I'd wake up still feeling the grit of your crushed heart clinging to my palms. But that ending isn't poetic enough, is it? I want to give you... my pain... the pain of being alone. And since I couldn't quite accomplish that by killing you... I've come up with something much more cruel." She chucked and shoved the half hearts back in their chests.

Suddenly, Snow fell to the ground asleep. David checked her and laughed lightly. "A sleeping curse?" He asked to her. "That's never kept us apart before."

The Evil Queen smirked. "This one has a little twist. You say you always find her. Well, start looking, Shepherd. And let's see what happens when you do."

Not much later, they rushed to the apartment, to find Snow. "Snow!" David shouted, looking everywhere. "Snow?" Then he looked further, bit he couldn't find her, then he suggested to the others." The woods. Where she sent her before."

A short time later, David jumped out of his truck as they found Snow in a glass coffin. "Dad!" Emma shouted.

"I don't think a kiss is going to do it this time." Caitlynn added.

"Just let him try." Regina told them. Then, David leaned down and kissed his wife, then Snow's eyes opened and pulse of magic spread out. David smiled. "How about that." She comment, smiling.

But then David's eyes closed and he fell to the ground. "Dad!" The twins shouted, rushing over to their dad.

Then, Snow sat up. "David? David?" Then she asked them. "What happened? What did she do?"

"She put a sleeping curse on your heart, the heart you share. So now you share the curse." Regina replied, explaining. "When one of you is awake, the other will be asleep. So, as long as the curse is unbroken..."

"Then we'll never be together." Snow finished the last bit.

Later that night, they all went back to the apartment. Snow was getting ready to film. "Hey, Charming." Baby Neal coos. "Remember when I said I wanted things back to normal? Well, look at us now. Maybe this is our normal."

"This is all my fault. I can't let them suffer for it." Regina muttered as she walked towards the door.

The twins noticed her. "Regina, where the hell are you going?"

"To stop the queen." Regina replied to them. "I can hurt her. I'm the only one who can hurt her. Anything that happens to me will happen to her."

Emma shook with her head. "No. I am not letting you sacrifice yourself."

"Well, I'm not asking for permission." Regina comment.

"Think about Robin?" Caitlynn asked to her. "You are planning a future with him, don't let the Evil Queen be in the way of it."

"Did you forget what's about to happen to me? I have a death sentence." Emma sighed.

"All about herself." Caitlynn muttered.

"But you can fight that future, Emma. I know you. You will fight it." Regina 5old her, sighing.

"Regina!" Caitlynn snapped at her.

"But that doesn't mean I will win, and the only thing that makes that bearable is knowing that Henry will still have you. I can't be there, so you have to be. You know I'm right. We have to find another way to defeat her." Emma told to Regina.

"Emma, don't talk like that!" Caitlynn hissed to her. "Why are the people i care about giving up?" She muttered at the end.

"Okay." Snow comment as she had written a note to David. "That's enough despair for one day. I'm going to wake him up. If you would please give this to him." She handed the note to Emma.

"Finally, someone agrees with me." Caitlynn muttered.

"Of course." Emma nodded.

Caitlynn frowned at her mother. "Are you okay?"

"No. She's watching us." Snow replied to her as then she pulled a sheet over the mirror.

A fee days went by, Snow and David were leaving notes for each other as Emma and Regina came up with a plan. Which the others thought it had worked, or so it seems. "Mom. Did it work?" Henry asked as he was getting ready with the help of his aunt and grandma. Then, Regina came into the apartment.

"It worked." Regina replied to him. "Henry, it worked. And I cannot tell you how good it feels. It's like I'm finally... free." Caitlynn noticed that something was off.

"I knew you could do it." Henry walked to her and gave a hug.

"And my sister... is she all right?" Caitlynn asked, a bit worried.

"Oh, yeah, she's fine. She's driving to New York to look for the Dragon." Regina replied to her.

"Why?" Caitlynn asked, frowning.

"She left you a voicemail." Regina replied to her as then her hand waved a little. No body saw that.

On sues, Caitlynn phone beeped. "Hey. It's me. The queen's gone, so I'm going to New York to find the Dragon. I might be away a few days. Please help my dad and fill in as sheriff, okay? Keep everybody safe. See you soon." Caitlynn stared at it. Then she muttered. "She never speaks like that."

Just then, Snow walked past them. "So, you really did it? You got rid of that monster?"

"Oh, well, I'm not sure she was a monster." Regina replied to her as she took a deep breath, Caitlynn noticed that.

"Oh, yes, she was, Regina. I know she was once a part of you, but she was the worst part, and I am so happy that you ripped her out and threw her away. I am so proud of you." Snow told her.

"That's so nice to hear." Regina took another deep breath. "But we have someone else to worry about. Henry."

Henry pointed at himself. "Me?"

"You have to get dressed for a dance." Regina replied to him. "Okay. Hmm." Regina grabbed something. "Here. Can't go wrong with black." Then she chucked. "Now, I know you're nervous about this dance, Henry, but you don't have to be. I'm going to make sure... everything... works out for you."

Caitlynn was still worried and went to her adopted mother, Amelia. "Call her again." Amelia told her.

She nodded. "It's me again. I'm sorry for leaving so many messages, but from what I recall, phones still function in New York City."

"Something doesn't feel right." Amelia muttered.

Just then a phone rings, they were close by. They faced with the Evil Queen. "You're pretty clever for a none savior."

"What have you done with Emma and Regina?" Caitlynn demanded.

"That's an excellent question, but one I'm not going to answer." The Evil Queen used her magic to put then to the ground, only Caitlynn was standing.

"Aah!" Amelia shouted as them she hit the ground.

"Mom!" Caitlynn shouted, seeing her adopted mother on the ground. Then, she looked back at the Evil Queen. "What have you done?" She hissed.

"You have fire, does you husband like that too?" The Evil Queen smirked.

"Stay away from them." Caitlynn felt her magic coming and used her anger to her, then she had hurt the Evil Queen.

"Bitch, if you hurt me , you hurt Regina and you don't want that." She hissed to her, fighting with her magic.

"She's not here, is she?" Caitlynn asked to her. "I suppose I can hurt you now." She attacked her with magic. Blasting the Evil Queen to the ground. "Bitch!" Then, she walked towards her. "Regina hadn't you pulled out!" Then, she walked away form her and went to Amelia, they went disappeared in white/ purple smoke.

Caitlynn went back to her home, Gold was there as well as Jackson was with the children. Then, Gold looked at them. "What happened?" He asked as he rushed over to them.

"The Evil bloody Queen happened." Caitlynn replied, bitterly. "Mom's still unconscious."

"Have you tired using magic?" Gold asked to her.

Caitlynn sighed. "I did." She replied to him. "It didn't work."

Then, Gold checked Amelia. "Well what you did, it helped her, she's just asleep."

"Thank, god of that!" Caitlynn breathed out. "I can't bear to lose her or any of the people I care about, even you, Gold."

"I know, sweetheart." Gold nodded. "You will never lose me." He promised her.

"I know." Caitlynn smiled at him. Just she got a text from her sister that she was safe and sound. "Ha, Emma is safe."

"Was happened?" Gold asked to her.

"She was trapped, but escaped and she is safe now." Caitlynn replied in a hurry as she texted her sister back.

"That's good." Gold nodded.

Caitlynn smiled at him. "Yeah, it is."
