POV Izumi

It has been a week since the USJ Incident. My name skyrocketed since then and I started to be able to buy better tech for my costume. I had a miniature version of the gauntlets on my wrist as a watch. It could only hold a fraction of gas and web fluid but would work in a pinch. I was walking around while it was getting dark to decide if I needed to go patrol tonight when I heard a sound down an alley. I looked to see a form lying on the ground curled up, crying.

"Hey, are you alright?" I asked, walking up to the form.

"I need blood," a female voice said as the form jumped at me stabbing my shoulder.

"Ah, sorry," I said, knocking her out with gas. I then looked to see she was bleeding pretty badly and looked to be on the verge of death. "Dang it." I pulled out my phone to see if any pros were around and was surprised to see Eraserhead was. I called him over the hero line and activated the voice changing app I had.

"Who are you and how did you get on this line?" he asked.

"Aw, you forgot me already?" I asked.

"Prowler, what do you need?"

"There's this girl who was just attacked by a person who I believe to be delirious from blood loss and both are injured and bleeding. I thought it would be better if a pro called the ambulance and stayed with them," I said.

"Alright," he sighed. "What's the location?"

"It's coming your way now," I said, hanging up. I then used my webs to keep the other girl from moving but still able to be moved.

"I'm guessing you're the one that got hurt," Eraserhead said, jumping from the roof of a nearby building.

"Yeah, not sure what I would've done if it wasn't for the Prowler," I said, holding my hand over my bleeding shoulder.

"Doesn't look too bad, and she does seem to have lost a lot of blood. An ambulance will be here in a few minutes, miss?"

"Shimura, Izumi Shimura," I said.

"Your name sounds familiar. Aren't you the quirkless girl who passed the test but was denied admittance into the hero course at UA?" he asked.

"Yeah, that's me, my name was Midoriya but I changed it to be my mother's maiden name a few weeks ago. How do you know about that?" I asked.

"I'm a teacher at UA. I want to apologize, my colleagues didn't think it would be wise to give a quirkless person a chance to be a hero. I was one of two people who were for you joining," he said.

"Who was the other?" I asked, sitting down.

"Midnight. Wait, didn't you get in the support course?" he asked.

"My plan was to be in both courses and build equipment to use for heroics. I decided to not go as it would take up time and I can build my own gadgets and do what I want with them. I've actually sold quite a few patents for designs but I keep some and some are for someone else," I said, covering up my mistake.

"Who?"

"Um, I can't say," I said, looking off at the sky.

"You build the Prowler's equipment don't you?" he asked.

"W-what, n-no."

"Who are they?"

"I don't know. I got a message for a challenge and accepted. I make the equipment and leave it in a box in my apartment and they pick it up and drop off anything that is broken. I repair it and they take it. The only stipulation is that they have to help me get materials from places like the dump for some equipment," I said, half-lying.

"Hmm, alright. Why don't you stop?" he asked.

"It's the best way for me to get stuff for more intricate designs from places I couldn't get to."

"Nothing illegal?"

"No, just the dump. I don't think taking stuff that's going to be destroyed is illegal," I said.

"Eh, if it is, I'll let it slide. Here's the ambulance," he said, pointing to the white vehicle.

"You're the hero who called us?" the paramedics asked.

"Yes, this young lady was stabbed and the other seemed to be delirious from blood loss and wasn't in full control," Eraserhead stated, looking at the other girl.

"Alright, we can get you patched up and both can ride as we make sure she's good but one will have to be in the front," the man said.

"The kid will, I'm a pro so if she does anything I can help."

They then loaded the other girl on a gurney while they gave Eraserhead some bandages for my shoulder. Once I was patched up they put me in the passenger's seat of the ambulance as they loaded her into the back. The drive to the hospital wasn't too long but enough to get out of the Kamino Ward. We pulled up to a nice looking hospital and they rushed the girl in. I was led to the ER and had my shoulder patched up.

"How are you feeling?" Eraserhead asked, walking up to the chair I was sitting in in the waiting room.

"Not too bad, just glad I just needed a couple of stitches and nothing more," I said.

"Why are you still here?"

"I'm waiting to see if the girl's alright," I said.

"Really? She tried to kill you," he said.

"I know it sounds weird, Eraserhead," I started.

"You can call me Aizawa," he said.

"Alright, Aizawa. It's weird but I don't blame her. She looked like she was half dead and didn't know what she was doing. I want to be a hero and heroes care about those who need help," I explained.

"You're better than some of the kids in my class," he said. "Do you need to call your parents?"

"Nah, my dad's in America and my mom died in a villain attack. My dad pays for my apartment and sends me money every week for food. He's trying to find a way for him to change jobs to come back," I lied.

"Ah, want something to drink?"

"Coffee, black if possible," I said.

"I'll see what I can find," he said, walking to the machines.

A few minutes later he came back with two steaming cups of coffee and handed one to me. I drank the dirty bean juice as I waited. After a few minutes the doctor walked out and over to us.

"You're the hero that brought Miss Toga in, right?" he asked, looking at Aizawa.

"Yes, is she alright?"

"It's strange. She's fine and honestly wasn't missing too much blood, so we did some tests and learned that her quirk requires her to actually drink blood and if she doesn't her mental state plumits."

"I'm guessing that's why, I bet her family tossed her to the streets because of her quirk," I said.

"We gave her some blood and she's conscious if you want to see her," he said, looking at me.

"Thank you, can you lead us there?" Aizawa said.

"Yes, follow me," he said, walking to a hall. He led us to a room and held a hand up for us to stop. He went in and I could hear some talking before he emerged. "She said you can go in."

"Hello there, are you feeling like yourself?" Aizawa asked.

"Y-yeah, I'm sorry I attacked you," she said, looking at me.

"It's alright, I'm just glad that you're here and not out there. Who knows what would happen if you weren't found?" I said.

"I do have to ask, why were you out there?" Aizawa asked.

"My parents tossed me out a few months ago. I've been surviving off of animal blood but must've not been able to find any and lost my mind," she said, holding her head.

"By the way you look I would say you've been in your crazed state for a few months. Do you remember the month you were tossed out?" Aizawa asked.

"Um, September," she said, causing my eyes to widen.

"Um, it's the end of August right now. You've been on the streets for a year," Aizawa said.

"W-what? N-no w-way," she said, freaking out.

"Hey, take a deep breath," I said, walking up to her. "You aren't to blame, if anything it's your quirkist parents. My name is Izumi Shimura, what's your's?"

"H-Himiko Toga. I-I don't have anywhere to go," she said.

"Well, it isn't much but you can stay with me. I live by myself and I don't think anything legally can stop you," I said, looking at the hero in the room.

"Feels weird but I'll allow it," he said.

"Well, Miss Toga will be free to leave in just a minute. I do have to ask where you live, Miss Shimura," the doctor said.

"The Kamino Ward."

"Hmm, alright so she's going to have a prescription for a certain amount of blood she needs to drink a week so you will need to go to a hospital to pick it up," the doctor explained.

"Alright. I can help her," I said. "And, if push comes to shove she can just drink mine," I added, looking at the fangs she had.

"Technically yes, but I would prefer that be a last resort," the doctor said.

"Alright, I can get a ride to take them there as well as help them out a bit more," Aizawa said, walking away while taking his phone out.

"Alright, I'll need you to fill out these forms and she'll be good to go," he said, handing me the clipboard he had. I filled out what I could and handed it back. "Alright, now we just need the hero to fill his part out and you'll be good to go. We'll give you some clothes to have," he added.

"Thank you," Toga said, giving a fanged smile.

"Ugh, hate paperwork," Aizawa said, walking in and quickly finishing the papers on the clipboard.

"I'll go file these and we will get you out of here with a small case of blood," the doctor said, walking out.

"A friend and fellow hero will take us to your place," he explained. "She'll be here in a few minutes since she lives not too far away."

The doctor came in and gave Toga a pair of sweats with a bigger t-shirt as well as the rest of the clothes she was wearing. We followed Aizawa to the entrance where he walked to a black car as a woman with long flowing black hair wearing a very revealing leotard and leather straps.

"Y-you're the hero Midnight," I said, my cheeks reddening. Stupid usless lesbian indeed.

"Yes, you're Izumi Midoriya right?" she purred.

"It's Shimura now. I changed to my mom's maiden name," I corrected.

"I just wanted to say that what happened to you was unfair and you deserved that spot," she said, putting her hand on my shoulders causing me to slightly flinch in pain. "Sorry, I forgot Eraser said you hurt your shoulder."

"It's alright."

"Um, what are they talking about Shimura?" Toga asked.

"Oh, um, I got rejected from UA's hero course because I'm quirkless," I said.

"Why would they do that? Why are quirks the only thing important to society?" she pouted.

"That's a good question, also you can call me Izumi, my last name is a bit long," I said.

"Then call me Himiko," she said.

"Awe, so cute I can just eat you both up," Midnight cooed with a smirk that didn't match her words or tone.

"I need an adult," I said.

"I am an adult," Midnight retorted.

"Let's get them home. Shimura said she lives in the Kamino ward so just tell us when to stop," Aizawa said, getting in the passenger's seat.

The rest of us loaded in and I explained how to get to my apartment. The ride there was filled with Midnight and Himiko making innuendoes and Aizawa and I both sighing at their antics. We pulled up and everyone but Midnight got out.

"Alright, show me your apartment," Aizawa said.

"W-why?" I asked.

"I just want to make sure you aren't lying about a couple of things," he said.

"I can't wait to see where I'm going to be staying for now," Himiko said.

"Alright, but it isn't much," I said, walking up to my door on the second floor and opening it.

On the left wall were three mini fridges, my air mattress, and a wagon I juked up. On the right was a desk with gear, a desk with a small alchemy set, a door to the bathroom, and a small chest with some of my Prowler gear while the rest was hidden in different places.

"Why three mini fridges?" Aizawa asked.

"I can pull less power than a full fridge and have just as much if not more space. I'll probably get another one for Himiko's blood," I said.

"Where do you get them?" Himiko asked.

"Dagobah beach. There's a ton of trash so I just find stuff and fix it up. Most of what I have is from doing that," I said.

"How do you get it here?" Aizawa asked, confused.

"I put a motor on that wagon so I can pull heavier things with less energy. It was one of my first inventions."

"Hmm, alright. I guess you're good. I might check in occasionally," he said, walking out and jumping to the ground.

"What was that about?" Himiko asked.

I guess it wouldn't be bad to have a confidant. "Do you know who stopped you from hurting me too badly?" I asked.

"Um, wasn't it the Prowler who knocked me out?"

"You're right, I did."

"Oh, so you're the Pr-," she started.

"No, I just make their gear," I said, winking.

"O-oh, alright," she said, smirking. "So, just the air mattress?"

"I'll sleep on the floor, you can take it. I'll get to work on some bunk beds tomorrow along with the mini fridge," I said, mentaly making a note and designing it. Where will I get two mattresses? I can't take them from the dump or beach as they would be too bad.

"No need, we can just share," Himiko said, grabbing my arm and pulling me to the mattress. She turned it on and pulled the blanket over both of our bodies.

"U-um, i-isn't this i-intimate?" I asked, remembering the only person I had ever shared a bed with was my crush and the twin sister of my tormentor.

"Hmm, not really. You saved me by taking me to the hospital, who knows what would've happened if I stayed in that alley for just another day or two?" Himiko said, thinking out loud. "Also this is a lot warmer and more comfortable."

Why must I be a useless lesbian and just think about how wrong that could sound instead of how true it is? I thought, closing my eyes.

For the first night I slept peacefully without nightmares. I woke up and realized that Himiko was cuddling me from behind. I snuck out of her arms and grabbed the wagon heading out to get the mini fridge. I walked the long way and eventually got to the beach after an hour. I started going through the trash looking for one when a voice called out to me.

"Izumi!?" the female voice asked.

"Katsumi?" I asked, turning around to see my first(and still current) crush Katsumi Bakugou standing at the stairs down to the beach wearing a skin tight black bodysuit with red and orange lines. Her eyes were covered by a domino mask with an orange outline and her straight blonde hair was held in a low ponytail as it wasn't flowing behind her.

"I haven't seen you in ages," she said, running up and giving me a hug.

"Y-yeah. H-how's K-Kacchan?" I asked.

"A dick like normal. We both made it into the Hero course. He's in 1-A and I'm in 1-C. We're currently doing temporary internships with heroes. I'm working with Midnight and Katsuki is with Best Jeanist," she said.

"That will either end terribly or amazingly," I said. "Wait, you said you were working with who?"

"Hello again," a sultry voice said from behind me.

"Help," I said, staring Katsumi in the eyes.

"Don't worry, I'll tone down the R-18 for now," Midnight said, walking around me. "How's Toga?"

"She went to sleep as soon as we got to my apartment. I'm actually looking for a mini fridge for her medication," I said, winking.

"Ah, alright. So you know Uzume?" Midnight asked.

"You actually used my idea?" I asked, looking at Katsumi who blushed a bit and scratched her cheek.

"Well, it does fit my quirk perfectly," she said.

"Well, we grew up together, until I moved after my mom died," I said.

"Awe, that's cute, well we need to get back to patrolling but it was good to see you again," Midnight said, winking before turning and strutting, moving her hips in a hypnotic pattern.

"See you Izumi," Katsumi said, following the pro.

"Yeah, see ya," I whispered. I then turned and got back to looking for a mini fridge. I dug through until I finally found one that wasn't too broken and would take me but an hour to fix when I got back. I loaded it up in my wagon and started the trek back. I brought it back and carried it up the stairs to my door and opened it.

"Hey, you're back," Himiko said, sitting down and reading one of the few books I had.

"Yeah, wanted to get this as soon as possible," I explained, pulling the wagon with the fridge in it in the apartment.

"Oh, is that for me?" she asked.

"Yeah, but the plug is broken so I need to fix it a bit," I said, grabbing a couple tools.

I got to work and Himiko watched. After about an hour I finished up and plugged it in. I set it to the temperature for blood.

Aizawa POV-

"So, have you had a run in with the Prowler?" Nezu asked, sitting at his desk.

"Yeah, and honestly I can say that UA failed them as badly as we could," I sighed.

"What do you mean?" Nezu asked.

"Honestly, for someone as intelligent as yourself I'm amazed you haven't figured out who it is. Look at the list of those who didn't make it into the hero course and figure it out on your own," I said, turning to leave. "I'm going to keep patrolling the Kamino ward and keep them safe. They might not be my student but I won't let the kid try to take anything they can't handle. They've gotten lucky so far, but luck won't get you out of everything," I said, walking out.

"So, not going to tell him you're keeping tabs on you know who?" Nemuri asked as I walked out.

"I'm pretty sure both the rat and they know. I just hope they don't try to get more attention. What they've gotten so far is from them just doing what is right so if they try to get attention it might be too much for us to handle quietly and they will get involved."

"Eh, Hawks isn't that bad."

"I'm worried they might send the other one."

"Isn't she in Tartrus?"

"You think they won't make a deal to take them out quietly?"

AN-

And that's a wrap! This chapter has gone through four rewrites, three plot changes, and over thirty percent was moved to the next chapter as I wanted to limit how much information was given and not. I've also decided that this will be taking a different turn from my original idea during the LOV raid after something that was pointed out by one of my friends who acts as a beta for me. Follow, favorite, comment and kudos. Have a great day and remember, you are Amazing!
