Just a little bonding for them all and a snippet of Hawkeye goodness. Last chapter, small epilogue tomorrow and this is done. As it stands i've barely written any of the next instalment due to work so I don't know whether i may just keep this the last one.

"Well that's cute." Carol looked at the sleeping pair on the couch. Kate was on her back, she had on some shorts she slept in and a basketball shirt and her had her arms wrapped around Wanda who was laying on her stomach on top of Kate between Kate's legs with her head tucked under the archers chin and her arms loosed around Kate's middle.

"Doesn't that bother you both though?" Carol asks then looking at Nat and Yelena who were unbagging the food they'd just bought home.

"The first time kind of caught us off guard. Ended with a bit of an argument. But not really. They've kind of been like that since we all moved in together." Natasha offered honestly. Carol looked curious.

"The first time was a me and Nat shopping day. Kate was a bit banged up from the night before so when they were watching their silly shows and talking, I dunno. It was just their moment I guess." Yelena's explanation was a little vague.

"Ok what she means is they were just talking and bonding. Kate was sore and stiff and wanted to lay down. There was a hug involved and then they just ended up getting comfortable. It was their moment cause before then they were just… Kate and Wanda. Now they're sisters. They're really close these days so we kind of just accept it for what it is. It's cute." Natasha chuckled as Yelena wrinkled her nose at clearly not having explained too well.

"It is cute." Carol admitted with a little chuckle.

"It is. Wanna see what's cuter?" Natasha asks with a grin.

"Yes I do." Carol didn't even hesitate and Nat nudged Yelena who rolled her eyes but stood up.

"Go pick up Wanda without waking Kate." Nat ordered Carol who tilted her head but did as she was told.

It took her a moment to figured out just how to go around getting Wanda picked up because Carol decided to slide her hand between the women, palm against Wanda's abdomen. Her other hand gently braced the witch at the side and thanks only to her super human strength she lifted Wanda gently yet easily and also turned the witch towards her. What happened next was not intentional on Nat and Yelena's part, but it was better.

Wanda shifted sleepily, wrapping her arms around Carols strong shoulders and then dragging herself against the woman and wrapping her legs around her hips as well then lazily dropped her head on Carols shoulder and let out a content sigh all without opening her eyes. Nat and Yelena watched wide eyed and in unison they grabbed their phones from their pockets and took a photo of Wanda draped over Carol.

"Oh my god." Nat mumbled looking awed.

"That's freaking adorable." Yelena's tone was hushed.

"It is. But do the thing." Natasha came back to herself even as Carol stood there holding Wanda too her as if she were little more than a child.

Yelena moved around the sofa and lay down carefully over Kate like Wanda had been. Except this time Kate's response was immediate and entirely different. No sooner had Yelena touched Kate was the archer wrapping herself around her. Kate nuzzled right into Yelena and held on tight like she was afraid she'd leave again.

"My little spider." Kate murmured in her sleep.

"Oh. Ok that is cute." Carol chuckled.

"Which is lucky because I was so comfortable." Wanda mumbled tiredly against Carols neck, she was clearly awake.

"Sorry. She was asking about you and Kate and we thought we'd show her SpiderKate." Nat walked around behind Carol who stood still.

Wanda blinked her eyes opened and smiled lazily at the assassin as Nat smiled back at her fondly. Natasha leaned up and pressed a light kiss to Wanda's lips causing the woman to smile a little brighter.

"Carol and Lena went and got food. Come eat because Melina and Alexei will be here with Cass soon and if food isn't had now you won't get any." Natasha grinned lightly even as she put her hand on Carols bum and used guiding her as an excuse for doing so.

Carol laughed, though not because of Natasha and Wanda's exchange but because the moment Alexeis name was mentioned in the same sentence as 'food' the archers eyes popped open and she scowled. Yelena chuckled as well as she turned her head to see the look on Kate's face as the others moved towards the kitchen island.

"What are you thinking?" Yelena asked fondly.

"Wondering if I'm just too comfortable to get up right now or if I'm going to regret it if I don't get something to eat and then your dad gets here and I miss out completely." Kate explained in a sleep roughened voice.

"I mean… I'm sure I could find you something to eat later if you miss out." Yelena actually purred the words in Kate's ear and the younger woman whined.

"That's not helping!" Kate huffed and Yelena just laughed and helped her wife up off of the sofa.

"Come and eat. I got you that burger thing you like." Yelena had a little grin on her face.

"Best wife ever." Kate cooed happily as the pair made their way to the island where the other three were already sitting taking up three of the 4 chairs. Kate moved and sat on Wanda's knee and Yelena took the last seat between Wanda and Natasha.

"Don't you forget it." Yelena winked at Kate grinned brightly and the others chuckled.

"So, how does it feel?" Clint asked Kate later that night.

"Hm?" Kate looked from the street below to Clint Barton. They were both in their Hawkeye gear.

"Married life?" Clint asks smiling at his protégé.

"You should know you've been in this game longer than I have." Kate rolled her eyes amused.

The pair stood on a building overlooking New York. Carol was with Natasha and Wanda and Yelena meeting the rest of Nat's family properly and likely being told all the stories Alexei had told so often. Clint however had suggested to Kate that they suit up and head out one last time before he and his family head back to Missouri. Kate had jumped at the chance as he knew she would.

"Are you doing alright? I mean last night was…" Clint trailed off and Kate sighed.

"It really sucks honestly. But you wanna know something?" Kate looked from the cityscape before her to the man she had idolised for half her life.

"Go on." Clint urged gently.

"Even if I could have known this is how things would have played out. I'd still do what I did. I'd have still made that call. That's who I am. It sucks she can't really accept me that way. It extra sucks that she came after Yelena. But it's telling as well." Kate half smiles though her expression was a little sad.

"Telling?" Clint wasn't sure he understood.

"I never mattered to her. Not really. After dad died she changed. She can use all the excuses she likes. But she told me she knew what I was like, and that I wouldn't have been able to handle a lower class life. But she never knew me at all. She made me what she thought I was but I'm not that. I'm me, and I'm going to help the little guy even if I had had to live on the streets. All I needed was my family. She made the wrong choices and she isn't it anymore but I really think I got the better end of the deal." Kate shrugged.

Clint looked at her, really looked at her and then smiled.

"I think you got it figured out kid. You got a spunky wife. A huge Russian family and you're always going to have Laura and Me." Clint clapped her on the shoulder gently.

"So tell me really. How did you pull up after last night? You were really drunk when Yelena took you home." Clint added amused and Kate scoffed.

"Oh don't even. I barely remember anything before they took Wanda off me this morning. After that though I distinctly remember my wife propositioning me for sex so I really don't know why I'm standing on this cold ass building with you." Kate wrinkled her nose and Clint just laughed. He was aware of the WandaKate friendship so didn't even question that comment.

"I'm honoured. Your wife offered you sex and you're out here with me." Clint was grinning playfully.

"I'm only here because of the bow." Kate rolled her eyes and turned to make her way to the fire escape so they could get off the roof.

"The bow which I gave you, so you came out here for me. I'm touched." Clint was still teasing.

Kate just laughed and pressed a little button on her new which collapsed it down to a size and style that clipped straight onto the front of Hawk-suit. It had been her favourite wedding present in all honesty.

"Let's just go, Hawkear."

"What was that?" Clint sassed putting a hand to his ear as though he hadn't heard. Kate poked her tongue out at him as she grabbed the rope fastened to the fire escape and then dropped out of sight.
