I own the rights to this story, I made the leading Kaiju hero myself and any human character that came along with it.
Chapter 2: The Thunderbird Ascends
(Deep Space)
Deep in the far reaches of space, the Space Rescue Fleet, Valeria, set a course for the Axalor's homing signal. Misato looked at the galaxy before her, fearing not just for Ryrosuke, but for his crew as well. A call soon came to her attention, but she ignored it knowing exactly who it was. Akiza, her second in command, checked the hailing frequency and looked towards Misato. "Commander, it's the Council." She informed her.
"Ignore them Akiza… we need to focus on the task at hand." Misato replied to her.
Trying to ignore the frequency, the frequency wasn't going away as she looked over to Misato. "They're being persistent, commander. I'm trying everything I can to block it, but they're overriding my algorithms." She informed her.
Instantly at that moment, the High Council appeared on screen to speak to her. "Commander Shirogane, you departed without authorization, and have violated our law, and must therefore turn the Valeria around immediately." The Head Councilman ordered.
"Did my words not get through your thick skulls? I'm going to save Ryosuke and his crew, and if you so much as try to stop me, consider a missile fired straight up your asses, you democratic hypocrites! I don't care about your rules, and I'm not asking permission! I will find Ryosuke, and you can just stay out of my way!" She turned off the frequency out of anger as she sighed.
"Pretty sure that's gonna come back to bite you in the ass, commander." Akiza commented.
"I don't care, strengthen your algorithms, triple encrypt the system, make sure they don't get any ideas." She ordered as she walked towards the window. She looked at the galaxy, knowing Ryosuke and his team would be waiting for her. "Hang in there Ryosuke… I'm coming." She whispered.
As Akiza worked on the system, she soon turned towards Misato with a worried expression. "Commander, are you even sure he and his crew are still alive?" She asked her.
"They're alive… Ryosuke is the best soldier I ever taught at the Garrison. Chad of course was a sleazeball trying to do everything his way, and not the way we learned when we first joined." She explained to her as she remembered their first day at the Garrison and looked out. "If Ryosuke can pull his crew through whatever planet they're on, they'll do it exactly how I trained him."
Suddenly, one of the technicians got a signal from the Axalor and looked towards Misato. "Commander, we just picked up the Axalor's distress signal, it's not too far from our position." He informed her.
"Chart our course to that signal, I want to get to Ryosuke and his crew before anything unexpected happens." She ordered as everyone got to work getting the ship moving as she looked out. "Almost there… just wait for us Ryosuke, we'll be there soon." She muttered.
(Sephoria, Axalor)
Within the medical wing of the Axalor, the medical team examined the crystal that was embedded in Ryosuke's chest as he laid across a medical bed. They scanned through his anatomy to see if it was dangerous or not. "No radiation, that's a good sign. But it's amazing how he was able to survive it, not only that, but your body temperature is way off the charts." Said the lead medic as she noticed his body heat, a female doctor that removed her mask not fearing the risk of radiation exposure. This was Doctor Elisabeth Rose, head of medical research, and best medical doctor you would want on your ship. Both in knowledge, and her amazing figure as she had a DD cup, and perfect hourglass hips. "But the question remains, how did you turn into a kaiju in the first place?" She asked.
"Your guess is as good as mine doc… one minute I'm feeling intense pain, the next thing I know, I'm a kaiju, fighting off that Tyrannotaur." Ryosuke replied as he sat up as he looked at the crystal in his chest. "How I reverted back is another mystery, I'm mostly concerned whether or not this will affect me mentally, or physically." He suggested.
"Why don't we ask the princess and find out?" Elizabeth suggested as she noticed Sylvia watching through the glass of the medical room.
Seeing her, Ryosuke got off the medical bed and walked over to his shirt and jacket and put them on to cover the crystal. Sylvia watched as he stepped out of the room and approached her. "How are you feeling?" She asked him.
"Like there's a forest fire within my body." He replied and looked at her. "But I'll be fine… the doctor says you might have the answers I seek as to why I survived this crystal." He gestured to his chest. "And why I turned into Garoma." He said.
Sylvia looked at him and looked down to his chest as she reached to it and moved his jacket aside and pulled up his shirt looking at the crystal as it glowed within him. She knew the answer, but she knew that the answers were not here as she looked at him. "The answers you seek lie in a village not far from here." She informed him.
"If that's the case, then we better assemble my team and get moving." He suggested, but the two were soon lost in each other's eyes as they couldn't help but look at each other. All of a sudden he heard a throat clear and looked to his right seeing it was Blair and Jaden as they stared at them with devious smirks.
"So, how long do you intend to keep fondling his chest there, Princess?" Blair asked her.
"Because if you're a little busy, we can leave you two alone for a bit." Jaden said to them, smirking.
The two looked at each other as their faces began to turn red and they pulled away as Ryosuke pushed his shirt down and cleared his throat as Sylvia moved her hair back behind her ear. "We should probably get going." Ryosuke suggested as he looked at Sylvia. "After you, princess." He gestured to her to lead the way.
She nodded in response and walked away. Jaden watched Ryosuke approach and quickly wrapped his arm around his neck. "You sly dog, you and the princess are already hitting it off?" He asked him.
"It's not like that, Jaden." The young captain replied in complete denial.
This response quickly got an amused chuckle from Blair as she nudged him. "Nice try captain, but I saw the way you looked at her. You two couldn't look away from each other, so why deny it?" She asked him.
"We only just met, Blair. Furthermore, she's a princess of a world we know nothing about, I'm the captain of a broken down ship. We're two different people." He explained and walked away.
But Blair, holding onto her mischievous grin, letting out a chuckle while crossing her arms in front of her. "Yeah, keep telling yourself that, Mr. Heartbreaker." She said as she followed him along with Jaden, and the two laughed together, knowing Ryosuke wasn't going to live this down.
(Sephorian Village)
As Ryosuke and his team traveled with the princess to the village she spoke of, along the way, Jirou soon heard loud snoring as he looked out, seeing the largest bear he had ever seen. An Ursus, a monstrous sized bear the size of a mountain. "Whoa… that's one bear I don't want to mess with." He commented.
Sylvia chuckled as she glanced his way. "Don't worry, Ursus is actually the village's loyal guard. As long as you don't provoke him, he won't hurt you." She told him as she led Ryosuke and his team to the village. Jirou looked back towards Ursus, and stuck his tongue out at him, only to see his claws dig into the ground from hearing it. He panicked and ran after the others as Ursus looked towards where he went, but ignored him knowing he scared him good. Approaching the village, Ryosuke noticed the size of the wall, and the thickness of it. "This is it, this is the village I spoke of." Sylvia informed them.
"A little overboard with the defense, don't you think, princess?" Colin asked her.
"They are a cautious group, but I promise, they are good people." She assured him as she approached the gates. "We have come to see Lady Yuki!" She announced to the guards atop the wall.
The team looked up to the guard post and saw the guard, what stunned them most, was that it was an armored Kirin. Jaden was surprised as he facepalmed from seeing it. "You're kidding me, we came to a village filled with horned horses?" He asked as the Kirin guard growled and changed its form to a humanoid form that immediately stunned him as the other guard took on a similar form.
Shawn saw this and smirked seeing Jaden's jaw dropped. "You were saying?" He asked as he forced his mouth to close. The gates began to open as a group of Kirin folk appeared within the gate, stepping out of the crowd as the leader of their society stepped forward to greet their visitors.
Colin looked towards the leader and was stunned immediately, this was Lady Yuki. Her hair was whitish blue, her skin was light blue and scaly like that of a coy fish. She wore a light purple dress with violet trim, and a crystal that was pure sapphire. He was amazed by how beautiful she was as he couldn't look away. She smiled at her guests and bowed to them. "Welcome Princess Sylvia, we're happy to see you are safe." She said to her.
Sylvia bowed to her respectfully. "Thank you Lady Yuki." She replied and stood up straight with the kirin leader and looked towards Ryosuke and his team. "It is thanks to my new friends that I was able to survive." She mentioned while Yuki looked amongst them.
She immediately recognized Ryosuke and walked over to him as he began to tense up, knowing this is by far, the first interaction with an actual humanoid. She walked up to him and looked at him carefully, a smile formed across her face as she pulled away from him. "So this is the boy you told me about, Anya?" She asked one of her fellow Kirin as Anya approached. Ryosuke notices her and recognizes her as the Kirin who helped him get away from the Tyrannotaurs that chased him.
"Yes your grace, he is a gentle soul, like I said." She assured her.
"Indeed… in fact." Yuki looked back to Jaden as she sensed something from him. "He may be even more than we see him as." She said as she approached him and reached for his shirt, grabbing it and pulling the collar down, showing the crystal within his chest. The village gasped in surprise upon seeing this, Ryosuke's team looked to one another as they looked upon their captain, as did Yuki who looked upon him with a look of hope on her face. "So… the rumors are true, Garoma has returned." She said, smiling at the young captain.
Hearing it, Ryosuke needed answers, and he needed them now. "Your grace, who, and what is Garoma…?" He informed her of what he and his people knew.
Yuki nodded in understanding as she removed her hand from his shirt. "Come with us, your answers lie within the temple in our village." She told him as she led him inside with his team and Sylvia.
As they entered the village, Jirou and Shawn looked amongst the locals seeing everything they've accomplished in this village. But they also couldn't help but eye the females of the species, for some were very attractive, and the female Kirin's couldn't help but giggles as Shawn smirked from seeing it and glanced towards Jirou. "Even a reject like you could get lucky around here." He jokes.
"I wish." Jirou replied.
"Doubt it." Jaden commented as they walked towards the temple.
Yuki led them inside as some of the team gasped in awe from seeing the interior, seeing images, references, even statues of kaiju they never saw before. Ryosuke looked at each individual kaiju, and looked towards the statue of Garoma in the center of the room. Even Blair was amazed by it. "Wow, someone's popular." She commented.
"Garoma has always been our most sacred guardian, he and others like him, fought for one thing they had in common. Peace through the universe. But… they didn't always think that way." Yuki explained as she looked towards the statue. "8,000 years ago, Garoma was once a primal beast, fighting for territory, destroying any kaiju that got in his way. When he reached your world, he and his followers raged through it to the Greek Pantheon." She mentioned.
Shawn was surprised when he heard it. "The Greek Pantheon? You mean the Gods of Olympus?" He asked.
"The same… they planned to fight against Garoma and his kaiju, knowing it would be a losing battle." Yuki explained as Sylvia stepped forward.
"But that was when Queen Amalia of Thebes, stepped between the two factions, and pleaded with them not to fight. That war was not the way… and when Garoma looked upon her, he saw not just the beauty of a woman, but the potential of what humans were capable of." She explained.
"The war was close to ending, but…" Yuki lowered her gaze.
Colin noticed this and added it together. "But there was an uprising, wasn't there?" He asked them.
"Yes… few rebelling Kaiju wanted to continue the war, because they believed peace would only make them weak. That in the universe, only the strong should rule." Sylvia explained.
"So, Garoma, a few of his remaining followers, fought against the rebel kaiju, with aid from the Olympian Gods. Many gods and Kaiju fell that day, but the Dark Ones, as we call them, were defeated, and your body and souls were sealed within crystals, never to be unleashed upon the world. Garoma returned to the world of his birth, along with Queen Amalia." Yuki explained as she looked at the crystal in Ryosuke's chest. "He requested that he be sealed as well, along with his companions."
"For he feared that the Dark Ones would try to escape, that the universe will once again need saving." Sylvia told them as she touched the statue. "Amalia and Zeus granted his request, and Garoma along with all his companions, were sealed within crystals, and were scattered across the universe, hidden in safe havens, where no one would find them." She explained and looked towards Ryosuke. "Until now."
Everyone was amazed by all the information they were given, but one thing immediately hit Ryosuke with the realization of what he learned. "Queen Amalia, she was your ancestor, isn't she?" He asked her.
Sylvia nodded her head in response. "Yes, which would in fact make me half human, half Sephorian." She told him as she gently smiled and looked away. "That's okay, right?" She asked as she looked up towards him.
Seeing this as he blushed, Ryosuke adjusted his collar trying to keep cool. "Y-Yes, yes… it's totally fine." He assured her only to get a goofy grin from both Jaden and Blair as they know he's getting hot under the collar.
But something eventually caught Jaden's attention as he walked over to one of the statues as Ryosuke cleared his throat and looked towards Yuki. "Your grace, what still troubles me… is why did Garoma pick me…? Ever since this crystal." He reached to his chest and touched it. "I've been… different." He said.
"You are different, yes. But at the same time, you're still you. Your soul, and that of Garoma, are one and the same, they have intertwined with each other. You and Garoma, are one. This power you've been given, can either be a blessing… or a curse. The decision is up to you, Ryosuke Kanbara." She told him.
Ryosuke looked at her, amazed by her wisdom as he looked down to the crystal in his chest, knowing it would be a lot to handle. Jaden meanwhile walked over to the statue he saw and his eyes widened recognizing it as he turned towards Ryosuke. "Uhh, Ryo… you might want to take a look at this." He told him as Ryosuke noticed and walked over with the others.
His eyes widened in shock as he saw a statue of the bird that attacked them before their arrival on Sephoria. He turned towards Yuki as his eyes changed from brown to bluish green. "Why is there a statue of this creature here?" He asked her.
Surprised by his tone as she looked up towards the statue, her eyes widened as she looked at him with fear in her eyes. "How do you know about it?" She asked him.
"It attacked us when we were traveling through deep space. We thought it was another vessel heading our way, but we didn't expect it to be… this." He gestures to the statue. "We managed to shoot it down… but it fell to this planet with us." He explained.
Yuki's fears had been realized as she looked to her guards. "Guards, send out a patrol for the Dark One, and ready our defenses, immediately." She ordered.
"Yes, your grace." The Guards rushed out.
Colin approached her to get some answers. "Lady Yuki, what is going on? What is this creature?" He asked her.
"The Dark One here is Karasu, he is an assassin, ruthless and cunning. If he is freed, it is likely someone freed him." She explained.
(Meanwhile)
A group of Kirin Guards traveled through the jungle searching for Karasu, looking for any signs of him, broken or burnt trees, a crater even, and with luck, the spotted smoke up ahead. They walked towards it to investigate, once they reached the crater's edge, they looked inside seeing how massive it was. "This is the place, but there's no sign of Karasu." Said a guard.
"If the outlanders shot it out of the sky, it couldn't have gone far." Said the other guard and looked at his fellow guard. "We must report back to Lady Yuki, and tell her what we've discovered." He told him only to hear something as he turned sharp and aimed his spear. He and his fellow guard looked around the area.
Sweat beading down their faces as they looked around, a twig was heard being stepped on that drew their attention. They were in a panic as they slowly turned around, their eyes widened in horror as Karasu revealed himself and snarled as he lunged at them, hearing them scream as they were quickly devoured by the giant raven looking bird.
(Kirin Village)
Back at the village, Ryosuke had ordered his entire crew and all the cadets to get to the village from the Axalor, for their own safety. With Karasu out there, he could still be hunting them. Sylvia approached him as she watched his crew walk into the village and looked at him. "You traveled with so many." She said, as she looked out. "But being a leader must be hard for you."
"There have been moments when it was hard, but they're a good crew, the cadets can be a bit hard to handle. But it's what's in their hearts that count." He explained.
A smile formed over Sylva's face as she looked out. "I understand completely the pressures of leadership, but with enough time and training, they will learn to respect you, not fear you." She said, glancing towards him as she smiled.
Ryosuke looked towards her upon hearing it, and smiled as he looked and saw Shawn approaching. "What's the news Shawn?" He asked.
"Everyone from the Axalor has been evacuated and has been relocated, the search party for Reaver has not reported in yet. It's more than likely they have discovered Karasu, and were likely captured… or worse." He suggested.
Sylvia held her hand over her chest knowing that may be the possibility and looked towards Shawn. "Report to Lady Yuki, she will need to hear about this as soon as possible." She ordered as he nodded his head and headed for the temple as Ryosuke pulled out a pair of binoculars and looked towards the fields. "If Karasu is out there, then we need to get you prepared." She told Ryosuke as he looked towards her.
"Ready…? For what…?" He asked her.
"You know more about Garoma than you did before, you haven't had time to learn how to transform." She told him as he looked at her surprised. "Which is why we need to get you prepared before anything happens. Come with me." She led the way as Ryosuke followed after her. She led him to an open area where it is large and safe enough for them to be. An open field, lush and green, no local wildlife to endanger.
Ryosuke looked around, seeing it was so peaceful here. Hard to imagine this world could have more beauty than that of Earth. "So… how do I control this transformation…? Is there a secret to this?" He asked her.
"Where power lies, there is a source to that power. When you first felt the crystal touch your chest, what did it feel like…?" She asked him.
Thinking about it, Ryosuke thought back to the moment he felt it. He reached his hand over the crystal, feeling the warmth it was giving off as he closed his eyes. "Almost like a fire… an eternal flame that will never go out." He explained as he opened his eyes and looked at her.
"Yes, and it is that flame you must search for, inside yourself." She pointed at his chest, referring to his heart. Looking at his chest, Ryosuke closed his eyes to concentrate. To find the flame within him, he concentrated all his efforts to finding it as his body soon started to glow. But before he could proceed, the energy around him formed into a ball and combusted against his body as it forced him to fall back and hit the ground. He groaned in pain from it as he held his chest while Sylvia sighed and walked over to him. "Tell me, what did you do wrong…?" She asked him.
Sitting up, despite feeling so much pain, Ryosuke thought about what he did wrong. "I'm not sure… I think-"
"Exactly!" Sylvia shouted, interrupting him. "You were thinking… you thought too hard about the experience. When you first transformed, it was painful for you to go through. You weren't prepared last time, because you were too focused on getting out of the cave. But now, you have the chance to harness this power, make it yours… now try again. But take it slow… don't rush it." She told him, he looked at her then looked at his hands. He was about to think about it, but he realized it would have been better not to think, otherwise the power would backlash like it did before as he closed his eyes to focus his energy. Sylvia watched carefully and looked to his hands, seeing them starting to tremble a bit.
Her eyes began to widen a bit, seeing his hands glowing as they grew in size, scales forming around his hands and claws growing from the tip of his fingers. He opened his eyes and saw the glow disappear and saw his hands had become that of Garoma's. "Whoa… that is… something." He commented.
"Yes, you started off small. That's a good start, but don't get cocky. Power like this can be unpredictable, and the other guardians will possess different powers and abilities." Sylvia explained.
Ryosuked watched as his hands slowly reverted to normal and looked at her. "I guess there is so much I need to learn… one thing I do know is that in order to fight monsters, I need to become one, even if it took me so long to practice." He said.
"Exactly, and once you have gotten proper control over transformation, you will be able to control the transformation willingly." She told him as she placed a hand on his as she gently grasped it. "I know you can do it, you're smart, brave… and you care for others." She said, smiling at him.
Ryosuke looked at her as his cheeks turned a bit red from her touch and his ears began to burn as he calmly pulled his hand away and rubbed his neck. "R-Right, thank you, princess. Of course, I would have been able to get this far without you." He admitted.
She giggled as she playfully patted his shoulder. "You'd be lucky if you didn't. Now, try again, and this time… think bigger." She told him.
A small chuckle came out of Ryosuke as he looked towards her. "You are royalty, who am I to argue?" He asked as he got up to his feet to continue practicing his transformations.
(Meanwhile)
At the temple, Jaden spent most of his hours learning more from the statues of the Guardians who fought against the Dark Ones. Garoma did indeed impress him, but the others were just as intriguing. One being that of a humanoid wolf that had the wing membrane of a flying squirrel, and the quills of a porcupine. "You're an interesting one, aren't you…?" He asked as he walked over to a statue that was of a massive reptilian gorilla, though it did not have the face of one, the body was in fact very masculine for one as its forearms were large enough to crush any creature. "Boy, Jirou would certainly like you for a sparring partner." He commented.
"This one's interesting." Blair said as Jaden jumped upon hearing her as he turned to see her as he sighed trying to calm himself from the unexpected scare. She giggled from seeing it as she placed her hand on her hip. "Didn't mean to scare you babe… I was just admiring this statue here." She gestured to one of the female guardian as Jaden walked up, he looked upon the guardian's appearance, noticing she had the form of a sea warrior, almost mermaid-like, but she had a long serpentine tail, despite having a slim figure, she looked fierce. "Remind you of someone?" She asked him.
Jaden let out an amused chuckle as he looked towards her. "Yeah, you… if you were an all powerful alien." He said to her as he got a playful nudge from her as he and Blair laughed together. He eventually looked upon the next statue that piqued his interest immediately, he walked over to it seeing it was. It was a humanoid thunderbird, massive wings, and sharp claws. He can't help but feel intrigued by the avion kaiju as he looked at it. "Now there's a creature I can relate to." He said with a smile.
"Him?" Blair asked him as she walked up looking at the avion kaiju.
"He is a creature that was born to fly… me? I live to fly." Jaden said as he looked at it. His eyes suddenly widened as his smile eventually faded as he saw a vision. In the vision, he saw clear blue skies, felt the wind blowing against his face as he saw the massive thunderbird fly around him and turn towards him with its eyes glowing neon green. It let out a shriek as Jaden snapped out of the vision and back away.
Blair saw it surprised and touched his shoulder. "Babe…? Are you all right…?" She asked him.
Panting from what he saw, Jaden looked to his girlfriend as sweat was dripping down his face. "Please tell me you saw that." He said.
"Saw what…?" She asked.
"That vision, I saw the same bird in it." He gestured to the statue. "But it was alive, it soared through the skies, it was… incredible." He said.
Worried about him, Blair held his face with both hands. "Babe, maybe it's best we leave this place. You've been here way too long." She told him as they started walking out, but she turned back towards the statue of the avion kaiju, wondering if what he saw was in fact real.
Meanwhile, Jirou was busy practicing with one of the Kirin guards in terms of combat as he blocked his punches, he deflected a punch as he got behind him and grabbed hold of his head and pulled him straight down as he slammed on his back. The guard groaned from it as Jirou offered him a hand, the guard took it and got up with his help as Jirou chuckled. "All right, a move like that will disorient your opponent if you catch him off guard." He explained.
The guard exhaled as he wiped his sweat from his brow. "That is a good move, I'll have to remember that one." He said.
"Trust me, it'll save your life. Now, I'm going to attack, and you'll do what I just did, but remember, move fast." Jirou advised him as the guard nodded his head and stood ready. Jirou took on his fighting position and attacked the guard, but the Guard blocked his attacks and avoided his next punch as he got behind him, grabbing hold of his head, pulling him down as he slammed him to the ground, but the impact to the ground caused the ground to crack and crumble. Jirou let out a groan from the impact knowing it was painful.
The guard panicked as he kneeled down to him. "Jirou, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to use all my strength like that." He assured him.
"No, it's okay, it's all a part of training, to know your opponent's strength." Jirou told him as he got up with his help. "Besides, that's the hardest I've ever been knocked down." He admitted, only to hear a chuckle from Shawn as he looked towards him and said. "What do you find so funny?" He asked him.
"If you think that's the hardest you've ever been brought down, how about that time when I slammed your face on the ground and broke your nose?" Shawn asked him.
Jirou watched as some of the guards chuckled, even some of the female guards who couldn't help but giggle at his embarrassment. But this managed to infuriate Jirou as he shot a glare at Shawn and was about to yell, but someone stepped up behind him as he looked behind him and saw it was one of the female Kirin Guards. One could only describe her as a very, masculine female, who smirked at him as she crossed her arms together. "If you're calling that strength, then you should try me." She offered.
Jirou didn't know whether or not to be flattered, or afraid. This female kirin was twice his size, and could barely utter a single world to her. He gulped as he stood up and looked up towards her. "Well, I just might… but it wouldn't be much of a fair fight." He said.
But the female chuckled as she started relieving herself of her armor revealing her masculine figure, and robust E-Cup Breasts that were wrapped tightly so she could wear her chest armor. "Don't worry, I'm a noble warrior. So I'll give you a fighting chance… and if you win, I'll pay for drinks.. But if you lose, you pay for them." She offered.
"Deal!" Jirou gladly accepted, Shawn sighed, knowing he was going to regret this as Jirou removed his shirt showing his own masculine build.
Jaden and Blair had arrived to see what was going on. "What have we here?" Jaden asked.
"Jirou thinks he's going to win against one of the female guards." Shawn explained as he sighed. "All to get some drinks and probably get laid." He commented.
"This should be interesting." Blair commented with a grin.
"And it should." Yuki walked up with Colin to watch the match. "Mira has always been our strongest warrior, she even single handedly fought off a neighboring tribe. With a spear in hand, she defeated each and every lizard warrior in her path, not a single scratch on her." She told them.
Jaden chuckled in amusement, finding it hard to believe. "Her? Taking on an entire armor of Lizardmen? That barely seems believable." He replied.
But Yuki merely smirked as she looked to the practice arena. "See for yourself." She told him as the team looked to the arena. Jirou and Mira took their fighting poses and prepared to combat each other. The bell soon rang as Jirou was quick to charge towards Mira, she anticipated this however, and diverted his first punch and grabbed him by his wrist, using his own strength against him by flipping him over as he screamed and hit the ground.
Everyone winced and groaned when they saw it happen, knowing that was quite painful. Jirou groaned from it as he shook his head. "Nice move, but you could have beaten me while I was down." He told her.
"It wouldn't have been fair of me, now would it?" Mira asked as she gestured to him to come at her.
He got back up and dusted himself off. "Whatever." He charged at her and went for another punch. Mira easily blocked his attacks, avoiding a roundhouse kick from him as she used her tail to snare his leg and trip him over. He panicked as he stumbled a bit and turned to her. "You call using your tail fair?" He asked her as he went for another strike.
She blocked his attacks as she kicked him with her cloven hoof, and went for a roundhouse kick and struck him against his neck, making him tumble over. "When it comes to battle, you must use every advantage against your opponents." She explained as she avoided a roundhouse kick from Jirou and slapped him hard as he cried out from it. She wrapped her arm around his neck and kept it tight as she held him in a headlock. Jirou choked and struggled to get out of her chokehold. "Say you yield." She told him.
But he refused to surrender as he continued the struggle, meanwhile his friends were enjoying this way too much as they watched him struggle to break out of the hold. "Guess you were right Lady Yuki, she is the best fighter here." Jaden commented.
"Was there any doubt?" Yuki asked him as Colin smirked and looked at the struggle. Jirou's face was slowly turning blue as he was slowly losing consciousness. Mira grinned as she was close to victory, but Jirou still had enough strength to grab hold of Mira, catching her off guard as he pulled hard enough to throw her over and slam her on the ground. Yuki was surprised as she watched Jirou pin her down, she struggled to get out of his hold, but he grabbed her by her wrists and pinned her arm behind her back as he kept her facing the ground.
She let out a grunt as he smirked at her. "Come on, even a woman strong as you can't break out of this hold." He told her.
"I'm betting I can… because I won't surrender to you." Mira struggled as Jirou kept her pinned down.
"Only way out now is to surrender, there is no shame in it." He said to her, feeling her struggle as she tried to get out of his hold. But an idea came to mind as she smirked and bumped her rear against his groin, causing his face to turn extremely red as a tomato as his grip loosened. Mira saw this opportunity and pulled her arms out as she spun around and threw him down onto the ground and got on top, pinning him as she grinned at him and said.
"Looks like you'll be buying the drinks tonight my friend." She said as he struggled, Jirou refused to give up as his friends laughed at his embarrassment.
Jaden laughed as he sat on the fence. "You might as well Jirou, like you said, there's no shame in surrendering." He said to him as he continued to laugh.
Jirou groaned knowing this was the most humiliating defeat of his entire career. "Okay, fine! FINE! You win!" He admitted defeat as Mira smiled and got off of him and helped him up.
"You put up a valiant fight, honestly, it's the first time anyone has ever lasted so long against me. In all my years, you've lasted longer than others who challenged me. That of course deserves a reward." She leaned and kissed him on his cheek, causing him to blush as she pulled away from him. "But you're still buying the drinks." She reminded him as she walked away, while the female kirin giggled and walked with her.
Shawn walked over with the others to Jirou who held his cheek as he was flustered from the kiss. "Uh-huh… looks like someone's got your number, Jirou." He said, smirking.
"Hey, if you're buying the drinks tonight, feel free to invite us." Blair said to him, giggling as she held Jaden's arm. But before Jirou could speak, the ground began to shake around them, the source of the trembling came from the West as everyone looked out and saw Garoma, finally in full form after a few moments of practice.
Yuki saw it and smiled upon seeing him appear before him and the village. "Garoma… Ryosuke has finally succeeded in learning how to transform." She said as she kneeled down and bowed with the entire village.
Garoma saw it as Ryosuke saw through his eyes, He held Sylvia in his hand as she looked at the village from such a high vantage point. She smiled as she could almost see the land around her. "This is incredible, I never thought I'd see the land from this vantage point." She said as she looked towards Garoma. "Ryosuke…" She smiled softly at him. "You did well after all that practice." She said to him, hearing a soft growl from him.
Jaden also smiled knowing he accomplished his way of transformation, but something immediately caught his eye as he looked at the sky, seeing something that was pitch black, and moving at top speed towards Garoma, his eyes widened seeing that it was Karasu and he looked towards Garoma. "RYOSUKE LOOK OUT!" He yelled as Garoma heard it and turned out, his eyes widened as Karasu shrieked and dashed past him and used his sharp wings to strike his torso, causing him to writhe and fall over as he let out a pain cry. Sylvia screamed as Garoma carefully held her in his hand and crashed on the ground.
The impact caused a gust of wind to flow through the village as everyone screamed as they shielded themselves from it. Colin quickly shielded Yuki from the wind that blew past them as she looked at him surprised, the wind soon died down as Karasu flew around the village as Garoma watched him flying and looked to Sylvia knowing she needed to be safe. He placed her on the ground close to the village and picked himself up from the ground and looked towards Karasu and roared out. Sylvia watched as he was preparing for battle as the team ran towards her. "Princess Sylvia, are you okay?" Yuki asked her.
"I'm all right… but it seems our fears have been realized." Sylvia told her as she looked out, seeing Karasu flying towards Garoma again as he reached out with his talons and swiped at him. Garoma blocked it with his arms as he snarled trying to swipe at him, but Karasu avoided his strikes to keep from his reach, he shrieked and slashed at him with his talons, cutting through his scales. He let out a painful cry feeling just how razor sharp they were, he snarled as he swung his tail at him, landing a powerful hit against Karasu's abdomen as he let out a painful shriek and crashed against the ground.
"That got him!" Jaden cheered, but Karasu got back up and folded his wings, forming a set of three claws on each hand. He shrieked and charged towards Garoma and took a swipe at him with his claws, cutting deep into his scaled flesh. Garoma winced from it as he soon felt a slash to his leg, causing him to kneel as he groaned from the pain he was feeling. Karasu leapt into the air and spread his wings, forming energy within his beak and blasting it at Garoma without mercy. Each shot hit Garoma as he let out painful cries from the blasts, he groaned from the attacks as he fell down, he tried to get back up as his friends watched helplessly from the village.
Karasu shrieked as he cackled with his eyes glowing red, he went in for the kill, but Garoma's eyes snapped open glaring as he swiped his claws upward and landed a hard uppercut against his beak, causing Karasu to cry out in pain as Garoma stepped up and snarled kicking his torso. He crashed against the ground and rolled across it, letting out a painful groan as he held his stomach. Garoma roared out as he walked towards the fallen raven and snarled, going to stomp him down, but Karasu rolled away as he got back up as he folded his wings and charged at him and went for a strike. But Garoma blocked his attacks remembering how sharp his claws were as he struck at his face, leaving four cuts against it as he snarled and repeatedly struck against the giant humanoid raven, dealing a great amount of damage against him as he swing his tail, slamming it against him as he shrieked and fell to the ground. Shawn watched this as he saw he was starting to win, but before Garoma could deal the finishing blow, Karasu got up and formed multiple clones of itself, causing Garoma to look around seeing the multitude of giant ravens that surrounded him. Shawn was shocked to see it happen as he looked at each of them. "Okay, now I'm starting to see why they are called the Dark Ones." He stated.
"There's no way he'll be able to take on all of them at once!" Blair exclaimed as Karasu clones struck at Garoma from different sides as he cried out trying to strike them, but they were too fast for him to strike as he kept getting struck by the clones, one by one as he cried out in pain from each slash.
"He's getting his tail kicked out there, there's gotta be something we can do! My jet is refueling, and the Axalor is miles away." Jaden stated, meanwhile Yuki watched as their guardian was being overwhelmed by the Karasu clones, but she soon felt something from Jaden as she felt a similar power from Ryosuke. She knew something needed to be done, so she ran to the temple knowing what rests inside. Jaden noticed this and followed after her, as she ran into the temple, she kneeled to the statue of the avion guardian and opened a secret compartment. Revealing a crystal inside as Jaden arrived. "Lady Yuki, why did you…?" He was about to ask only to see her holding the green crystal in her hands.
She stood up and looked towards him with the crystal and walked to him. "Jaden… when you first looked upon Avios, you saw something, did you not?" She asked him, seeing him nod his head in response as she held out the crystal. "Then it's possible that you have been chosen to become the host Avios, you are a skilled flier, and a noble friend to Ryosuke. As were Garoma and Avios before they sealed away, which is why they were sealed together on our planet." She explained as the crystal began to glow.
Jaden saw it surprised as electric energy began to spark from the crystal, he reached out to it as the crystal reacted to his presence and shot straight into his chest, causing him to grunt in pain as he held his chest from it. He groaned as he quickly got up and ran out of the temple, his form slowly started to change as his face formed a beak, his arms growing feathers, and his feet becoming distinctly birdlike as his eyes glowed brightly. Meanwhile, Karasu struck against Garoma one more time, causing him to roar out in pain and kneel down feeling weakened. He panted from exhaustion as the Karasu clones slowly approached him. Their beaks dripping of hunger and preparing to kill the guardian, tasting victory in their grasp. But before they could finish him off, something dashed through each of the clones and caused them to each explode as the real Karasu looked to the cause of the attack, and to his shock, Avios had himself wrapped by his own wings, and spread them out revealing his full form, as a humanoid Thunderbird as he let out a powerful screech.
Blair was surprised when she looked upon the thunderbird, she watched as Avios dove towards Karasu and twisted himself as lightning formed around him and he rammed Karasu's chest, causing him to shriek in pain from the power enhanced charge. He fell towards the ground and crashed against a mountain, Avios landed next to Garoma and folded his wings, kneeling to him. He helped him up as Garoma shook his head and looked at Avios, sensing that it was Jaden within the thunderbird as Avios nodded his head to him. Garoma smiled and nodded back as he looked to where Karasu crashed, the dust was still there till clones of Karasu emerged and flew out surrounding the two guardians. Avios scowled knowing this monster doesn't want to play fair.
Blair watched it happen and saw Yuki returning from the temple. "Lady Yuki, is that Jaden out there?" She asked her.
"Yes, I sensed that he was connected to Avios, and he needed to aid Garoma against Karasu." Yuki explained to her and looked towards the battle. Both Garoma and Avios were back to back as they searched through the clones trying to find the real one, which is much easier with technology, but they had none to use and there were too many clones to search through as they swarmed around them.
Garoma searched carefully to try and find the real one, but they were moving too fast to get a pinpoint on Karasu, while behind the flock, Karasu was preparing to attack the two guardians as it charged its energy attack. Till out of nowhere, he was shot in the back by a missile, causing him to shriek in pain as the clones disappeared instantly, revealing the real version as both Garoma and Avios looked up, and saw the Valeria descending over them. Misato observed from the observation deck with a glare towards the giant raven. "Picking on two creatures who can barely defend themselves? That's low." She commented as she took the chance to contact the team below. "Colin, it's Misato, you read me?" She asked him.
Colin activated his intercom upon hearing it. "Loud and clear commander, glad you could make it on time." He replied to her.
"What's the situation?" Misato asked him.
"The giant raven is called Karasu, he's an assassin, so be careful. He took down the Axalor easily, he might take the Valeria down alongside it." Colin warned her.
"What about the other two monsters? Are they a threat?" She asked.
"Ohh, I wouldn't worry about those two, commander, trust me." Colin said as Karasu turned towards the Valeria and shrieked at it and flew towards it. Garoma snarled as Avios flew out to catch it, Karasu charged towards the ship only to see Avios get in his way and clapped his wings causing a powerful thunderclap to push it down. Karasu let out a painful cry as he fell towards the ground and landed hard against it.
Misato winced from seeing it and looked towards Avios who looked towards her in the flight deck and nodded his head to her and flew off. She watched him go as Akiza looked towards the battle. "Better put that guy on the payroll." She suggested as Misato nodded in agreement, Karasu shrieked as he got up and shook the dirt and debris off of him as he was unaware that Garoma was charging towards him. He landed several strikes against the giant raven and landed a solid kick against his chest as Karasu stumbled back and turned only to see Avios in his way. He formed a set of four talons and struck at his face leaving deep gashes in it as Karasu screamed in agony.
He backed away and spread his wings and took flight, Misato saw him trying to escape. "Oh no, Ryosuke and his team may have shot you down and let you off easy, but not me. Target the wings, fire missiles!" She ordered as one of the technicians launched the missiles at Karasu's wings, landing powerful hits against the wings as the feathers were blown clean off as Karasu writhed from the attack and began to plummet out of the sky.
Garoma saw it and charged his Sephorian Breath as Karasu continued to fall down towards him. Karasu flailed trying to fly, but with his feathers gone, he continued to freefall as he looked towards Garoma and his eyes widened in panic as he fell towards him. Flames filled Garoma's mouth as he inhaled and unleashed his Sephorian breath against Karasu as it landed against its torso, burning through the giant raven till the flames blasted straight through him, causing him to explode in the sky before he could land on the ground. Finishing his attack, Garoma watched the explosion die down and let out a roar as Avios screeched alongside him. Sylvia smiled seeing they were victorious and looked towards Yuki. "They did it." She said, smiling.
Yuki nodded her head in response and watched as the Valeria landed outside the village as Ryosuke's team headed out of the village to meet with the commander. Misato stepped out of the ship and walked towards the team with Akiza and watched as they approached and stood firm saluting her. "Commander Shirogane, welcome to Sephoria." Colin said to her, lowering his hand.
"At ease, everyone." She replied as everyone lowered their salute. "It is a good thing we got here just in time. Otherwise you and the team would have been bird chow." She told them as she looked around for Ryosuke and Jaden. "Where are Ryosuke and Jaden?" She asked only to see Garoma and Avios approach, causing her to panic and reach for her weapon.
But Shawn stopped her from doing so. "Wait! It's okay, it's Ryosuke and Jaden." He told her as she was shocked and looked towards the two guardians. The two began to glow and began to shrink down to the size of a human, the glow began to fade away as it revealed Ryosuke and Jaden standing before them.
Jaden however felt a bit woozy from the experience and wobbled a bit as Ryosuke caught him. "Easy Jaden, first time transforming into a kaiju will take a bit out of ya." He informed him.
"I noticed…" Jaden replied as he groaned holding his head. "But that really knocked me through the ringer." He commented.
"Ryosuke?" Misato approached as he looked towards her. "Did that… really just happen?" She asked him.
Sighing from the question, Ryosuke looked to her as he let go of Jaden to let him stand on his own. "It's a long story, commander, but now that things have calmed down, we can better explain inside the village." He said, feeling his injuries heal up due to the power of the crystal in his chest.
Seeing the crystal in his chest, Misato was surprised that both he and Jaden have crystals embedded in their chests as she saw Lady Yuki approach her. "Commander Shirogane, I know this is a lot to take in right now. But if you would please, come inside so we can explain the situation further." She said to her as Misato nodded her head and proceeded into the village with her and Ryosuke's team, to hear everything that happened.
(Earth Garrison)
Back on Earth, the council had called in Chad and Kiriko to the Council Chamber to discuss the situation about Misato's insubordination. "Captain Chad Worthington, Kiriko Ayanami, we have been unable to establish contact with the Valeria since our last transmission ended. Thus further showing Commander Shirogane's insubordination." The lead council member explained as he looked upon the two standing before him. "We are asking you both to go out with a task of finding her, and place her under arrest. Along with Captain Ryosuke Kanbara, if he survived. To stand trial." He ordered.
Both Chad and Kiriko bowed to them respectfully. "Consider it done, sir." Chad responded as he and Kiriko sood up and walked out of the room. As they walked down the halls, Chad formed a grin across his face as he looked ahead. "Ohh, I've been looking forward to this." He said, grinning.
"Now be patient, we still have a while to get to their location, and with the warp drives upgraded into your ship, it will be a cinch." Kiriko said as she walked beside him.
Chad glanced towards her with a smirk. "We're not planning on arresting them, are we?" He asked.
This caused her to grin and glance towards him. "Not by a long shot, if Karasu hasn't reported back yet, then it's more than likely that he perished. I will not rest until I see Ryosuke Kanbara, and Garoma, buried!" She hissed as her eyes glowed angrily.
(Sephoria, Kirin Village)
Back on Sephoria, Misato had gotten the gist of everything that happened currently on the planet, but she was currently rubbing her temples trying to process everything she had just learned. "Okay… let me see if I understand this… these Kaiju, the ones you call the Dark Ones, are plotting to return, and the only ones who can stand against them are the Guardians who defeated them with the help of the old gods, and had both factions crystalized, and the only way to unleash the guardians is for them to accept human hosts like Ryosuke and Jaden here?" She asked them.
"That is exactly right, commander, it is not just them who will be chosen, but others as well. Those specifically will be members of his team." Yuki explained.
"Misato, I know it's a lot to take in right now. But me, Jaden and the rest of the team will need every advantage we need to stop the Dark Ones from wreaking havoc on the universe. For all we know, Earth could be the first in line, and our weapons won't be able to stop them." Ryosuke told her, knowing this is hard.
"Besides, how can you say no to two powerful kaiju transforming soldiers like us?" Jaden asked with a grin.
"But are you both even aware of what side effects there will be if you remain bonded to these creatures?" Misato asked them.
"I wouldn't worry, commander." Said Elizabeth as she approached with an assured face. "While their bodies have indeed bonded to the crystals, it is highly unlikely that they will remain in their kaiju forms permanently." She explained.
Letting out a sigh of relief, Misato could put her worries to rest. But one question remained. "If Ryosuke and Jaden were chosen, where are the other Guardians?" She asked them.
"Each of them were carefully hidden on different planets, each with different environments. Garoma and Avios were sealed on this planet because they were born here, the others were born on their own planet." Yuki explained as she walked to the statues. "The gods of your world sealed them in crystal, as a way of protection, and to await for their chosen hosts. 8,000 years would have weakened them, but with help from their hosts, their strength can grow. With enough time and training." She explained.
"That makes sense, but what I'd like to know is, how do we get to them…? I mean, your world isn't exactly tech savvy." Jirou reminded her.
A smile formed across Yuki's face as she walked to the center of the temple. "There is more to our world than you realize." She told him as she walked into the center as it soon began to glow, runes and different symbols appeared around the ring. Ryosuke was amazed along with his team when they saw it, the room around them began to shift and change as they revealed the temple was a large command center. Fueled by magic and technology, they watched as multiple control screens appeared at once as Yuki looked towards them. "This temple has long since been in stasis since ancient times, but the magic that fuels it kept it alive for 8,000 years." She explained.
Amazed, Ryosuke approached one of the astral screens and touched it as it showed the temple's memory banks and looked through them carefully. "This is amazing… a complete miracle of magic and science." He commented.
Misato observed it carefully as she approached it and saw Yuki bring up a chart of the entire galaxy, showing each location of the Guardians that were sealed away. "Incredible… an entire star chart of this sector of the galaxy." She commented while observing the locations. "Okay, so Garoma and Avios are here on this planet… that just leaves the others." She mentioned.
"Exactly." Sylvia stepped up and observed the locations. "The others will be on their home planets that are in this sector before they appeared on your Earth. Thus suiting to their own environment. On a watery planet, multiple forms of sea life reside, and it is here, where the Guardian Aquaria resides. A beautiful Seijin by appearance, but dangerously powerful… which is why Blair, you will travel to this planet to find her." She told her.
"Hold on, if the planet is surrounded entirely by water, how exactly am I supposed to survive? I mean the crystal she's in must be below the surface, right?" Blair asked her.
"Yes, but the residents there are aquatic, and those who visited their planet are given special breathing appartices to go beneath the surface." Yuki explained as she showed the local inhabitants. "The Mermaids are in fact what sailors believe to be wondrous beauties, but their cousins, the Sirens, have long since been hungering for flesh." She explained.
"Mermaids, of all mythical beings… why did it have to be mermaids?" She asked her.
Sylvia placed a hand on her shoulder to assure her. "We made contact with their queen years ago, she assured us that their cousins have long since been banished from their kingdom. So you won't have to worry about anything." She said, holding an assuring smile.
Blair sighed feeling relieved, but Jaden felt the need to go with her to keep her safe. "With your permission, your grace, I would like to accompany her. Call me paranoid if you like, but I just don't feel comfortable with my girlfriend going alone." He told her.
"Very well, permission granted, I will contact Queen Allera to let her know you two will be arriving via portal directly into her castle." Yuki replied as she brought up the next guardian location. "This world is inhabited by powerful predators, skilled hunters, and savage brutes. Here, Shawn will travel to find the crystal that contains the guardian, Talosus." She showed the quilled werewolf through astral projection. "He is the hunter of that planet, nothing escapes his sight, and his quills will be quite effective in battle." She explained.
Shawn observed the kaiju seeing how unique he was, a werewolf with porcupine quills, and a flying squirrel's membrane. He smiled at seeing the creature only to glance towards Jirou who snickered at it, and earned a scowl from Shawn. "Please, I can bet those quills could only help pick meat from his teeth." He commented.
"Those quills are more than what they seem, Jirou, which brings us to the guardian you will be searching for." Sylvia said to him as she searched for the destination he will be headed to. "This planet is inhabited by warring tribes, one being a wise and noble tribe, the other being a tribe of war mongers, it is here, where you will find to guardian Baldurok." He showed the image of the massive reptilian ape-like monster, which immediately surprised him just how powerful he looked.
"Wow, color me impressed." Jirou commented as he ceased his argument.
"Ryosuke, we'll need you to remain here until then, we can't risk any surprise attacks from the enemy." Yuki said to him as he nodded his head to her, suddenly the temple was getting an incoming transmission.
Ryosuke and Misato observed this as they approached to see it. "An incoming transmission?" Misato asked as she opened up her commlink. "Akiza, are you getting this?" She asked.
"I see it commander, and it's coming from Delta Ship Demeter. It's Chad." She informed her.
Blair scoffed at hearing his name and crossed her arms. "What does that prick want?" She asked.
"Better to find out now than to ignore the transmission… Lady Yuki?" Misator looked towards her as she nodded and opened the transmission from the temple as Misato saw Chad appear on screen. "Chad, what a surprise." She commented.
"Commander Shirogane, by order of the Earth Garrison Council, you and Ryosuke Kanbara are under arrest." Chad announced.
Everyone was shocked upon hearing it as Misato walked up to the astral screen. "On what charge?!" She asked him.
"Insubordination, you are to come quietly with Ryosuke Kanbara, or are you willing to continue to defy the council's orders?" Chad asked her.
"I already told those dickwads on the council, I am not leaving him behind, and I sure as hell will not surrender. You hear me Chad?! I won't surrender him, or myself to those assholes! Not after what happened to his mother." She announced, remembering what happened to her.
"Be that as it may, we will be bringing you before the council to stand trial. You got lucky several times in the past, but not this time. We'll be there soon to arrest you, and we will go through anyone who gets in our way." Chad informed her as he disappeared.
Jirou shook his head after hearing it. "That guy really is an asshole." He commented.
"This bullshit! The council said to have you two arrested, I doubt using lethal force on an innocent populace was in the orders." Blair mentioned.
"Blair's right, something about that doesn't feel right." Jaden said as he looked towards Yuki. "Your grace, how fast can we get this search underway before he arrives?" He asked her.
Hearing his question, Yuki checked just how far the Demeter was from Sephoria. "Judging by his destination, we could possibly have a couple days to get the other guardians. I will prepare the portals for each of your destinations, you should be able to get the guardians in a manner of hours before they arrive." She informed them.
Ryosuke looked at his team. "All right everyone, you have your directives, but remember, there will be threats trying to overwhelm you in search of the guardians, so exercise caution, and should you get hurt in your search, hurt them back. If you nearly get killed… walk it off." He ordered as Jaden smirked, shaking his head knowing he was serious. Meanwhile Yuki opened the portals for each team member, they looked at each location, knowing this is one mission that will be hard. But it will be worth it to stand against Chad, as well as Kiriko. Even though they did not know that she was really Violet Queen in human skin. "All right, good luck, all of you." He told them.
"Stay safe, and I'm serious." Colin said to them as he walked up. "I don't want to hear you are all slacking out there. Do I make myself clear?!" He asked them.
Panicking on hearing his authoritative voice, they knew he was serious. "YES SIR!" They quickly said in unison and headed out into the portals to their destinations. Ryosuke watched as he felt confident that they would succeed in their missions, but worried of what they would encounter on the planets they were sent to.
Sylvia approached him and placed a hand on his arm, earning his attention as she looked into his eyes. "They'll be fine, they were trained by the best person I've ever met." She said as she was referring to Ryosuke, who smiled upon hearing it and looked at the planets on the star chart with her. "Their destinations will be dangerous, but they will know what to do, and return to us when they're ready." She said as she looked at the chart.
Ryosuke nodded his head, knowing he needed to have faith in his team. "You're right, and for now… all we can do is wait." He said as he walked away with Sylvia.
Colin watched them go as he approached Yuki and smirked at the young captain and princess. "He may not show it, but I can tell the boy has a connection with the princess." He said to the Kirin leader.
She smiled at the thought of it and looked at him. "If he does, then he best choose the right moment to tell her." She told him.
Which made Colin chuckle as he put his hips to his side. "That could take a while, besides, Ryosuke has always been one to wait for the right moment and not rush into a fast relationship. Unlike Jaden who used to flirt with a lot of girls back at the academy, till he met Blair." He mentioned.
This immediately piqued her interest as Yuki formed a smirk across her face. "Well, however that happened, probably a tale best left untold." She said as she walked away, which made Colin chuckle as he walked beside her. Though they might have a couple days to find guardian crystals, they needed to prepare the defenses. Because Chad, unaware to them… was not going to take prisoners. Human… or Kirin.
Hey guys, here is the latest chapter, and I did manage to name some of the monsters that will be bonded to their human hosts, and believe me, they were not easy to figure out. Just to give a list of who will have a Kaiju/Seijin form, and to make sure no one gets confused, here are the ones I managed to get.
Ryosuke Kanbara: Garoma
Jaden Hirata: Avios
Blair Saito: Aquaria
Shawn Sherizawa: Talosus
Jirou Saikawa: Baldurok
Kiriko Ayanami: Violet Queen
Hope this helps those who are struggling to figure out who will be who, and I am still thinking of a Kaiju form for Sylvia, which won't be easy, given she is currently half Sephorian, enjoy the chapter.)
