Trigger warning (some slight harassment)

"Kol." Eloise gasps. She takes a step back as she quickly considers whether she'd seen signs of a break-in at her door.

"Ah, so you remember me. Great." Kol jumps off the bed. He hadn't really intended on staying in the girl's house, but the temptation was too strong.

"How do you expect me to forget you after our... memorable meeting?" Eloise asks carefully.

"You flatter me, I too found our get together unforgettable, dearest." Kol grins sharply at the girl. "The problem is, you shouldn't."

Eloise blinks, uncertain what he meant with that. Her eyes flicker towards the bedstand where she kept a knife. She wasn't exactly a violent person but a knife usually worked better to scare someone away than a pillow.

Kol follows her gaze and lets out an amused sound. "Looking for this?" Kol holds up the knife for her to see. "Were you going to stab me, darling?"

Eloise decided it was wiser not to answer that question so she asked something else instead. "How did you get in? There are no signs of forced entry."

"Well, let's just say that it was rather nice of your landlady to invite me in."

"Of course she did." Eloise lets out a sigh. The woman who rented her this place was a sweetheart, but not very big on boundaries.

"She seemed quite cheerful with the idea of me being your boyfriend, and I quote directly 'Such a handsome young man can surely get her out of the slump'." Kol doesn't try to hide his look of self-importance and arrogance.

Eloise groans.

"Tell me, dear, are you in a slump? Do I need to save you? Oh, and she was quite impressed with the flowers I apparently left at your doorstep. So, you're welcome?" Kol smirks upon seeing a slight twitch at the corners of her mouth.

Eloise forces the butterflies at the mention of Elijah's flowers down. "How long have you been here?"

"Don't worry darling, I barely looked at your delicates." Kol lifts his eyebrows suggestively. He had indeed gone through her stuff, but mostly to locate any weapons she might plan on using against any intruder. Kol was glad he had done so because he would rather not be stabbed with the dull knife he was holding right now. Of course, the woman could not kill him, but he would like to skip the pain altogether.

Eloise hoped dearly the man before her couldn't see the heat rising to her cheeks. Everything he said sounded suggestive. She was no stranger to lewd remarks but the way Kol looked at her while saying it affected her more than she would have liked.

"Why are you here?" Eloise bites out. "Surely you have more important things to do than violate my privacy."

"I came to bring back your bag." Kol grins, pointing with the knife to the corner of the room where her bag was. He might have also wanted to see the girl up close again. Kol didn't usually care much for his victims, but he kind of liked the interaction he had with this woman, it interested him.

Eloise refrains herself from walking towards the bag. "You don't seem like the kind of person to care for returning belongings."

"I am not." Kol shrugs. "But, I might have felt a little bad for making you walk back home hurt."

Eloise looks at Kol, not knowing if he was joking or not, the man had killed two people in the alley and he felt bad for making her walk, that did not add up in her mind.

"Talking about that." Kol mutters while striding across the room, halting mere inches away from Eloise, who was now standing with her back pressed against the bedroom door, a scenario that felt dreadfully familiar.

Kol looks intently into Eloise's eyes, holding her gaze while his hands rise to her throat. With a rip he tears the collar of her turtle neck apart, revealing the bandage that was hidden underneath.

Eloise flinches upon hearing the rip, she didn't trust Kol's hands or any part of him near her neck. She remains silent, afraid a single wrong word would mean her end.

Kol makes a disapproving noise before ripping the bandage off as well, baring the wound he had placed on her neck for him to see. It looked irritated but not infected. He softly brushes his fingers over the delicate skin, ignoring Eloise's sharp take in of breath.

"You're not going to... bite me again, are you?" Eloise mumbles, not daring to speak louder when Kol was still staring down at her, fingers grazing her skin.

"Would you like me to?" Kol asks seriously. He was familiar with humans who enjoyed pain but he had never guessed this one would also be interested in that. If she was, he would be more than happy to give in to her wish.

"No thank you."

Kol nods and seems conflicted for a second before he raises his wrist to his mouth.

Eloise looks on in horror as his face transforms right before her eyes. His eyes darken and dark veins pop up underneath them, fangs elongate and the whole thing looked incredibly threatening. She winces as she sees him bite on his own wrist. Was this some sort of vampiric self-harm?

"Mouth open, darling." Kol orders. He narrows his eyes when the girl does not follow his command. He was doing this for her sake, some cooperation would be nice. With an irritated sigh, he firmly grabs hold of her chin, tugging until she reluctantly opens her mouth.

Eloise furrows her brow, she did not think opening her mouth for a vampire was a great idea but she was left with very little choice. She sputters a little as Kol brings his bloody wrist to her mouth and tries to pull away but Kol's grip is unrelenting.

"Swallow, dearest. It will help." Kol urges, not at all amused by the girl's stubbornness. He didn't even know why he was healing her, it wasn't as if Kol cared about this woman's wellbeing, but here he was urging her to drink his blood.

With a roll of her eyes, which she later realizes probably was a dumb move on her behalf she swallows the thick metallic liquid. She looks up at Kol's face, who looked on in concentration, brow furrowed. The taste makes her want to gag, but she continues to drink from the offered wrist, not wanting to irritate Kol further.

"Good girl." Kol teases before retracting his wrist. He lets his fingers go over Eloise's neck, feeling a strange sense of loss upon seeing the now fully healed skin. He had always been a fan of marking his... conquests.

Eloise straightens her back and looks up at Kol, his unreadable expression concerned her. "Why would you do that? What-"

"Look for yourself." Kol replies, waving airily towards the bathroom door before taking his seat on her bed again, feigning boredom.

Eloise looks at the man, contemplating the risk she took by turning her back against him, before walking towards her bathroom door. As soon as she opens it Bowie runs out. She feels a sense of relief, happy that he at least had not killed her dog. To her annoyance, Bowie does not greet her but runs up to Kol instead.

"Don't worry, I gave him some biscuits. Didn't want this little guy to intrude on our alone time." Kol winks at the girl, who looked utterly flabbergasted at the scene before her.

"Traitor." Eloise mumbles as she sees Bowie begging Kol for affection.

Kol grins at Eloise's annoyed expression before turning to face the dog, petting his pretty fur. "You should meet Nik, you two would get along great." He whispers to the dog, grinning broadly at the mental image of Niklaus's annoyed expression.

Eloise shakes her head before entering the bathroom. Judging by the fact that Kol had bothered to feed her dog and keep him alive, reassured her enough to leave the two alone for a little. She looks taken aback at her reflection. Ignoring the blood that was smeared around her mouth, the wound on her neck had disappeared completely.

Astonished, Eloise exits her bathroom and plops down on the bed next to Kol. In her daze, she had not considered if this move might be interpreted as an invitation for the man beside her and she quickly shuffles away from him.

"Relax darling, I'm not going to have my wicked way with you." Kol declares in an exasperated tone. "And if I wanted you dead... you'd be dead.

"That does not help me relax... at all." Eloise mumbles. "If you're not killing me now, what do you want?"

"Spend some time away from my siblings mostly." Kol replies earnestly. He looks at her for a moment before chuckling. "I didn't catch your name."

"Well, you were a bit occupied with almost killing me." Eloise remarks dryly.

"Don't fuss, I hardly injured you. It was just a few sips." Kol rolls his eyes before he turns towards the girl. He relished the sort of defiant expression on her face, he had also seen it in the alley. "Now, I asked you something, darling. I don't like to be kept waiting."

"Eloise."
