What's going on everyone? Welcome back for another chapter of Sword Art Online: Alicization - The Fourteenth Knight! Last chapter was something as it allowed us to see the more vicious side of Adam. But now that he has a Divine Object, and is now considered an Integrity Knight, he will now have to take on new tasks if he is to serve Quinella properly. What will the Axiom Church Order him to do, we will soon find out in this chapter! All rights go to Reki Kawahara, while I just own my OC. Alright! Let's start the chapter!

CHAPTER 3: A Knight's Duty

Sleeping in his new room that was large enough to even fit Hiroshi inside, Adam was enjoying one of the many perks of becoming a full fledged Integrity Knight. With the moon light shining through his open window, Adam's room was fully illuminated. While he slept in his bed, Adam's armor was restored back to its former glory as it sat peacefully on a stand strong enough to carry the heaviest of armor. Beside his armor was a large mirror that also carried a dresser for the knights clothes, but because he was living in the Axiom church, aside from his armor, he only wore the same type of clothes dat in and day out.

Sitting across from his bed was a large couch had a small wooden table standing before it. As it was expected for Integrity Knights, because they were of a higher rank than most soldiers in the Imperial Army, they were given great privileges, which included improved living conditions. Such conditions were not just a bigger bed and a couch, but each Integrity Knight's room also had a private bathroom with a tub and toilet ft for a lord of an estate.

Across from the small table, was also a small wine cabinet that carried some of the oldest wine in the Human Empire. Even though outsiders were forbidden to enter the Axiom Church, that doesn't mean that Adam wasn't allowed to socialize with other knights. Upon first arrival to his room, Adam was surprised to see several bottles of wine in his room, as they were sent as a gift for his recent promotion. Before going to bed, the young knight loved the idea of one day hosting a small gathering with some of his fellow brothers and sisters as they would enjoy the spoils of knighthood. But as he lied in his large bed, Adam tossed and turned all over the mattress, struggling to get a good nights rest.

Deep within his dream, Adam opens his eyes and sees himself riding a white horse into town. The dirt road the knight's horse traveled on was firm and clear of rocks, as it cut through a gold field of wheat. Adam could feel the soft wind kiss the front of face as the sun reached its peek. The sounds of birds chirping filled the air with joy while the sounds of his armor banged against the side of the horse with every step he took. Looking behind him, he saw his sword and armor reskin easily along side the horse while the creature also held several bags of food and supplies.

Before he knew it, the young knight soon hears the sound of hooves stepping onto a bridge that was made out of entirely of stone. The well structured bridge was small but was needed to cross a small creek that had a stream of crystal clear water running underneath. Adam looks over the side of the bridge and is able to see his reflection. While he was pleased to see that he kept his good looks, he noticed that he was wearing something on his face - glasses.

While glasses were common among the poorly perceptive nobles, it was strange seeing that this knight was wearing glasses.

As Adam rode into town, he saw how the streets of this well established community were busy with life. He watched as merchants sold their goods, parents buy their necessities while the children played and laughed with one another as they ran freely through the streets. But as the knight journeyed further into the town, he watched how every man, woman, and child stop and stare at him with smiles. Something in his body told him to raise his arm, and unknowingly waved at the good people he past by.

For some odd reason, despite not knowing what was happening in this dream, that felt as real as the Pontifex herself, Adam could not help but feel as if he was with his people. Even though he had lived and fought beside his brothers and sisters of arms, traveling through this unknown town felt just as much as being surrounded by family.

The young knight continued to ride through town before he got off his hose and walked into a gold field of flowers. With one hand holding onto the reins of his horse, Adam felt the soft pedals brush against his hardened hand, as he walked across the field. With farms out into the distance, the knight hears the sounds of children laughing as he sees them play among the flowers that were blossoming under the warm sun. He feels the weight of his soul slow him down as he approached a large tree that sat proudly among the delicate flowers.

Underneath the tree he sees a familiar face as he recognizes the young woman standing in the shade of the tree. It was the same girl who he came across on top of the mountain. From out of the shade, Adam sees this young girl is still dressed in white with her pearl hair being outshined by her oceanic blue eyes. She holds her hands up to her mouth as her eyes begin to tear. The look on her face felt as if she had been reunited with a part of herself that had been lost for almost eternity.

Before she could speak a single word, Adam opens his eyes and feels the sun shine through the window and onto his bed. He lifts his hand up and blocks the sun from blinding his eyes anymore. As he begins to fully awake he rubs the crush from his eyes and ponders on the dream he had just woken up from.

It has been so long since I woke up from a nice dream. Come to think of it, I can't even remember the last time I actually had a full nights rest. Maybe it was all stress from all the training I went through. But even when I did sleep, I was always thrown into a nightmare from all the bloodshed during the times when I had to survive against beasts and creatures from Vecta himself.

And now, I keep seeing you. Did I dream when I first saw you on top of the mountain? I don't know. I was too focused on the task at hand. I've always wanted to have a good dream, and now I am being haunted by you. Taunting me with delusions of peace and beauty, knowing that a knight cannot have those things. Knowing that I can never fall in love.

With the sun rising on a new day, Adam Synthesis Fourteen began the next stage in his life as a fully devoted Integrity Knight and with his new title, came several perks. Every morning Adam would rise from his bed before heading down to the training grounds that were located on the middle floors of the cathedral. He would train with his know sword but was never allowed to unlock its power for it was forbidden to use Divine Objects within the church. Doing so would result in unwanted destruction. So while Adam trained with just his sword alone, he always imagined the day of unlocking its power for the first time, for it would a glorious moment worth remembering.

After training for several hours came one of the other perks of earning a high rank in the church as Adam would then dine on the ninety-fourth floor of the Axiom Church, which was known as the dining room meant for Integrity Knights.

Each morning that went by, Adam dined in main hall that was large enough to have a ballroom dance. The table and chairs were made from the finest wood as each sitting had established silverware that was made from the rarest of metals and polished by the hardworking maids. Even the plate was so clean that Adam could always see a reflection of himself. Then came the meal, as the knight was always eager to start each day with a well-made meal that would carry him throughout the day.

On some days, Adam would receive a breakfast fit for a nobleman, as his plate would be filled with eggs were cooked to a beautiful color of white and yellow. Beside the eggs he would also have been given beef sausages with slices of pork sitting right next to them as the eggs would suck up most of the juices from the meet. Like any man, Adam loved meat. He loved the feeling of sinking his teeth into well cooked flesh before tearing it into pieces with his canine teeth. But while he could easily eat like that on the tenth floor, which was the dining room meant for people lower than Integrity Knights, he had to be more civil in this dinning room. Finally, slices of bread were also placed onto his plate as they were toasted to a golden brown color that completed the meal. Oh how he loved the feeling of eating more as the bread served as a method to finally suppress his cravings.

On other days, the knight was given a plate of eggs but his sides for the dish were different completely. There would be times where instead of meat, Adam would have been served vegetables that would sit around his eggs. His preferred vegetable would always be potatoes. Whether they were sliced diagonally, diced into cubes, or even just given to him as whole, Adam enjoyed potatoes. Alongside the vegetable ad eggs, he would also have a well cooked spinach and mushrooms on his plate. Even though he never really cared for spinach, he always thought it tasted better when it was cooked with salt on it. As for mushrooms, Adam had always snacked on mushrooms from time to time as they carried him throughout the day and were good for the heart.

Every morning that he ate his meal, the dining room would be almost empty on somedays. Adam thought that with so many knights performing their duties for the Pontifex, that they all eat their meals in different parts of the day. Even though he regularly enjoyed his breakfast, he sometimes wished that he had someone to dine with from time to time.

After he had his filling with the most important meal of the day, then came the knight's duties. With his armor strapped on, and with his red cape resting alongside his back, Adam would always walk into the Dragon Landing Field, where Hiroshi would wait for him. The knight would always check to see he if everything was ready to go, he could always hear the sound of his dragon's heart beat as the large creature would take large breaths. Not wasting anymore time, the two would set off to various parts of the country where they were needed. But while Adam was excited to get back into the field of combat, the tasks that he was given each day were were somewhat disappointing.

Instead of fighting beasts from the Dark Territory, Adam and Hiroshi were tasked with upholding the laws of the Human Empire, and maintaining the long-lasting peace by making sure the people were following the Taboo Index. To ensure her rule was absolute, Quinella created absolute law with the Taboo Index which was seen as a rule system that covers all crimes and their respective punishments. The Index also prohibited actions of humans bringing harm to other humans as wells as limiting hunting and storing food due to the small resources the empire was suffering from.

Several of the known laws the Taboo Index pointed out were that is was illegal to steal another man's property, while also noting that it was against the law to take another person's life. While those laws were elementary as it was common knowledge to not inflict harm onto others, there were other laws that were other laws that almost anyone could easily forget. Now even though the Taboo Index has well established laws, that all most follow, it fell upon Adam's shoulders to make sure those laws were being followed.

While there were days where Adam would have to make the occasional arrest on thieves and murderers, that rarely happened as the punishments were clear on what would happen to those who broke the law. Such punishments resorted to Adam locking up criminals in the the prison that sat under the Axiom Church as they waited for judgement. Other punishments were more "messy" as Adam would have to watch those criminals be brought to a court where they would be executed and made an example out of those who broke the law.

Adam remembers his first beheading as he brought a young farmer from a small region in the country who took from his neighbors land before becoming a criminal. He was too young to start a life of crime as he looked like he was just leaving his teenage years and was now entering adulthood. But he would never live to see old age as it fell upon Adam's duty to bring fourth the ax onto his neck. In one swift, the knight chops off the boy's head and watched his head roll onto the floor that was soaked with red blood. That day would be a moment Adam would never forget as it would remind him of the consequences for defying Quinella's absolute rule.

Thankfully those days rarely happened as most of the people of the Human Empire understood what fell upon them for breaking the most sacred of laws. Most of the time, Adam and Hiroshi would spend their days flying to different regions of the empire on a weekly basis. Every week or so, Adam would fly his dragon to a certain territory where he would monitor the behavior of the people from a distance before stepping in to enforce the more unheard-of laws.

In one week, Adam and Hiroshi flew to the east part of the empire where the knight would have to remind several hunters to limit their hunting. And while Adam was called out several unpleasant names, he made it clear of what would happen if the hunters disregarded his warning. During the same week, the young knight would have to collect tributes from the towns as he would watch lines of people form before him. He watched merchants, famers, bakers, and all other people from different professions stand before him as they were ready to pay tribute to the Axiom Church that was maintaining peace and justice throughout the empire.

Although there were some that were able to pay tribute, there were times where Adam had to resort to unpleasant ways. He remembers several times where he had to seize horses from merchants who couldn't pay tax. Other times Adam would have to confiscate not just horses, but cows, donkeys, and other animals from farmers who were struggling to contribute to the Axiom Church.

However, none were so ever painful as there were times when Adam was sent to the south part of the empire that consisted of mostly desert. In that region, it was almost chaos in that area as life there was hard on those who chose to occupy that region. Everyday was a struggle to survive. While some were able to create a so called "life" in that part of the empire, such as nobles of the desert, others struggled to provide for their families.

When it came time to collecting tribute Adam remembers yanking a child from a father's arms who could not contribute to Quinella's rules. He looks back on that moment and is reminded of the mother's screams as she watched an Integrity Knight chain her child to a dragon where young one would be taken to the Axiom Church. It was something Adam did not wished to happen, but he had to uphold all the laws that were established by the Pontifex. Going against the taboo index would be a direct betrayal to the Axiom Church for they were upholding the law that was maintaining order.

In moments when a child was taken to the cathedral, it would fall upon Quinella and her Prime Senator, Chudelkin to determine what occupation the children were put into. For those who were strong enough to carry a sword, they were groomed as soldiers of the Imperial Army. For those who were unable to serve on the battlefield, they were turned into maids and servants who offered aid in the Axiom Church.

As time went on, Adam cannot remember how many times he had to take what was precious to some of the people who worked hard for the empire but were struggling to survive as it was. He still hear's the cries and pleas from several families who watched him take their children away as they were sent to Axiom Church to serve under the Pontifex.

At the end of the day, Adam would return to the cathedral where he would watch the sun set on another day. Once there he would make sure that Hiroshi would get his needed food and rest before the knight would return to his quarters where he would unstrap his armor. With every piece that was taken off him, Adam could feel the weight of duty and responsibility lift off him as felt that he can finally unwind his tightened body that was constricting him from all the unwanted stress and boredom from each day.

There never was a day where he didn't wish he would be sent on the front lines to chop down several beasts from the Dark Territory. Cutting down goblins and orcs seemed much more simple rather than sitting behind a table where he would watch every man and woman pay tribute to Quinella.

After unstrapping his armor, the night would spend sometime in his private bathroom where he would reflect on the day he had went through. On days that were more unpleasant than others, Adam would often visit the Grand Bath on the ninetieth floor where he would soak in the steaming hot water for at least an hour. Feeling the heat of the room felt rejuvenating as he would stare through the large windows that overlooked the city of Centoria. Adam would watch the moon rise above the mountains as it made its way across the night sky filled stars that were left by Solus.

With his body clean, Adam would feast on a meal that would finish off the day - but he would not eat alone. Despite there were times where he would eat dinner by himself, there were other times where he would eat in the company of other fellow Integrity Knights. Oh how he loved moments like this as he would sit beside fellow knights who served beside him for the good of the empire. While some knights wore silver armor with colorful capes, others wore colors that were unbelievable such as gold and purple.

Every time he dined with the knights, it was a new experience. There were some knights that were quiet and reserved, while there were other knights who were flamboyant and proudly expressed their status to others. But every time he talked among the knights he began to wonder what role did he fit in this family forged by steel and loyalty.

Those times would soon come to a close as Adam would return back to his chambers where he would lie in bed and fall asleep, only to wake up from a dream and repeat the day all over again. For days, for weeks, Adam repeated the same process over and over. Awake, train, eat, duty, bathe, eat, and sleep. That was the routine Adam repeated everyday ever since he was given his new word from Quinella. Everyday that went by, he wished for the opportunity to unsheathe his sword and unleash its power onto any foe who dare crossed swords with him. Each day felt like Hell to him.

However, there came a day where the knight was allowed to rest for at least a day before he would be given new orders to fulfill. On this day, Adam walked through the halls of the Axiom Church, he examined the beauty that the church had to offer. It wasn't every day that he looked at the stained glass windows that depicted the artistry of Quinella's story. Even the ceilings of the halls he walked through were painted by some of the most talented artists in Centoria.

Walking through many hallways, and traveling up and down several flights of stairs, Adam could even hear the cathedral itself begin to sing. The ambiance throughout the church was celestial and holy as felt as if the knight could hear a choir hum and chant a tone of music that was angelic. Witnessing the full beauty of the church reminded Adam of his duty to the church and the Pontifex. Through Quinella's hand she will create a pure world, a clean world. A world where this only loyalty, love, and beauty.

While he was pondering his thoughts as he looked at a stained glass window, his moment was interrupted when he felt the presence of his former master approach. Just keep moving. He thought to himself, hoping that he would not get another lecture from a man who never saw his talents. However, he heard Deusolbert's footsteps slow down before they came to a halt as he felt the knight company him while they both starred at the art.

"It's remarkable." He said. "You can spend all your life in this cathedral and even so you will never be disappointed by the artistry this church holds."

"On that, I agree." Adam responded before he looked away from the glass and walked down the hall while his former mentor walked beside him. Adam did his best to keep a polite posture, since this was the first time in weeks that they have spoken to each other since Adam was given his Divine Object. It had also been weeks since their large argument which left a bitter taste in their mouths. Perhaps this moment served as the perfect opportunity to make amends.

As they walked down the halls, Deusolbert is the first to break the awkward silence. "How is knighthood treating you, my former disciple?"

"It has its perks, one cannot argue with that." Adam responded thinking about all the luxuries such as the rooms, baths, and meals that only Integrity Knights are given. "Although, I must say, the duties that I have been tasked with in these past weeks have been a bit dull."

"Well from my perspective, that's one of the advantages of knighthood. You're so high up the ladder that you do not need to sink yourself in the cold mud below." Deusolbert said for he knew that Adam missed being in the front lines with his troops.

"Yes, given these past few weeks, I now understand those words as this new chapter of my life has made me see that it's easier to cleave a goblin's head clean off than it is to collect tributes for the Pontifex." Adam said.

"While some may have a different opinion on your notion of duty, I see truth in those words." Deusolbert responded. "It's easier to do the dirty work and be praised as a hero, than it is to sit behind a table and be called the villain."

Adam could already visualize those words that Deusolbert spoke of for life before was much more simple before he became a full knight. Before, he would be tasked to put down a tribe of goblins, orcs, or ogres and return home as a hero for slaying the beasts that plagued the good people of the empire. However, now that he has seen the other side of the spectrum, he himself has been seen as the villain after taking what was once precious to those who could not pay tribute. He still remembers the cries from the many girls and boys he ripped from their parent's arms and brought them here.

"Yes, I couldn't agree with you any more." Adam said as the two walked past the training grounds of the church where they saw the same two girls that Adam would pass by every so often. The two watched as they witnessed these little girls tear through several soldiers as if they were hungry predators out for blood. True, they did have skill, but the lacked discipline.

Deusolbert took this moment to try to explain what the future holds for his former disciple. "I know it must seem difficult to adjust to a new lifestyle, but I hope that within time you will see how your duty will help pave the road for a better future for the empire."

"Yes, I do hope that these tasks that I have taken will help the Pontifex create a better world." Adam responded. If doing paper work meant that it would help Quinella shape the empire into the world Adam visioned, then the young knight was willing to do anything to make it a reality.

"I am glad to hear that." Deusolbert said who was pleased to hear how is former disciple was willing to do anything to help the Pontifex in reshaping the empire.

Their moment of restitution was soon broken when Adam heard the sound of footsteps approach them. He then hears a familiar voice. "It's nice to see a friendly face after so long."

Adam turns around and sees Eydis Synthesis 10 approach them. Her beige hair had grown longer since the last time Adam had seen her for it was tied in a pony tail using a black bow. Her eyes were red like rubies as she held a cheerful expression on her face. The armor she wore had improved in since the last time he saw it for it was a mixture of black, maroon, white, and gold.

A smile grew on Adam's face as he saw his old friend approach him and Deusolbert. He solutes to her as a sign of respect for she held a higher rank and status compared to him. "Eydis Synthesis Ten, it's nice to see you. It's been too long."

"Oh Adam, how many times have I told you to call me Big Sis Eydis?" Eydis cheerfully responded as she did not allow formalities to get in the way between the bond of her and Adam. For as long as they've known each other, Eydis has always acted like the big sister in their relationship even though Adam was much larger than this knight. Even so, she enjoyed the moments the two shared with one another.

"Fine, Big Sis Eydis." Adam responded who was annoyed at how he even though he had been given the status of Integrity Knight, he was still treated like a little boy next to Eydis.

The Tenth Knight salutes to her superior, the Crimson Knight. "Commander Deusolbert, it is good to see you once again."

"Likewise." Deusolbert responded as he saluted back to the young girl. "I am glad that you were able to come, despite being tasked with other duties."

"It's no problem at all." Eydis said. "I have been looking forward to this for some time now."

"What's going on? Is there something I should I know about?" Adam asked who felt like he was being held out of the conversation the two knights were having.

Eydis looks at Adam in confusion before looking back to Deusolbert, "You didn't tell him?"

The old knight closed his eyes and shook his head in response as turned to his former student. "With more children being brought in, the Pontifex has asked us to assess them and determine which are best suited for training. And seeing that the two of your schedules are open for the time being, I would like to hear your perspective of things, starting with those two."

Eydis utters only sound in response to Deusolbert's request before the knight puts up a hand to silence her excitement. He then looks out to the two girls who have been training while the three knights were having their conversation. Adam looks onto the training ground and sees how these two little girls were violent in their strikes, the held precision for they were only strong enough to carry daggers. They're acrobatic skills were well timed as they knew where and when to leap above and around their opponents.

Adam placed his hand on his chin as he looked at the two of them fighting. "They seem to have some skill, but their form of fighting is vicious as it has some sort of playfulness. It's as if I'm watching two cats play with a single mouse."

"Sounds a lot like someone I know." Deusolbert added, casually mentioning how Adam loses control of himself in the heat of the moment.

"No." Adam quickly responded in a sharp voice but also maintained his posture so that he wasn't seen as losing his temper. "When I fight, I go in straight for the kill and I have to break bone in order to make sure the threat is taken care of, so be it. But I've never danced around an enemy in this sort of manner."

"So you believe that there is room for improvement for these girls."

"Yes, I believe so." Adam said as he crossed his arms. "With the proper training these two will no doubt make excellent knights to serve the Pontifex."

"I am glad to hear that, because I am assigning them to be yours and Eydis' disciples."

"What?" Adam was completely caught off guard from what Deusolbert had just said.

"As of this moment, you and Eydis will train them as your two disciples. Treat them however you wish, but make sure that they get the proper training they deserve." Deusolbert said before he turned away from Adam and began to walk away from the two.

The young knight steps in the way of his former master with a looks at him with sense of confusion and bitter. "Hold on, you don't have the authority to dump a child onto my responsibility."

"I know, which is why I made this arrangement with the Pontifex some time ago." Deusolbert said. "Seeing how you were bored with the tasks you were assigned, I felt that this would serve as good opportunity to expand your duties as a knight by help training the next generation of knights. And you did say that you were willing to do anything to help Quinella create a better world. By training the next line of knights, we will be able to maintain a long lasting peace in the kingdom."

Seeing how he pretty much walked right into Deusolbert's trap, Adam looked for a way to escape this large task that he had been assigned. He looks over to Eydis and used her presence to try to get out of this. "What about Eydis? Did she have a choice? Or did you go behind her back and make the arrangements yourself?"

"Actually I was standing beside him when he met the Pontifex." Eydis happily said which caught Adam off guard. "I think it's a terrific idea. While it is adding more work onto our load as it is, the idea of taking one of these girls under my wing does sound promising."

After hearing Eydis side of the current situation, Deusolbert turns back to Adam. "It seems that you are the only one who is against the idea."

The thought of taking in a disciple was something that never occurred to Adam, let alone taking one of these violent girls as his student. He was irritated at how Deusolbert's words spoke truth. Over the past few weeks Adam was slightly bored with the duties he has taken in these past few days for he desired more than anything to go back to the front lines. But seeing how that work was too low for an Integrity Knight, and given how there have been less attacks from the Dark Territory, the fire within Adam was slowing burning out. Oh how he wished to return to the days where he fought beasts on the other side of the wall, but it sounds like those days are over.

Now seeing that a moment of opportunity has presented itself, it looks like Adam's life would be less boring as he would have a student. In truth he never really cared for taking on a disciple. He always saw it as a way to slow him down for which ever unfortunate child would not be able to keep up with the training Adam had in mind. A student would also serve as a distraction as it would fall on the knight's responsibility to train and care for the child, resulting in less time for himself. But now, seeing that there was no way out of the situation, it looked like Adam would have to find a way to make time for himself if was going to be training one of these girls.

"Come on! It'll be fun!" Eydis said as she placed her hand on Adam's shoulders before patting him on the back. Seeing that he was displeased with how this day had turned out, Adam tried to keep a straight face when Eydis was trying to cheer him up. When she saw how her brother was trying to show how resentful he was to the idea, Eydis wraps her arms around Adam's neck and pulls him close for a hug. The knight was caught off guard as his expression went from bitter to slightly annoyed when Eydis nuzzled her face against Adam's. "Now, now, no need to be all grumpy! I'm sure these girls will add some excitement into our lives."

"Oh how I wish I had some of your enthusiasm." Adam said as he could not hold his straight face and surely cracked like an egg when he saw how his big sister was trying to cheer him up. A small smile appears on his face before a slight chuckle leaves Adam's mouth, lightening the mood.

"Well then the matter is finally settled. I will take my leave and allow you two to get acquainted with your new students." Seeing how his former student was adjusting to the task he had been assigned, Deusolbert knew that it was his time to leave.

"Come on! Let's go greet the girls." Eydis said as she patted Adam on the back and took her lead as they walked into the training room.

"Yes, let's." Adam said in a calm tone but was still annoyed how he was unexpectedly given the responsibility of training a child. But training a child was one thing, training a young girl who seemed to know her way with a blade was another. Given his opinion on the fighting styles these two carried, Adam saw how these two girls were vicious and violent in their strikes. Perhaps given that they already have a style of their own, there may be some contradictions between the styles they have self taught themselves and the styles that Adam and Edyis were going to teach them. Either way, Adam could see the look in their eyes and knew that training these girls was going to be easier said than done. Why do I get the feeling that these girls are going to give me a headache?

Well, that just happened. It looks like Adam really walked into that situation unknowingly. Who knows? Maybe a student will help Adam learn how to control his temper. But for those of you who do know in fact who these girls are, then you've probably figured out that things are going to get a lot more hectic in Adam's life.

Also, it was nice to finally introduce Eydis into the story, given that we rarely see her in the anime but does play a role in the game Sword Art Online: Alicization - Rising Steel.

After watching the game's well animated cutscenes, I was very interested to see how this character's story is parallel to the events that unfold in the show. Which inspired me to write this story as I've always wanted to see more from this world and introduce a character who has a story that plays alongside the main story that occurs in the anime.

Well that's gonna do it for this chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it and I look forward to releasing the next chapter in the next few weeks. So if you are liking the story so far feel free to follow and favorite it and if you really enjoyed the chapter feel free to leave a comment.

I'll see you all next time with CHAPTER 4: Untamed Power.
