A new day began in the city of Magnolia and like every day, the guild was quite lively, except for a certain duo.
Natsu and Happy were groaning with their heads resting on the table.
"What's the matter with you two? What's with the faces?" asked Gray.
"It's just that we haven't slept at all." said Happy.
"We spent all night going back to town." said Natsu.
"Going back to town? Where did you go?" asked Wendy confused.
"Nowhere. It just so happens that Korra used her powers to send us flying far away from the city." said Natsu.
"And why would she do that?" asked Charle.
"It's just that we caught her coming out of the bathroom and..." began Happy.
"You were spying on her?" asked Erza with a black aura of anger at the image of the two of them spying on a woman in the bathroom, which scared the hell out of both of them.
"N-No! No! No! It's not that! We just snuck into Lucy's house and caught her in the moment! We're innocent!" said Natsu raising his arms in defense and shaking with fear.
"If you snuck into Lucy's house unannounced, you're not entirely innocent!" said Gray sighing at his friend's antics.
Just then, the group looked toward the entrance to see Lucy and Korra entering the guild. As they made their way towards them, Korra gave the fire dragon slayer and the exceed a withering glare, as if she was telling them that the next time she caught them, what she would do to them would be worse than the last, which made them shudder.
"How was your evening? Were there any problems?" asked Wendy wanting to change the subject.
"Well, there was one." began Korra squinting at a certain duo for a moment before smiling again. "But for the others, it went well."
"Yeah, Korra's a good roommate. She even helped me with the cleaning." said Lucy.
"It was the least I could do, since I'm staying at your place." said Korra.
At that point, Lucy came up with something to try to cheer her up a little.
"Hey, Korra. When I took your clothes to wash them, I found a picture of you with other people." began Lucy causing the Avatar's eyes to widen in surprise as she remembered the picture she always carried with her. "Would you mind showing it to us?"
"Sure, no problem." said Korra going through her pockets until she found the aforementioned photo, which she placed on the table for all to see.
"You all seem to be getting along well." said Natsu smiling at the happy and friendly atmosphere the picture showed.
"Who are they?" asked Gray.
"They are some of the most important people in my life. You could say they're like my family." said Korra smiling.
"I see." said Erza smiling at the picture, as the way they all looked in the picture reminded her of the family she had with the guild despite not being related. "Could you tell us about them?"
"Sure." began Korra before pointing to the animal she and the other woman were riding on. "This is Naga, a polar bear dog who has been with me for as long as I can remember. I consider her my best friend."
"She looks cute." said Lucy.
"Yes. She reminds me of me and Charle." said Wendy, since she had the exceed a long time ago and they considered each other great friends.
"And Happy and Natsu." said Charle.
"Aye sir." said Happy.
Then Korra pointed to the older man standing to the side.
"This is Tenzin. He was the one who taught me airbending and has been giving me advice that helped me on certain occasions. I wouldn't be who I am if it wasn't for him." said Korra.
"He reminds me a bit of the master." said Gray seeing similarities between the airbender and the guild master.
"But our old man is stronger than him." said Natsu with his hands behind his head.
"That doesn't mean he's not strong or wise." said Erza defending her friend's teacher.
Then she pointed to the two men in the picture.
"They are Mako, a firebender, and his younger brother, Bolin, an earthbender." said Korra.
"What's with the uniform?" asked Gray.
"It's the uniform of the Republic City police. They used to work together, but Bolin quit to become President Zhu Li's assistant." explained Korra.
"Why did he do it?" asked Erza.
"He said it was because he had found his true calling in politics. Although he said that about his previous jobs as well." said Korra recalling the other jobs her friend held since they met.
"He seems like a fickle one." said Erza.
"I think Mako said he had an aversion to commitment." said Korra.
"Well, I hope he finds his true goal someday. He can't keep switching from one job to another all the time." said Charle with her arms crossed.
It was then that Lucy decided to ask a certain question.
"So who is she?" asked Lucy pointing to the other woman in the picture.
Seeing what she was referring to, a sweet smile showed on the Avatar's face.
"This is Asami Sato, my girlfriend." said Korra.
Needless to say, the others were surprised by this.
"Girlfriend?!" asked the entire group.
"Yes. Is there a problem?" asked Korra with an arched eyebrow, as she was a bit used to people accepting her relationship with another woman, but she wasn't sure how they would take it in that world.
"N-No. There isn't. You just surprised us, that's all." said Lucy raising her hands in defense and fixing the possible misunderstanding.
"You mean in this world it's kind of normal?" asked Korra.
"Not quite, but something like it. In fact, Wendy has a girlfriend too." said Charle, surprising the Avatar and embarrassing the dragon slayer in the sky a bit.
"You have a girlfriend?" asked Korra a little surprised that Wendy had a girlfriend.
"Y-Yes." said Wendy with an embarrassed blush and a sweet smile. "Her name is Sherria and she's a member of the Lamia Scale guild. Even though we're from different guilds, we usually go on missions together and even spend our free time together."
"As long as you're happy together, that's all that matters." said Korra.
"Thank you." said Wendy.
"What can you tell us about her?" asked Gray.
"Well, unlike the others, she's not a bender, but despite that, she's strong, smart and a good fighter. Plus, she's the CEO of Future Industries, the largest technology company in the world. Most of the vehicles used in the city are from her company." said Korra.
"Ugh. Vehicles? I get dizzy just thinking about it." said Natsu with a sickly face.
"Strong, smart and also the CEO of a big company. That's what I like in a woman." said Erza crossing her arms with closed eyes and a proud smile.
Unfortunately, her comment caught the attention of the others somewhat.
"Hey Erza, do you realize the way you said that?" asked Lucy.
Erza's eyes widened in confusion and soon after she realized the meaning of what she had said earlier, causing her to blush in embarrassment as she waved her arms in defense.
"I-I didn't mean it that way. I meant in general. I like women to be like that." said Erza.
"Easy, I understand." said Korra trying not to laugh at the little misunderstanding, even Happy covered his mouth with his hands trying to contain his laughter.
"You seem to love her a lot." said Wendy.
"Yes, I do." said Korra whose smile slowly faded at the memory of being in another world away from her, something the celestial mage noticed.
"Don't worry." began Lucy placing her hand over Korra's. "We'll do our best to get you back to your world. If she loves you as much as you love her, I'm sure she'll be waiting for you to come back."
"Thank you." said Korra with a small smile grateful for her new friend's words of encouragement.
"Well, now that we're done with this, there's one thing I've been meaning to tell you." said Natsu with a toothy grin.
"And what's that?" asked Korra.
The next instant, Natsu stood on the table and pointed at the Avatar.
"Korra, fight me!" exclaimed Natsu drawing the attention of the entire guild.
"Wait, what? Why do you want me to fight you?" asked Korra in confusion.
"You have mind-blowing power. You demonstrated it during that mission yesterday and that got me excited. I want to test my power against yours in a fight!" declared Natsu.
"Natsu, don't say something like that so suddenly!" said Lucy scolding her friend.
"Okay." said Korra surprising both the celestial mage and the rest. "If that's what you want, I won't mind fighting you."
"YES!" shouted Natsu in joy as he expelled fire from his mouth at the excitement of fighting the Avatar.
"I can't believe Korra agreed to fight him!" said Charle.
"Usually people usually push you back or knock you down with a punch." said Happy remembering the times his friend would ask someone strong to fight him, only to end up knocked to the ground instantly.
"While we're at it. I'd like to fight you too." said Erza, surprising everyone, as it was very rare to see the redhead challenge someone to a fight.
"You too, Erza?" asked Lucy surprised at that.
"If she's in, so am I." said Gray.
"Hey! Get in line, ice princess! I'm going first!" exclaimed Natsu.
In the next instant, both mages' foreheads touched each other as they looked at each other with an aura of hatred around each other.
"No way. If you go first, then the fight will last less than it takes Happy to swallow a fish." said Gray.
"Pss. Me you put me in, huh?" commented Happy.
"At least I'll last a lot longer than you would." said Natsu.
"Hey, if you all want to fight, you can fight together." said Korra, leaving the others even more surprised.
"Wait, you want the three of them to fight against you?" asked Lucy.
"I've faced very strong enemies before. Besides, this way everyone will get their fair share of the fight." said Korra.
"Good idea. In that case, Natsu, Gray and I will fight you as a team." said Erza.
"Uh... Can I join too?" asked Wendy nervously.
"You too, Wendy?" asked Lucy in shock at the dragon slayer joining.
"Well, it might be fun. And the truth is, I'd like to fight her too." said Wendy.
"Are you sure about this, Korra? They're all very strong." said Lucy worried about her new friend.
"Don't worry, I'll be able to handle it." said Korra smiling confidently.
Seeing that everyone was on board with what seemed like a ridiculous idea, she had no choice but to go along with it.
"Alright. Then I'll join in too." said Lucy signing up for the fight against the Avatar, partly to keep things from getting worse and partly because she was curious about her new friend's abilities in a real fight.
"Alright, let's go fight!" exclaimed Natsu followed by cheers from the other members who were excited about the fight.
Later, they all found themselves at the back of the guild, at the edge of the sea. Korra and Team Natsu were in the combat zone, with the Avatar in front of the team of mages. Next to the combat zone, near the entrance, were the other guild members eager to witness the combat of the moment.
"Heh. I have to hand it to that girl, she's got some guts agreeing to fight them all at once." said Gajeel.
"She must have a lot of confidence in her abilities." said Levy.
"Yes, but she mustn't let her guard down, as taking on five wizards at once can be tricky even for someone powerful." said Lily.
"Do you really approve of this match, master?" asked Mirajane.
"Both they and Korra have agreed to the terms of the match, so I cannot deny it. However, if the situation calls for it, I will interfere." said Makarov.
"That reassures me." said Lisanna.
"Fighting Natsu, Gray and Erza at the same time. Now that's manly!" exclaimed Elfman.
"But Korra is a woman." said Mirajane.
"Come on, Gray! Juvia will be rooting for you!" exclaimed Juvia cheering on her crush.
"Bets! Bets! Place your bets!" announced Cana just as Macao and Wakaba approached her.
"I bet 300 jewels that Korra defeats them all!" said Macao.
"Well I'll bet 200 jewels that Korra uses all four elements in the duration of the fight." said Wakaba.
"Is that so? Well, that's up to you." said Cana accepting the two men's bets.
Makarov took a few steps forward.
"Listen to me well! I want a clean and fair duel! If I see the slightest incident, I will call off the fight immediately! Understood?" asked Makarov directing his gaze to both sides, he saw that everyone gave him a nod in acceptance.
"You may stand down if this gets the better of you." said Lucy with concern.
"I will, don't worry." said Korra positioning herself to fight.
Makarov raised his hand high in the air.
"Let the fight begin!" declared Makarov bringing his hand down in an axe swing.
Natsu slammed his two fists together.
"Fine, I'll strike the first blow!" said Natsu starting to inhale air.
"Wait, Natsu!" said Erza wanting to stop the attack.
"Fire Dragon's Roar!" shouted Natsu firing, from his mouth, a blast of fire towards the Avatar.
Using firebending, Korra manipulated the blast of fire to spin around them and then send it back towards them, forcing them to jump aside to dodge the attack.
"You idiot! Have you forgotten that Korra can bend fire?" asked Gray scolding his friend.
"Shut up! I haven't forgotten!" replied Natsu.
"Yes, he has forgotten." thought everyone else at the same time, even Korra.
"Let's see if she can handle this." said Natsu wrapping his fist in fire and charging towards her. "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" shouted Natsu directing his fist towards her, but Korra also wrapped her fist in fire and impacted it against Natsu's fist of fire, causing a wave of wind.
Taking advantage of that, Korra swung her other spleen, causing a pillar to emerge from the ground beneath Natsu, striking him and sending him backwards.
"Ice-Make: Ice Cannon!" shouted Gray creating over his shoulder an ice bazooka with which he shot an ice missile, but Korra turned the missile into water and then into several icicles which she shot back at the ice mage. "Ice-Make: Shield!" shouted Gray creating an ice shield with which he protected himself from attack.
Before the Avatar could make another move...
"Sky Dragon's Claw!" shouted Wendy appearing in front of her with her leg wrapped in air intending to strike her.
Korra managed to put her arms in front of her as a shield to block it, but the attack was so strong that it pushed her back quite a bit, as well as making her groan from the pain caused.
Quickly, she began to launch fireballs towards the sky dragon slayer, but Natsu got in the way and devoured the fireballs, much to Korra's surprise, as she had momentarily forgotten about the dragon slayers' other ability.
Natsu let out a small burp after devouring every last flame.
"Thank you for the food. Your fire is better than I imagined. Now..." began Natsu before leaping high into the air. "Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!" shouted Natsu emitting lines of fire from his arms to look like wings and spinning to impact them on the Avatar.
But she acted quickly and launched a blast of wind so powerful that it extinguished the dragon slayer's fire and sent him flying backwards.
"Ice-Make: Lance!" shouted Gray throwing several ice lances at her, but again, Korra turned the spears into water and turned it into a stream of water which she threw back at them, forcing them to move to the side to dodge it.
Wendy quickly lunged towards her as she wrapped her fist in air.
"Sky Dragon's Crushing Fang!" shouted Wendy throwing her fist forward to hit her, but Korra raised a stone wall so thick in time that it managed to resist the impact.
After that, Korra broke the wall into several stones which she then hurled towards them like a machine gun. The three mages dodged some while the others shattered them with fire, ice, and wind attacks.
By the time they were done with all the stones, their faces were filled with surprise when they saw that Korra had used waterbending on the water in her canteen to create water tentacles.
Before they could react, Korra wrapped the tentacles around their legs and, with an arm motion, lifted them high into the air before sending them crashing to the ground, creating a small crater in the process.
"That's it! I'm going to end this!" exclaimed Natsu before launching himself like a missile as his body was covered in fire. "Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!" shouted Natsu approaching towards the Avatar.
Korra prepared to bend the fire of the attack, but when Natsu was within striking distance of her and as she was about to use her powers, Natsu extinguished the flames that engulfed him, leaving the Avatar very surprised as he grinned mischievously, as she wouldn't be able to bend his attacks if there was no fire involved.
Before she could react, Natsu punched her in the face so hard that it sent her flying over the edge of the cliff, into the water in the process.
Onlookers were shocked to see Korra end up like that. For a moment, they worried that she might come out unscathed and were about to go check it out, but a gesture from the master stopped them, a sign that he felt it wasn't over.
"Yes! HAHA! I won! I won! I beat the Avatar! Yes!" exclaimed Natsu celebrating his victory, but while he was happy, the other two were worried and not in the way the onlookers were before.
"Hey... Natsu. You just threw Korra in the water, didn't you?" asked Gray causing the fire dragon slayer to stop his celebration.
"Yeah. So what's up with that?" asked Natsu.
"Natsu, Korra is the bender of the four elements." said Wendy.
Natsu was still confused until then, he heard a water noise behind him at the same time he noticed the others had shocked and amazed faces.
Turning around, he was horrified when he saw Korra on top of a giant water tornado she had formed.
Before anyone could react, Korra launched herself, along with the water tornado, towards the three mages. The impact caused the water from the tornado to splash all over the place and a little on the spectators. By the time everyone looked to the combat zone, they were shocked when they saw Korra standing in front of Natsu, Gray and Wendy who were knocked down and unconscious on the ground.
Korra moved her hands to shake off the water just as she heard a pair of footsteps approaching. Turning to the side, she saw Erza approaching her.
"Impressive. For a moment there I thought you couldn't handle all three of us." said Erza.
"I was wondering when you were going to show up." said Korra.
"I wanted to test your level fighting them and now that you've proven it..." started Erza before making a sword appear in her hand out of nowhere and pointing it at her. "It's time for my turn."
"Go ahead." said Korra positioning herself to fight.
Korra was the first to attack as she caused giant stalagmites to erupt from the ground in the redhead's direction, but she leapt upwards to dodge it while heading towards the Avatar.
Now that she was no longer facing a dragon slayer, Korra could safely use her elemental attacks, so she launched a blast of fire at Erza taking advantage of her being in the air, but Erza used her sword to cut through the fire like butter, surprising the Avatar.
Korra had to refocus to leap to the side to dodge Erza's incoming sword in time, though she couldn't dodge Erza's kick shortly after. Korra rolled a bit on the ground before quickly getting up.
"You're not doing too bad at all." said Erza.
"Thank you. I've practiced over the years." said Korra.
"That's good, but let's see if you can handle this. Requip! Heaven's Wheel Armor!" shouted Erza as her armor changed completely. She then soared high into the air before several blades appeared around her as they spun in circles. "Dance, my blades!" exclaimed Erza raising her arm, causing the swords to stop spinning and point towards Korra. When she lowered her arm, the blades lunged toward her.
But then, Korra stretched her arms toward the incoming swords and they stopped in mid-air. Needless to say, everyone, including Erza, was in complete shock. Swinging her arms to each side, Korra, pushed the swords away and then, with a wave of her hands, pulled Erza straight towards her as if she were pulling her with a rope. As she approached her, Korra kicked her in the chest sending her backwards, though she managed to land on her feet.
"How... How did you do that?" asked Erza still shocked by what had happened.
The onlookers were the same way she was. Korra was supposed to be able to bend all four elements. Then how the hell could she do that with Erza's swords?
"Oh, didn't I mention that?" asked Korra with an amused smile at the others' reaction. "I can also metalbend."
"Metalbend?!" asked everyone present in shock at the information revealed.
Gajeel swallowed a bit of saliva. At first he thought he could handle her due to him being the iron dragon slayer, but now that he knew she could manipulate metal, he wasn't so sure about it anymore.
"I have to admit it. I didn't expect such a thing." said Erza.
"So, do you give up?" asked Korra with a small smile.
"Quite the opposite." said Erza before causing her armor to fade from a glow so that instead, she appeared with a sword, a red colored hakama with flame decoration on the bottom of it, bandages covering her chest, no shoes and her hair tied by a high ponytail. "That makes it more interesting."
Erza quickly lunged towards the Avatar as she did the same. As the two were about to meet, Erza raised her sword while Korra covered her hand with stones. Before the redhead's sword could come down any further, Korra managed to grab it with a stone gauntlet, causing the two to begin a duel of strength.
"You're definitely good." said Erza with a smile.
"Thanks. You're not bad yourself." said Korra with another smile before inhaling air and blowing a gust of wind that pushed the redhead away from her.
Suddenly, before Erza could do anything, Korra manipulated the metal of the sword, turning it into liquid metal and bringing it towards her before turning it into a sharp blade and sending it back, but Erza moved to the side to dodge it.
Seeing that she could use neither her armor nor her metal weapons, Erza decided to run towards it unarmed. At that moment, the two entered into a fist and kicking combat.
Some blows were blocked while others were dodged, but Erza managed to land a few blows on the Avatar, though she kept up the fight. When Korra found the right moment, she managed to land a kick to her chest that pushed her back and before she could react, Korra stepped in front of her with her fist wrapped in air and punched her in the face, sending her bouncing several times on the ground until she stopped.
Erza slowly began to get up as she groaned from the pain and before she could do anything else, Korra lifted a pillar of earth that hit her in the jaw, causing her to fall backwards and unconscious.
The spectators couldn't believe what they were seeing, not only had she defeated Natsu, Gray and Wendy, but she had also defeated Erza, one of the strongest in the guild. They were beginning to wonder what the Avatar's level would be.
Korra began to breathe heavily, as facing four mages in a row was wearing her out quite a bit, not to mention the damage taken during the fight. Unfortunately, the fight wasn't quite over, as there was still one last opponent left.
It would be a lie if Lucy said she wasn't nervous. The fact that Korra defeated four of her friends was something that left her completely shocked. Part of her wanted to give up, as she didn't think she had a chance against her, but she steeled herself, as she wanted to show Korra that she was strong too.
So, with determination and courage, she took a couple of steps forward to stand in front of her new friend.
"You know? I was looking forward to fighting you." said Korra.
"Funny. For some reason, I was expecting the same thing too." said Lucy.
"From what you saw, I'm not an easy opponent." said Korra.
"I know, but I still don't plan on giving up." began Lucy before pulling out a golden key. "I will fight you with all my might!"
"I wouldn't ask for anything else." said Korra positioning herself to fight her new friend.
The atmosphere of the fight had suddenly become very serious, with both opponents determined to give it their all.
"Open the Gate of the Golden Bull! Taurus!" cried Lucy as, out of a sudden brightness, a humanoid cow carrying an axe appeared.
"Moooo!" voiced Taurus.
"Star Dress! Taurus Form!" shouted Lucy quickly as her clothing changed completely accompanied by a whip. "Let's attack together, Taurus!"
"With muuuuch pleasure." said Taurus slamming his axe into the ground, generating a crack that went straight towards Korra, but she jumped to the side to avoid him.
Quickly, Korra created around her several icicles of ice that she threw towards the celestial mage, but she was able to swing the whip fast enough to break all the icicles, much to the Avatar's surprise.
After destroying the last one, Lucy leapt towards Korra with her arm pulled back to strike. Korra had to propel herself with a blast of air to escape in time from the area where Lucy impacted her fist, the force of which was so great that it created a huge crater.
Before she could react, Korra threw a wave of fire at her that exploded on impact, sending her backwards. Suddenly, a shadow loomed over her and she turned around to see Taurus behind her with his axe raised. Out of reflex, she jumped to the side, but when the axe hit the ground, there was an explosion that struck Korra, sending her backwards.
After both opponents got up, Lucy slammed her whip into the ground, generating an earth wave that headed towards the Avatar, but she slammed her fists into the ground, sending another earth wave. Both waves collided with each other, causing an explosion that sent dust all over the field, forcing everyone to cover their eyes.
"You did well, Taurus. Get some rest." said Lucy taking the key from Taurus.
"Would you give me a kiss before...?" began Taurus with hearts in his eyes before disappearing.
"What's the matter? Wasn't he strong enough?" asked Korra.
"No. I just want all my friends to have their share of the fight." said Lucy with a smile. "Open the Gate of the Scorpion! Scorpio!" shouted Lucy summoning another spirit.
"Oh, yeah!" said Scorpio.
"Star Dress! Scorpio Form!" cried Lucy changing back into her garb.
"Yeah! I've been waiting to be a part of this! Sand Buster!" shouted Scorpius shooting a tornado of sand from his tail.
Korra raised a wall of air with which she managed to blow the sand past her sides, but soon after, the sand began to circle around her, trapping her in a sand tornado.
Before she could think of anything else, Lucy suddenly appeared in front of her and kicked her before disappearing. Then she reappeared elsewhere and gave Korra another kick. Korra had to raise her arms to protect herself as Lucy kicked her in several places while disappearing and appearing elsewhere.
Realizing that Lucy was using the sand to greatly increase her speed, Korra stretched her arms out to either side, sending a wave of wind so powerful that it unraveled the sand tornado and pushed Lucy into the air.
Generating fire in her feet, she propelled herself towards Lucy and kicked her in the stomach sending her down, though Scorpius managed to catch her before she hit the ground.
"Are you okay?" asked Scorpius.
"I am, thank you." said Lucy getting up.
Suddenly, just as Korra landed on the ground, the ground beneath her broke, causing her to fall into a hole.
"But what the...? How did you...?" asked Korra confused about it.
"Let's just say, during the sand tornado thing, I took the opportunity to call for extra help." said Lucy showing another key.
At that moment, coming out of the ground, a maiden appeared.
"I set the trap as you asked, princess. Is it time for punishment?" asked Virgo.
Korra was slightly surprised, as she hadn't expected that she could summon two spirits at the same time.
"For now, you may go." began Lucy before both spirits disappeared. And now... Star Dress! Virgo Form!" shouted Lucy changing her outfit again before disappearing underground.
Before Korra could think of anything, Lucy popped out of the ground as she threw an uppercut at her, sending her flying into the air before landing on her back on the ground.
With a groan of effort and pain, Korra rose from the ground and using waterbending, made all the water in the canteen cover her arms, turning them into large water tentacles.
She launched one to strike Lucy, but she jumped aside to dodge it. However, Korra reacted faster than her and wrapped her other tentacle around her leg to launch it into the air before slamming both tentacles into her, sending her crashing to the ground.
Lucy stood up with a groan and both opponents looked at each other as she breathed heavily from exhaustion and pain received.
"I think... it's time to end this, don't you?" asked Lucy with a smile.
"I was thinking the same thing." said Korra with another smile.
"Star Dress! Leo Form!" shouted Lucy as her attire changed once again.
Lucy's leg began to wrap itself in a layer of light as Korra covered her fist with rocks which she then wrapped in fire.
Both opponents lunged at each other as they prepared to launch their attacks and the moment the kick of light impacted against the fist of burning rock, there was an explosion so large that it generated a wave of wind and a curtain of smoke.
The spectators stood in suspense watching the smokescreen waiting for the outcome. By the time the smoke cleared, everyone saw Korra and Lucy lying face up on the ground facing each other.
"The battle is over! I declare the victory a draw!" announced Makarov, signaling the end of the fight.
"It really was an intense fight." said Mirajane.
"Yes. Who knew Korra was so strong." said Lisanna.
"Oh, Gray. Even though you lost, Juvia will still love you." said Juvia spurting tears like a fountain.
"Honestly, I didn't expect it to end in a draw." said Gajeel crossing his arms.
"Well, considering she's faced four mages before facing Lucy, she was already pretty exhausted." said Levy.
"Which means it could have ended up with Korra's victory." said Lily.
"By the way, you owe me money." said Cana pointing to a certain duo of men.
"WHAT?" they both asked at the same time.
"You bet that Korra would beat them all, but she ended up tying with Lucy." began Cana pointing at Macao before pointing at Wakaba. "And you bet that Korra would use all four elements during the fight, but she used metalbending. So pay up." said Cana.
With a groan of sorrow and sadness, the two men handed the card mage the betting money.
With what little strength she had left, Korra managed to sit up on the floor, as did Lucy.
"Are you okay?" asked Korra.
"Heh. That's what I should ask." said Lucy with a small laugh.
"You fought well. You're stronger than I thought." said Korra.
"Thanks, you're strong too. Although it should be noted that you fought the others before you fought me." said Lucy.
"It's possible." said Korra before the two girls laughed lightly.
"That was an awesome fight." said Mirajane as she and other members approached.
"You both did very well. I can tell you gave it your all." said Lisanna.
"By the way, how is it possible that you can bend metal? Juvia thought that benders could only bend the four elements." said Juvia curiously.
"Technically, metalbending is a form of bending based on earthbending, since metal has its origin in the earth. And not only that, Mako, who is a firebender, can shoot lightning, and Bolin, who is an earthbender, can bend lava." explained Korra.
"Wow, your world never ceases to impress me." said Levy.
"If you know how to bend metal..." began Gajeel before pulling something out of his pocket and showing it to the Avatar, revealing it to be a pair of screws. "Would you be able to turn these into one?"
Korra was confused by the iron dragon slayer's request, but decided to accept it.
With her metalbending, she made the screws bend into each other and fuse into a metal bar before handing it to Gajeel, who looked curiously at the bar before taking a bite and savoring it like a taster.
"Heh. Not bad." said Gajeel with a toothy grin.
"Better not use Korra as a food dispenser." commented Lily.
After that, with the help of the others, Korra and Team Natsu were taken to the infirmary where they were to be treated for their injuries received in the fight, a fight that would undoubtedly never be forgotten in the guild's history.
