(The entire scene opens in Charlene Montano's second grade classroom.)
Charlene Montano: "Okay, students. let's all begin with multiplication problems. what's forty-six times fifty-three?"
(Lana raises her right hand.)
Charlene Montano: "yes, Lana?"
Lana: "two thousand four hundred and thirty-eight."
Charlene Montano: "correct, Lana."
(There's a knock, knock, knock on Charlene Montano's second grade classroom door.)
Charlene Montano: "oh my gosh. we have ourselves a new student."
(Charlene Montano opens the door to let Adelaide join the rest of the entire class.)
Adelaide: "hi there, you guys."
Charlene Montano: "students? meet and say hello to Adelaide Chang."
Adelaide: "Carl and I just moved here. and we already know Lisa, Lana and Lola and the rest of Lincoln's older and younger sisters."
Charlene Montano: "now, Adelaide. tell us a little more about yourself."
Adelaide: "well? I really love playing pretend and having pizza with pineapple chunks and super mega s'mores and Rainbow Fruity Crunch. and I'm also super good at ballet dancing, martial arts karate, dancing, singing, firefly catching and whistling as well too."
(Adelaide begins whistling triumphantly. much to their surprise and amazement.)
Charlene Montano: "wow. that's real super impressive."
Lana: "hey, Adelaide."
Lola: "right after our grand tour of the entire school, you wanna see the grand tour of our house and our bedroom?"
Adelaide: "why sure. of course I would."
Lana and Lola: "then it's a deal."
(Lana, Lola, Lisa and Carl are giving Adelaide the grand tour of the Royal Woods Elementary School building.)
Lana: "over there's the water fountain."
Lola: "and the young men and ladies' washrooms."
Lisa: "and over there's the school cafeteria kitchen and lunchroom."
Carl: "and over there's Principal Huggins' office."
Lisa: "trust us. you don't ever wanna get sent there for detention or expelled."
(The entire scene goes to the Loud family members' house. and Lana and Lola are showing Adelaide everything they know about.)
Lana: "okay, Adelaide. here's Lincoln's bedroom. and over there's Lori and Leni's bedroom."
Lola: "and there's Lynn and Lucy's bedroom, Luna and Luan's bedroom and Lisa and Lily's bedroom."
(They continue walking around. from the living room, the kitchen and the dining room.)
Lisa: "and there's the living room where Lincoln sometimes plays his video gamer or where we watch our most favorite television shows."
Lana: 'and there's the kitchen where our dad prepares a breakfast, lunch and dinner meal."
Lola: "and over there's the dining room."
Adelaide: "wow. thanks a bunch."
Carl: "now we're beginning to know everything about Royal Woods the way we understood about Great Lakes City back in the past years."
Adelaide: "and with my mother a hundred percent pregnant, Sid and I understand what are soon to be new brother or sister's really going through. but I don't even know anything about being the next brave, fearless and heroic sister."
Lincoln: "I got an idea. maybe Sid can show you. since she's your brave, fearless and heroic sister."
Adelaide: "thanks a bunch, Lincoln. now I'm not gonna need to worry about anything in particular."
Lola: "let's go then."
(They all walk around on their way to the Chang family members' house.)
Adelaide: "I need your help and advice right now, Sid. our mother's a hundred percent pregnant. and I need to understand about being the next brave, fearless and heroic sister."
Sid: "say no more, Adelaide. I'll show all of your baby photos to you. and I'll explain everything you need to know about taking super good care of babies and little tykes."
Adelaide: "thanks a bunch. let's go."
(Sid takes out a photo album of Adelaide's baby and little tyke memories.)
Sid: "here are photos of you when you were a baby and I was seven years old when we lived in Gunther Town before Great Lakes City and eventually Royal Woods. feeding you your very first bite of mashed carrots, strained peas and boiled beets. (She goes right over to another photo of Baby Adelaide in her exersaucer.) here's you in your exersaucer. (She goes right over to another photo of Baby Adelaide in her crib.) here's you in your crib. (she goes right over to another photo of Baby Adelaide in her baby carriage.) and here's you in your baby carriage."
Adelaide: "wow. I was one year old back in those days and years."
Sid: "now let me show and explain to you about taking super good care of babies and little tykes. number one: keep them away from hot warm stoves and electric appliances. number two: look out for little tiny objects. they can really choke to death on those things. and number three: never leave them outta your sight."
Adelaide: "thanks a bunch. now I understand all about taking super good care of our soon to be baby brother or sister."
Sid: "you're welcome. now, Lana, Lola and Carl, you 3 go back home to your separate houses. come on, Adelaide. let's help get everything prepared for our mom's baby shower party before our Mom and Dad come back home from work at the zoo and railway museum."
Lana: "okay."
Lola: "bye now, Adelaide."
Carl: "super good luck with your soon to be new brother or sister."
(Lana, Lola and Carl make their leave to go back to their own separate houses. and Sid and Adelaide help to prepare for Becca's baby shower party.)
Sid: "so far, Adelaide. ever since we moved from Great Lakes City to here, the Lawthornes have moved into the former Santiago-Casagrande apartment and the Albertsons moved into our former apartment as well too."
Adelaide: "but at least the metro-substation where our daddy used to work at and the other zoo where our mother used to work at there are doing okay for now. Bitsy, the marmosets and those other zoo critters have lots of super good friends there from where we used to live."
(Meanwhile in Royal Woods Park, Sid and Adelaide are telling Lincoln, Clyde, Ronnie Anne and Carl about the super exciting news.)
Sid: "and there I was, showing Adelaide her baby photos."
Adelaide: "and I learned everything about being the next brave, fearless and heroic sister."
Lincoln: "wow, Adelaide."
Ronnie Anne: "that's real super impressive."
Clyde: "we're super excited for you."
Sid: "so far, Adelaide and I are about to go baby shower gift shopping for our mom's baby shower party. so we're off to the Mercado."
Adelaide: "right before it closes."
Lincoln: "okay."
Clyde: "super good luck on your baby shower shoppin'."
(Sid and Adelaide make their leave on their way to the Royal Woods Mercado. and when they get there, Bobby asks if they need any help to find what they're looking for.)
Bobby: "hey, Sid and Adelaide. what can I do for you two here?"
Sid: "our mom's having her baby shower party."
Adelaide: "and we're looking for something that we can make and give to her."
Bobby: "follow me. right this way."
(Sid and Adelaide follow Bobby right over to the gifts and cards aisle. and Adelaide grabs a six pack of red, blue, green, yellow, purple and pink cardstock paper.)
Sid: "just the thing we need for our mom's baby shower party."
(Sid and Adelaide go right over to the checkout counter. and they pay for the six pack cardstock paper. and they head on back home to their house. then they take turns using colored pencils and marker pens. and they decorate the blue baby shower card that reads: Congratulations on our soon to be brother or sister. we really love you more than anything. love from, Sid, Daddy and Adelaide on it.)
Sid: "she's gonna really love it when we give it to her at her baby shower party."
(Adelaide takes the well designed baby shower card right up with her to her bedroom. and she puts it right on her night stand.)
Adelaide: "it'll be safe and secure right here."
(Adelaide exits her bedroom. and she helps Sid to get everything prepared. including putting the decorations and congratulations! banner up. and later that day, they're all at Becca's baby shower party.)
Rita: "oh my gosh. this looks real super beautiful."
Lynn Loud Sr.: "sure does."
Becca: "and look how wonderful our two daughters decorated the entire house."
Stanley: "I agree with my dear sweet wife here. especially our two daughters as well too."
Carlota: "Mrs. Chang. thanks a bunch for inviting us to your baby shower party."
Becca: "I'm so thrilled you guys are all here right now."
Rosa (presenting Becca her baby shower gift): "Becca. Ahà tienes. open mine up. and see what Hector and I got for you."
(Becca opens Rosa's baby shower gift. and she finds a baby formula container for Sid and Adelaide's soon to be new baby brother or sister.)
Becca: "oh, Rosa. thanks a bunch."
Rosa: "de nada."
Hector: "here you guys go. strawberry-cherry cupcakes."
Carlos: "enjoy your snack treats."
(Hector, Carlos and Frida give Lana, Lola and Adelaide strawberry-cherry cupcakes.)
Lana: "don't you want two of those strawberry-cherry cupcakes, Adelaide?"
Adelaide: "no thanks. I'm on a healthier diet. and one's enough for me."
(Cut to Lily and Carlitos about to bump right into Becca's pregnant stomach.)
Lynn Loud Sr.: "whoa. watch out there, Lily cakes."
Frida: "you too, Carlitos honey pie."
(Cut back to Sid and Adelaide giving Becca the baby shower card they made earlier.)
Sid: "here you go, Mom."
Adelaide: "it's the card we made for you earlier."
Becca (reading the baby shower gift card): Congratulations on our soon to be brother or sister. we really love you more than anything. love from, Sid, Daddy and Adelaide.
(Sid and Adelaide are now satisfied.)
Becca: "oh. thanks a bunch, girls. I really appreciate this."
Sid: "you're welcome."
(Later on, right after Becca had gone into labor, Felicia's now with Sid and Adelaide during their overnight party.)
Felicia: "bye now, Becca and Stanley dears!"
Adelaide: "have super good luck on your trip to the hospital!"
(Becca and Stanley drive around and make their leave on their way to Royal Woods Hospital.)
Felicia: "what do you two girls wanna do today?"
Adelaide: "nature walking in the park."
(The entire scene goes to Sid, Adelaide and Felicia walking around in Royal Woods park.)
Sid: "hey. wow. this reminds us of back when we used to live in Great Lakes City and we walked around the entire park and nature center."
Adelaide: "and this also reminds me of our mother's nature documentaries."
(The Chang sisters and Felicia continue walking around, looking at all of the wild birds and insects.)
Felicia: "take a super good look at all of those wild birds and insects."
Adelaide: "and flower plants as well too."
(Sid takes a couple of photos with her smartphone.)
Sid: "these are gonna be super good to show to our new baby brother or sister."
(Later that evening back home in the Chang family members' apartment, Sid and Adelaide are now asleep in their separate bedrooms while Felicia's asleep in Becca and Stanley's bedroom. and the very next morning, Sid and Adelaide are playing around in Royal Woods Park with Lincoln, Clyde, Ronnie Anne, Sid, Lana, Lola and Carl as well too.)
Lincoln: "so what are you girls gonna name your new brother or sister?"
Sid: "if it's a little sweet boy, we would name him Melbourne."
Adelaide: "and if it's a little sweet girl, we would name her Canberra."
Sid: "but just in case, we would give either him or her a middle name. Toby or Victoria."
Lana: "boy oh boy."
Lola: "I can hardly wait to meet him or her when you come back home the hospital."
(Felicia walks right up to Sid and Adelaide.)
Felicia: "Adelaide? you got a telephone call from your father at the hospital."
(Felicia gives Adelaide her smartphone.)
Adelaide (on Felicia's smartphone): "hello? Daddy? is that really you?"
Stanley (on the Royal Woods Hospital telephone): "yes, Adelaide. of course it's me. you and your brave, fearless and heroic sister need to come down here right away. your mother's about to have the baby boy or girl any single time soon."
Adelaide (still on Felicia's smartphone): "oh my gosh. thanks a bunch for telling me that, Daddy. bye now. see you when Grandma Felicia, Sid and I get there."
(They both hang Felicia's smartphone and the Royal Woods Hospital telephone up.)
Felicia (getting right into her car with Sid and Adelaide): "let's go, girls. we don't wanna burn traffic before your mother has the baby boy or girl."
(They all drive around on their way to Royal Woods Hospital.)
Lana: "oh yeah. the hospital."
Lola: "all of us including Lily were born there."
(Cut to Sid, Adelaide and Felicia pulling right up at the Royal Woods Hospital building and to Becca doing her breathing.)
Bruce: "that's it, sis. keep it coming. all the way."
(Dr. Willard enters Becca's hospital room.)
Dr. Willard: "well, Bruce. how's your sister holding up?"
Bruce: "she's doing super good. but the aches and pains aren't too far apart."
(Cut back to Sid, Adelaide, Felicia, Stanley, Lincoln, Clyde, Ronnie Anne, Stella and the others in the waiting room, sharing snack foods and mixed berry fruit punch.)
Lana: "hey, Adelaide."
Lola: "when your new brother or sister's born, we're gonna introduce Lily and Carlitos to him and her."
Adelaide: "okay. super good idea."
Lincoln: "I agree that this is the exact same hospital where me, Lily and my other sisters were born a couple of months and years ago."
Lisa: "at least we're not gonna put up with that super annoying toy fox and Cheer Up, Baby song again."
Adelaide: "thank goodness I wasn't even there. otherwise that super annoying singing fox's musical notes would've been vibrating in my bellybutton."
(A few minutes later on, Dr. Willard shows up in the waiting room.)
Stanley: "well, Doctor Willard? is it a little sweet boy? or a little sweet girl?"
Dr. Willard: "it's a little sweet boy. come right in and see for yourself."
Sid: "come on, Adelaide. let's go see our new brother."
(Sid, Adelaide, Stanley and Felicia follow Dr. Willard on their way to Becca's hospital room.)
Becca: "Sid? Adelaide? we would like for the two of you girls to meet your new baby brother. Melbourne Toby Chang."
(Melbourne's got Sid's eyes and Adelaide's nose and Stanley's mouth and Becca's hair color.)
Melbourne: [Cooing And Giggling In Delight]
Adelaide: "oh my gosh. we finally have a baby brother."
Sid: "hi there, Melbourne."
(The others come in to visit as well too.)
Laird: "hey wow. cheddar twists. my most absolute favorite."
Stanley: "go ahead, Laird. help yourself."
(Laird helps himself to some cheddar twists.)
Adelaide: "Mother? Daddy? can I hold Melbourne, please? I'll be super careful with him the way Sid was with me when I was his age."
Stanley: "sure, Adelaide. of course you can."
Becca: "you can sit in that armchair over there."
(Adelaide goes right over to the pink armchair. and she sits right in it while having her arms out.)
Stanley (placing Melbourne in Adelaide's arms and lap with a safety pillow): "make sure you support his neck and head gently."
Adelaide: "okay. I will."
(Adelaide's now holding Melbourne in her arms and lap while supporting his neck and head gently. and Stanley snaps a photo of Adelaide and Melbourne together as always. and the screen goes black during the ending.)
