James had sneakily checked with the front desk to see when Remus would leave, as he knew Hope would pull something like that, he wasn't a past prankster for nothing of course. After a bit of scolding, James help them lift their things onto the car. There were surprisingly a lot of things although Remus's fairly thought, that two years was a long time too.

True to his words James took them to a fancy little Italian, seeing the car that James had, Remus could see he was doing quite well for himself, his tightly coiled muscles relaxed a little.

They started eating and chatting, Hope took part in the first couple of discussions but seeing how easily Remus and James chatted, she stopped and opted to eat and look at both of them in motherly affection. Leaving the two of them to talk.

James suddenly at him weirdly, as if contemplating something hard.

Remus was surprised, "What wrong?"

"You make me feel like... so similar, why is it so similar."

Remus quickly recalled what he had just said, he has been very as careful, James can't possibly figure anything out, right? So he laughed and said, "Isn't that what you said? We have a lot of fate."

James shook his head, dissipating the thought. "Yeah. I'm thinking too much into this again, must be because of the same name".
Remus remained stiffened. When has James been so observative?

Fearing that he might think of the past again and come up with another thing to shock him, Remus quickly poured him a glass of beer. "Come on James, drink."

After three rounds of wine, they were both red and slightly drunk.

James asked him, "Rem, what are you planning to do next?"

"Get a job first."

"What do you use to do again?"

Remus turned to Hope and asked interestedly too, "Mom, what did I do before?"

James clapped his head. "Oh, I forgot. You can't remember. Does that mean you have to start all over again"

"I guess so."

Hope was thinking something, her face was a bit stiff, "Um, you used to take pictures for magazines, and then went to work in a car show as a model and so on. You said you wanted to be a celebrity, so did some training course alongside, I told you to do something more practical, but you didn't listen, ah..." Hope stopped, seemed to realize that she has said too much, and lowered her head to eat.

Remus was surprised, so this original owner had a celebrity dream. He did have quite good looks, still, handsome, good-looking boys weren't rare in England. So if there aren't any exceptional or outstanding skills well, working in the entertainment and film industry isn't hard but wanting to be famous is. In all his years in this circle, he had seen so many talented young men and women leaving with nothing. Even if you had talent, without luck it is still useless. Celebrity life may seem interesting but Remus knows firsthand how cruel and heartless it can be.

James smiled, "You want to be a model, that's my field of work, I can help you."

Hope looked up warily, "No, there are so many people who want to be celebrities. But who can really all be one? It's better to just find a stable job."

Remus nodded, "James, I don't want to be a model, I know I'm not that type of material. I know you work for an entertainment company. If you want to help me, could you just introduce me to a job in your company? I can be a stage manager or assistant."

James nodded, "No problem, my boss recently bought a model agency, there's a lot of spare work, as long as you are not afraid of working hard, supporting you and your mother won't be hard."

Remus nodded decisively, "Thanks again." Just like he thought, James would help him find a job, that part of his worries can be resolved. He doesn't know anyone, his past or present life so an immediate source of income is really beneficial. He and his mom still need to eat, after all, the rebirth didn't seem to give him any superpowers sadly.

Hope opened her mouth. Seeing that Remus had made up his mind, she closed it saying nothing more, but her eyes were full of worry.

The three of them finished their meal and came out of the restaurant. It was two in the afternoon with the sun beating down on them. Remus squinted and looked up. Just as a dark cloud came along, blocking the sun. The LED screen that was on the side of the opposite building broadcasted the same advert over and over again, a man stepped out of the pure black background of the advertisement for a luxury watch.

Remus's heart stopped a beat.

He was a man in his mid-twenties, his slim and perfect figure wrapped in a pure white suit, contrasting strongly with the background. He raised his head slightly to reveal a very handsome face, expressionless, with cold silver eyes and a tight lip line that was hard and unapproachable. He had tied a diamond watch around his wrist, and the simple gesture was so elegant and touching that many people passing by turned their heads or stopped keeping their eyes on the man.

A sharp pain shot across his heart and Remus took a deep, breath. His face pale

Sirius Black? Why did he... Why would he be in a commercial? With his background, he could spend his entire life without working. He would find a job he liked, right, didn't he always stuck his nose up at being a model.

Next to him, James huffed, his voice full of resentment.

Remus immediately came to his senses and adjusted his facial expression, afraid that James might see something.

James knew about him and Sirius Black, so James hates him. This fact hasn't changed in two years.

It seems that person's influence and lasting impression on anyone is unable to disappear.

For James, two years have passed, but for Remus, everything that has happened with Sirius was only last week, even his last phone call with him was still very recent, he can still remember it all very clearly. He can recall the taste of his body, his domineering and unreasonable demands, the I do what I want, and if people get hurt in the process that's their problem. "The I do not care about anything" personality, even his smile, his anger, his undoubted love for Lucius Malfoy, are still remembered vividly. The memories he wants to forget, are still for him still so painfully recent. They all say time is the best medicine, well the time he took was too short, he was not ready yet.

He thought that he could start his life again, don't need to see him, to think of him. That failed relationship can be a speck of his past, he didn't expect that just one day after leaving the hospital, he was forced to see him again. And for the foreseeable future, he has to keep seeing.

Hope observed the way both of them was looking at the advertisement board with various degree of expression. She also looked at it and commented, "How can a boy be so good-looking? So pretty?"

James growled harshly and in an uncharacteristic tone contrasting with his usually good-natured personality, barked "Good-looking!" he snorted. "A good-looking bastard is still a bastard!"

Hope looked at him in surprise: "James, do you know him?"

He replied dully, "Yes, I do."

"What's the matter with him? Not a good person?"

James smiled darkly, voice still laced with disdain, "The entertainment circle is very messy, very few good people."

Remus resisted the urge to ask James about Sirius. The less he knew, the easier it would be for him to disappear completely from his life.

The advertisement on the screen faded into another one, Remus was secretly relieved, but the trembling on the tip of his heart did not go. You couldn't blame him, offending and upsetting both Lucius and Sirius, falling off the cliff, these problems, for him, are still fresh in his mind, he needs time, what he needs most is time.

After James took them home, Hope hesitated for a long time before saying, "James, I would invite you to come up and sit down. But I rented this house. It is very shabby, I would feel embarrassed to let you in."
