Ch 3
The next day, there was a news report when I had my friends over at my place stating that Oscorp was going to use a portal that they had made to send people to other planets outside the Solar System. Then at night, there was another news report telling everyone that Fisk had been released from prison on parole and that was a big shocker. Those two events happened almost at the same time which was such a weird coincidence. They had to be linked together somehow. Me, Peter, and Phin suited up and went to the place which was the roof ontop of Oscorp Tower. When we got there, we hid on a balcony and saw a giant circular machine glowing blue and it was connected to a container holding a blue stone.
"What is that?" I asked.
"Looks like a magic blue stone." Peter said.
"Guys, there's something else down there." Phin added.
Peter and I followed her gaze and saw a ship with the Oscorp logo on it in the sky as it was flying toward the portal.
"Ship's locked, ready to deploy." the pilot said.
A technician looked at Norman Osborn who nodded.
"You're ready." the tech said.
The Oscorp spaceship flew toward the portal but just as it was about to hit, a missile streaked through the sky and hit the spaceship. It spiraled out of control but I jumped down and webbed it.
"Miles!" Peter yelled.
The spaceship's engine was firing and almost dragged me off the roof but I pulled back on the webline with all my might. Then I yanked up, losing the web in the process as the spaceship flipped end over end before crashing on it's side and thankfully not exploding. I went over and punched out the cockpit window, dragging the pilot out.
"You okay?" I asked.
The man gave me a thumbs-up.
"Good."
"Spider-Man's here?" said Norman in surprise.
I looked down and saw guys with purple shirts near a truck and one of them had an RPG. I swung off the building and jumped down onto the street, immediately recognizing the enemies. Fisk thugs.
"Hey guys, what's up?" I asked.
"It's that new Spider-Man." one of them said. "Ignore him. Get into the tower. We have to get the stone." another said. They all charged for the tower but I swung ahead of them and zapped some with a Venom Punch.
"Where do you think you're going?" I asked.
Then more guys came out of the truck and tried to get into the tower, too, but I took care of them with punching, webbing them to walls, and zapping them with Venom attacks and Remote Mines. One guy tried to punch but I ducked and webbed him to a lamppost. Another thug fired his machine gun but I dodged and webbed his gun away before knocking him down with a flip kick. A third thug charged but I ran toward him and pushed him into a parked car with a Venom Dash.
"That was easy." I said.
But then another truck slammed through cars before pulling up at Oscorp Tower. More Fisk thugs and 2 Fisk Brutes came in.
"Oh c'mon." I said. "How many people does Fisk have?"
"A lot." Peter replied.
But I had friends, too. Pete and Phin came down and soon all three of us were fighting back-to-back in a circle, taking out thugs with punching, kicking, Venom attacks, and Phin's gadgets which helped a lot. One of the thugs was getting a box and hanging off from the fight for some reason but we were too busy to worry about him. An RPG thug fired at us but we dodged and Phin took him down with a cable before stunning another with her laser. Peter knocked out several others with Web Bombs, sticking them to cars and lampposts. I lifted the stragglers into the air with a Venom Jump before knocking them out with quick combos. The remaining two brutes charged but I dodged the first one's swing and webbed his head before yanking him down. The second one tried to ram me but I jumped over and zapped him with a Venom Smash.
"Finally." Phin said. "Those guys were tough."
But just as she said that, the Fisk thug with the box had found what he was looking for and grabbed a remote stick and pressed the button. A drone flew toward the tower's roof blazingly fast with it's mini-thrusters and came out with the glowing blue stone in it's claws.
"Ughh, seriously?!" Phin asked as Peter webbed the thug with the remote to the ground, but it was useless now. Fisk had gotten what he wanted already.
