Ch 6

When I went to FEAST, there was no sign of my friends and I tried to go to mom but she was busy helping with something else so I went back to my apartment. It was 7:30 at night already and it was mostly empty. Mom was still working at FEAST and she normally came at 7:40 but I found Peter and Phin since mom let them stay over with Ganke this coming summer and they all ran toward me and we had a group-hug.

"Where have you been?" Phin asked as we pulled away.

"I've been asking the same question." Ganke added.

"Yeah, I kept trying to call you and we asked your mom if-" Peter started.

"I'm fine, really, I'm fine." I said. "Uh, so if you're wondering why I was out so long, it's because I found where Kingpin's hiding at and-"

"Really? You know where he's at?" Ganke asked.

"Yeah, it's at a warehouse on 14th Ave." I said.

"Finally, we found the big bad." Phin said. "You did it all by yourself. I'm impressed."
"Uh, thanks." I replied. "Anyway, so there was a weapons auction and he was selling all the weapons leftover from other superhero battles to other criminals and there was also a bunch of rifles powered by the Space Stone."

"The Space Stone, what's that?" Peter asked.

"That blue stone that the drone stole." I explained. "Apparently he's using it to make new weapons."
"Alright, we'll just have to wait and see what's gonna happen tomorrow." Phin said.

"Yeah, now we're just glad you're okay." Peter added and I nodded and smiled a bit. Mom came back and we called it a day, watching Pacific Rim together but I couldn't help but be worried about what was to come.
