Note: The Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty animated films were done by Disney.

Alice was the eighteen year-old sister of Snow White, who was twenty-one. Alice had blonde hair, while Snow White had black hair. They lived in a large castle, along with their father, who was the King. Snow White had quickly fallen in love with a prince, who had saved her life, when she got cursed by a witch. As for Alice, she used to have a disgusted reaction towards romance, when she was growing up. She was too busy, with her daydreaming and imagination, to focus on such things. That didn't mean she didn't changed her mind, as time went on. However, her true feelings were something she kept a secret, even from her own family. Alice had become very close, with Princess Aurora. Aurora was a blonde-haired princess, who was Alice's age and was from a nearby kingdom. Alice and Aurora often visited each-other's kingdoms and they had lots of fun, together.

One thing, that Alice didn't keep a secret, was her visit to Wonderland. Wonderland was a magical place, that she had visited. It was the strangest, but most fascinating place, that she had ever visited. It was a colorful and crazy place, with all sorts of kooky characters, including the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit and more. However, there was also the Red Queen, who tried to bring harm to Alice. Thankfully, Alice didn't get hurt. Snow White and her father were convinced, that Wonderland was just an imaginary world, from Alice's dreams. However, Alice was convinced, that Wonderland was real. Ever since she visited Wonderland, she would constantly talk about the place and all the strange creatures, that she made friends with. A lot of people thought that Alice was bonkers, but she didn't care.

Alice hadn't feeling that great, for the past couple of days. However, Alice was a tough girl, so she claimed she was fine, even when she seemed to be ill. One morning, Alice, Snow White and their father were in the castle's dining room and they were eating their breakfast. Snow White and the King were both concerned, when it came to Alice's health. They stared at Alice, who smiled. Although Alice tried to seem like she was okay, she looked worn-out. Also, she appeared to be a bit disorganized, because she accidentally dropped a bunch of cereal, which landed on her blue nightgown. She nervously chuckled and said, "I'm sorry. I'll try to clean that up." She grabbed a napkin and began wiping cereal off her shoulders. The cereal landed on the floor. She said, "Oh, no." She paused and said, "I'll take care of this."

A butler walked by and said, "I'll clean it up." The waiter got on the floor and was about to start cleaning it. Suddenly, Alice coughed. The cough was so loud that it spooked the butler, who started jumping around.

Alice had a guilty expression on her face, while saying, "I'm sorry."

The butler stopped jumping and started calming down. He said, "It's fine."

The King looked at his youngest daughter, while saying, "At first, I suspected you have a cold and after looking at you, I realize I was right. Go to your room, Alice."

Alice asked, "Am I being grounded?"

The King said, "Of course not. Go into bed. You need to start resting, so you can get better."

Alice replied, "But I just got out of bed."

The King said, "Well, you need to return to your bed."

Alice sighed and replied, "Okay."

Alice went into her bedroom and started laying on her bed. The bed was decorated with pink walls and drawing Alice made, of her Wonderland friends. She also had some rabbit and cat stuffed-animals, which were on her shelves and on her bed. Although she was laying down, she didn't feel like going to sleep. She had just woken up. She felt she had gotten enough hours of sleep. She wanted to go play and let her imagination shine out. Staying in bed felt so boring. She said to herself, "Why do I have to be in this room? I'm fine." She started coughing. She grabbed some tissues and said, "I'm not perfect or anything, but I still feel well enough, to get off this silly bed and start seeing the world. I want to explore a vast amount of places." She sighed and said, "I miss Wonderland. It was the most magical place, that I've ever been to. My family and the staff probably think I'm silly, for believing in Wonderland. They think it's just a fairy-tale and a dream, but I know the truth."

A short time later, Snow White gently knocked on Alice's bedroom door and asked, "Are you awake?"

Alice said, "Yes, you can come in."

Snow White went into the room and saw Alice, who was drawing a picture, while in her bed. Snow White asked, "Do you actually think this is the best time, to be drawing pictures?"

Alice said, "I might be coughing and sneezing, but my hands are feeling fine, so I can still draw. Besides, I'm still in my bed, so I don't think it'll make dad blow his wig off or anything."

Snow White walked closer and asked, "What are you drawing?"

Alice showed her latest drawing, to Snow White. It was a drawing of a rabbit, who was brown and was sitting down, while sipping on tea. Alice explained, "This is the March Hare. He's the Mad Hatter's best friend."

Snow White replied, "Oh, one of your imaginary friends."

Alice said, "He's not imaginary. He's real and so are all the other Wonderland characters, that I told you about."

Snow White patted Alice's head and replied, "You have quite the imagination. You're a creative lady."

Alice folded her arms and said, "Wonderland didn't come from my imagination. It's a real place. I went there, when I was little."

Snow White replied, "And you haven't been there, since then, because it's not real. You're becoming a young adult, Alice. You can't keep believing in such nonsense. I stopped believing in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny, years ago."

Alice said, "Well, those guys are legends and myths."

Snow White replied, "The same thing can be said, for the Mad Hatter and all your Wonderland creations. They're figments of your imagination."

Alice had an offended look on her face, while saying, "Did you just come here, to mock what I believe in?"

Snow White started feeling guilty, while replying, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you. In fact, I want to help you. Is there anything I can do for you?"

Alice shyly asked, "Can you get Aurora, to come by and visit me?"

Snow White raised an eyebrow and asked, "Aurora?"

Alice said, "She's a friend of mine."

Snow White replied, "I know who she is. She's been coming by, so often, that it feels like she lives here. However, it still feels surprising, to know you have a friend, that's not imaginary."

Alice stubbornly said, "All of my friends are real."

Snow White rolled her eyes and replied, "I'll have Aurora come by. In the meantime, you continue your drawing, but I suggest resting."

Alice smirked and responded, "I'm never going to do that."

A few minutes later, Alice was working on another drawing, when she started hearing some noises, that were coming from her window. She walked closer to the window and saw the Mad Hatter and the March Hare. Alice smiled, while saying, "I knew you were real." Alice opened the window.

The Mad Hatter was carrying a teapot, that the Dormouse was sleeping in. He and the March Hare went inside and waved to Alice, who waved back. The Mad Hatter took off his hat and bowed to Alice, while saying, "Greetings, my old friend. What a treat it is, to see you."

Alice replied, "And it's a treat, to see you. It's been so long, since I've last seen you."

The Mad Hatter said, "We were a little worried that you would of forgotten us."

Alice grinned, while replying, "I could never forget that. My Wonderland adventure was the most magical memory, of my childhood. Ever since then, I've been telling my family and friends, about the place."

The Mad Hatter replied, "That sounds nice."

Alice said, "Sadly, nobody seems to believe me."

The Mad Hatter and the March Hare cringed, while the Mad Hatter said, "That's not good. It seems people, these days, only believe things, if they have a bunch of evidence and facts. Evidence and facts happen to be two of my least favorite things, Alice."

The March Hare said, "I'm also not fond of that stuff. It takes the fun out of life."

Alice said, "By the way, I was working on a special drawing. Let me show you." She grabbed the drawing she made, of the March Hare and started showing it to the Hatter and the Hare.

The March Hare had a smug smile on his face, while saying, "This is a very handsome drawing, Alice. I look so good. In fact, I think I could become a model."

The Mad Hatter asked, "A model? Have you gone mad?"

The March Hare replied, "You're the one, who does all the mad stuff. My duty, in Wonderland, is to be the handsome one." The Mad Hatter rolled his eyes.

Alice said, "It's great to see both of you."

The Mad Hatter suddenly remembered that he was still carrying the Dormouse. He and the March Hare often forgot about the Dormouse, because he was often asleep, even during the day. The Mad Hatter said, "There's actually three of us, because the Dormouse is with us."

Alice started looking around the room, while asking, "Where is he? I'm afraid I don't see him."

The Mad Hatter opened the teapot. Alice looked inside and saw the Dormouse, who was still sleeping. The Mad Hatter said, "The Dormouse is a nice fella, but it's easy to forget that, since he's never awake, for the important events."

Alice asked, "How many hours does he sleep for per day?"

The Mad Hatter said, "Fourteen, at least."

Alice replied, "Wow, he sure loves getting his rest. Talk about a sleeping beauty."

The March Hare said, "I look very beautiful, while sleeping." The Mad Hatter shook his head.

Alice said, "I'm so glad you're here, but if I may ask, what brought you here?"

The Mad Hatter explained, "We came, because of you. We heard that you were sick."

Alice had a confused look on her face, while asking, "How did you know that?"

The Mad Hatter replied, "Alice, I have no logical explanation, for anything I say or do, but that's what makes Wonderland so amazing. You don't have to make sense. You don't even have to be normal. You just have to be yourself and have fun."

Alice smiled, while saying, "That does sound nice."

The Mad Hatter said, "So, how can we help you?"

Alice replied, "You guys are true gentlemen, but I'm fine."

The Mad Hatter started dancing around the room, while singing, "Alice, you are sick."

The March Hare looked at his reflection, in Alice's mirror, while singing, "I look slick."

The Mad Hatter grabbed a thermometer, that was in the shape of a hat and put it near Alice, while singing, "Don't try to play a trick. You're as sick as my cousin, Nick. I have another cousin, named Vic."

The March Hare looked at Alice, while singing, "Ignore that hat-loving fool. He acts like rhyming is his tool." He put her on her bed, while singing, "Your bed may not be a stool, but at least it's not a ghoul. When I was in a play, I played a mule."

The Mad Hatter poured Alice some tea, while singing, "Come and have some tea. It's free, so don't worry about paying a fee. Alice, you're as grown up as a bee and your nightgown fits you, to a tee."

The March Hare pushed the Mad Hatter and started dancing on Alice's bed, while singing, "This is a nice bed. I'm no doctor, so you can't call me a med. My favorite color is red and I have a buddy, who's named Ted."

The Mad Hatter hopped onto the bed and started facing the March Hare, while singing, "Your rhymes are a joke. I wish you had a third eye, that I could poke. I felt like cringing, when you spoke. You think you're a young rabbit, but you sound like an old folk."

The March Hare angrily sang, "Out of my way, you silly man. Your jokes make me want to get a tan. When you were walking, I ran. You're not as good as Stan. Your tea is something, which I want to ban. You started cooking your tea, inside of a pan."

Alice watched, while the Hatter and the Hare continued their passionate singing. As the song was starting to end, Alice asked, "What's going on? Why are you guys fighting?"

The Mad Hatter turned around and had a confused look on his face, while asking, "What are you talking about? We weren't fighting."

Alice replied, "You seemed to pretty mad, at each-other."

The Mad Hatter took a bow and said, "I'm flattered, that you enjoyed that. That was a musical performance, that the March Hare and I have been practicing, in case you ever fell ill and needed something, to cheer you up."

Alice raised an eyebrow, while saying, "You thought you could cheer me up, by pretending to get in a fight?"

The March Hare answered, "Yeah."

Alice said, "I've been sick, plenty of times. What makes this illness any different, from my previous ones?"

The Mad Hatter shrugged his shoulders and replied, "I don't know. However, I rarely understand my own actions. That's one of the main things, that makes Wonderland so wonderful. It's not about logic, reason or order. It's about having crazily-fashioned mayhem, with those you love."

Alice smiled, while responding, "I couldn't ask for anything better. Come closer." The Mad Hatter and the March Hare came closer to Alice. Alice gave them a big hug, while saying, "I love you."

The Mad Hatter replied, "We love you, too, Alice."

The March Hare said, "Although I used to think I could only love myself, I love you, as well."

Suddenly, Alice heard a knock on the door. Alice asked, "Who's there?"

Aurora said, "It's Aurora."

Alice quickly brushed her hair and checked how she looked, in the mirror, before saying, "You can come in."

Aurora walked in, while carrying some new stuffed animals, for Alice, as well as some flowers. She looked at Alice's bed and saw that her notebook was open and there were markers on the bed. Aurora said, "You're not actually making more drawings, are you?"

Alice replied, "Come on, Aurora. A little cold isn't going to stop me, from doing what I love."

Aurora said, "Well, I'm thankful you're in your bed, rather than running around the garden."

Alice replied, "Believe me, I wanted to run around and play. However, Father wouldn't allow that. As for my sister, she just kept mocking me, for believing in Wonderland. However, I have proof, that Wonderland is real."

Aurora asked, "Really?"

Alice said, "The Mad Hatter and the March Hare are in this room. Look around and you'll see them. If you're lucky, you'll also see the Dormouse, but he's usually sleeping, so he probably won't be very talkative."

Aurora gave Alice the benefit of the doubt, by looking around the room. However, she said, "I'm sorry, Alice, but I don't see anything."

Alice replied, "They have to be here. I just saw them, before you came in." Alice started looking around the room, but she didn't see them. She felt confused, while asking, "What's going on? Where did they go?"

Aurora said, "Don't worry about hats and rabbits, Alice. Just lay down."

Alice sighed and said, "You don't believe me, do you? You probably think I'm just making stuff up. That's what everybody else seems to think."

Aurora gently put down the flowers and replied, "I may not see your Wonderland friends, but that doesn't mean they're not real."

Alice lightly smiled, while asking, "Really?"

Aurora nodded and said, "We don't have to believe in all of the same things, Alice. However, I hope you believe me, when I tell you I love you."

Alice replied, "I certainly believe that and you should believe, that I love you, too."

Aurora put the stuffed animals on Alice's bed and said, "Take a break, from your drawings. I'm going to fetch some snacks and drinks, for you."

Alice replied, "Okay."

After Aurora left the room, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare returned to Alice's bed. Alice looked at them, while asking, "Where did you guys go?"

The Mad Hatter replied, "Like I always say, I don't have an explanation."

The March Hare said, "I never make sense, but I always look my best."

The Mad Hatter explained, "The real reason, that we came here, was to make sure you were happy. We know you haven't always been the most sociable or happy princess, in the land. We wanted to make sure, that you were going to be okay."

Alice replied, "I am happy. Aurora makes me happy."

The Mad Hatter said, "The March Hare and I are glad to hear that. I'm not sure how the Dormouse feels. Frankly, I think he might still be sleeping. However, that's not what's important."

Alice asked, "What is important?"

The Mad Hatter held Alice's hand, while saying, "Alice, I'm afraid you won't be seeing much of us or the other residents of Wonderland, for a long time."

Alice nervously asked, "Where are you going?"

The Mad Hatter said, "We'll still be in Wonderland, like we always are. As much as we'd like to have you stay with us, you belong at the castle, with your loved ones."

Alice replied, "But I love you and the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat and everybody else."

The Mad Hatter responded, "And they love you, too. We'll always love you, Alice, but I'm afraid childhood friends have to say goodbye, sometimes and this is one of those situations. However, you shouldn't worry, because we'll always be there, in your heart."

Alice hugged the Hatter and the Hare, while saying, "I love you. Please, don't go back to Wonderland. Stay here or let me move to Wonderland. I don't mind leaving the castle."

The Mad Hatter replied, "I'm sorry, Alice, but it's time we say goodbye." The Hatter and the Hare both kissed one of Alice's cheeks, before leaving.

Aurora came back into the room, with some cookies and milk. She looked around and saw that Alice had tears coming down her eyes. She had a concerned look on her face, while asking, "What's wrong?"

Alice said, "You wouldn't believe me. I don't think anybody would believe me."

Aurora smiled, while replying, "I'm open-minded."

Alice said, "I can't really explain my situation. I just had to say goodbye, to some old friends."

Aurora raised an eyebrow, while asking, "Who? Was somebody in your room, a moment ago?"

Alice said, "It doesn't matter. I guess I've been feeling lonely, lately."

Aurora asked, "Really?"

Alice nodded and said, "I've been missing my Wonderland friends."

Aurora held Alice's hand, while replying, "I don't know how much company you can get, from just one person, but I'm here and I'm want to visit you, as much as possible."

Alice responded, "That sounds nice. Can you stay with me, until I get better?"

Aurora said, "It would be my pleasure."

Alice stood up and gave Aurora a big hug. She said, "I love you, so much."

Aurora replied, "I feel the same way."

Alice started walking to the window, so she could close it. She looked down and saw a hat, that looked like the hat the Mad Hatter was wearing. Alice saw there was a note that was attached to the hat. The note read, "You're not bonkers, Alice. You're also not normal, but that's what makes you so special. Sincerely, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare. P.S., the Dormouse finally started remembering you after he woke up."

Alice walked back to her bed, while carrying the hat. She stared at the hat, while smiling. Aurora pointed to the hat and asked, "What's that?"

Alice said, "Just a gift from a friend."

Aurora asked, "Will that friend be coming by to check on you?"

Alice said, "I don't know. I don't have an explanation, for most things, but I do know that I love my friends and regardless of how much or how little I see them, I believe in them, and I love them with all my heart."
