Chapter 3: The 1st Case Begins
The Super Detective Siblings are at their table, eating lunch.
"Hey, I'm sorry that you guys didn't get any ice cream," said Prika.
"It's okay, Prika. It's just ridiculous for this to happen again," Tallulah Tabon T said, playing with her peas.
"Again? What do you mean by that?"
"It's 5th week in the row that the ice cream storage has gone to zero, which it's bizarre," said Garth Golan.
"It was probably for the best. The cafeteria rarely has anything that's vegetarian-based. This is why I bring my lunch," said Kennedy Kooperson before eating a salad.
"But isn't vegetarian food kinda expensive, Kennedy? How can you afford it?" said Brandon Boyd before adding mustard to his hot dog and eating it.
"Oh, yeah. Then how can you do anything or eat without arms, hands, and a mouth?"
"Touché."
"Woah, Detective Sibs. It's clear that there's something bad in the air," said Baby Luma.
"Sorry, BL. That was me. Firehouse Chilies are insane," said Bruce Boon.
"No, Bruce. He thinks something isn't right here. Someone must be hoarding all of the ice creams for themselves," said Prika.
"That would make sense. Due to food delivery, there's no way the delivery people won't miss ice cream. Are you think what we're all thinking, Prika?" said Lyla Lakerson.
"Yes, my dear, dear Lyla. We got a mystery to solve. And once recess starts, that's when we begin the investigation."
As the Super Detective Siblings cheered, Prika hugged Baby Luma, blushing in joy. However, their talk was overheard by the Toad Twins, who were eating lunch a bit far from them.
"It looks like the next generation wants to get to work now," Yellow Toad said.
"Shouldn't you be concerned about this?! They might get into great danger into finding the culprit," said Blue Toad.
"Relax. Prika has her powers, and if we keep an eye on them, they won't get into trouble."
"But should we tell their parents, especially Mario, Luigi, and Rosalina?"
"I don't want the kids to get an ear pinch for trying to solve a mystery without supervision."
"Well, since we'll keep an eye on them…Let's get to it."
