"Hey Aneki, have you ever wondered what life is like in other worlds? Like, you know... Worlds similar but different from ours?" I asked as I looked up at the night sky.

"Not really, I usually think more about how awful this world is, and how if I were strong enough, I would become someone who got rid of, or at least balance out the evil."

"What kind of name would that person have Aneki? I don't think those kinds of people exist yet."

"I think... I'd call those people something cool, like Protectors or maybe heroes."

"I like that second one, hero has a nice ring to it." I said with a smile as I helped him up so we could head back to the village before the monsters started showing up.

"Let's hurry back before-" my sentence was cut off as I suddenly noticed red eyes in the bushes.

"Looks like we got lucky tonight..." Said a deep voice as a tall figure walked out of the forest.

"What do you mean? Aren't those just normal kids boss?" Asked a monster that had been hiding in the bushes as it looked us over.

"Idiot, that girl is who we're looking for!" He yelled causing me to stumble and fall back on my butt.

Aneki ran over and stood in front of me with his hunting dagger pointed at the monster closest to us.

"A-Aneki, don't!" I yelled as he charged at the weakest looking one before he was crushed by a giant Warhammer belonging to their leader.

"Aneki!" I yelled when I saw his body being eaten by the group of lesser monsters behind the leader of the group.

"Now then, come with us quietly or we'll destroy your village too." He said as he smiled sadisticly.

Tears rolled down my cheeks as my eyes started flashing between colors, finally stopping on a pair of multicolored eyes. A small golden aura covered my small body as I glared at the ones responsible.

As I did so, they suddenly all reached for either their own throats or chests as though they were all either suffocating or having a heart attack.

Behind me I heard footsteps, but deciding to ignore them, I continued to focus on the monsters in front of me until they all dropped dead.

That was when I too fell to the ground and began coughing uncontrollably, eventually coughing up blood before it all went black.

Floating around, I found myself struggling to remember who I was. Perhaps it was due to the head injury I sustained when falling earlier.

Looking down, I was wearing a pink dress, which was unusual as my clothes were those of a common peasant back home.

Wait, home? Where is home...?

I found myself panicking as I looked around only to see that I was nowhere near a forest, but instead within a blinding white space.

"Where am I?" I asked to no one in particular.

Not expecting any response, I jumped when a mature woman's voice spoke up.

"Welcome, you are currently in the space known as God Space. Here you can create your own world and do anything you can imagine. Of course, this only applies to you as this specific space belongs to you."

"Wait, I'm not a god! There must be some mistake!" I yelled as I looked around for the voices source. I was alone, so there was no way it was a person or anything like that.

"You seem to be confused, my apologies." The voice said as a soft breeze blew from behind me. Turning around, I saw a pair of white wings on my back.

I promptly passed out.

"Let me get this straight, I've been reborn as a god due to my powers awakening back in my world? And because of that, I was given all the memories of how to fight and use magic fromthe previous God of this place?"

"Correct."

"Okay, but why do I look different?" I asked only slightly starting to understand.

"Your real body was destroyed, so you needed a new one. We provided this one as it was the one most compatible."

I nodded. So that was why my hair was blue, and why I had wings, of course.

"You won't be allowed to chose a realm to reside inuntil you grow accustomed to both your new body and powers." The voice said as a portal opened.

"In order to achieve this, I have prepared a tutor for you in another world. Until you can create a portal back to this world, you will not be considered ready to take on your duties or chose a home. As such, I will take care of your duties until your return."

"This charm will also turn into an important companion for you. Take care of it." The voice finished as I stuck my hand through the portal warily, before deeming it safe and going all the way through, charm in hand.
