Opening my eyes yet again, I started looking around to try and guess where in the world I was. It was then that a rush of information entered my mind.
"Alrighty then, my teacher's a slime!" I exclaimed as I looked around for a bit trying to locate my new teacher.
《I forgot to mention something lady Zara, as your new body is five years younger than your previous one, you will be having to wait about sevenyears before you can meet them as they do not yet liveon this plane of existence.》Said the voice from before.
"Seriously? You're kidding right?" I yelled out loud.
Suddenly, rustling was heard from the bushes and trees surrounding the clearing. A cold sweat covered my entire body as I had flashbacks of Aneki's and mydeaths.
"Stay back!" I yelledas I picked up a hard stick from behind me.
The noise came closer causing panic to rise within me. Gripping my stick as hard as I could, I yelled out again.
"I'll hurt you, I- I'll do it!" I said as the shadowy figure of a horned man loomed over me.
I swung at them only for it to be blocked, resulting in me being picked up by the back of my dress.
"I don't wanna die again!" I screamed as I kicked and hit them hoping to do some damage despite my small size stature.
"Again? what are you talking about kid?" Askes a gruff voice. Opening one eye, I saw a tall muscular looking man with dark redskin, tiny fangs coming out as an overbite, and two white horns.
"U-um, it's a long story... Just please put me down!" I pleaded as the tall humanlooking
creature sighed before putting me down gently.
I then began to explain.
"S-so basically, I was reincarnated.I diedafter watchingmy best friend beingmurdered by amonster before waking up in a pure white space and being told that I was no longer human. And now, I'm here." I said still slightly shaken by the thought of our deaths.
"Reincarnated huh? Wouldn't be the first time that happened here, though it usually only happens to humans." The malesaid.
Having calmed down slightly, I decided to ask.
"By the way Mister, what exactly are you?"
The male chuckled before patting my head much like my father used to do.
"I'm a member of the great ogre clan!" He said proudly.
"An ogre? That's amazing!" I exclaimed happily.
"By the way, What's your name?" I asked curiously.
"Us monsters don't have names." He said, causing me to laugh awkwardly.
Then I'll have to come up with something to call you, like a nickname!"
I said as I started to think.
"Hey kid, I'm guessing you have nowhere to stay right?" He asked.
I shook my head.
"Why not come to our village? It's not much, but it's lively!" The ogre said with a wide grin.
"Are people like me really welcome?" I asked a bit concerned.
"Well while you may look like one, you're not a human, or a threat for that matter. So I don't see why not"
A wide grin spread across my face.
"Okay then, sure!" I said happily.
Having arrived at the village, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was about the same amount of advancement as the one I came from in my past life.
"Wow, it's so pretty!" I said with excitement as I looked around.
"Really? It's rare to hear that from an outsider." He said with a laugh.
"No, I mean it! It reminds me of my old home! I just wish Aneki were here to see it..." I said muttering the last part quietly.
"Hey, Chief, who's the kid?" Asked a blue ogre who had a younger blue ogre hiding behind him, who was staring at me.
"Hello, I'm Zara! Mister Chief here said I could stay here since I have nowhere to go." I said with an awkward smile.
"Well then, you have a name! are you human?" He asked curiously.
"No sir, I'm not human. I said as I turned around and moved my long, dark blue hair out of the way to show two tiny wings.
"An Angelthen?" He said.
"Something like that Mr.Blue." I said with a grin.
"What a well mannered child. She seems to know how to keep information given to a minimum as well." The older blue ogre said in approval.
Thus began my life in the Ogre Village!
