"Blue, wait up!" I yelled to the smaller ogre.
"Go faster then!" He yelled back with a chuckle.
I laughedto myself.
"If you say so Blue!" I yelled as I focused energy to my feet causing the earth beneath them to crack as I took off, quickly catching up to, and passing the blue ogre much to his surprise.
It had been about a weeksince I began to live here with the ogres, and my control over my overwhelming strength had grown significantly. I could now run faster, fight with the adults on equal grounds, and even use some magic to hide my wings and aura.
"I win!" I yelled as Blue finally caught up to me.
"Yeah, you sure did!" Exlaimed anogre girl from behind me.
"Oh, hello!" I said with a smile as I waved to the purple short haired ogre girl before me.
"Zara, this is one of my allies."
"You mean friends right blue?" I asked teasingly.
Blue sighed at my antics.
"Wait, you're theZara? The one who chief brought back?" She exclaimed, sparkles in her eyes.
"Y-yes?" I said in more of a question than a confirmation.
"But you look like a human... where are your wings?" She asked curiously.
I sighed and turned around, moving my hair out of the way, then snapping my fingers causing them to appear.
"They got bigger?" Blue asked confused.
"Yeah, they grow as I grow. They should stop growing eventually though." I said mildly annoyed by how inconvenient they were when not in use.
"Sister, slow down!" Yelled another voice as two sets of footsteps approached our little group.
"Young master, Princess!" gasped the other two as they both immediately kneeled, leaving me to copy what they were doing.
"Brotherlook, she has no horns!" Exclaimed the newly arrived pink haired ogre in excitement.
"Huh, you're right. Is she a freak or something?" The red ogre boy said bluntly.
"Brother!" Yelled the pink girl in a scolding manner.
"What? I'm not wrong am I?" He defended himself.
"Actually, I'm not an ogre..." I said.
"Then what are you, a human?" The red one asked in clear distaste.
"I'm not human either. I have wings for one thing." I saidturning around to show them my wings.
"Wow, so pretty!" The pink one said as she reached out to touch them.
"Hey, stop that, it tickles!" I exclaimed as she pet the feathers.
"O-oh, I'm sorry!" Pinky said about to cry.
I started to panic not wanting her to cry.
"No, no, it's not your fault. You were just curious after all!" I said trying to keep her from crying.
The red ogre started to glare at me.
"U-um, hey look at this!" I said as I put my hands out covering each other, removing the top hand to reveal a tiny ice sculpture of a lotus flower.
The girl seemed to calm down, and took it in her hands.
"Cold!" She yelped, almost dropping it before handing it back.
"It's made of ice." I said as I walked over to the pond and set it in the water, watching as it floated away.
"So pretty!" She awed as she watched it float in the middle of the small pond as it slowly melted.
The red ogre then smiled at the sight of his sister having made a friend. Just maybe this new girlwasn't so bad.
The ogre children and I had become close friends. But lately, Red had been getting sick.
When I heard it wasfrom lack of control over his own magic,I knew I had to help.
"Mister Chief!" I yelled as I ran into the room.
"Let me help Red, I know I can!" I said determined.
"Can you?" He asked surprised by my determination.
"Are you forgetting what I am Mister Chief?" I asked with a smirk before rushing into Red's room.
The adult ogre sighed knowing better than to argue with thehard headed godling.
I quietly walked over and placed a hand on his forehead to check his temperature. He was literally burning to the touch!
Placing my hands together, I gathered energy into a ball between my two hands before carefully inserting the orb of energy into his forehead.
"Cooling seal." I said quietly as a pale blue light began to glow from his horns. As soon as I felt his fever die down, I hummed in satisfaction and left to inform Mister chief of what happened.
