(Mc Pov)

I awoke to an unfamiliar room. Sitting up, I suddenly felt an intense wave of tiredness hit me for a bit before remembering what happened.

getting out of the bed I was in, I carefully went outside. It was loud and dark out. Walking towards the noise, I was surprised to see a party going on.

Looking to my left, I saw a goblina who was handing out drinks.

"Excuse me, miss goblina?" I asked hesitantly. She turned to face me.

"Oh, please call me Haruna!" The girl smiled.

"You have a name?" I asked surprised, but also slightly happy. It had been years since I had met anyone with an actual name.

"Yes, everyone here does aside from the ogres who arrived recently with Lord Rimuru."

I see, well miss Haruna, could you tell me where said ogres are at the moment? I'm in their group." I explained.

"They should be with the dwarves over by the bigtree to your right." She said before taking off.

Seeing them in the distance, I began to walk over when I bumped into someone by accident.

"I'm sorry!" I exclaimed as I bowed.

"No, no, it's fine! Though I'm glad to see that you're feeling better."

"Oh, um... thank you?" I said looking up.

"No problem! My name's Rimuru Tempest, what's yours?"

"Oh, uh-"

"Wait that's right, most monsters don't have names!" He said surprising me. He didn't know?

"Well actually, Rimuru sir, I do have one, and I'm not actually a monster."

"Wait really? but the wings you had when they brought you in..?"

"Natural oddity of my species.."

"I see- Wait what?!" He exclaimed in surprise.

"No way, that's amazing!"

"Oh right, my name. It's Zara Estreia, Nice to meet you!"

"Yeah, you too!" He said as he waved goodbye before I headed over to the others.

"Red, Blue, Pinky, and Purps, You're all okay!" I exclaimed as I ran over to them only to be met with an awkward silence.

"Guys? Is something wrong?" I asked concerned for my friends.

Red visibly tensed at my words.

"Is something wrong..? Is that all you have to say?" He asked angrily.

"Red? What's going on with you?" I asked slightly afraid as I backed away slowly.

"You hid your identity from us, you lied about who you were, and worst of all? You let everyone die, you had the power to stop those orcs, and you did nothing!" He yelled causing me to shrink away.

Tears pricked at the corners of my eyes, threatening to spill.

"You know nothing of why I did those things! If I could have, I would have saved more of us, but you don't consider that do you?"

"If you're really a god, then you could have done something, anything to save them, but instead, you only saved the ones you knew!"

"Shut up!"

"You clearly never cared about the Chief or anyone in our village, now did you?"

"No!I cared for them just as much as you did!" I yelled before slapping him across the cheek, a loud clapnoise was heard by everyone at the party before I ran off.

"Honestly, you deserved that brother."

The attendants watched as a cryingyoung lady with deep blue hair and two different colored eyes stormed off into the darkness of the forest.

"He went too far! I know that he's always been the kind to think with his emotions more than his head, but seriously!" I yelled as I concentrated tocreatea small sound and damage proofbarrier around me to keep all the damage I was about to cause within the small area.

I screamed at the top of my lungs causing any monstersunfortunate enough to be locked in the barrier with me to keel over from brain damage due to the frequency.

Lowering the barrier, I gathered the lesser monstersandwarped them next to me in a pile.

Falling over onto my face, I started to cry loudly and uglily.

"Damn it!Why does this always happen?I just want to die again!" I said while sobbing.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"Oh, it's just you Rimuru." I said not looking up at him.

"I'mjust wondering why I'm such a failure is all." I said with a sigh.

"You know, I heard your conversation with the head ogre." He said.

"Oh yeah, that..." I said trailing off.

"I can see if I can get them to hear you out." He offered.

"Yeah, I'd appreciate that. "

"So you're a human reincarnated as a god huh? That's pretty cool. I'm just a boringly overpowered slime myself." He said trying to lighten up the mood.

"Really? I like slimes a lot, they're really cute. Back home before I died, I had a pet slime named Chui, my parents were slime ranchers."

Rimuru laughed and changed into his slime form causing me to smile slightly.

"Um... can I give you a hug?"

"Sure."

I picked him up carefully and gave him a squishy hug, which calmedmy crying before I set him down.

"Thanks for that." I said wiping away the remnants of my tears.

"No problem."
