The Hidden Door

"Hey take it easy," said my best friend Michell.

"Don't tell me to take it easy! Would you be able to take it easy if your brother was evil?" I say as I opened my backpack to look for a flashlight.

We were in the master bedroom of an abandoned house on Maple Street where the villains usually hung out. I don't know why I am doing this. My brother Matthew is known for his good grades and good behavior. I don't understand why he is here talking to the villains until I hear him say something that only people from Japan would know about: Midoriya Izuku was supposedly here in the US. I don't know why he is doing this, but I can tell he is trying to help them kill him from the way he is talking.

"Alright, let's go," I say as I pull the flashlight out from my backpack and turn it on. As I turn around, I run face first into a villain; at least, I think he is a villain when I first see him. He had burn marks underneath his eyes, and his neck was a burn mark to itself. He was wearing black and white, but he had a weird symbol on his shirt. Michell was frozen from shock while I looked him in the eye. He wasn't threatening in any way. As a matter of fact, his facial expression is telling me that he doesn't want to be here.

"What's a bunch of kids doing here?" he asks in Japanese as he looks around, obviously trying to be discreet about his actions. It takes me a moment to figure out what he said.

That was when I recognized the symbol on his shirt: it was a black dragon over a red rose in the front left. He was part of the Japanese group of anti-heroes called 'Dragon's Rose'. They were practically assassins who saved civilians and killed villains. They were the very definition of a neutral faction.

"Why is somebody that works in Japan here in the US?" I respond back in his language as he looks me in the face. It was hard for me because I couldn't speak Japanese as fluently as I could speak German. I then realized that the news about All For One trying to kill Midoriya and take his quirk wasn't a joke.

"Fair point. Now, I don't suppose you two would go back home?" he questions me in a quiet tone. It takes another moment to process what he said. I then notice something strange about the floor next to us.

I tell him 'no' before walking over to the section I found strange. As I knelt down to touch it, I realized that it was a trap door. I try to find the lever by feeling around on the floor. Michell finally recovers from the shock after remembering that I speak 5 languages. She comes over to ask me what I'm looking for only to be stopped by the Japanese guy, who I now recognize as Dabi. I then remember what Dabi is known for being a pyromaniac. I look over at him to see if he did anything to her, but it seemed like I was worrying over something stupid because he was acting rational, which, to be frank, was very odd.

He then signals for me to turn off the flashlight and points at the door on the other side of the room. We then hear footsteps and I immediately turn off the flashlight. Due to my quirk of super hearing, I've been able to hear the entire conversation. Dabi then moves anbook on the bookshelf next to him and Michell, and the trap door opens silently. He then motions for us to follow him as he silently walks to the trap door and walks down the stairs beneath it.

We end up following him.

Plz don't slander me! My story is mostly made up of writing prompts and OC's.
