Hello Everyone, I hope you all enjoyed the first episode of The Avengers: Multiverse's Mightiest Heroes. If you haven't read it, go check it out through my profile. I think you'd enjoy it.

This is episode 2, and I have to admit that I am both excited and nervous to write this episode. Rewatching some of Freezing gave me truly nostalgic bliss, watching the fights and hearing the OST for the series. If you haven't watched Freezing the anime in a while, and you can get past some annoying fanservice, give it a rewatch. I enjoyed it, and I think some of you will too.

I don't want those feelings of nostalgia or the older concepts and expectations of Satellizer L. Bridget and Virgil Hawkins to pollute or take away from this story. I also don't want it to be too confusing, but just bear with me. I'm still trying to get my writing mojo back.

In this universe, the history of Freezing and Static Shock has been blended and mixed.

I hope you enjoy the read and leave any potential suggestions or helpful hints in the reviews below!

Enjoy!

The Avengers: Multiverse's Mightiest Heroes

Episode 2: Tormented and Attacked

An island off the mainland of Japan, Military Academy West Japan Genetics

Three young men in ski masks and light body armor suggested breaking into a small electronic store on an otherwise quiet city block. The city seemed to be asleep tonight, with little no one outside. This was the perfect night for a robbery, and the three thieves knew it.

"Let's hurry this up." The leader said, as he watched the bulkiest thief load a flat-screen into the van in the back alley of the store. The leader looked at the short driver in the front seat, who gave him a thumbs up. The leader nodded and continued inside, with the bulky man following behind him.

"What's the rush, boss?" The bulky man asked, causing the leader to let out an annoyed sigh. However, the hulking thief continued, "The city's asleep right now, those Pandora from West Genetics haven't been patrolling this part of town for a few nights. We should be good."

The leader pointed his finger at the bulky man and said, "Just shut up and grab one more tv. We've got more than just Pandora to worry about, you fool."

Outside, the driver sat in his seat, tapping his foot on the floor, clearly nervous. He looked down the alleyway, seeing nothing but darkness.

"Can't believe this city is next to one of the world's best military art schools, and they can't even properly power alley lights." The man whispered, continuing to pat his feet nervously.

As the bulky man came out of the back door with one more flatscreen, a small streak of purple and blue lightning stretched out from behind the man and subtly connected to the plug for the flatscreen. The flatscreen suddenly jumped to life, causing the bulky man to yelp in shock.

The driver quickly left the van to see what was happening, and he was also surprised to see the tv screen one, despite the fact that it wasn't plugged in.

The leader was the last to come out of the store, and he saw the two looking down at the flatscreen. He growled in anger, "What are you two morons doing?!"

"Boss you need to see this!" The bulky one said, pointing down at the tv he had placed on the ground.

The leader blinded in confusion. As the leader began to speak, the short driver looked into the air. The leader then said, "What? The tv's just playing without being plugged in?"

"Static!" The short man said in shock. The leader and bulky man looked at him in confusion, with the bulky man first to answer.

"Yeah, it's just playing static."

"NO, you idiot! STATIC!" The short man pointed to the air when a streak of lightning crashed down between the trio of men, sending them flying.

Out of that streak of lightning came out a young black superhero, who had a wide smile on his face. The young man had on a white t-shirt with a black lightning bolt logo on his chest. Over the white t-shirt was blue and yellow long jacket that reached down to the young man's knees. The superhero had on black pants, yellow and white goggles, and he flew onto a manhole cover that was electrified. This young hero was…

"Static!" The bulky man said in shock, picking himself up and the leader next, "What's he doing here?!"

Static laughed, as he darted around the alley, "I'm catching you three stooges, for one."

The leader picked up a crowbar and growled, "It's three on one! Get him!"

Static pointed his hands outward, releasing a wave of electricity at the leader and the bulky man, while laughing, "So we got the Leader and the Incredible Bulk! I'll be taking those crowbars!"

Static pulled his hands back, and the crowbars flew out of the hands of the leading thief and the bulky thief. Much to their surprise, all of the metal they had on their body came flying off. Their belts, chains, necklaces, everything. Static collected all the metal into a ball and then tossed it back at the two thugs. The ball exploded outward, sending all the metal flying at the men like projectiles, knocking them on their backs.

"I call that one, the Static Rocket! Shocking isn't it." Static said, not noticing the short driver, who had hopped into the van and started it. Static looked over in confusion, as the van backed into him, knocking him off of his manhole cover, and onto the ground.

The driver rolled down the window and said, "Let's get outta here!"

The leader and the bulky thief got to their feet and ran to the van, as Static got to his feet and said, "No you don't."

Static supercharged the manhole cover and slug it forward like it were an electrified disc or frisbee. The manhole cover struck the bulky man in the back, causing him to fly into the leader. The unconscious bulky man landed on his boss, trapping him.

Static then used static electricity under the soles of his boots to propel him into the air, landing in front of the van. The driver shifted the car into drive, but Static threw his hands on the hood of the van and sapped all the energy out of the van. The short man looked at Static through the windshield, as the young man sparked with electricity and confidence.

The leader wiggled his way from under the bulky man, then immediately ran towards the exit in the alley. Static smirked, summoning his manhole with electricity and going after the leader. The leader reached the end of the alley, when he was slammed by a sudden powerful force in the chest, which caused him to fly backwards right to Static's feet.

Static stopped on his manhole, and looked down at the man. The look of confusion on Static's face intensified when he heard a female voice from the street say, "Lookie what we have here."

Static looked to the open street and saw two young women standing in the middle of the road, right in front of the store's front entrance. The leading young woman looked a year or two older than Static. She had beautiful long red hair, with the inner side of her temporal locks curling inward over her cheekbones. Her hair was tailed back into a ponytail that reached past her back.

The second young woman looked more of Static's age. She had long pink hair, but it looked more burgundy red in the faint light from the city. Her hair was done in two large pigtails, each curled at the tips and tied off at the top with blue ribbons.

What concerned Static most of all, were the West Genetic uniforms the two young women were wearing. Static knew the young girl, she was Ganessa Roland. The older girl, he had only seen in passing, but he could guess that she was Arnett McMillian. Both of them were dangerous, but Static couldn't help but ask.

"What are you guys doing here?" Static asked.

Arnett tilted her head in a look of amusement, "Isn't that cute? The weirdo in a costume is asking us what we're doing out here alone in the dark. Don't you know there was a curfew, little man?"

Static quickly quipped back, "Superheroes don't really have curfews. But I'm sure you Pandora do, so move it along. I've already handled these punks."

Ganessa quickly stepped in and said, "We're on a patrol through the city to catch criminals. Too bad for you, we've caught you here with these thieves. So we'll be taking you all in to the city police."

"Seriously?" Static said with a tilted head. Arnett tilted her head at Ganessa as well, but she had a bit of an amused smile on her face.

"Who's 'We', rookie? You can bag this one. I'll evaluate your performance." Arnett laughed.

Ganessa growled at the thought of Arnett mocking her. She turned to Static and shouted, "Volt Weapon, Deploy!" Four chains with pointed weights on their ends extended from Ganessa's back, and she immediately leapt at Static.

Ganessa fired two of her weighted chains at Static, who leapt on his manhole cover and took to the air to dodge the attacks. Static leaned out of the way of the fire strike, then he charged up electricity in his fist and punched away the second incoming chain. This proved to be a mistake, as the energy he built up wasn't enough. Static's knuckles were cut by Ganessa's chain.

"Ow." Static instinctively said, backing away to get some distance from Ganessa. Ganessa took this as an advantage, trying to close the distance with Static. Static hovered in front of the store's entrance, pointing his hands out at Ganessa. Ganessa ignorantly continued forward at Static, looking to end the fight quickly. Much to her surprise, several laptops, computers, and tvs crashed out of the storefront, flying straight at her.

Ganessa's Chains of Binding leapt to life, flying out and cutting through the various electronics that Static was throwing at her.

"Is that it?!" Ganessa laughed, letting out a hint of pride at the weakness of Static's attacks. Much to her surprise, a streak of lightning flashed over to her side. Out of that streak of lightning came Static, who had his manhole cover in front of him like a shield. Static slammed the manhole cover into Ganessa's chest, and the two tumbled onto the ground together.

As the two rolled to a stop, Static found himself on top of Ganessa, who was both flustered by their position and in shock about Static's attack. Static blinked in shock, before leaping to his feet and becoming flustered himself.

"Sorry!"

Ganessa sat up and she growled, "You perv! How dare you?!"

"It was an accident!" Static quickly said, before looking at Arnett, who was smirking at the trouble Static was causing. Static pointed and said, "You saw it was an accident, right?"

Arnett lifted her hand and said, "Static, the vigilante. You're funny. I've decided that you're worth my attention. Please, stimulate my night, little man."

Static blinked in confusion, when Arnett flashed in front of him, now wielding a long, double-handed scythe. Arnett was already in mid-swing as Static engulfed his body in lightning, barely reacting to Arnett's attack. Static's body leapt into the air, with his head barely dodging the blade from Arnett's scythe.

As Static landed on his knees in shock, he thought to himself, 'She just tried to cut my head off!' Arnett smirked at Static, approaching him slowly with her scythe dragging against the ground. Static heard Ganessa behind him, and he summoned his manhole cover to guard his back, just as Ganessa's bladed chains slammed down at him. Static's makeshift shield blocked the attack, but it was shattered on contact, causing the shattered manhole cover to cut into his thigh.

Static growled in pain, knowing the cut wasn't deep but still painful. Static leaps away from the two, trying to keep his eyes on both opponents. He found a moment of comfort, as Arnett glared at Ganessa.

"Little sister, standdown. You should know proper ediquette. Don't interrupt me when I'm playing with my food." Arnett glared while saying with a condescending tone.

Ganessa blinked and then growled, "You're the one who told me to capture him."

Arnett was about to respond, when Static quipped, "Don't worry ladies. There's enough of me to go around." Static immediately regretted saying that, as both Pandora glared at him. Static took a step back, when he heard police sirens coming from behind him. Static glanced back to see several police cars driving down the block to reach the fight.

'This isn't a good look.' Static thought to himself before directing his attention back to the Pandora. Static was met with a knee to his chest by Arnett. Arnett had a psychotic grin on her face as Static coughed out in pain.

Static landed on his back, with the wind knocked out of him. He groaned aloud as Arnett and Ganessa approached him.

"I didn't even break a sweat." Ganessa said, sounding arrogant.

Static responded with a forced breath, "Blackout Bash" Static released a massive burst of electricity from his body, which flashed through the entire city block, turning off all the street lights and storefront security lights. Arnett reached for Static but found herself in pitch-black darkness.

The Pandora growled in anger, while looking around, "That slippery little fish".

Static groaned in pain, as he hovered himself up to a dorm room's bathroom window and used his electric touch to open the lock to the window.

'Double checked to make sure this was my room. Don't want another "Bathroom Boogieman" incident.' Static thought to himself, as he tried to quietly open his bathroom window. As the window slid open, Static climbed through, turning off his electric powers. Static pulled his mask off, while looking into the dark bathroom mirror.

Virgil Hawkins looked at himself in the mirror, simply wondering how he let himself be talked into becoming a student at West Genetics.

"Batman, you really just want me to end up dead? Don't you?" Virgil whispered to himself, remembering how the Dark Knight pulled strings to get Virgil into this school to act as an inside man and Limiter representative for the superhero community. Virgil pulled his suit off, revealing the cut on his thigh and his bloody knuckles. Virgil quickly tried to patch himself up, when he heard rustling outside the bathroom.

Virgil looked to see that he never actually locked the bathroom door, and as he stood to reach for it, the door swung open. Virgil could only toss his uniform in the bathroom behind the door, and sit on the toilet, while smiling at whoever was opening the door.

'Really hope this is my room.' Virgil thought to himself, as light poured through the room. The light switched flipped in the bathroom, and Virgil saw his roommate, Arthur Crypton looking at him in confusion. Arthur had bags under his eyes, as he yawned looked at Virgil. Virgil smiled at Arthur, and Arthur looked at him in confusion.

"Why are you in your underwear, just sitting on the toilet, Virgil?" Arthur said, in a half asleep tone.

Virgil tried to think of a good excuse, when Arthur waved him off and said, "I gotta pee. So can you hurry up?" Arthur closed the door before Virgil could finish.

Virgil gasped in relief, but then hissed when his thigh began to burn. Virgil quickly cleaned the wound on his thigh, then he stitched the cut as best as he could. Virgil only had a couple of months of first-aid training he received on the job when he was still a hero in Dakota City.

Virgil picked up his costume, tossing it into one of the empty trash bags the two boys used for their bathroom trash. Virgil came out of the bathroom, seeing Arthur rubbing his eyes while sitting on his bed.

"Sorry about that, bro. Bathroom's all yours." Virgil chuckled.

Arthur just yawned and said, "When'd you come in, man? I must've drifted off."

Virgil ignored the question, just saying, "I'm surprised you're in the room tonight, man. You basically moved in with Ganessa."

Arthur didn't bother closing the door as he flipped open the toilet lid and peed, while letting out a calming sigh, "Don't be jealous that I've got a girlfriend now, and you don't. You always know I won't leave my first-year buddies behind."

Virgil tossed the garbage bag under his bed, kicking it under just to be safe. As Virgil plopped in bed, he heard Arthur flush the toilet, wash his hands, and walk out of the bathroom. Virgil glanced at Arthur, and Arthur just faceplanted back into his bed.

Virgil cringed at Arthur, who didn't even bother looking at him. Virgil just heard Arthur say, "Kaho came by a little while ago. She was looking for you. You should give her a call."

Virgil blushed, thinking about his friend, Kaho Hiiragi. She was Virgil and Arthur's Class President, and she was stuck guiding around the "American Exchange Student", Virgil Hawkins. But besides treating Virgil like a burden, she treated him like he was already her friend. This trait caused her and Virgil to bonded and become friends immediately. She was the reason Virgil ended up becoming roomed with Arthur.

Virgil also couldn't help but think of how beautiful Kaho was as well. But it wasn't a beauty that was flaunted or over-exaggerated. It was a simple and comforting beauty. And she wanted to talk to Virgil about something. This made Virgil smile.

Virgil quickly shot out, "What did she want to talk about? Something important?"

Arthur shrugged, saying with a hint of sarcasm in his voice, "Who knows, man? If it's really that important, why don't you go call her right now and find out?"

Arthur felt himself slowly drifting back to sleep when he heard the dial tone to his right. Arthur tried to ignore it, until the phone's dial tone was put on speaker. Arthur lifted his head, giving Virgil an annoyed look, but Virgil only had a mischievous smile as he held his phone up in his hand.

Arthur groaned, "I was being sarcastic. What girl is going to be up at 11 PM?"

The phone rang once more, before there was a click, and the two boys heard, "Hey, Virgil! What are you doing up so late?"

Virgil smirked at Arthur, who climbed out of bed and rubbed his eyes.

"I guess I'm up." Arthur sighed.

Virgil chuckled into the phone, "Hey Kaho. Arthur told me that you wanted to talk to me, so I was returning your call."

"At 11 at night? Shouldn't you be asleep?" Kaho mused through the phone. Kaho then quickly slipped in, "What trouble are you two looking for tonight?"

Virgil immediately shot back, "You're still awake."

"Our class announcements don't write themselves, Mr. Professional Slacker." Kaho laughed through the phone.

Arthur laughed while laying on his back, "Yeah, if you want to find a Pandora to link with you're gonna actually have to bring something useful to the table, Virgil. Or you'll be known as Virgil the Virgin your entire stay here at West Genetics."

Kaho fell silent on the phone, but Virgil immediately asked Arthur in a worried voice, "Wait, do people actually call me Virgil the Virgin? I've only been here for 3 months. How do I already have a nickname like Virgil the Virgin?"

Arthur chuckled.

"What I wanted to talk about isn't really something that we can talk about over the phone, Virgil. Why don't you come and meet me?" Kaho asked over the phone.

Arthur lifted out of the bed, looking at Virgil. Virgil blinked in shock, hearing this from Kaho. He looked over at Arthur as well.

Virgil gulped as if his throat had just become incredibly dry. Virgil was about to speak, when Arthur said, "He'll be right over!"

Virgil immediately clicked the mute button on his phone, and he said, "Dude! What are you doing?"

"Hello?" Kaho's voice rang from the phone, but it fell on seemingly deaf ears.

Arthur's face hardened like stone, like something out of an anime. He then said, "This is your chance, Virgil. This is your chance to settle down with Kaho, and you two can become Pandora and Limiter."

Virgil's face also hardened like Arthur's, only letting out a little huff. "You don't mean…"

"It doesn't have to mean that." Arthur quickly interjected.

"But it could," Virgil said, then nodding, "That would be…insane."

"HEY!" Kaho shouted from the phone, and both Virgil and Arthur jumped back into reality from their friend's voice. Both Virgil and Arthur hovered over the phone and then looked at each other. Virgil then clicked the unmute button, and he cleared his throat.

"Sorry about that, Kaho. Where did you want to meet me?" Virgil said.

"Meet me in the lobby of my dorm. We can talk there." Kaho sighed, and Virgil immediately responded.

"Sounds good. Sounds great. I'll see you there."

Kaho clicked the phone off, not even responding.

Virgil and Arthur glanced at each other, and Arthur gave him the thumbs up. Virgil rolled his eyes and tossed on some sweatpants and a black t-shirt.

Virgil couldn't help but feel uncomfortable walking into the "Eros Female Building" Dorm Hall. Several 1st and 2nd-year Pandoras looked at him in confusion.

"Who invited the fish here?" One girl whispered loud enough for Virgil to hear, as he walked towards the entrance to the lobby.

"Isn't that the Bathroom Boogieman?" A 2nd Year Pandora said as she and her limiter walked down the hall.

'Please don't call me that.' Virgil thought to himself in silence.

There was a gasp, and Virgil prepared to be called "Virgil the Virgin" when he heard a little squeak of terror.

"It's the Untouchable Queen!" A 1st year and her friends squeaked in high-pitched voices, as they ran into their dorm room.

Virgil looked up and saw that he had nearly bumped into a beautiful young woman with long blonde hair that reached down to her back. Her blonde hair had several bangs hanging over the left side of her forehead, with a blue headband over her hair to keep it in place. The young woman had beautiful blue eyes, but they seemed cold and distant. She wore a pair of black, semi-rimmed glasses. The girl was in full uniform, as if she were headed off to class.

Virgil and her stood in front of each other for a moment, looking at each other. Virgil tiled his head and thought, 'Untouchable Queen. Heard of her before, just can't put a name to her face.'

The girl looked at Virgil, narrowing her eyes at him, as if expecting him to move. Virgil tilted his head the other way, still thinking.

The girl opened her mouth to speak, when Virgil snapped his fingers and pointed at her, "Satellizer!" The girl jumped at her name being called out loud. Virgil then snapped again and chuckled, "Satellizer L. Bridget!"

Satellizer blinked in confusion as Virgil continued, "You're Satellizer L. Bridget. The 1st ranked 2nd Year student, aren't you?"

Satellizer, still in a haze of confusion, nodded and cautiously said, "Yes, that's me. And you are?"

"Virgil Hawkins," Virgil said, beaming out his cheerful smile and extending his hand. Satellizer looked down at Virgil's hand, then back at him.

There were seconds of awkward silence, with Virgil smiling at Satellizer and Satellizer not smiling back at Virgil. Virgil tilted his head slightly while still holding his smile.

"You're bleeding through your bandage, Virgil Hawkins." Satellizer simply said. Virgil looked down and saw that bandage he wrapped around his knuckles earlier was bleeding through and dripping on the floor.

"Dang it." Virgil said, causing his voice to crack. Virgil blushed and said, "Thanks. I probably should get that cleared up."

"Probably."

Virgil winched at that, as he saw Satellizer still standing in front of him, as if she were waiting for the conversation to be over. Virgil nodded and said, "Cool. Cool. Thanks for the help."

"Didn't do much." Satellizer quickly shot back, and Virgil with equal speed snapped back.

"Stopping me from bleeding out is a big enough help for me."

"You wouldn't bleed out from a cut on your knuckles." Satellizer said as if it were a matter of fact. Virgil nodded and opened his mouth, and Satellizer then shook her head and continued, "If you got hit in the chest or in the head, sure. If you got your whole arm cut off, definitely. But a cut on your knuckles, no way. You'd have to be the world's biggest idiot."

Virgil was about to say something, when he heard, "Virgil? What are you doing?" Virgil looked up to the entrance to the dorm's lobby. Kaho was standing there with glitter on her face, in red panda pajamas.

Kaho looked at Virgil, then at Satellizer, and a look of concern and caution came across her face.

Kaho grabbed Virgil's wrist, and she immediately said, "I've been waiting for you, let's go."

Virgil blushed at Kaho holding his wrist, then he waved to Satellizer.

"See ya later, Satellizer!" Virgil laughed, and Satellizer winched at him.

Virgil has pulled away into the lobby, as Satellizer was left alone in the hallway.

'That guy was extremely cheerful. It was a bit weird.' Satellizer thought to herself, before looking back to see several of the hallway dorm doors were cracked open and students were watching her. They all gulped and immediately shut them when they saw Satellizer looking at them.

Satellizer then noticed something, and she whispered it aloud, "He called me by my name…not the Untouchable Queen."

The young Pandora then thought to herself, 'Virgil Hawkins. Where have I heard that name before?'

"What do you think you were doing?" Kaho asked Virgil, as the two of them entered into the lobby. Most of the lobby was empty, but there was a working space that had several posters covered in art, glitter, and big letters that promoted different issues.

Virgil read one poster that said, 'Embrace Limiter/Pandora Exclusiveness'. Virgil looked at another when he felt a slight push on his shoulder.

"Virgil!" Virgil looked at Kaho, who had a very concerned look on her face.

"Huh, sorry. What?"

"Why were you talking to the Untouchable Queen? She's dangerous. You need to stay away from her." Kaho poked Virgil on his chest, and he chuckled lightly. Kaho responded by narrowing her eyes at him, but Virgil nodded and quickly put his hands up in surrender.

"I didn't even remember who the Untouchable Queen was, Kaho. I just wanted to say hello, because we almost ran into each other." Virgil chuckled in his defense.

Kaho blinked in shock, and she quickly whispered, "She nearly killed the last Limiter that touched her. That's why she ended up being transferred over to West Genetics."

Virgil remained silent after hearing this. He began to wonder what would cause someone to react in such a way. Maybe there was more to this story than everyone else knew or cared to find out. Or maybe things were simple. She could have just been a violent person.

Virgil rubbed his thigh, thinking about how he was nearly killed by Ganessa and Arnett earlier tonight. 'Pandora can be very dangerous, even for me.'

Kaho saw that Virgil was in deep thought, so she put her hand on his shoulder and she gave him a warm smile, "I just want you to stay safe, Virgil."

Virgil smirked and laughed, "Class President wants to make sure all her peers get to year 2, I see."

Kaho laughed and then nudged him with her elbow, "I want my FRIENDS to get to year 2. If Arthur gets into trouble, Ganessa can come running to his rescue. You don't have a Pandora partner yet."

"Yet." Virgil whispered, thinking about all that came with becoming the partner to a Pandora. That was basically a lifelong commitment. They became forever connected by the stigmata given to the Limiter. Not only that, but the connections they forge often carried on past their military career.

'If they even make it past their military career…' Virgil thought sadly. A frown formed on his face, as Virgil thought about those around him and how they were going to put their lives on the line to protect the world. He knew if they were going to lay down their lives to defend the Earth, he also had to do the same.

Kaho saw the determined look on Virgil's face, and she immediately said, "Don't worry about it, Virgil. You're a really sweet guy. I'm sure anyone would be happy to end up your partner. Most Pandora go after a 1st year with consistent physical and mental statistics, high stigmata compatibility, and finally personality and relationship compatibility. You just haven't been here long enough for your data to consistently come out."

Virgil knew that Kaho was just trying to make him feel better, so he only smiled and nodded to her, "Thanks, Kaho."

Kaho smiled at Virgil and she nodded, "I also wanted to talk to you about Pandora and Limiters." A small blush appeared on Kaho's face, as she sat down on a small couch and continued to little pat glitter onto a poster that said, "Hiiragi, Class President of the 2nd years."

'She's going to run for Class President next year as well. She'd do great.'

Virgil took a seat across from the table Kaho was working from, and he helped stack and line up papers that Kaho had loosely left around the table. Kaho smiled, appreciating the help.

Kaho then cleared her throat and said, "I was talking to my family about potential Limiter compatibility lately."

Virgil smiles and nods, "I talked to my pops recently too. It wasn't about Pandora stuff. Well not really. I mentioned my classmates and you, so I guess it was about Pandora stuff."

Kaho raised her eyebrows, surprised, "You talk about me to your parents?"

Virgil nodded and lightly said, "Eh…yeah just my pops. But what were you saying, sorry."

Kaho continued, although her spreading of the glitter was now getting more sloppy and rattled. Kaho then started speaking again, "Well, you came up in my conversation with my parents as well, Virgil. And we talked about stuff like how your compatibility scores had not come in, and how you were new to the area and the world of Pandoras, Limiters, and Nova."

Virgil carefully listened, while running his hand down the papers he was holding to make them straight and lined up.

Kaho then finished, "So…I was wondering if you would consider…checking our stigmata compatibility rate…"

Virgil stopped lining up the papers and seemingly froze. Kaho shook the glitter duster so hard that the top popped open, causing glitter to spread all over her poster. Kaho awkwardly looked down at her poster, seeing it was ruined. Virgil awkwardly looked down at Kaho's poster, trying to fully grasp what she had just asked him.

In Space, Near Earth

A wave of extradimensional energy rippled through the universe, causing distortions and tears in space-time.

The extradimensional energy rushed over Earth, causing a portal to begin to open near Tokyo, Japan.

Tokyo's streets were still booming, so the appearance of a massive portal at the center of Tokyo caused the people within the city to begin scrambling away in fear and caution.

Things only became more chaotic when a massive Nova exited the portal, causing the entire city to fall silent. The silence hung in the air for several moments, as the Nova tilted its head towards the humans within the city. This silence was then broken, as the Nova released a massive roar that began shaking the entire city. The roaring only intensified, as people began to scramble away from the site, in a desperate attempt to escape the incoming carnage.

"Are you asking to partner up with me?" Virgil asked Kaho, who was blushing extremely hard at her peer.

Kaho began to furiously wave her hands, as she shyly blasted out her words at incredible speeds. "Of course I'm not asking to pair with you, Virgil! You and I are both 1st years, and it is a rule that 1st year Pandora cannot form a Limiter bond because they must learn the basic skills of a Pandora before learning about Freezing and the Ereinbar Set."

Virgil thought about it, then he became a bit flustered, "So, if we were both 2nd years?"

Kaho blushed, but she just nodded, "We would be able to actually form a Limiter and Pandora relationship. We could test our compatibility beforehand, and then next year, if we both wanted to, we could become partners."

Virgil looked at Kaho, who was now refusing to look at him. She was dusting the glitter off of her poster in a vain attempt to save her project. Virgil thought about the idea of being partners with Kaho. He had to admit that he did like Kaho. She was an extremely kind person, she was very driven, and she was a natural leader. Virgil could tell that she was the top student in their class.

And Virgil couldn't help but notice how beautiful Kaho was as well. Virgil became flustered looking at his peer in her red panda pajamas. Kaho, was blushing while looking at her feet, awaiting an answer.

'And she wants to be paired with me?' Virgil thought, 'This could be life long. We would fight battle together. Fight against the Nova to save the world.'

Virgil then thought about it, and he blinked in shock, gasping aloud. This caught Kaho's attention, causing her to glance at Virgil, who was still deep in thought, 'I'd have to tell her that I'm Static. She'd find out my secret. Would I even be able to stay Static if I were her partner? That wouldn't be fair to hide something lille that from her.'

"What are you thinking, Virgil?" Kaho nervously asked.

Virgil looked at Kaho, and then he sighed, "Why do you want to be paired up with me? There are several guys in our class who you could team up with. Or you could wait until next year, when the next class of 1st years come aboard, and find a 1st year companion with them."

Kaho blushed after hearing Virgil say this, but she followed this up with a light giggle. Kaho smiled and said, "You understand that the connection a Limiter makes with a Pandora is beyond military combat purposes?"

"Of course." Virgil quickly said back.

"If we became partners, we'd be connected to each other for the rest of our lives. My stigmata would be implanted inside of you. We would march into the jaws of death together." Kaho said to Virgil.

"I know." Virgil nodded again, with an equal amount of zeal and quickness.

"That's why I want to be your partner, Virgil." Kaho smiled, and tilted her head at him. Virgil blushed at this, and Kaho continued, "Ever since we met, you've had this determination to protect humanity. You didn't come here for fame or the easy post-military life, that Pandora and Limiters are promised. You came to serve."

"Like a hero." Kaho whispered, and she smiled at Virgil. Virgil smiled back at Kaho, and he couldn't help but admit that the idea of linking up and becoming Kaho's partner was very appealing.

Virgil rubbed the back of his neck, and Kaho continued, "And, honestly…if I had to choose someone who would be my partner until our death. It would be you."

'This is really happening.' Virgil thought, as he opened his mouth to respond.

WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!

The emergency alarms for West Genetics began blaring throughout the entire campus, causing both Kaho and Virgil to grab their ears in frustration.

Virgil and Kaho got up to their feet and Kaho tried to shout over the alarms, "It's a Nova alert! There must have been a Nova that appeared nearby!"

Virgil shook his head, processing this new threat that may have appeared. Virgil and Kaho looked up to see several Pandora and Limiters scrambling out of their rooms, most in their uniforms.

Virgil looked down and reached to help grab Kaho's posters, but she waved him off and said, "No! We need to go and join them. Leave the posters."

Kaho was then engulfed in a brilliant blue light, as the stigmata on her back began to glow brightly. Kaho's clothes burned away in a flash, which caused Virgil to quickly turned away while blushing. Kaho's Volt Texture uniform instantly formed over her, and she was in full uniform now.

Kaho patted Virgil on the shoulder, saying, "Thanks for looking away."

"Let's go." Virgil said, and the two exited the building with the wave of students, as they ran up to a platiform that had the headmaster and several of West Genetics' facility members, who were also all in Volt Texture, ready to deploy.

The headmaster of the school raised her voice, calling all the students to be silent and listen to her.

"A Nova has appeared in Tokyo, and we are currently the closest and functioning Pandora response team. I want all 3rd and 4th year Pandora, and their Limiters, to prepare for immediate deployment."

A flurry of noises and shouts came from the crowd of students. Virgil glanced over at Kaho, who had a very worried look on her face. Virgil put his hand on her shoulder and he nodded to her. Kaho saw this and she smiled at him.

"All 2nd year Pandora and their Limiters will be put on the perimeter of the island to act as defense in case this Nova Clash extended past Tokyo." The headmaster said, "1st year Pandora and 1st year males who are not Limiters need to return to your rooms. You would only get in the way."

"You're leaving us out of this?!" Virgil cringed when he looked over to see Ganessa Roland, pointing at the headmaster. Virgil looked behind Ganessa and saw Arthur, who also in his uniform. Arthur nodded to Virgil, and he lifted up a spare uniform.

As the headmaster tried to quiet down the 2nd years that were becoming rowdy because of Ganessa's comment, Virgil tapped Kaho and said, "I'm going to grab my uniform and find a place to put it on. I'll meet you back here."

Kaho nodded at him, then directed her attention back to the headmaster. Virgil ran up to Arthur, grabbing the spare uniform. As he tried to slip away, Arthur grabbed him and he said, "Dude, say hello to my girlfriend too."

Virgil looked at Ganessa, and Ganessa looked back at him and a prideful smile came across her face. She then said, "You're one of Arthur's 1st year friends, right?"

Virgil nodded, not saying anything.

'If I talk and she recognizes my voice, I'm dead.'

"Can you not talk?" Ganessa asked in confusion.

Virgil gulped and then he looked at Arthur. Arthur bucked his eyes at Virgil, tilting his head towards Ganessa. Virgil then looked at Ganessa and continued.

"Sorry ma'am." Virgil said, trying to make his voice sound deeper. Ganessa blinked in confusion. Virgil then nodded and continued making his voice sound deeper, "I'll catch you guys on the flipside."

Virgil then turned and continued towards his dorm.

Ganessa looked at Arthur and said, "He was a bit of a wreck. These new American exchange students sure are weird."

Arthur shrugged and said, "He was probably just nervous about talking to you again."

"I've met him before?" Ganessa asked, and Arthur nodded like she was a moron.

"We all eat lunch together every Wednesday and Friday, babe." Arthur said.

Ganessa shook her head, and whispered to herself, "No…I do feel like I've heard his voice before."

Virgil ran past the Eros Dorm Hall, almost trying to prepare himself for battle.

'I've never fought a Nova before. I don't even know how much help I'd be. Would the Pandora mind if a vigilante fought with them?' Virgil thought to himself, as he turned the corner of a building.

Virgil continued toward his dorm, where his suit was. Virgil then thought to himself, 'I wonder if the Justice League will arrive to fight with the Pandora like they did when that Nova appeared in India?'

Virgil turned the corner of another building, but this time, he collided with someone who was also in a sprint of their own. Virgil and this person both hit the ground, hitting their butts.

"Dang it," Virgil said aloud, before looking up to see that the person on the ground in front of him was Satellizer L. Bridget.

"Ow," Satellizer whispered to herself, as she had her eyes closed and she was rubbing the top of her head. Apparently Virgil headbutted her when he ran into her.

When she opened her eyes, she was surprised to see Virgil sitting in front of her. She narrowed her eyes at Virgil, growling, "Why'd you do that?"

"It was an accident!" Virgil immeidately said, pushing himself up. "I was trying to get back to my room and change into my uniform. I didn't mean to crash into you. I guess we both should be more careful."

"That's not a real apology-" Satellizer started, when Virgil startled her.

Virgil grabbed Satellizer's hand and pulled her to her feet, causing Satellizer to instinctively pull her hand away. However, as Satellizer's hand was pulled away, a jolt of electricity formed between Virgil and Satellizer's hands, pulling them together again.

Much to Satellizer's surprise, the horrible feelings of having someone touch her were not present. They were far from her, in fact. She looked up at Virgil in confusion, who was also looking at her in confusion.

'What just happened?' Virgil thought to himself, as he feared his powers were freaking out of his control again.

"What just happened?" Satellizer said with a mix of caution, confusion, and fear in her voice. This caused Virgil to jump in caution. As if expecting her to lash out and attack him.

Virgil yanked his hand away from Satellizer, and Satellizer's stigmata began to glow extremely bright. Satellizer blinked in shock at Virgil, as a wave of bliss and peace were flooded into Satellizer by her stigmata.

"I…didn't mean to do that. Sorry, about that! Be safe." Virgil said, before turning away and running up the stairs to his dorm room.

Satellizer watched Virgil leave, as she looked down at her hand and felt a small jolt of electricity still flowing through her fingers.

"What…just happened?" Satellizer asked herself aloud again, when she got a ping on his Volt Texture's communicator. Satellizer looked down at it, seeing that she has been assigned to the West Wall of the island's defense wall.

Satellizer frowned at the thought of her being sidelined from the actual battle. She then felt a peace fall on her again, which caused her to instinctively look up to where Virgil should have been. But he was long gone.

As Pandora and Limiters were flying away in dozens of carrier planes towards the battle in Tokyo, a small portal rippled open at the West Wall of West Genetics.

Out of this portal leapt a dozen humanoid Nova creatures. These Nova had a dinosaur-like appearance, with their skin a pale deathly white color.

The 12 Novas were about to go forward, when a woman with long dark blue hair that reached down to her back, walked out of the portal. She had hard and cold amber eyes. Her uniform was incredibly similar to that of a West Genetic Pandora's uniform. Her skin was also pale and white, with pieces of it metallic, like the Nova.

The woman flicked her wrist, and 12 red leash-like energy whips wrapped around the Nova's necks. The Nova shrieked in pain and anger, but after a few seconds, they fell silent.

The woman then nodded and said, "You have your mission. Find my stigmata. Go."

The Nova immediately sprung into action.

Virgil pulled his Static suit on, groaning in pain at the wound on his thigh and the wound on his hand.

Virgil pulled down his Static mask and hood, before going to the bathroom and opening the bathroom's window. Static whipped his fingers forward, instinctively calling up a manhole cover for him to use as transportation.

Static sighed as he leapt on top of his manhole cover, and groaned, "I really need better transportation."

Static flew out towards the airfield, where the final planes were taking off towards Japan.

'If I can hitch a ride on one of these planes, I could save some energy from flying. That'd be ideal.' Static thought to himself, as he rocketed towards the airfield trying to get there as soon as possible.

"We should be out there with them!" Ganessa roared, as she stood on the West Wall, with Arthur behind her sweat-dropped at his girlfriend's roars.

Ganessa glared over to Satellizer, who had also been assigned to this section of the West Wall as well. Ganessa growled, "Not only am I not able to see any real action with the 3rd or 4th years, but I'm stuck with my rival."

Satellizer glanced over at Ganessa with an uninterested look. She simply said, "We're rivals? That's news to me. Most rivals are comparable. We're nothing alike. In power, speed, or skill."

Ganessa took a step towards Satellizer, and Satellizer flexed her hand, prepared to also attack, when Arthur stepped in front of Ganessa and said, "That's enough."

Ganessa blinked in shock at Arthur's protest, but Arthur continued, "We're needed here. It may not be a glamorous position, but it's one we've been trusted with. So let's just focus on doing our job. Is that okay?"

Ganessa thought about it, but then she opened her mouth to speak. Arthur raised an eyebrow at her, and she looked away from Satellizer and said, "Whatever. Just tell that freak over there to not speak to us."

Arthur glanced at Satellizer, who already had her back turned to Arthur and Ganessa. Arthur simply said, "Sorry about her. She's just excited for battle."

"Sure." Satellizer coldly said. She then turned away from the pair and looked towards the ocean. The sea seemed wild and chaotic, and it matched how Satellizer was currently feeling now.

'I should be out there, helping the others. Not stuck here,' Satellizer glanced over to see Ganessa holding her head up high in pride, 'With this moron.'

The service door for the Wall's elevator swung open, and Kaho exited out of the elevator with a very concerned look on her face. Arthur was the first to greet her.

"Hey Kaho. What are you doing here?" Arthur asked.

Ganessa quickly interjected, "Yeah, you're a 1st year. You are all supposed to just stay out of the way because you're kinda useless right now." Ganessa smirked at Kaho, who became flustered at Ganessa's comment.

Arthur waved Ganessa off, and nodded to Kaho, "What's going on Kaho?"

Kaho quickly said, "Virgil said he was going to come back to my place and meet me after he changed. But he never showed up. So I went back to your place, and all I found were bloody bandages and an unlocked door."

Arthur blinked in shock and said, "He left our door unlocked again? And why would he have bloody bandages in our place?"

Ganessa sniffed, as if she wasn't interested in the conversation again. Satellizer, however, directed her attention to the two 1st years.

"He did have a deep cut on his hand early tonight." Satellizer interjected into the conversation. Both Kaho and Arthur looked at Satellizer in shock.

"Umm…" Arthur muttered, trying to understand why the Untouchable Queen was even acknowledging their presence. Her speaking with Ganessa made sense. Ganessa was second ranked, and the closest thing to a class rival Satellizer had. But Kaho and Arthur should have been completely off her radar. And how did she even know Virgil, or notice some cut on his hand.

"Was he alright? I didn't even notice a cut on his hand." Kaho asked, sounding concerned.

Satellizer nodded, "He looked fine when we parted ways last time."

Both Kaho and Arthur glanced at Satellizer. Kaho blinked in fear and said, "You two met against after he nearly ran into you at my dorm? And what are you doing here, Untouc…I mean, Ms. L Bridget?"

Ganessa smirked at Satellizer, laughing, "Number 1 and I were partnered up. So we're stuck together for now."

Satellizer simply looked at her and said, "For now."

Ganessa growled, but before she could say something, Satellizer directed her attention back to Kaho, "You were talking about Virgil Hawkins. What do you know about him?"

Kaho and Arthur looked at each other in confusion, then they looked at Satellizer. Kaho then cautiously said, "He's a 1st year, like us. He's also an American Exchange Student. He's been having a difficult time fitting in."

"Because he's the Bathroom Boogieman." Ganessa whispered, and Arthur looked at Ganessa and immediately responded.

"That was a mistake, babe. He accidently went into the wrong room and fell asleep." Arthur tried to explain the situation the way Virgil had explained it to him.

Satellizer walked up to Kaho, saying, "Is he a suspicious person? Or can he be trusted?"

Kaho blinked at the question. She nodded and shyly said, "He can definitely be trusted. He's an oddball, but he's as dedicated to help humanity as any other Limiter candidate here at West Genetics. He's a really good guy."

"Hmm." Ganessa made a noise, causing Kaho to blush, "Sounds like he's a bit more than a friend, Ms. Hiiragi."

Satellizer thought to herself, reminded of the feelings that she had when he touched her, 'Why didn't I feel that horrible feeling when he touched me? What makes him so special? And who is Virgil Hawkins exactly?'

As Satellizer was thinking to herself, she nor did her peers, see that the humanoid Nova creatures were climbing up the side of the wall, heading towards them. Satellizer's train of thought was cut off, when Kaho gasped in shock while looking at something behind her.

Kaho shouted, "Look out!"

A large white claw grabbed Satellizer from behind, revealing one of the Nova creatures. Satellizer and the Nova were both pulled over the side of the wall, and they were sent tumbling downward toward the beach on the side of the wall that faced the sea.

Kaho reached for Satellizer to try to grab her, but she instinctively jumped back as one of the Nova creatures climbing the wall swipe its massive claw at her head. Kaho yelped in shock, overextending her jump.

Kaho went tumbling off the other side of the wall, this side facing West Genetics. Arthur tried to grab hold of Kaho, but he missed his grab by a couple inches, and Kaho was sent tumbling towards the Earth.

"AAAAHHH!" Kaho screamed in terror, when she felt an electric sensation on her back. Kaho found herself being caught and carried in a bridal position by Static.

"What?!" Kaho shouted in fear, as Static stopped her descent, flying back to the top of the way.

Static laughed, "Wow, you ladies at West Genetics play hot potato hardcore!"

Kaho wrapped her arms around Static, as he picked up the speed, screaming in his ear incredibly loud.

"Ahhh! Ears!" Static shouted, as he got to the top of the wall and was left in confusion as he saw Ganessa and Arthur fighting against white humanoid Nova. Static twisted on his manhole cover, causing Kaho to also shift.

"What's going on here?" Static asked in confusion, when a humanoid Nova leapt at Static from behind, knocking Kaho and him off of their manhole board. Static and Kaho fell over the wall once again, but this time Ganessa fired one of his Volt Weapon Chains that wrapped around Kaho's body and pulled her from the side of the wall.

Static was not so lucky, as he tumbled downward towards the beachhead. Static however, summoned his manhole cover with his electricity and landed on top of it again. Static was about to head back up to face off against the two Nova that Ganessa, Arthur, and Kaho would have had to face, but something caught his eye.

Static looked down to see Satellizer surrounded by several of these Nova, as they prowled around her. Satellizer held up her Nova Blood as if she were waiting for one of them to strike. The first one came at her from behind, but she easily twisted around and slashed downward with her Nova Blood. The Nova was cut right now the middle, splitting in half.

The other Nova pounced at her, which caused Static to leap into attack.

Satellizer ducked under the crawl swing of one of the Nova attacking her from her side. Satellizer thought to herself, 'Need to switch from offense to defense every 3 seconds. Kill one then defend or dodge.'

Satellizer followed through with this thought by slashing off this humanoid Nova's head with a single slash of her Nova Blood.

Two Nova leapt at Satellizer from each side, and Satellizer was left open for the attack, when she heard, "Watch out, Satellizer!"

Satellizer was pulled out of the fight, looking at who was calling out to her. Much to her surprise, Satellizer saw Static zooming towards her. Static kicked his manhole cover from under him and propelled it spiralling forward with electricty. The manhole cover crashed into the Nova coming at Satellizer from her right.

Static then charged up energy in his fist, and he flew down and punched the Nova coming at Satellizer on her left. The Nova was pushed back several feet but was still active.

Static slide to a stop next to Satellizer, who twisted Nova Blood in her hand and looked at him with caution.

'How'd this guy know my name?' Satellizer thought to herself.

"You alright?" Static asked Satellizer, who raised an eyebrow towards him. Static was about to say something witty, when he saw a Nova leap at Satellizer. "Heads up!"

Static was about to charge up an attack when Satellizer turned and quickly cut the Nova leaping at her from shoulder to shoulder. The Nova's head flapped in the air and rolled to the ground. Static responded by charging a ball of electricity in his hand and blasting it forward at the two charging Nova that he stopped from attacking Satellizer.

The ball of electricity pulled the two Nova into it, trapping them inside of it. Satellizer saw this opening, causing her to instinctive leap forward, flying into the ball of electricity that trapped the Novas.

"WAIT!" Static shouted, but Satellizer leap into it and cut the two Nova to pieces. Satellizer leap backwards out of the electric trap with her clothes burning and sparking with electricity, but for the most part, she was unfazed by the damage.

Static grabbed her from hitting the ground, but Satellizer had too much momentum, causing the two of them to tumble backwards on their backs.

While the two were on the ground, one more Nova leapt at them to sneak attack them while they were down. Both Static and Satellizer gasped, as Static pulled Satellizer under him, using his back as a shield.

However, much to both Satellizer and Static's surprise, one of Ganessa's Chains of Bondage pierced the head of the Nova, killing it on the spot. Ganessa landed on the ground in front of the two.

Ganessa's proud smirk turned to a look of disgust when she saw Static, "Seriously? You're here too, vigilante guy?"

Static was about to say something, when he remembered he was on top of Satellizer. Static looked down at Satellizer, who was blushed and looked uncomfortable. "Sorry about that. I just naturally pulled you under me to protect me. Sorry."

Static stood up, pulling Satellizer up with him. This is when Satellizer felt it again. A wave of calming peace and bliss came over her as Static helped her to her feet.

"What is this?" Satellizer asked in confused, as she blushed while looking at Static.

Static blinked in confusion, while letting go of Satellizer's hand. However, like before, static electricity pulled their hands together again.

Kaho landed on the beach, with Arthur riding on her back. Arthur immediately got off of Kaho's back and pointed at Static.

"No way!" Arthur shouted, "You're Static! The hero from America!"

Static smiled, finally pulling his hand free from Satellizer's, then waving and trying to make his voice sound deeper, "Yep, that's me, dude! Static! And who might you be, little boy?"

"What's wrong with your voice?" Ganessa grumbled behind him, causing him to sweatdrop.

Satellizer eyed Static in confusion for a moment, then she connected the dots. That feeling that she felt when they touched. The literal sparks that caught up between them. She knew who this young hero was.

"How interesting." The five teens heard from the end of the beach. The blue haired woman who had the remaining humanoid Nova on leashes looked at the five teens with a look of interest. Her eyes hovered on Ganessa and Kaho for a moment, but they stopped on Satellizer. She smiled and said, "You are causing a lot of trouble to hold on to stigmata that aren't yours."

Satellizer narrowed her eyes at the woman and said, "I don't know who you are, or what you want, but you seem to be the one in control of these humanoid Nova. So I'm taking you out."

The woman looked at the remaining Nova and nodded, "Leave. I will collect the Stigmata myself." The Nova responded by disappearing in strange dimensional distortions. The woman turned to say something when Satellizer leaped forward to attack her.

Satellizer leapt forward at the woman, who summon a large sword similar to a Pandora Volt Weapon. Satellizer ignored any thoughts of interest as she aimed her Nova Blood at the woman's chest. The woman stood there, allowing Nova Blood to slam into her. Much to Satellizer's surprise, Nova Blood could not even pierce the young woman's skin. It barely even ripped the clothing that she had on.

"What?!" Satellizer said with wide eyes. The woman responded by swinging her massive sword downward at Satellizer. Much to her surprise, Static leapt forward, with Kaho next to him with dual Volt Weapon swords drawn out. Static kicked the woman in the face with his foot charged up with electricity, while also grabbing Satellizer by the waist. Kaho swung her two swords downward at the woman's head, who also tanked those attacks with no damage as well.

Static, Satellizer, and Kaho went flying back away from the woman. Satellizer landed ontop of Static, while Kaho slammed against the ground on her back.

The woman looked at Static and said aloud, "Interesting. This human male has abilities that allow him to battle on par with the Pandora."

"FREEZING!" Arthur shouted, as he activated his Freezing field outward around this hostile woman. The Freezing field locked her in place, and caused her to grunt in frustration. She looked up at Arthur and then narrowed her eyes.

"A Limiter with a Freezing field? Less impressive. I'll take you out first." The woman said. Much to her surprise, the woman did not see that Ganessa had leapt into the air with her Chains of Bondage already sharpened and ready for blood.

Ganessa roared, "You think I'll let you touch him?! You're more delusional that I thought!" Ganessa sent a Chain of Bondage rocketing towards the woman's head. The woman's eyes widened and she opened her mouth.

"Anti-FREEZING." The woman said with an unearthly voice, releasing a omni-directional red energy outward that shattered Arthur's blue Freezing field. The red field covered Satellizer, Arthur, Static, Kaho, and Ganessa completely.

Ganessa fell to the ground, landing on her face. She struggled to move, but the woman put her foot on Ganessa's head.

"Stay down, little sister." The woman coldly said, applying pressure to her foot. Ganessa roared in pain, as she felt her skull was about to crack.

Arthur struggled to speak, "S…st…stop!"

The woman ignored him, continuing to apply pressure.

Static looked to his left, seeing Satellizer struggling to move. Static looked to his right, seeing that Kaho was breathing hard and seemingly out of energy. 'She's less trained and experienced. Kaho should never have been involved with this battle.'

Static used his electromagnetism to lift his manhole cover off the ground and he sent it spirally at the assailant woman with dangerous speeds. The manhole cover hit the woman on the foot that was crushing Ganessa. The woman instinctively leapt into the air, landing on the ground now facing Static, who still couldn't move.

"Full of surprises, aren't you." The woman quickly said, summoning her large Volt Weapon again. Static struggled to move as the woman leapt forward with her sword ready to kill him. Static felt a jolt of electricity go through his body, causing him to flip out of the way of the woman's attack.

Static flipped out of the way, landing on his feet.

The woman glanced at the young hero, thinking to herself, 'He's able to move inside the Freezing field I've casted? Incredible. I might have to take this human back with me as well.'

Static summoned his manhole cover, slinging it forward at the woman. The woman was struck in the face by it, causing her to stumble back a step. Static summoned the manhole cover to him again, slinging it outward once again, striking the woman in the chest with more power and speed. The woman growled, as the manhole cover flew back to Static once more, who kicked it with an electric charged kick. The manhole cover seemingly was caught ablaze by electric blue flames, as it flew at her.

The manhole cover dug into the woman's chest, as Static roared, "Volting Spiral Flame!" The woman slipped pushed the manhole cover out of her chest while growling at Static.

"That's enough, little boy." The woman said, before flashing in front of Static again and swinging her sword down at him. Static was sure he was going to die, when a red laser fired downward at the woman, causing her to leap backwards.

A beautiful young woman with somewhat pale, skin, long curly blonde hair that reached down to her back, and dark blue eyes, landed in front of Static. She had on a West Genetics combat uniform, and Static immediately knew she was a 3rd year. After getting a better look at her, he knew exactly who she was. This was Elizabeth Mably, the Second Ranked 3rd year of West Genetics. She was known as the Queen. Elizabeth had her two Volt Weapons "Asymmetrical Strafing" floating over her shoulders. The two Volt Weapons were glowing bright red, showing that they were in "Enhanced Combat" mode.

Elizabeth's Limiter, Andre Francoise run next to Static, releasing his own Freezing field, freeing the students from the blue-haired woman's freezing field.

"Are you all alright?" Andre asked, as he helped Kaho to her feet. Kaho looked sick, as if she was going to puke. Andre saw this and he said, "You're overworking your stigmata. You're a 1st Year, aren't you? What are you doing in a combat situation."

Satellizer stood to her feet, drawing her Nova Blood and stepping next to Elizabeth. Satellizer glanced at Elizabeth and said, "Stay out of my way. I've got her."

Elizabeth looked at the woman in caution, as she quickly responded, "No you don't. Neither of us have her. She's much too powerful for either of us to take her on alone. And that's not the plan."

"Plan?" Static groaned as he stood, causing everyone to glance at him. He sheepishly backed away and laughed, "Just want to be let in on how we stop this crazy lady."

The blue-haired assailant took a step towards the heroes, with a small smile growing on her face, "You won't be stopping me, young man."

Sparks of energy began twisting and blasting out behind the woman, who turned in shock, as a large gauntlet with blanded fingers emerged from the rip in reality, slamming into the woman's chest. The woman went tumbling backwards, landing on her face in the dirt.

Out of this rip from reality, a young woman, around Elizabeth's age, emerged. She had her eyes narrowed to slits. She had brown flowing hair that reached down to her shoulders, two tied up bangs covering her cheeks and two forehead bangs split up in the middle. The young woman had a sweet smile on her face, and she was also wearing a West Genetics Combat Uniform.

Static blinked in shock, recognizing this girl as well. That was West Genetics' 1st Ranked Third Year Student, Chiffon Fairchild. She was one of the kindest people to greet Virgil at the school. She was also the one who basically demanded that he stay after he considered transferring back to America. Seeing her with a massive Battle Gauntlet was shocking to Static.

'Really need to change my voice so none of them recognize me.' Static blinked in shock while glancing at all his fellow students.

"What was that?" Satellizer asked aloud, cautiously looking at Chiffon.

Elizabeth was about to answer, when Static blurted out loud, "That was the Illusion Turn, wasn't it?"

Chiffon smiled at Static, and said, "That's right." Chiffon then raised his gauntlet finger to her chin and she said, "I've heard your voice before, young man. Have we met?"

Ganessa, who was recovering, with Arthur now at her side, groaned, "Yeah. I've heard his voice before too."

Kaho was about to speak, but then she covered her mouth to stop from puking. Satellizer looked around at the three girls as if they were morons.

'It's obviously, Virgil.' Satellizer thought to herself, before looking at Static, who sheepishly poked his fingers together. Satellizer then thought, 'I guess I won't say anything for now.'

Chiffon smiled at the assailant, directing her attention towards the woman, who was now struggling to get up. Chiffon smiled and said aloud, "Don't bother trying to get up, ma'am. My Volt Weapon is an Anti-Nova weapon. IT is specifically fashioned to me and it can cut through Nova Core's like a knife cuts through butter."

The woman looked at Chiffon and she narrowed her eyes at her. "I wasn't expecting to have to fight you, little sister."

Chiffon responded by slamming her Battle Gauntlet down at the woman. The woman twisted out of the way of the attack, kicking Chiffon in the chest. Chiffon went flying backwards, and used his electricity to catch her mid-air. Chiffon pushed herself forward, crashing down into the ground where the woman once stood.

"She's so fast." Static said aloud.

The woman emerged from the dust, charging at Satellizer. Satellizer prepared to fight, when Elizabeth leapt in front of her, aiming her Volt Weapons at the woman, firing focused short burst laser shots. The shots fired out at the woman, diverting her path away from Elizabeth and Satellizer.

The woman focused at Kaho now, and Static leapt in front of her with his fists charged with electricity. Static punched his fists forward, blasting forward a shot of lightning at the woman. The woman twisted past the lightning, aiming her sword at Static's chest.

Much to Static's surprise, Chiffon appeared in front of him in an instant, using Illusion Turn once again. Chiffon lifted her unguarded left arm, using it as a shield against the woman's massive sword. Much to Static's surprise, Chiffon's arm tanked the attack perfectly. Chiffon then responded by slamming her Battle Gauntlet down at the woman.

The woman leapt back, dodging the attack. However, this left an opening from behind, causing both Satellizer and Elizabeth to strike her in the back with their various attacks. Elizabeth hit the woman on the back with her lasers, while Satellizer slashed down her back with Nova Blood.

The woman growled in anger, before turning and grabbing hold of Satellizer by the throat. Satellizer yelped in fear and pain, as she felt the woman's touch.

The woman said, "I wanted to just take my stigmata back, but I'll be taking all of you, little girl." The woman waved her hand in the air, creating another ripple in time-space.

"NO!" Static shouted, as he ran forward at the woman. The woman leapt into the portal with Satellizer, as Static dove in headfirst after the two.

"STOP!" Elizabeth shouted out for Static, but Chiffon also leapt into the portal after the two!

Static looked around in confusion, seeing a glassy space around him. He saw several strange images flying around him. An image of a young man walking into a tunnel that read, "Ghost Portal". The young man pushed a button and he was engulfed in green energy, causing him to scream in pain.

Static looked to his left and he saw an image of a young man meditating. He seemed like a monk, which was very telling back of his bald head. The most surprising thing was that the young man had a bright blue arrow on his head.

Static then saw an image of himself. It was strange because he was surrounded by people he never really knew. But they looked like a team, surrounded by an army of robotic alien monsters with Omega symbols on their chests. Much to Static's surprise. He recognized one of the teenagers he stood with. It was Satellizer.

"Satellizer!" Static shouted. He almost seemed lost in everything around him, when he finally caught a glimpse at Satellizer still struggling against the woman.

Static propelled himself forward, grabbing hold of the woman's leg, sending a jolt of energy through her body. The woman seemed unfazed by the attack, but she was caught offguard when Chiffon's massive Battle Gauntlet slammed into her back.

The woman released Satellizer, while roaring in pain. Static grabbed Satellizer and pulled her to his chest.

"I got you!" Static promised, and Satellizer instinctively pulled herself closer to him. Chiffon grabbed the both of them with her unguarded arm, and she screamed at them.

"Hold on!"

Chiffon was pulled into her Illusion Turn, and both Satellizer and Static were pulled into it as well.

"What happened to them?" Kaho said, finally regaining her balance.

Elizabeth remained silent, looking at the area the portal used to be. Satellizer was pulled into that portal, and Static leapt after her. Maybe it was some vain attempt to save her. Elizabeth heard some stories about Static, who was a small time vigilante from Dakota City. He made his way to West Genetics for some reason, but he seemed to have a good head on his shoulders. Too bad that good head had not told him to not leap through a trans-dimensional portal.

Ganessa, who was leaning on Arthur's shoulder, asked, "What can we do? We can't just leave them."

Andre looked at Elizabeth, but before he could answer, a ripple in space opened again. Chiffon leapt out of the portal, landing on her feet. Static and Satellizer fell out of the portal as well, landing on their feet. They both nodded at each other, giving each other a small smile.

Satellizer thought, 'He leapt after me. Why? Why'd he risk his life to save me? Who are you, Virgil Hawkins?' Satellizer looked at Static, who blinked and blushed at her.

"Can I have my hand back, ma'am?" Static laughed.

Satellizer saw she was still holding onto Static's hand, and she immediately released. Satellizer turned from Static, now blushing.

Static rubbed his hand, feeling as if it were nearly broken.

"What was that? You can create dimensional portals with your Illusion Turn now, Chiffon?" Elizabeth asked with crossed arms. Chiffon just smiled at Elizabeth, and Elizabeth grumbled, "Of course you can. You've never actually shown your true powers."

Elizabeth narrowed her eyes at Chiffon, thinking, 'The distance between our powers continues to increase. How does she keep going to far ahead of me?'

Chiffon looked at Static, who asked, "What were you two even doing here? Weren't all you 3rd years supposed to be gone to Tokyo?"

Chiffon smiled at Static and said, "We were told to stay back as a leading force for the 2nd years, in case there was an emergency. Lucky for you, right?"

Elizabeth then looked at Static with an uninterested look, "Better question, what are you doing here, Static Shock?"

Arthur, Kaho, Chiffon, Andre, Ganessa, Satellizer, and Elizabeth looked at Static, who blinked in shock.

"I was just…in the area. I saw that you ladies needed help. There was no way I wasn't going to help." Static said, trying to make his voice sound heroic.

Ganessa was the first to shoot back at him, "I didn't need your help, Lightning Bug! I had her on the ropes." Ganessa said, before grabbing her stomach, as if she were going to puke. Apparently, Kaho wasn't the only one to overuse her stigmata in the fight.

Arthur looked at Static and nodded, "I don't know where you came from or why you were here, but I thank God you were here. You saved our bacon."

Static blushed and wiped his nose as he were shy by the compliments.

"You could have been killed." Satellizer interjected, and Static sweatdropped. Satellizer then glanced at him and continued, "You're not a Pandora. If you get ripped to shreds, there's no healing station to drop you in to heal you. You'd just be dead. Find a new hobby, hero."

Satellizer's words stung Static, but he was then surprised when she turned around and said, "But thank you, for the help. You would be a good Limiter candidate if you didn't wear a mask."

Everyone was a bit shocked by Satellizer's final words.

Static was about to quip something, when Chiffon released her Battle Gauntlet and placed her hand on his shoulder. "You were a large help, Static. But that doesn't change the fact that you are wanted for questions by West Genetics' admin."

Static thought, 'Am I going to have to fight this Pandora next?' Static processed that thought for a moment, then he realized that he'd rather just try talking his way through this.

Before Static could speak, Satellzier looked at Chiffon and said, "We should let him off with a warning."

Chiffon looked at Satellizer with a smile. Satellizer was quickly unsettled by Chiffon's smile. Static, on the other hand, felt a warm peace about the smile. Chiffon then looked at Static, and laughed, "What do you think, Static? Should we let you off with a warning, and you just stop doing heroics in our city. And just settle for being a normal young man?"

Static was about to speak, when Chiffon lifted a finger up to his lips and she smiled, "Delightful."

Chiffon then moved pass him and began to talk with Elizabeth, as if the exchange had not even happened. Static blinked in shock, glancing at Satellizer, who nodded at him.

Static looked at Kaho, who had her hands on her knees. Static moved over to her and he asked, "Hey, are you alright?" Static put his hand on her back, and she quickly moved away from him.

"Please don't touch me. I don't know you." Kaho said with caution and discomfort in her voice.

Static then nodded and remembered that he was wearing a mask and a weird suit. Of course she'd find him weird and not want his help.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." Static said, trying to reassure Kaho, who continued to look at him in caution.

Static sighed, when he heard Satellizer say behind him, "You're leaking, again." Static looked back at her, then he looked down at his hand, seeing that his new bandage was bleeding through again.

"Crap." Static said.

"Wait what?" Static blinked at Satellizer, and he gulped, "Again?"

Satellizer nodded and said, "Yes. Again. You're leaking again."

Static blinked and he looked at his bloody knuckles. He then looked up at Satellizer, who was still staring at him.

Satellizer then nodded, "You might want to get that checked out. Head to the Nursey. They should have something there for you."

"The Nursey is for West Genetic students only." Chiffon laughed, while looking back at Satellizer and Static, "You'll have to find some help off our campus. Please leave the premises, Static."

Static nodded, summoning his manhole cover and jumping on it. "Yeah, I'll get to that."

Static rocketed away into the night sky, with the Pandora looking at him fly away.

"What a strange young man." Chiffon said with a smile, before tapping her finger on her chin, "I know that young man's voice, though. Can't put a finger on it."

Elizabeth saw that Static was flying back towards campus, which caused her to tilt her head. 'He's going back towards the school, not the city. Interesting.'

Elizabeth then looked at Chiffon and said, "Who cares about that vigilante? You recognize the woman who attacked us, right?"

Chiffon frowned at Elizabeth, and she slightly nodded, "I do. It was Kazuha Aoi. One of the greatest Pandora to ever live."

Chiffon then nodded to Elizabeth, "She's supposed to be dead."

The Next Day

Virgil sat in class listening to his teacher, Yu-Mi Kim, talk about the importance of Freezing fields when combatting Nova. She was making connections to last night's attack, where the East and West Genetics ended up supporting the Chevalier Pandora against the Nova in Japan.

Virgil rubbed his bandaged hand, while thinking to himself, 'Satellizer knows my identity. She has to. She made it perfectly clear.'

Virgil looked down at his desk, as if waiting for his demise. 'This is the end…of Static, isn't it. She's going to tell everyone. And then my identity will be revealed to the world.'

Virgil cringed at the thought of that. All his enemies and friends, knowing that he was a superhero. This was never the plan.

A note was slipped on his desk, which caused Virgil to look up. Virgil blinded in shock, realizing it was from Kaho, who gave him a small smile and looked back at the board.

Virgil opened the note, and it read,

Pay attention in class, day dreamer!

Xoxo

Hiiragi

Virgil looked up at Kaho, and he smiled at her. Kaho caught his glance, and she smiled back at him.

Virgil and Kaho then heard Kim say, "Lovebirds. Stop your lovey dovey staring, and focus on the class." Virgil and Kaho immediately blushed and looked back at the holoboard at the front of the class. Several students began chuckling, as Kim continued.

As class got out, Kaho, Arthur, and Virgil left together and headed towards the lunchroom.

Arthur looked at Virgil's hand, and he asked, "Dude, how'd you say you busted up your hand again?"

Virgil glanced at Arthur, and then he nervously laughed as he rubbed the back of his neck, "I was being an idiot and cut in on my way back to the dorm. I told you that already."

"Not much of an answer, dude."

"It's the best I can give you."

Arthur and Virgil looked at each other for a second, each having a confused look on their face. Kaho then yawned and stretched.

"I'm still absolutely beat after all that fighting last night." Kaho said. Kaho then nodded to Virgil, "It's best you missed out on the battle. It was super scary."

Arthur laughed, "Yeah, but you should have seen Ganessa. She obliterated anyone who got in her way. It was amazing."

Kaho and Virgil looked at Arthur, who kept hyping up his girlfriend. Virgil then whispered to Kaho.

"He's the most dedicated hype-man I've ever met."

Kaho then giggled, "At least he's dedicated at something."

Virgil and Kaho smiled at each other, and they both blushed. Kaho brushed her hair behind her ear and smiled at Virgil. Virgil cleared his throat, as they looked at each other.

Arthur turned back to see Kaho and Virgil looking at each other before narrowing his eyes at the two. The Limiter then smiled.

"I'll head to the lunchroom and grab us a table, you guys don't keep me waiting too long." Arthur laughed, turning to leave.

Virgil and Kaho waved as Arthur left.

Virgil turned to focus on Kaho again, and he nodded, "So. About yesterday…"

"I left me hanging, honestly." Kaho started, and Virgil showed the guilt in his face. Kaho blinked at this, and then she waved her hands, "But that's alright. I understand. You were just scared and couldn't really help with the fight anyways."

Virgil heard this and cringed. Kaho thought he was useless. Well to be fair, a Limiter without a Pandora has no powers and uses to help stop Nova. So she was kinda right. But she didn't know that he was Static. He'd saved her life several times last night.

Kaho shook her head, as she continued, "You should have seen it thought! That vigilante, the one with the lightning! He was there too! He actually grabbed onto me to save my life. It was kinda weird."

Virgil narrowed his eyes at her, and Kaho shrugged.

"It's true. I don't like random guys just grabbing onto me. That's normal, right?" Kaho said, then she shook her head and continued, "Anyways. He helped Elizabeth and President Chiffon stop that crazy Nova lady. What was his name again? I can't remember it."

Virgil was about to say it, when he heard behind him, "Virgil?"

Virgil and Kaho looked behind them, and they saw Satellizer walking towards them. The hallway made a path allowing the Untouchable Queen to pass through easily. Satellizer stopped in front of the two, and Virgil lowered his head in shame.

Kaho blinked and said, "Umm…hey. Good to…see you again."

Satellizer ignored Kaho, giving Virgil a small wave.

"Do you mind if we talk, Virgil Hawkins?" Satellizer said, not really asking it as a question. Virgil gulped and nodded.

"I knew this would happen eventually." Virgil said aloud, and he nodded to Kaho, "I'll see you later, probably."

"Probably? Where are you going?" Kaho said, but Virgil and Satellizer already began walking away towards the stairs.

Kaho was left in silence, not sure what just happened. She was stuck looking at the back of Satellizer L. Bridget and Virgil Hawkins, as the two walked away from each other.

Virgil and Satellizer stood on the roof of the school building, standing near the railing. Virgil glanced at Satellizer, who was looking outward towards the city near the school.

Satellizer glanced at Virgil, who quickly turned back and looked at the city.

"So…" Satellizer said, with a hint of nervousness slipping out.

"Thanks for last night." Virgil said. Satellizer glanced at him and she nodded.

"No problem. I should be thanking you. You watched my back as well. And you leapt through a wormhole to save me. I don't think I could return that favor for you." Satellizer said.

Virgil then quickly said, "You could keep my identity a secret."

Satellizer turned to Virgil and looked at him like he were an idiot. Virgil blushed and looked away.

Satellizer nodded, "I wasn't going to tell anyone your identity. I assumed that ridiculous getup was your superhero costume." Satellizer made quotations with her fingers when she said 'superhero'. This caused Virgil to narrow his eyes at her. Satellizer, however, continued.

"I'm surprised the others didn't catch on. It was pretty obvious." Satellizer said, with a little giggle slipping out.

Virgil caught this, and he chuckled a bit too. Virgil then said, "Yeah. I thought I was dead when I had to talk to Ganessa Roland. She didn't even recognize me. We eat lunch together every week, and she can't even recognize my voice."

Satellizer began to giggle louder now, as Virgil continued, "And Chiffon. I swear she was going to rip that mask right off myface. I'm surprised she listened to you!"

Virgil kept laughing, when he realized that Satellizer giggled again, before clearing her throat to hide the giggle. Virgil smiled at her, and tilted his head slightly. Satellizer wiped a tear from her eye, and she glanced at Virgil.

"You're not as scary as people say you are, Satellizer L. Bridget." Virgil said while rolling his shoulder. Satellizer looked away from Virgil, looking at the view again, finding a sense of peace where she was at the moment.

Satellizer cleared her throat once again, regaining her composure. She looked at Virgil and she nodded, "Let's get down to business, Virgil." She waved her hand over to a bag of hamburgers that she got from the Burger Queen from the cafeteria.

"I wanted to buy you some lunch to repay you for helping me." Satellizer said. She glanced at Virgil and nodded, "Why don't you enough a burger with me, Virgil Hawkins? And you can tell me about your adventures as Static Shock."

Virgil blinked in shock and then he nodded with a small smile.

"Sure thing."
