This story and a few others were on AO3 for quite some time but somehow I forgot to post them on . So here you go guys...

With the revelation that Pierce was the Sinnerman, poor ole Dan was having a panic attack – the man clearly not handling knowing that Charlotte's murderer was now in charge of the very investigation into her death.

After going to Lux to discuss the matter at hand, Lucifer told Chloe to get the distraught man some martinis – he definitely needed them, and maybe the alcohol would pull him together. But just as Lucifer was wondering where Miss Lopez was – he had invited her to join them under the guise of mourning for Charlotte and had yet to arrive.

Though surprisingly, Lucifer felt someone approach the back door, the one that was used for his Celestial-esqe needs, like when his wings wouldn't hide away, and he needed to get inside the penthouse unnoticed. The fact that nobody but him and Maze knew it existed was confusing, and whoever it was wasn't Maze, judging by the fact that he could sense three, maybe four souls approaching the enchanted and magically hidden dor. Stepping into the hidden side elevator, he made his way down to the bottom level and walked the short distance to the steel sliding doors. But upon opening, he was treated to the sight of the rather unforgettable face of John Constantine.

Ella Lopez had been making her way to Lux, intending on meeting up with Chloe, Lucifer, and Dan – the latter especially was not handling Charlotte's death well, and she knew that being there to support him was the best she could do until the rest of the forensics team got back from the crime scene. Though just as the entrance to Lux came in sight, she saw something in her peripheral vision, and hid behind a stack of crates, her muscle memory from her time as a carjack coming into play.

Before her eyes, a swirling mass of blue, a portal straight out of sci-fi formed, and from it three figures appeared, two men and a young girl, one military, the second one a blond male, difficult to read and the last maybe seventeen-ish. The three figures made their way down a narrow back alley that surprisingly led to a back entrance for Lux of all places. Sneaking behind them, she could overhear their conversation.

"So why are we taking a detour to another parallel Earth?" asked the tall military man.

"With so many Earths already gone the pillars of magic are crumbling, leaving me worse for worse, or in simple terms, I can't get us into purgatory. But don't worry Squire, luckily, I know a guy" said the blond man wearing a beige trench coat, knocking upon the solid steel door she could see ahead. But what did he mean by many Earth's and magic, and why would someone want to get into purgatory?

A few minutes later, the steel door slid open to reveal Lucifer, a confused expression on his face that lit up upon seeing the blond, who apparently knew him.

"Always a pleasure to see you, Luci. It's time."

Lucifer's response was just as confusing as the blond man's statement.

"Johnny! I'd like to say it's a pleasure to see you on my Earth outside my club, though it's not." Looking to the other two present, Lucifer zeroed in on the blond girl, and spoke, using that voice that made Ella feel special knowing such a skilled method actor.

"Hello there. I don't believe we've met. Lucifer Morningstar."

"Lucifer Morningstar. As in…"

"The Devil, yes. Exactly. So tell me, what is it you desire?"

The blond girl's voice stuttered, appearing to be in that weird trance that happened when Lucifer could make a person say anything, and her response was just like the many she had heard before, unapologetically true.

"I…I desire to get my father back."

"Ohhh, daddy issues. Why didn't you say so…"

"Look, I don't know if you have an Oliver Queen on your world but ours is…shuffled off this mortal coil."

Oliver Queen. Wasn't that the round-bellied owner and CEO of Queen Consolidate, the mega corporation that owned several tech and transport firms. But as far as she was aware, he had just celebrated his thirtieth birthday, even if the potbelly and drunk hair look he sported made him appear approaching sixty. And what did he mean by your world?

"A soul retrieval, blah blah blah, the worlds are ending, it's all very biblical John. Ok, fine. I'm doing this because I owe you for helping Maze that one time."

"Yes, you do."

Looking to the military man Lucifer commented about him.

"Hmm…you remind me of my brother by the way. Tall, dark, annoyed by me."

"You're going to help us or not?"

"Flirt" snickered Lucifer. "The Devil always sees though on a deal. Take this card. You'll have a limited time once inside purgatory, and once the picture completely fades…"

"Our souls will be decimated blah blah blah."

"And trapped for eternity forever so I don't recommend it. Consider us even John Constantine."

"Constantine."

"Is it. I don't care. Though, but do succeed – the world cannot end until I have penetrated the detective more times than she had me. And it's always a pleasure doing business with mortals. And now if you'll excuse me, I've got a murderer to send to hell." Saying this, the sliding door closed, leaving the three alone on the empty street, alongside a still hidden Ella who was watching the scene with fascination.

"He forgot to tell us what to do." sighed a disappointed Mia Queen.

"Did he now?" Saying this, John Constantine held the card with the Devil playing the piano forward, and the picture within caught fire, and in a flash of red light the three individuals from another dimension were enveloped in a crimson ball of flames and disappeared, leaving behind a shocked Ella Lopez who couldn't believe what she had just witnessed.

Just a few seconds later, the back door opened once again, and Lucifer walked out, whistling to himself, and casually saying, "Miss Lopez, I know you're there".

Crawling out from behind the stacked crates, Ella appeared, embarrassed at being caught.

"How did you…"

"You're the only one who wears lavender scented perfume to work, even though you're not supposed to, though I can never fault rule breaking every now and then or else the Detective's spawn would be considered a wanted criminal."

"So you're the actual…"

"Devil. Yes."

"And those people…"

"Were from a parallel dimension, where a man from their Earth died and they needed a means to get him back from the afterlife."

"Wow. And when did Chloe penetrate you, because I clearly remember her telling Dan that she had never, ever, slept with you?"

"She definitely slept with me, even if the closest we were in bed was when she stole my blanket, and yes, the penetration was less about strap-on's and more about bullets. In the calf."

"Oh. Cool."

"Really. Just cool. What is it with mortals these days?"

Ella giggled in response.
