Blackest Blood

There once was a witch of Blackest Blood.
She held, within, a manic muse,
And scorned those born of maliced mud!

A lucid thought would barely bud
Before it dies by Chaos' coups!
There once was a witch of Blackest Blood…

Her cheeks become a rosy rud
When she, as ecstasy ensues,
Begins to pour out maliced mud!

Her victims, with a tortured thud,
She their body slays and strews!
There once was a witch of Blackest Blood.

For her Lord, she'd fully flood
All the land in hemal hues,
And scorn those born of maliced mud!

She's the crown's most savored stud;
Amongst the thorns, a Risen Rose!
There once was a witch of Blackest Blood;
Who scorned those born of maliced mud!

A/N:

Hope you enjoyed. To give a bit of contextualization, a villanelle (the poetic form used here) is generally meant to convey obsession. I found that fitting when trying to represent Bellatrix. However, I've also mutated the form to make it somewhat unique. A villanelle typically repeats lines 1 and 3 at the end of each stanza in alternation; since I view Bellatrix's insanity as a key characteristic of her personality, I decided to tweak the repetitive mantra as a way of informing the reader of her own mental instability.
