I never created Superman TAS.
Supergirl began to frown as soon as Reverend Amos Howell glanced at groups in Metropolis. More than a handful of women smiled near a jewelry store. There were four people within a restaurant and near its window. She viewed his smile. Sudden worry formed in her eyes. She bit her lip.
Supergirl remembered Amos gathering groups of people when Unity became one with them in Smallville. It was before the alien suddenly abandoned his preacher. She never imagined Amos locating a form of unity near Martha and Jonathan Kent's farm. Viewing her family as unity.
Was Amos going to act like a kind man of the cloth again? Preaching about Unity in a polite tone and a Southern accent? Perhaps he suddenly forgot that Unity wasn't with him any longer. Supergirl remembered Amos sometimes yearning to be with his master again. Even when she reminded him that the alien was abusive. Demanding. Controlling the man.
Supergirl turned to a barren shop. She gently took Amos by his sleeve and approached the store. After she opened the door, she took him into the building. There was just a cashier.
''How are you?''
Amos frowned and blinked. ''Hmm? I'm fine,'' he muttered. That was when he remembered his smile by crowds. Amos continued to frown.
''Right. Unity.''
''Let's go to a small restaurant where there won't be so many people,'' Supergirl said.
Amos gave a quick nod. He followed Supergirl to a restaurant. He stepped inside and approached a table with her. His eyes flew open the minute crowds entered the restaurant.
Supergirl and Amos exchanged glances.
''Should we order our food to go?'' Supergirl asked.
Amos nodded again.
