A/N: Thank you for the love you showed to the first chapter! I appreciate it so much and it really motivated me to get this second chapter written. This one is a little shorter than the first, but Elsa is going to be born in the next one and so I promise it will be longer. Happy reading!

Nestled comfortably in her husband's arms, the two of them still having yet to rise, Iduna smiled as his hand smoothed light circles onto her stomach through her nightgown. When he stopped for a moment, the baby inside her pushed back against his palm with a tiny hand or foot and she tilted her head back on his shoulder to see him smiling like a fool. It was obvious that he already adored their little one. Every chance he got, he would place his hands on her stomach to feel its movements, even if it was only for a moment when she came to him in his study to speak with him about something. For her to say that he was excited would be an understatement, it really would. For the past few weeks, their baby was all he had talked about.

"Do you think anyone would notice our absence, were we to hide away in here until this little one makes its big entrance?" He asked her in a soft voice, their child settling beneath his hand as he went on smoothing tender circles onto her stomach.

"Considering you have that big unveiling to do this afternoon, I think they might, my love." She laughed.

"I could always fail to attend," He shrugged. "For all they know, I could have been struck down with a devastating illness."

"And when you reveal our little prince or princess to the public in a couple of days' time, the picture of health?" She inquired.

He chuckled. "A miracle."

"You cannot put your life or your duties on hold simply because you're impatient," She shook her head, snuggling closer to his chest and taking hold of the front of his nightshirt when he tightened the arm around her waist. "Besides, you wouldn't find spending all your time up here with me all that entertaining because all I seem to be doing at the moment is sleeping."

"I'll have you know that I find watching you sleep quite a pleasant pastime," He smiled. "I love your little nose twitches."

She rolled her eyes good-naturedly at him, giving his chest a swat. "Agnarr, honestly."

"No, it pleases me to see you resting. Neither of us will be getting too much of it once this little one is here." He said.

"You don't mind that I decided against a nanny, do you?" She asked him. "We didn't do things that way back home, is all."

He shook his head, running the back of his palm down her cheek. "I don't mind. Whatever makes you happy."

"You make me happy," She whispered, stretching up to brush two soft kisses against his lips. "I love you."

"And I love you. You and this little one," He gave her bump a pat before chuckling at the sound of her stomach grumbling. "You stay here. Get a little more sleep. I'll head downstairs and see if I can't convince Cook to make your favourite today."

She grinned. "See, this is why I married you."

"Because I let you have scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast?" He teased, kissing her temple before climbing out of bed.

"Precisely," She traced the curve of her bump through the quilt. "I, along with this little one and my stomach, thank you."

"You are strange, you know that?" He shook his head as he began to unbutton the front of his shirt.

She nodded, giggling. "I know. You love that about me though, so it honestly doesn't worry me all that much."

"That I do, my darling," He smiled. "That I do…"
