Gill hated waiting in this junk pile, it smelled weird and the water wasn't fresh enough now. At first it seemed as though it was the cleanest water ever, but actually it was horribly dirty now that Gill returned to his SeaWing senses.

Gill's heart ached, he wanted to be out there soaring besides Coral. Coral, oh my dearest Coral I miss you too. Don't worry, I'll find you. I'll make sure we see each other again.

He wanted to believe the thought that he could return to his dearest mate's sides, but the truth was far different. He was stuck. With his wings clamped, his stomach growling in protest, and worst of all with no absolute plan.

No way to actually survive, he was pretty sure he'd die off in a few more weeks if he stayed starving. But Gill couldn't hunt with his wings clamped, he couldn't do anything with his wings clamped. He was totally useless in this state.

Gill walked towards a shredded corpse of a SeaWing, it had deep claw marks along her belly and her waist was horribly twisted. Her head however was hanging in the wrong position. Yuck, it's a good thing I didn't end up like THAT. Ewwww.

It's a good thing my opponent only knocked me into something hard. I think it was a wall. I think so. And speaking of that young dragonet, she looks awfully like Coral. She's the same shade of blue and they have the same looks. I wonder if they're related?

No, that won't be possible. Coral's sisters daughters were not even remotely the same shade as Coral. Plus I would have noticed one of their dragonets like that.

And, she didn't fight like a SeaWing. More like a tumble of claw slashes and tail swats.

STOP THINKING ABOUT HER GILL, YOU NEED TO FOCUS ON PLANNING AN ESCAPE!

Gill honestly had no actual idea on how to escape, he thought.

He was thinking so hard he didn't see the boulder crashing down on him.

When Gill saw it, he immediately dove into the river. Clear water flowed into his gills and Gill started swimming towards the other side of the river. But his wings clamp suddenly felt heavier than ever.

The SeaWing king started to drown downwards, No.

Gill growls when he can't swim upward, a boulder lands heavily on his side pushing him downwards. Sharp pain stabbed Gill, but he didn't have time to think about that.

As his vision started to blur, Gill saw a slim brown shape dive into the river and drag him out.

Gill looked weakly upwards and saw four brown -talons, "Help." He croaked and then everything was black.
