Magica De Spell has succeeded, using Lena's body she was able to take Scrooge's Number One Dime which had her physical body trapped in side at the moment of the lunar eclipse, thus freeing her body and reuniting it with her being. Now she has her staff aimed at Scrooge in point blank range. Scrooge could only stare at his greatest and most dangerous enemy in disgust.

Scrooge: Magica De Spell. You black-hearted wretch of the foulest lineage! Impossible…how!?

Magica: Why don't you ask your housekeeper's granddaughter's new best friend? You have a confusing family structure, you know that?

Lena: Lena walks up next to Scrooge glaring hatefully at her possessor. You got your stupid body back, now leave us alone!

Scrooge: Yes, scram you rapacious ogress!

They recoil when Magica's staff glows and in the blink of an eye she's behind them floating in the air.

Magica: Ohhhh! But I just got here!

Magica unleashes a blast of energy that circles around both of them and forms a cage of energy. Scrooge pulls on the bars in anger growling and glaring hatefully at Magica.

At the same time Beakely makes her move and Launchpad pushes the last of the bounce house in another room before returning to the table. She hands them a plate of real food.

Beakely: Apple short bread pie with a scoop of Sea-salt ice cream. Donald and the boys are delighted to finally have some real food this time. A common farewell desert in certain parts.

Dewey: Finally, some real food!

Beakely: Beakely retracts the desert. Oh, I'm so sorry. This was Scrooge's favourite desert. I don't want to remind you of that horrid man you lost your mother to all those years ago. She turns back. Even if it was an accident that tore him up for 10 years, propelling him into a desperate search attempt that left him broken and nearly bankrupt.

Louie: This catches their attention. Wait, bankrupt, really?

Daisy: Yes, Louie. We tried telling you before. Scrooge was so torn up and guilty over Della's disappearance that he spent billions of gold and dollars to hire of a team of astronauts and send them to space in order to find her.

Donald: Donald gruffly crosses his arms, unable to believe that. And then he called off the search simply because it put a dent in his money bin and made him lose some of his fortune.

Dewey: Yeah. It's as simple as that.

Beakely: Beakely gives an angry shout. You're both WRONG!

Donald and Dewey recoil in fear at the raise in her voice and the stern expression both she and Daisy are giving.

Daisy: That wasn't the case you guys. It's true that the search expenses put a large dent in his bin. He lost so much money that sooner or later Flintheart Glomgold would've become the new Richest Duck in the World.

Beakely: But do you four want to know what he did, he kept going, he kept sending hundreds of more ships to search for Della. He told me that he doesn't care if he's bankrupt or if he becomes the Second Richest Duck in the World or if he becomes a poor man again altogether, he just wanted his niece back… She then looks to Donald with lowered eyebrows. …And he just wants his nephew to be happy again.

Donald: He really said that?

Daisy: Of course he did Donald. Scrooge felt so guilty over building the Spear of Selene and for not heeding your warning. He loved you Donald and he truly wished he had listened to you.

Beakely: And that further motivated him to try his very best to make things right. He had taken you ever since you were the boys' age and over those years Scrooge realized you were more than just his nephew Donald…you were his son. He told me that himself.

Donald almost chokes on his own breath to hear that. He never thought for one minute in his life that Scrooge saw him as his son mainly because of the embarrassing stunts he made him go through during the first few years of their adventures. He always felt the connection Della had with Scrooge was so big Scrooge saw her as his own daughter. He never felt as big a connection with his uncle, so to hear this was mind blowing and it made him feel guilt well up in his heart.

Donald: Uncle Scrooge…really saw me as his own son?

Beakely: Yes, he did.

Donald: I…I never knew that.

Daisy: Daisy edges a little closer to his boyfriend. That's because you spent most of your life believing that you didn't have as big a connection with Scrooge like Della did even though Uncle Scrooge made it clear that he loved the both of you equally.

Beakely: It may have seemed like Scrooge was harder than you than he was on Della at times but that was his way of helping you Donald, he understood how angry you always were at the world so he wanted help keep you tougher than the toughies so that when the world fights you, you'll always be able to fight back no matter how hopeless it seemed.

Daisy: Daisy warmly smiles at her boyfriend as Webby and Launchpad look on in anticipation. And look at what he's done for you Donald. You struggled for 10 years emotionally and physically but despite all that you still raised Huey, Dewey and Louie as though they were your own sons. No one in this world, not even Della could do a better a job of protecting the boys than you Donald. And don't you owe it to your uncle's teachings and the memory of your sister for keeping you going despite all those hard times?

Donald looks down contemplating their words. After the events of Ithaquack there were still times Scrooge was harder on Donald than he was on Della but at that time his uncle and sister showed care for his well-being and the Mage of Thunder always felt stronger and tougher every time he got back up. Could he have been able to raise the boys on his own had it not been for Scrooge's teachings, could he have even been motivated enough without the memory of his sister encouraging him? He was taken out of these thoughts by his confused nephews.

Huey: If Scrooge really did care for Mom and Uncle Donald so much that he'd be willing to go bankrupt then why'd he stop searching?

Beakely: He never stopped. His search project was shutdown…by his selfish, penny-pinching board of directors. This makes Donald, Huey, Dewey and Louie widen their eyes in shock as Beakely's eyes become sad. They didn't like how much money the company was losing and how much they were losing as result so they pulled the plug and literally dragged your uncle away from his search. Had it not been for the board, Scrooge would've kept searching until he could afford it no longer.

Donald, Huey, Dewey and Louie are shocked. They always thought Scrooge to be a cheap old man and that he'd never spend billions of dollars for anything but adventure. To hear that he was willing to lose all his money for the sake of his family touched their hearts so much Donald, Huey and Louie look down in regret as they contemplate their decision. Dewey lowers his eyebrows considering Beakely and Daisy's words but he stubbornly clings to his beliefs and just crosses his arms.

Dewey: That's very touching and all you two and maybe Scrooge isn't cheap as we thought him to be but it still doesn't change the fact that he built the Spear of Selene.

Louie: Huey and Louie lift their heads up in agreement. And it certainly doesn't change that we knew nothing about our Mom because Uncle Donald decided to lie to us and keep her existence secret for our whole lives.

Donald looks at his boys apologetically while also begging for their forgiveness though they just meet his gaze with angry expressions but Daisy comes to his defence.

Daisy: Maybe Donald didn't tell you sooner because he didn't want to traumatize you with it.

Huey: More like because he didn't want to traumatize himself again.

Beakely: That is part true. Beakely sternly looks to Donald and who looks down in shame. While I'm sure Donald wanted to avoid traumatizing you I'm also sure he was mainly sparing himself from having to go through revealing the truth even though you boys had the right to know. Donald sighs deeply at those words. But can you truly blame him for that. Della's fate was probably too hard for him to handle that he couldn't bring himself to talk about it. Perhaps it would be safe for you three to assume the reason Donald lied to you was because the loss of Della was the hardest and most heartbreaking thing he'd ever faced! Harder than any injuries he sustained on any adventure! The boys, even Dewey listen to Beakely's words and they're letting them sink in as they look down with sorrowfully lowered eyebrows. It's not that he cared about himself, it's that he didn't have the heart to talk about the loss of the sister who made up half of who he is. How would you boys feel if either of you lost each other?

This causes the boys to look up in surprise before looking to each other in sadness, having not thought of that before. The three of them were as close as any triplets and brothers could be, if one of them were to either die or disappear could they have lost each other then it's likely either one of them would be so devastated they wouldn't know how to talk about each other. They then look to Donald who's sad and begging expression is confirming what Beakely and Daisy are saying is true, thus they look down in guilt and regret over their recent words of hatred and mistrust towards him. Daisy notices and gives a pleading and compassionate expression.

Daisy: Exactly, which is why you should still trust and at least try to forgive him because he loved you guys so much and couldn't bear to lose you like he lost Della in such a horrible way. Although Donald did lie to you, he did it because he loved you boys. He would've told you when you were old enough to handle it all. He truly does care about the three of you.

Beakely: If he didn't he probably never would've taken you in all those years ago. But he did because he loves you, for each of you carry a part of Della within you.

Daisy: Donald does care about you guys, just like he does for all of us.

Webby and Launchpad smile at the boys as they see that the plan is working. The boys look down contemplating on giving their uncle who raised them as his sons a second chance. But now comes the hardest part…getting them to forgive Scrooge.

Beakely: As for Scrooge, he probably felt to overwhelmed by someone who was like a daughter to him, go missing that it was too much for him to bear, on top of losing his youngest sister and her husband already, all of it becoming worse after the one who he saw as his son left behind to grieve on his own.

Daisy: Exactly. Scrooge loved you guys so much, especially Donald in the 10 years he raised you. While I admit that they should've been honest with you sooner, they just didn't want to lose you the same way they lost your Mom.

Beakely: But I understand you're upset because you lost one family member which was terrible and painful. It was at this moment Donald, Dewey, Huey and Louie figure out what this "farewell meal" was truly all about but continue listening. So you decided you should go ahead and lose another. She glares at them admonishingly. Brilliant, makes perfect rational sense.

Huey contemplates it but Dewey elbows him not to be fooled before proudly smirking at the housekeeper.

Dewey: Yeah, nailed it Mrs B.

Beakely: Yes, distance yourself even further from his life and forsake family all together. That will definitely fix it.

Launchpad: Launchpad bangs the table in disagreement. No! It'll do the opposite of that!

Beakely: Beakely then turns to Donald. And then there's you Donald. I understand that you were upset because you lost your twin sister. A sister whom you shared so many wonderful memories with, since you were children you and Della have always been inseparable, until you met Daisy she was the only person who understood you no matter how unintelligible your voice sounded. You loved your twin so much that when she disappeared you lost a part of yourself, or rather…you lost half of yourself. Donald looks down in sadness, unable to deny that this is true after his conversation with Daisy. So then you felt you should isolate yourself and the boys from your uncle because you felt Scrooge didn't care about Della as much as you did which is why you threw him out of your life. Yes, Scrooge built the rocket and maybe if he hadn't then Della wouldn't have been lost. But at the end of the day we all make costly mistake. Scrooge made the mistake of building the Spear of Selene. Della made the mistake of stealing the Spear early and choosing adventure over family. But you Donald…made the most terrible mistake by abandoning your uncle when he needed your support. Donald begins to look down feeling guilty.

Donald: It felt right at the time.

Daisy: Daisy gives Donald and admonishing stare. No, it wasn't Donald, you're wrong!

Webby: It doesn't sound right to me Uncle Donald. Sure gifting a rocket to a mother of three was a terrible idea but didn't you stop to think Scrooge was suffering as well when Della disappeared.

Daisy: Exactly. When you lost your twin sister Donald, Scrooge lost his favourite niece. He loved you Donald, you became his son over the 64 years he spent with you and Della. Did it ever occur to you that he needed the support of his favourite nephew to help him bear through the pain and loss he felt? Instead you made him feel worse by blaming him for everything and abandoning him when he needed you, thus turning him into an old miser.

Donald looks down in a combination of pain, guilt, sadness and shame over his actions; when he lost his sister he was so furious at the world, furious at Della, furious at Scrooge, furious at pretty much everyone around him. He was so enraged he never really thought about how his uncle felt at all and now he's regretting no ever thinking about Scrooge's feelings.

Beakely: Perhaps its worth for the 4 of you to consider that the reason Scrooge closed himself off was because the loss of Della and Donald's abandonment was the hardest thing he'd ever faced, harder than any adventure. Now Louie begins to let Beakely's words sink in too. It's not that he didn't care; it's that he cared about family more than anything in the world…and perhaps he still does. …But, I'm just the housekeeper, what do I know?

She puts the plate down and Launchpad puts a hand on hers and Daisy's shoulder.

Launchpad: A lot! These ladies know a lot!

Back in the manor, Magica floats in the air and her eyes glow purple as she absorbs the power of the eclipse. Lena sits on the floor hugging her knees and Scrooge's attempts to escape from the cage are all in vain. He turns his anger towards the person who stole his dime angrily pointing his finger.

Scrooge: You, wee tenebrous traitor! We welcomed you into our home, only to have you unleash this repugnant beast-monger!

Lena: She's my aunt! She made me do it!

Scrooge: Scrooge is still mad but this time it's not at Lena or even Magica. Mmm! Family! Good for nothing! Left me completely vulnerable to this!

Lena: Lena scoffs at Scrooge for his stubbornness. Please! Magica only got in here 'cause you threw your family out. She turns to Magica in sadness and hatred. My family's good for nothing. She shoots a smile at Scrooge. Your family is amazing! You fight and get into trouble, but it doesn't matter, because you… He turns away with his arms crossed. I don't know…love each other or something. Dude, I wish I had your family.

Realizing how selfish he's been in throwing out his family and how much they truly mean to him Scrooge finally comes to his senses. He turns back in compassion.

Scrooge: You're right, lass. He places his hands on his hips. Help me get my family back, and you'll have a place in it. Lena smiles to see she made a difference. We're all stronger together. He holds out his hand. Ready?

Lena: Lena takes it and is helped up. I'll see what I can do.

Scrooge: Scrooge makes a couple of motions with his spirit reinvigorated. Come on, you Mephistophelian Medusa, let's-! Oh! Unfortunately his comeback is ruined when he sees Magica right in front of him, having heard the whole thing.

Magica: Sorry, I was just watching you rally for a triumphant comeback. So sad, so futile, now where was I? Oh, yes. Revenge!

She snaps her finger and the cage shatters, causing them to scream. Lena's eyes become black and she feels herself getting pulled into a black pool on the floor.

Lena: No! Not again! Don't send me back!

Scrooge: Lena! Scrooge quickly grabs his hand and tries to pull the frightened teen out of the pull with all his might.

Lena: SCROOGE! HELP! I-I DON'T WANNA GO LIKE THIS! I DON'T WANNA GO BACK!

Scrooge: Scrooge pulls with all his strength. You won't go back lass! I promised you a place in our family and I'm keeping! Fight it Lena! Fight it for Louie and Webby!

Lena smiles gratefully and is slowly finding the strength to pull herself out of the pool but Magica has other plans.

Magica: Lena...no matter how hard you try, you will never escape...for I'm part of you and you're part of me!

She snaps her fingers and Lena begins screaming in pain as ooze snags onto her head pulls her down into the pool while pushing Scrooge off. Lena screams and Scrooge jumps to grab her only to be too late.

Scrooge: NOOO!

Lena: Lena is turned back into a shadow and is pulled in. NOOOOOO!

Scrooge: Scrooge is horrified by what he just witnessed. Bless me bagpipes! He raises his fist in anger. Curse you, De Spell!

Magica: No, no, Scrooge. Curse YOU! Magica aims the dime at Scrooge and calls upon a vortex that's sucking him in. Scrooge struggles are in vain and he screams as he's sucked into the dime. Hmm. Not the most inspiring final words.

Magica flips it into the air and in a sick twist of irony Scrooge is now trapped in his own dime; his horrified face now on the coin.

Meanwhile, Beakely raises her melted Popsicle drink for a final toast to this "farewell meal".

Beakely: Now let's toast to a fine farewell meal, topped with a dash of perspective. She sips in her drink.

Huey and Louie looks like they're coming to their senses but Dewey refuses to give in and throws his hands around in outrage.

Dewey: So, this whole thing was to guilt us into going back to the mansion? Well, it's not gonna work. Everyone is getting vexed with Dewey's stubbornness. Sorry, but it's too late. He puts his hands on his brothers. We're going to Cape Suzette with our real family, and that's that, right Uncle Donald?

Donald is once again looking at the pictures he has of Della and then the picture they both took with Scrooge and the boys as eggs. He contemplates on everything that has happened and everything he's done. For years he's been blaming Scrooge for what happened to their family and to Della. But after listening to Daisy and Beakely he finally realizes that Scrooge loved his family more than anything in the world, just as much as Donald does. Remembering his father-son relationship with Scrooge, realizing he made the worst mistake ever by abandoning his uncle when he needed the support of his favourite nephew and throwing away the adventures he shared with him and Della, Donald let's a couple of tears drop onto the pictures.

Donald: What have I done…?

The boys look to him for a response and Donald puts the pictures back in his pocket.

Donald: No. He gets up and addresses his nephews. Mrs B and Daisy are right. Uncle Scrooge needs us, and we need him. Our family has been apart too long. And I've done enough damage to last for a lifetime.

Louie starts to cry and lets all the words of wisdom, emotion and compassion that have been said to fully sink in. Donald's eyes well up with tears of regret.

Donald: I understand that you can't fully trust me boys. For 10 years I've been lying to you and I did it because I was sparing myself from telling the truth. For that I'm truly sorry…Huey, Dewey, Louie. Whether you were old enough or not the three of you had a right to know what happened to Della…to your mother. But now…It's time for us to come together. Come here boys. He bends down with a smile and opens his arms for a hug as the tears drop down his face.

Huey and Louie having come to their senses are crying and go to Donald much to Dewey's shock and confusion.

Dewey: Wait, wait, wait. But…but the spear, and Mom, and…and…!

Huey and Louie both give Donald a much needed big hug. Daisy, Webby, Beakely and Launchpad watch with touched expressions (Launchpad gets up from his seat and Daisy watches with her hands clutched together while crying). Dewey wants to continue being mad at Scrooge but he begins to have a change of heart after letting Daisy and Beakely's words sink in and seeing Donald nod at him to give Scrooge the chance he deserves while also begging for his own second chance. Dewey wells up with tears and forces on a smile, running over to Donald and joining in the hug with tears streaming down his face. Huey, Dewey and Louie have their arms wrapped around Donald in a father-sons hug.

Donald then looks to Daisy and holds his hand out for her to join in to which she happily obliges. She takes the hand and Donald pulls her in, Daisy is bent down hugging Donald and the triplets while crying tears of joy with them.

The five of them are in a complete family hug letting out all their emotions as much as they possibly could. The rest watch with satisfied expressions and Launchpad holds up his hand to Webby.

Launchpad: Family…

Webby: Trapped! They have a high-five.

Dewey: Dewey speaks through his tears of emotion. Let's go back to the mansion!

Everyone yelps when they hear a massive explosion outside that completely ruins the family moment.

They go out to the deck and watch a pillar of purple energy explode from the mansion. When they get to the edge a horrible cackling laugh that Donald hasn't heard for 15 years, causing him to widen his eyes in shock.

Donald: That voice!? It-it can't be!

His fears were confirmed when he recognises the dark figure coming out. Magica De Spell floats inside the purple pillar and her cackle turns into a maniacal laugh. She becomes engulfed in purple flames as Donald and the others watch in horror. Donald's face becomes pale at the sight of his dark mage rival.

Donald: Aww, phooey…!

This...is the beginning...of the Shadow War.
