Never Again Ch. 6

Tears streamed down her face, listening to the preacher give her mother a blessing as she was lowered into the ground. While they weren't close, she was still her mother. Audrey was just grateful that her mother was no longer suffering with the effects of dealing with cancer. Wiping her face for probably the 100th time, she grabbed Cassie's hand, knowing that for her, this was extremely painful.

It didn't take long for the service to come to an end, and Cassie didn't want to have this big deal, just family. They walked towards the parking lot, hand in hand, it was a quiet moment between the two girls.

"Brat." Cassie teased. Trying to find some joy in such a somber day.

Audrey looked over at her sister, "Priss." Wrapping her arms around her, they held onto each other.

Stepping back, Cassie looked over the parking lot and found one of the SONs sitting on his bike, waiting, while she wasn't the biggest fan of her sister dating one of them, she knew that if anyone was made for that life, it would be her baby sister. "You know, he could have come to the service, if you wanted."

Not able to keep the smile off her face, "I know, thank you Cass, but I know how you feel, and unless that man asks me to marry him, I'm not going to annoy you yet." Bumping her shoulders.

Cassie shook her head, "I love you, always with the loopholes." Taking a deep breath, "Alright, let's meet him." Enjoying the look of surprise on her face, she made a beeline towards him.

It took Audrey a second to realize her sister was heading straight to Herman, getting her ass in gear, she caught up with her, but the look on his face, she almost wanted to laugh, could he be scared of her sister?

Stopping in front of her man, "Hey baby," leaning into his arms for a kiss, "Herman Kozik, this is my big sister Cassandra, Cass, this is Herman Kozik, but prefers Kozik."

Shaking the shock off, he stood up and extended his hand, "Pleasure to officially meet you." Giving her a smile.

Sizing him up, Cassandra took his hand, "You too." Stepping into his space, "You hurt my sister, I don't care if you're some badass biker, I'll set you on fire." Enjoying watching him blink, "You treat her right, you have no problems from me."

He couldn't help but laugh, "I will do my best to treat her as she deserves." While he wasn't afraid, he could respect the fact that both the girls, would bring great violence on a person that hurt their little family.

Giving her sister another hug, "I'm going to head home, I love you, Brat." Turning her eyes to the man that obviously loved her sister, "It was nice to officially meet you too, Kozik." Spinning on her heels, she found her husband opening the car door, in some ways she was grateful that Audrey found someone, she needed a strong man.

Pulling her into his arms, "I can see it's a family trait to threaten bikers." He teased.

Looking up at him, "We don't have too much in common, but family protects family." Taking the helmet that he bought her, "Take me somewhere, clubhouse, diner, I don't fucking care."

Swinging his legs over the bike, he waited until she was settled, and zipped off towards the lot, while he wanted to take her home, the shit with Zobelle was starting to come to a head, and he wanted her protected.

Audrey enjoyed the feeling of the sun and wind dancing across her skin, and seeing the lot, it was nice to find her place here, while the occasional croweater would step to her, her reputation for quick and brutal violence kept 99% of that shit at bay. Waiting for him to park his bike, she jumped off, placing her helmet on the back seat, "Do you mind if I go chill with Gemma?" she asked.

Pulling her close to his body, "That's fine pretty girl." His eyes stared into hers, "I know you know what's really going on with her, and I'm sure she's told you not to say shit." He could see that she wasn't comfortable with this, but he needed her to know, "Whatever it is, do your best to convince her to talk to Clay. He's worried about her."

Looking up at him, "I know, and I have been trying. But you know you can force Gemma to say anything." Kissing him, "Thank you for not pushing me." Never in her life more grateful that he on some level understood something was going on but wasn't trying to force it out of her.

Rubbing his thumb on her cheek, "I trust you." Another swift kiss, and he gently pushed her toward the office, knowing that's where Gemma would be.

Audrey found the woman deep in thought, lightly knocking not wanting to startle the woman. "Hey. Need any company, or perhaps a paper bitch?" she asked in a teasing tone.

Gemma looked up at the young woman, she had become her lifeline, "No baby. Not today." Taking a hit from her cig, "You pretty much redone all our filing, so, now it's just maintaining." Looking at the woman, she could see that her face had tear stains, "I'm sorry about our mom. Are you OK?" she asked.

Sitting on the crappy couch that was in the office, "Yeah. I'm glad she's at rest now, and while she was my mom, I'm not as sad as I should be, but our relationship was always strained, mom wanted me to be like Cassie, and I was too much like our father for her." Lighting a joint, taking a hit, "But we were family."

Reaching over for the joint, "Family. I get that. My mother and I, couldn't even be in the same house." Her eyes fell on the lot, seeing Chibs head towards the van that was towed in last night. Letting out the smoke, "These last few weeks have been hell. I just wish we could get that one up on him."

Taking her joint back, "Yeah, I know." Trying to formulate another thought, a loud explosion rocked the office.

Looking over the lot, she could see that the van was on fire, and Chibs was laying on the ground. "Oh God." Not wasting anytime, she made her way towards him, checking him over, seeing the others surround him, but her eyes found Clay, "He needs a hospital."

Gemma clung to the door frame; she knew this was Zobelle. The club didn't act the way he wanted after her attack; the club didn't go chasing him and using brute force, and she knew that Mayans, 9ners, and even the Chinese had a tentative truce with each other to not work with a rat, but this was going to send her husband on a war path.

After a week in the hospital, and a creepy visit Chibs wife, Audrey had about enough, hearing Kozik talk about the deals with the Irish, and then the car bomb, she was able to piece together that they were in bed together, how else would Weston and company know where the deal was going down, or the fact that car bomb was expertly placed.

Sitting in the bar, her brain started to figure things out, she was always good at puzzles, why would the Irish turn their backs on the club? Chewing on her lip, they wouldn't. Her mind going back to the young man that showed up on the lot hours after Chibs was taken to the hospital, he was cute, young, and very Irish. Downing her tequila shot, her train of the thought brought her to young Polly Zobelle. It was like a light switch went off.

Jumping down, she ran straight towards the weight room, knowing that's where Clay, Jax, Kozik, and Happy were.

Sliding to a halt, she could see the confusion on their faces, "I think I figured out a piece of the puzzle." Stepping in, she shut the door, "That bomb wasn't just planted by Zobelle, nothing in his history, Weston's indicate any knowledge of that type of bomb, but it does have the similar makings of ones that are used a lot in Ireland." Letting out a breath, "That young man that was here, the Irish kid, he's the right age for Polly, you took out the H for Zobelle, and young people do some really stupid shit when they are in love."

Sitting up Clay heard everything she said, his eyes finding Jax's, he could see the wheels turning in in his head. Looking at his enforcer, and Sgt. at Arms, they were in agreement, Cameron and his son were working with the Aryans. His eyes finding hers, "Dig. Whatever you can, we need proof that he's working outside of the Irish loop."

Nodding. "Where would you like me to set up?"

Turning towards Kozik, "Take her to Church," looking at Happy, "Get Juice."

Sitting back in the inner sanctum, Audrey quicky found what she was looking for, Juice was following along, asking a million questions. It pleased her to know that she was being useful.

Pulling up the records, she was able to unlock all the text messages between Polly and Edmund, "There." Looking over at Kozik, "Get Clay. Please."

Leaning over to kiss her girl, "I love you, pretty girl." Standing up he opened the doors to find most of SAMCRO in the bar, "She's got something."

Filing in, she waited until the doors were shut, turning her computer, "I hacked their phones."

Clay and the rest read the text messages, but he didn't think you could hack a shitty burner. "How, they use burners."

Her eyes found his, "That's true, that prevents GPS tracking, a skilled hacker, as long as it's turned on, and has signal, I can go through anything."

Clay turned his eyes towards Kozik. "Glad she's on our side."

Smiling at his President. Then back at her, "That's my girl."

Standing up, she knew that this part was not for her, "My suggestion, if it's worth anything, Edmund is young, dumb, and being seduced by some pussy, his boss, will consider that a liability, let that shit be handled internally." Opening the doors, she made her way out into the bar, figured that she would sit out here, incase her skills were needed again.

Kozik watched the little woman in his arms sleep, since she helped them find out the connection that Zobelle was using since his H trade was fucked, they have been non-stop, the last two weeks have been brutal, between Stahl, Zobelle, the club was at a loss, but the silver lining, that they were about to get their guns back, and Jimmy O, was more than happy to let Edmund dangle in the wind. Everything was riding on being able to pull off the switch. Chibs played his part wonderfully, letting Stahl think that he was willing to turn rat, even with all the bad history with Jimmy, they even shook hands on the deal. In a few hours, they would be doing the bait and switch, letting Edmund take the hit.

He needed her, gently touching the side of her face, he leaned in to kiss her, chuckling that she kissed him back, even if it was half awake.

Audrey could feel him kiss her, her body immediately responding to his. Her eyes blinked open, seeing that he was watching her, she knew that the next few hours were going to be critical for the club. Rolling a bit on her back, she knew what he needed, what he wanted. "Love me, Herman."

Settling his body on top of hers, he slowly rocked his cock into her warm wet pussy. "Jesus. Audrey. So perfect." He groaned.

Gasping as he filled her body, "You feel so good inside me." Wrapping her legs higher on his hips, she took her arms and slipped them under his, essentially holding her body to his.

The pair moved together slowly, enjoying the tenderness of the moment.

Leaning down Kozik couldn't help but lick the side of her neck, tasting her skin, and sweat, "Cum for me baby." He all but commanded her.

Feeling her body coil, she knew that she wasn't going to last much longer, "I love you, Herman." Arching her body off the bed, she felt her orgasm course through her body. Her legs wrapping themselves tighter around his waist, and her hips pushing down on him, wanting to pull him over the edge with her.

Biting down on her shoulder, he could feel his balls tighten, letting her body milk him, he could feel the ropes of cum coating the insides of her body. Stroking himself slowly with her body, his right hand gently wrapped around her hair, bringing her eyes into his, "Marry me."

Tears filled her eyes, "Yes." Bringing him towards her lips, she kissed him, enjoying the feeling of his body on top of her, inside of her, surrounding her.

Gemma sat in her car, letting the smoke from her joint billow, she knew that the guys were meeting with Weston and his crew in the woods, they still didn't know what happened to her, and nor would they need to know, hell she was even going to the councilor that Dr. Hahn suggested.

The only thing that would settle her need for vengeance is finding that blonde bitch and putting a bullet in her head. Reaching into her purse, she grabbed her 22, and cell phone. Smiling as Audrey picked up on the first ring.

"Hey baby."
"Hey Ma, what's up."
"I need a favor. I know the boys are doing their thing, I need to settle mine."
Closing her eyes, "OK. Give me a second." Typing a few things on her keyboard, "sending you the encrypted link, now." Knowing there was nothing she could do to stop Gemma from this path, "I'm going to send the Prospect, he's going to be there to get you out quickly, he owes me one. No arguments or I'm calling Clay."
Smirking into the phone, "Fine baby. Keep him outside."
"Yes ma'am."

Starting the car, Gemma looked down at the text that finally came through, and the one that followed, taking a deep breath she made her way towards the house. It was time to settle her score.

Audrey made the choice to head over to Jax's place and keep Lyla company, since she was watching Abel. Pulling in she noticed that no one from the club was here, which inherently was strange, but not completely uncommon.

Knocking on the door, she found Lyla with a very energetic toddler. "Figured you'd like some company." Seeing the relief on her face.

"Thank you. He's being such a handful." Stepping out of the way, Lyla couldn't help but laugh at the squeal that came out of his mouth when he realized that Audrey was standing in the front.

Kneeling down to pick him up, Audrey couldn't help but spin him around. "You being a little naughty from Auntie Lyla?"

Snuzzling her neck, "No, just playing." He said, his eyes full of mischief.

Sitting him in his chair, she started to get his lunch together, with Lyla sitting at the table with him, her mind on Gemma, hoping that Kip was watching her back.

Putting mac n' cheese in front of him, she leaned against counter, watching Lyla feed him, "How's your little dude, Piper?" she asked, curious to see where was.

Wiping his little face, "He's at daycare," looking down at Abel, "do you think Gemma will ever allow him to go?"

Shaking her head, "Probably not, unless she see's the benefits of his social development. Which I am working on."

Lyla couldn't help but laugh, "Is that your pet project?" Standing up and putting his dish in the sink behind her friend.

Audrey turned at the sound of the front door opening and shutting. Not hearing the rumble of the bikes, she made the assumption that it was Gemma, but as she waited for the matriarch to come around the corner, a balding man stood there. Moving to position herself between Lyla and Abel, "Who the hell are you?"

His eyes took in the women and child, "Jax took my SON, I'm taking his." Making a step towards the pair, he was surprised that the tiny women stepped in front on him.

Not even taking her eyes off him, "I'd get the hell out of here if I was you." Realizing that this was one of the Irish men that was working with Zobelle, given the age, she would guess the father.

"You think you're going to stop me girly?" his body was full of rage, he didn't want to hurt the girls, but he was going to take the young boy, and raise him as his own.

Sticking out her chin, "On my life." Not even taking her eyes off him, she watched as he launched at her.

Moving quickly, she ducked under his arm, bringing her fist to chin, sending him ass over end, not taking her eyes of him, "BEDROOM NOW!" she yelled over her shoulder. Glad that she heard Lyla run and slam the door, locking it.

Cameron stood up, looking at the woman, "I don't want to hurt you. But I will get that boy. Jimmy is going to kill him, I'm going to take Abel, and raise him as mine." His heart was breaking, he knew that the SONs were the reason behind Edmund.

Shaking her head, "You're going to have to kill me."

Grabbing her arms, he pulled her in, hitting her in the ribs.

Coughing out, Audrey knew that this fight wasn't going to go well, bringing her knee up to his crotch, she felt him fall over, bringing her hands she boxed his ears, and took her hand and brought his face into her knee.

Lifting her fist, she brought it across his face. Bringing her fist down again, she felt him grab her arm and toss her over on her back. Audrey just rolled out of the way of his boot coming down on her face. But she didn't move fast enough to not get kicked in the ribs. Rolling to her side, she kicked out catching his knee.

"FUCKING BITCH. HE's not yours." He said, kneeling after that kick.

Bringing her foot up to his face, kicking him in the jaw. "Doesn't matter you Irish fuck." Standing up, she jumped on his back, wrapping her arms in a headlock, trying to cut the blood flow to his brain.

Cameron stood up, surprised that she held on, he could feel his head getting lighter, slamming her into the wall, he did several times, trying to get her off, but the little bitch refused to let go.

She knew she was going to be bruised, and possibly have a broken rib, but Audrey wasn't going to stop until this fuck was knocked out or fucking dead.

Using her legs, she wrapped them around his arms trying to reduce the impact they were having on her ribs.

The sound of crashing; caused Audrey to hold on to the man tighter, but her eyes found the door, rushing in Jax, Opie, Happy, Tig, and Kozik. Relief flooded her, but she wasn't going to let go.

Kozik stared at her face, he could see some of the bruising starting form on her neck. His eyes found Cameron, barely conscious. "Baby let him go. We have him now."

She heard him, but didn't think that she should, he was a danger to Abel, but her eyes found Kozik and she could see that he was concerned for her.

Letting him go, she pushed him towards Happy, who brought his fist across his face. "Abel is in your room with Lyla." She said, to him, watching him run down the hall.

Wrapping her arms around him, "I need a drink."

Pulling her into his arms, "Are you OK?" he asked her.

Letting out a strangled cry, as she watched Happy and Tig drag an unconscious man out of the house. "I'm sore, but I'm fine." Hearing Abel cry out her name, she grabbed him and spun him around, "I'm so proud of you little man. That was great listening." Looking at Lyla holding on to Opie. "You OK?" she asked her.

Lyla wiped her face, and just nodded.

Jax stared at them, but his eyes locked on Audrey, "What happened?"

Putting Abel down, "Why don't you pack a bag, OK?" Smiling as he ran towards his room. Standing up she locked eyes with Jax, "He came in, saying that you got his son killed, and that he wanted to take Abel for himself." Stepping back, she felt Herman's arm wrap around her waist. Feeling his arms around her, feeling safe.

Kozik kissed her neck, looked at Jax knowing that he owed her his son's life.

Jax stared at the woman, "Thank you Audrey."

Nodding at him, "You're most welcome."

But before they could enjoy the quiet, Jax received a call from Clay, saying that Gemma was on the run.
