She stood still as the footsteps approached. Weeks of watching and planning had led her to this point. At eleven O'clock on the dot, they went to bed. At half past eleven, they turned off their lights, and fifteen minutes later they would be fast asleep. The sleeping pills would make sure they stayed that way.

She listened as the sound of breathing slowed down, indicating that the couple had fallen asleep. At exactly quarter to twelve she left her hiding spot and made her way over to the bed. The male stirred, but it didn't bother her, he wouldn't wake up. They would never wake up again.

The knife she'd picked moved from one hand to the other as she contemplated on who to kill first.

"Eeny, meeny, miny, moe,
"Catch an abuser by his throat,
"If he hollers, make it quick,
"And break the next one like a stick."

A smile spread across her face, "And we've got a winner! You, sir, are in luck."

The door fell closed behind her, no hint of her ever being there left behind. She just hoped that Harry would appreciate her gift. The couple, Vernon and Petunia Dursley, were no more.
