BANG!

The bassy, ear-splitting shriek of gunpowder reverberated throughout the redend sky and scorching air of Hell, reflecting off of the crude stone monuments and large cliff-faces dotted across the barren wasteland before falling upon the ears of a horribly unfortunate Imp. This occurrence was not at all rare, but despite its relative frequency it still struck abject horror into the hearts of all of Hell's inhabitants. They had all heard it, long into the distance of course, for none close enough to see its origin lived to remember. The sound's source, now stood before a grotesque scene consisting of several gallons of blood and viscera, was the dreaded "Slayer", as Hell had come to call him. They ejected two empty shells from the now hollow barrels of his shotgun which emanated smoke carrying the harsh scent of potassium nitrate. The hot shells flew through the air before splashing into a pool of dark red blood, creating a short sizzle as the relatively cool liquid was involuntarily transferred immense heat, before the two were overcome with silence. Bits and pieces of a barely recognisable Hell Knight were apathetically spilt upon the hot stone walls, causing the smaller chunks of loosely connected brain tissue to char instantly while dots of blood were caramelized into a viscus black tar. The Slayer gripped two red shells and placed them into his gun before flipping the open barrels back into place, then turning away from the scene and trotting out of the temple he chased the cowardly demon into. Along the way rested a collection of Imp corpses who's skulls were crushed as The Slayer carelessly treaded upon them. The Slayer decided to bring their poaching session, which had gone on for about three days, to a close. Immense pools of gore lined all of his weapons, dangerously so. Because despite how fine-tuned his instruments of death were, they could only take so much abuse before they began to break down.

The Slayer tapped on the side of his helmet to call his only true companion in his terrifying conquest, and soon after the familiarly monotone voice of V.E.G.A. filled his suit. "Well done," It began. "I suppose you'd like to bring an end to your poaching?" The Slayer responded with a silent, slight nod. "Excellent, I'll open a portal for you now." As promised, a thin blue slit in space-time formed a few feet in front of The Slayer, spinning wildly into a circular shape as its diameter expanded. The center of the unfinished structure darkened whilst the perimeter glowed brighter and brighter with more Argent Energy. Stray wisps of that energy were flung from the circle, either because they were too chaotic to conform to the portal's demands, or because they were too weak to properly serve their purpose. The whole array was as unforgivingly efficient as The Slayer it served, but this time something had gone awry. "I'm detecting high amounts of Hell Energy interfering with the portal."

What V.E.G.A. intended to be a warning The Slayer took as a promise. The mere prospect of being drenched in demon blood was almost orgasmic to him, and thus he prepared accordingly. Loud metal clanks, buckles, and slides filled the air as The Slayer swiftly filled his arsenal with new mutations. Once his collection of weapons were ready, he assumed a fighting stance facing the chaotic mechination that promised a new hoard of hell-bound creatures.

"The portal will be opening in three…" V.E.G.A. began. "...two…" The Slayer gripped his shotgun tightly with murderous intent. "...one…" With a loud 'fwoosh' the point between two distances collapsed, stitching them together in a crude attempt to defy the spatial dimensions that govern our world. However, despite V.E.G.A.'s warning, what lay before The Slayer was not an onslaught of hell's forces, but instead a scrawny highschooler who's back faced the portal.

"Welcome to paradise!" He announced, backing slowly through the ethereal contraption. The uneven, rocky floor of Hell seemed to take the boy by surprise as they lost their footing, beginning to stubble backwards as they tried their best to balance themselves, before falling completely and slamming their back upon the ground, landing more inches away from The Slayer's skull-crushing boot. "Uh, Rias, this doesn't look like the beach." he comedically responded before noticing the tall, masculine figure beside him and scrambling to his feet.

"I'm aware." The redhead, presumably named 'Rias', responded. They eyed the Slayer, trying to examine the landscape without removing The Slayer from their line of sight. Alongside the two humanoids stood another four entities. Three women and one man. They all donned incredibly skimpy swimwear, except for the two men who only wore shorts.

Both parties remained motionless, unsure if they should attack or simply explain the situation. Eventually, Rias decided for her group.

"I'm sorry," She began. "It seems our portal ended up here. We'll be leaving now, won't we?" Rias turned to one of her members, one with long, black hair tied in a ponytail with a red bow.

"Yes Ma'am." She responded. The woman raised her hands, spawning an intricate rune on the floor that glowed a soft red.

But The Slayer was not so willing to leave just yet. He felt it, the energy that flowed all around him in the sickeningly evil atmosphere of Hell. He felt it in them, all of them. It was overwhelming. Like being surrounded with filth, and yet the necrotic smell of a rotting corpse could be distinctly smelt over the whole of the landfill that surrounded you. It was the dreaded Hell Energy, the heinous fuel that granted all of the demons life. Something given to only the most abhorrent of creatures, and these things were overflowing with it. He knew what had to be done, and he knew he would enjoy every second of it.

Rias commanded their servant, "Try not to link to someone else's portal this ti-". but was cut off as The Slayer leapt through the gateway and slammed his weight upon the evil creature. The slaughter had begun.

Every creature in the room, save for Rias, threw themselves at The Slayer. Kiba struck his sword on The Slayer's back, but merely bounded off of it. Koniko Lunged her body at The Slayer's head, impacting it feet-first, which sent him forward about ten meters until his feet, still touching the ground and keeping balance, made him slide to a halt. Issei swung his fist at The Slayer, but managed only to connect with the wall as The Slayer sidestepped his attack. The Slayer's shoulder-mounted flamethrower trained its scorching barrel at Issei, tossing a thick blanket of embers into his face as a powerful kick landed squarely into his chest, causing Issei to vomit a mixture of stomach contents and blood that vaporized in the intense heat of the Flame Belch.

"Issei!" Rias, able to stand now, witnessed the onslaught. She erupted with anger, launching a pillar of black fire at The Slayer's body, completely shrouding him in the magical flame. But the intruder lept from the fire, wielding a Warhammer that he slammed upon the ground. The force of his attack blew a massive chunk of the wall off of its supports, throwing Rias through the newly created hole as she fell from the Occult Research Club's room on the top floor of one of their school buildings. The Slayer leapt through the hole himself, revealing his Ballista that he charged within the air. Before he could unleash his attack, Koneko once again kicked him, this time like Captain Falcon's down-air, as The Slayer was heaved into the dirt. He rolled along the ground when Koneko attempted another attack as she approached him from the air. The Slayer gripped his sword, The Crucible, carving it deep into Konico's side. Kiba lept from the building, attempting a downward strike with his sword, but The Slayer grabbed Kiba's waist and threw him to the ground, the sound of crunching bone's being heard alongside Kiba's cry of pain.

Rias barely managed to eeak a bit of air into her lungs before exclaiming "Akeno, get us out of here!" with as much authority as she could possibly command.

The black-haired girl once again lifted her arms as the same red rune formed below her companions. The Slayer saw this, and made one more attempt to keep the fiendish demons here, where he could rip and tear to his satisfaction. The held the BFG-9000, charging its destructive force as he aimed the weapon at Akeno. He needed to exterminate them, at all costs. A loud beep echoed from the gun as it finished charging, but in the moment that the weapon was discharged, the creatures had fled. Instead, the green orb flew towards the building, erupting as it struck the back wall, completely demolishing the entire floor, to which the rest of the building followed soon after.

As the air began to still, the sound of yelling and gunfire fading into the distance, The Slayer's blood boiled with anger at his defeat. They escaped. Those incredibly evil bastards fled to who knows where, and now he was stranded in some other realm, alone, without any way to get back. But that thought hadn't occurred to him, the only thing he had on his mind was slaying whatever form of hell lingered throughout the world, this one included, and yet he failed. As he contemplated this conundrum, that same evil force ignited his senses. He turned on his feet, darting toward its source. After a few moments of running, he landed in the town square. A large strip of road lined with stores and restaurants, all closed due to how late it was. In the distance he saw two figures standing upon a brick trail that ended at a decorative fountain. One of them, a woman, ripped her clothes as they transformed into a humanoid with wicked black wings and a staff of red light. The hunt continued.
