I don't own Vampire Diaries.
Chapter 1
The Mystic Falls was once a forest or the land of opportunity for landowners and property. The founding families who built the town were Gilbert, Salvatore, Forbes, Fell, Bennett, and Maxwell, but the one who was their high king that led them was Wollstonecraft.
Wollstonecraft was the most famous and influential family with wealth and status who had no equals or rivals.
They are respected.
They are feared and awe upon the public.
However, it was then their alchemist was their advisor.
The Golden Witch is named Beatrice.
She was the one who gave their family gold.
She told Alfred Wollstonecraft, head of the family, about Vampires living among them. He brought the other head of their family into a secret meeting where they brought proof of vampires.
A man who is a vampire was tortured yet shows signs of black veins and sharp fangs.
"This gentleman is what my alchemist said is beyond true," Alfred turned to the other men. "We had vampires living among us."
That was when an excellent hunt for every vampire happened.
The founding families succeeded in capturing 27 vampires (including Katherine Pierce) but were unsuccessful in killing them. After they had poisoned the vampires with vervain, the humans had sealed them inside of an abandoned church that was later set on fire.
Now stories were passed down from century to centuries until they became just stories told to their children and public media.
The last descendants are Edward Wollstonecraft, the family's grandfather and head, and Augusta and Rose's two living grandchildren.
This is their story.

In ancient mythology, the wolf was held in high esteem and was sacred to the god Woden.
Woden's wolf was symbolic of power and freedom. As an animal to be feared in the forests of Europe, together with the aura of mystique surrounding it, the wolf features in very many folk tales and legends.
Tun refers to enclosed ground, which can also be a village or town; whilst the addition of croft, similarly relates to an enclosed parcel of land.
