-Introduction-
-Age 782-
A young attractive and aloof young man with sharp black hair and defined muscles under his light skin sat in a school bus across from a completely average boy. His name was Son Goten. He was fifteen years old, pretty young to be going to high school, but Yokai Academy was the only school that didn't ask any questions about citizenship and national status. Given that, Goku didn't think look too much at it, focusing on seemingly more important issues.
His father Goku had found a pamphlet for the school in the mailbox of the apartment he lived in with his son Goten. Not really questioning the Good luck, and with no one else around to call it suspicious, Goku enrolled Goten in the academy. After all, Goten was more than capable of protecting himself from a bad situation.
All in all, Goten was a fairly well off young man, aside from the financial situation that had partially been alleviated by his father's job as a Bouncer at the local nightclub. Goten's green dress jacket and dress pants over his white dress shirt and red tie were very tight on him, limiting his movement. However, he did not complain. After all, his dad had told him he needed to wear it.
It had been five years since he and his dad had arrived in this strange universe due to an accident with the room of spirit and time and he was already going to school. It certainly was a new experience for him, and this new school was supposedly a fun place.
The driver was an odd man, and Goten could sense a strange Ki from him, but he didn't really take much thought to it as he was more engrossed with his game console. It was a blue Nintendo DS that he played with for some fun on the bus ride. Games were something he enjoyed playing with his friend Trunks back when he still could. A frown came across his face, knowing that he might not ever see his friends and family again. Besides his father of course.
Turning it off and placing it in his brown carrier bag that he had sitting to his right next to the window, he looked to the other boy. From what he could tell, the boy was your average human. He had soft brown hair, light skin, Large innocent brown eyes and a thin stature. He didn't look like a fighter, and judging by the occasional glances he was throwing at Goten, he was kind of timid.
Turning to him, Goten decided to break the ice and talk to him.
"Hey, what's your name? I'm Goten" Goten asked with a warm smile while reaching his hand out for a fist bump, trying not to spook the boy even more than he already was by the bus driver.
The boy almost jumped in surprise after hearing the large boy who had outright not even acknowledged him this entire time address him. After all, he was just disturbed from his thoughts about what the bus driver said to him when he boarded.
Giving a quick smile in return, the boy greeted Goten.
"Hi Goten, I'm Tsukune. Nice to meet you" Tsukune politely answered, turning to him and returning the fist bump after he realized what the boy was doing.
"Drivers got you stressed out huh?" Goten asked Tsukune with a small laugh. It wasn't a laugh to make fun of him, instead it was to ease the tension. After all, he could sense the boy's stress in his fluctuating Ki.
Tsukune laughed awkwardly running a hand through his hair and replied.
"It was that obvious huh? This whole situation is kinda freaky. I just want to get to school without much problems, you know?" Tsukune asked Goten who nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, this bus driver is kinda weird and-" He cut off midsentence and his eyes went wide.
"Oh no!" Goten exclaimed with worry. He could no longer sense the Ki's of the planet. Even his father was no longer sensed.
"We're in another dimension" Goten said with horror, before getting up from his seat and pushing Tsukune back down on his own seaat.
"Tsukune, listen to me. I'm going to confront the bus driver. If anything happens, try to escape out the back" Goten seriously said before calling out to the bus driver.
"Hey! Where are you taking us?" He angrily called out to the driver, who just laughed amusedly.
"Remember, I said that this is a school for monsters. Why would you be surprised that it's in another dimension?" The bus driver responded unperturbed, pulling the bus to a stop.
"We've arrived at our destination. Get out" The driver called back to them opening the front door.
Goten looked to Tsukune who looked back at him with strong fear in his eyes.
"Well, I wasn't expecting this. That's so like Dad to sign me up at a school for monsters without even paying attention" Goten said with an accepting sigh before taking his bags from the seat and walking up front. Turning back, he saw Tsukune plastered to his seat, shaking in fear.
"Come on Tsukune, we're here" Goten called to him from next to the door. However, Tsukune didn't respond to him, instead he begged the driver to take him back home as he wasn't a monster.
"Whatever dude, Thanks for the ride driver" Goten who had now accepted this as just another dimension, kind of like the room of spirit and time, or otherworld got off the bus and looked around.
"Yup. Dad being careless it is" Goten chuckled to himself amused at what situation he had found himself in. All around them were a large forest of dead trees under a gray sky that was filled with darker gray clouds. A huge red lake stretched far behind him, and high up atop a hill was what looked like the school campus. It looked like a large cluster of castles. However, insteead of the shining beautiful castles one would expect in a tale of knights and dragons, it looked more like the castles of the villainy.
"AAAAAAAAGGGHH" He heard the scream of Tsukune before loud thuds struck the ground. It seemed that Tsukune had been unceremoniously kicked off the bus with his bags in tow shortly after. Tsukune managed to get up from the ground and dust himself off, however it seemed that he was thoroughly peeved.
Then he heard the bus speed off.
"Damnit" Goten cursed, forgetting to ask the driver when the next time he would be coming was. It wasn't a problem that was too important at the moment though. He was certian his dad would find him if things got bad.
"Oh well, I can find that out on campus" Goten thought as he turned to Tsukune.
"Well, Welcome to...Whatever this is" Goten laughed a bit, waving his hand in an arc towards the school, welcoming Tsukune to the new school dimension. He was much like his father in that he didn't really care much about things and accepted them as they came, so this whole new dimension and scary place wasn't that bad. Besides, there were no Kis that were even remotely a threat to even someone like Krillen or Yamcha, let alone him.
Tsukune was not taking this as well as Goten and was panicking. Given that he was a human at a supposed school for monsters, it made sense that he was scared.
Walking over to him, Goten took him lightly by the shoulders and tried to calm him down.
"Easy there Tsukune. This is just another dimension, nothing much to worry so much about" He said with his best attempt at a reassuring grin, but just seemed to scare Tsukune even more who broke through the very light hold Goten had on him.
"This is a school for monsters Goten! I'm a human, Not a monster! I don't want to die" Tsukune yelled, scared of what might happen to him.
"It can't be too bad, besides, you're my first friend here. I can help you out if things get scary. I might not look like it, but I'm probably stronger than everyone in this dimension combined.
Tsukune's eyes widened and he stepped backwards slowly.
"Are you a monster?" He nervously asked, fear plastered on his face. It never crossed his mind that Goten might be a monster, but now that he thought about it, Goten was taking this way too well.
"WHAT? A monster? No!" Goten hurriedly responded, shocked by the question.
"Then what are you and what are you doing at a school for monsters?" Tsukune asked, recomposing himself.
"I'm human. My dad must have not read what this school was about and just enrolled me because it was the first school to accept me. What are you doing here?" Goten lied, deciding that saying he was half alien from another universe wasn't much better than saying he was a monster.
"I'm in the same boat as you. My family must not have read what this school was about" Tsukune responded before a realization hit him.
"Wait, you said that you were probably stronger than anything here. What does that mean?" He asked Goten who got a big smile on his face.
"I'm a martial artist and one of the strongest fighters on Earth! I can sense the energy of everything here, and none of it is even close to me or my friends. I told you, If you have any problems, come to me and I'll fix them" Goten replied with a confident grin.
Tsukune felt relieved by Goten, even if he wasn't entirely sure how martial arts stacked up against monsters.
"Thanks Goten" Tsukune responded happy he wasn't completely alone.
"No problem. Let's get going" Goten replied starting to make his way towards the school. Following shortly after was Tsukune who didn't want to be left out in this scary place alone. The two started walking up towards the school when Goten heard something and sensed a Ki rapidly approaching them from behind. It didn't seem outwardly malicious at least.
Tsukune was oblivious and was about to start talking again before Goten grabbed him, pulling him away so fast he didn't even see him move.
"Whoa, what was that for?" Tsukune asked right as a Girl on a bike sped right through where Tsukune was a moment ago tike a rocket.
Skidding to a stop a few meters away, the Girl dismounted her bike and approached them. She was rather pretty, with long flowing pink hair, light skin, deep green eyes and a beautiful figure. She wore the female outfit for the school consisting of a green jacket, white shirt and plaid skirt. Around her neck was a rosary, with a silver cross topped with a round red gem. It seemed tightly bound to her.
"Uh oh" Goten said, unsure of what was about to transpire as this girl's Ki wasn't human.
Looking to Tsukune who was still recovering from the whiplash Goten gave him, He looked at the boy who seemed enthralled by the girl's beauty. Goten grinned, seeing that Tsukune was taken by her image.
"Are you guys okay" The girl asked with concern as she ran over to them.
Goten gave a grin and responded.
"I'm fine, but you almost hit this guy here" He said, motioning to Tsukune who had finally recovered.
"I'm so sorry" The girl apologized taking Tsukune by the hand and apologizing to him.
Tsukune blushed at the contact and looked away from the girl in front of him.
"I-It's okay. Goten got me out of the way" He responded.
"Alright! I'm Moka by the way. It's nice to meet you two. It's my first time here and I'm looking to make friends. Can I be your friend?" The girl responded with a smile, letting go of Tsukune's hand and greeting the two boys.
"Sure. I'm Goten, Nice to meet you!" Goten responded, reaching out to Moka for a handshake, who shook his hand, delighted at meeting him.
Her eyes went wide after a second.
"The Goten? Son Goten? Son of the Famous Goku?" Moka asked excited at meeting one of the most famous kids in the monster world. She had heard stories of his father Goku from quite a few people.
"Yup, that's me" Goten responded, a little embarrassed at the fame his father had brought him.
