Sorano brushed through her hair, humming the lullaby that her mother used to sing to her and her sister. After finishing with her hair she left her room, ready for the day. Or so she thought, but when she entered the kitchen of the small house that she shared with Yukino she saw all of Crime Sorciere sitting at the table.
"What are they doing here!?" Sorano asked, pulling her sister into the living room so that most of them were out of earshot, she wouldn't bother with preventing Erik from hearing them.
"Well they were in town and I thought maybe they could use a nice full breakfast," Yukino answered, an innocent smile on her face.
"You forced them to stay didn't you?" Sorano could see right through the younger girl and knew she was planning something.
"Okay, maybe I did, but this way you can tell Macbeth how you feel," Yukino said, pulling her sister closer, her grip on the angel mage's arm starting to get tighter.
"Oh, no, absolutely not! Besides, why do I have to do that when you can't confess to Sting, although I'll never know why you like him." Sorano said, prying Yukino off of her and walking back to the kitchen.
"Well it's nice to see all of you, even if it's out of the blue," Sorano said, grabbing some cups and the orange juice for the others. Kicking Sawyer out of one of the chairs, Sorano took a seat at the table and poured herself a cup of juice.
"Sooo, what's life like in Sabertooth?" Meredy asked, making it obvious that she was only interested in the gossip.
"It's been great, but everyone is so damn hopeless when it comes to a romantic relationship." This, of course, resulted in Yukino turning into a stuttering, blushing mess, much to the amusement of Meredy. The rest of the morning the group talked about life and teased each other, mostly Jellal. The entire time Sorano and Macbeth kept looking over at each other and Erik felt like he was going to lose it if they didn't stop.
"Well, thanks for having us, but we should really get going now," Jellal said, ushering the rest of his guild out the door. After they had left Sorano noticed that Macbeth had left behind a note, this had been something he had started doing after they left the tower. She would never tell him but she had kept each one hoping one day there was one saying he loved her. The angel mage smiled as she read what he had written this time, he always knew how to make her feel good.
