"I won't say it again…", the bluenette held her behemoth of a sword in front of spidey's face, "…the holy swords…hand them over." She growled

"I think there's been some kind of misunderstanding…" said Spidey, "…Holy swords, was it? Never heard of the- WOAH-"

The wall crawler was grabbed by his collar by his attacker, now a few inches from the bluenettes face.

"The longer this takes the worse it'll be for you stray…"

"Stray? Ok, there's definitely been a misunderstanding…", replied Spidey looking between the blunette and her partner.

Growing tired of the webslingers sass, his attacker threw him back on the ground and attempted to plunge the knife through his gut. Spidey was much too quick for her however. Evading the gutting, Spidey gained some distance from the two cloaked figures.

The bluenette's partner extended her sword again, but the web head was ready this time.

With another perfect evasion, the sword had been impaled into a nearby ac unit. Webbing the elongated sword to the now defunct unit, the girl's weapon was stuck.

Spidey knew the other one would attack, and she did. Continuing to evade the blue haired girl's attacks, Spidey could see that while the swings were wild, they were still lethal and albeit a little fast.

"Tch…is dodging all your capable of?", the bluenette taunted, clearly frustrated

"I can recite Shakespeare while doing a handstand…wanna see?"

Grunting the bluenette heaved her sword and the red and blue 'stray' once again to no avail.

"Okay look I think we got off on the wrong foot here, I really don't know anything about any holy swords, honest!"

"Liar!"

She charged at the wall crawler, by all laws of physics she shouldn't have been able to move so fast with such a large weapon and such a small frame. But physics have been wrong before for young Mr. Parker.

Still the wall crawler had dealt with much worse than her and he wouldn't be done in by a giant hunk of steel…or a hunk of steel that could change shape for that matter.

Chopping the space where Spidey once was the bluenette was finally starting to feel a little winded.

"How exactly am I supposed to tell you anything if you cleave me in two with that thing?", Spidey said landing next to the blue haired swordswoman.

Just then his spider sense kicked in, the other cloaked figure had freed herself and was in the process of swiping at our hero. The bluentte followed her lead and swiped at Spidey with her large blade from the other side.

Instinctively moving as he had done before, Spidey was able to evade this as well, twisting his body in midair so that one blade passed below him and the other above him.

Both girls shocked by Spiderman's agility, failed to realize that they had both been latched onto by his webbing. Using all o his strength, Spidey pulled as hard as he could and hurled both girls towards each other.

An audible smack of flesh could be heard as both girls' petite bodies collided with one another.

Before they could recover, they saw a small red ball roll towards them, and in an instant all movement had been restricted as it erupted, completely covering them in webbing.

"Ewww what…is this stuff! Gross! It's in my hair!", the one who appeared to have pigtails cried

The bluenette simply tried to free herself, pulling and tugging at the webbing all the while shooting glares at the wall crawler every few seconds.

"Alright well you two have fun with that, I'm gonna go…" Spidey began running towards the edge of the rooftop, "…we should do this again sometime!"

Diving off the edge, the girls were left to free themselves on their own, "…not really though…", said Spidey poking his head out from over the edge. "That was sarcasm…case you didn't know.", and with that the wall crawler left for good this time.

After gaining a considerable amount of distance from his attackers, Spidey checked the contents of his pockets, or lack thereof, to make sure that the USB drive was still okay.

Spidey's heart skipped a beat when he couldn't feel the USB, or rather it's what he did find that scared him. Spidey's fingers brushed and grazed little bits and pieces of the now destroyed flash drive. Spilling the pieces out on to the rooftop to make sure he wasn't losing his mind or something, hoping that maybe it was something else that had been broken like one of his gadgets or maybe it was his phone again.

Alas the poor Spider's heart sank once he had put all the pieces together only to reveal what once was the key to putting an end to all this…the USB was completely destroyed and beyond repair along with all the data within that was now irrecoverable beyond all means.

"This…this can't be happening…", said Spiderman as he scooped up the pieces and examined them once more, still hoping that maybe it was a different USB stick he had in his pocket.

"I…I was so close…", the Spider let his head hang and wondered if there was any way he could've avoided this. He could hear the words of his friends echo through his mind 'its not your fault' 'you had no way of knowing' 'you tried your best'. Yet these words did not bring him comfort nor did they console him.

He felt worse knowing that he had let everyone down," This can't possibly get any worse…" and at that exact moment, it began to rain…

"…I'm going home…", grumbled Spiderman

"Any word on the Rider's position?" asked Fury

"No…none yet, all we know is that he is somewhere on earth." Said Strange while checking the time, "…they're late, they should've been here thirty-five minutes ago."

"They're probably caught up in something…"Fury checked his watch to see if Strange was exaggerating, surely enough, he was not.

Releasing a deep sigh Fury popped a cigarette into his mouth. Due to the rain however he couldn't get his lighter to ignite.

"I thought youd quit…" said Strange raising an eyebrow

"Yea well I thought I did too…but then I became director…" said Fury while protecting the flame with his palm. "If this rain gets any heavier we'll have to call this off till next time…"

"How convenient for you…" replied Strange

"Im sorry?"

"When exactly do you plan on telling them about the alien you've been housing on you carrier."

"When the time is right…", Fury grumbled

"When the time is right? When is that exactly? When that thing breaks out? When it kills another one of your crew?"

"We'll talk about this later"

"Talk about what later?", Grayfia interrupted, Serafall not far behind her.

Fury pinched the bridge of his nose and glared at Strange, "Look ill explain later I promise but for now let's focus on finding the Rider. Do either of you have any leads?"

"Unfortunately, no I haven't been able to find him and no one else in the underworld has a clue."

"Okay…Serafall what about you?"

"Well he did say that he was after Kokabiel…"

"I don't suppose you happen to know where he is do you?" asked Strange

"Um no…"

"Serafall you've managed to find the Rider before, what's taking so long this time?", wondered Fury.

"I dont know! Maybe if you all started treating him like an actual person he might listen for once. That could be the reason why Im the only one who actually understands him! Plus, I've actually held a conversation with him one time.", Serafall replied smugly

Strange and Fury looked at each other, "…Really?", they said in unison.

"Asking him for the time doesn't count as a conversation." Added Grayfia

Serafall had no rebuttal she only pouted.

"Regardless, if those two, meet it could spell disaster for us."

"Why is that? Exactly, I can't imagine that the Rider going after Kokabiel is a bad thing."

"Those two could level a city in seconds, you all know how the Rider gets he doesn't worry about how he gets the job done as long as it gets done, and if you ask me, that's bad news for us."

"We'll just have to hope that they meet somewhere secluded." Said Grayfia

"I doubt we'll be that lucky…by the way where's Zechs?", said Fury stomping out his cigarette.

"Sirzechs could not attend as he had more pressing matters to see to. Therefore, I am here in his stead."

"Is that right…well then, this meeting is adjourned let us know if you've found anything else."

As fury turned to leave, Strange stopped him, "Not so fast Director, I believe you owe these ladies an explanation…"

Hoping that they had forgotten, Fury pinched the bridge of his nose once more, "Fine…"

As Fury went into detail about the alien hominid aboard his Heli carrier, the others had more than a few questions.

"So you're saying it escaped?", wondered Serafall

"No the original escaped, what we have now in our possession is its off spring."

"It gave birth?"

"In a way, yeah it did."

"Why were you so opposed to telling us this Fury?", added Grayfia

"Because its not your problem, my team and I can handle it."

"Very well", continued Grayfia, "…and what are we to do with the organism that's already escaped?"

"I've already got that under control, just worry about finding the Rider…"

With that, Fury turned on his heel and walked off, the other three staying and wondering if the director had a little too much on his plate.

"So let me get this straight…", said Norman with his back facing Kala and Mittelt. Otto was also present on the room, seemingly knowing that things were not going to end well. "…You let people, strangers no less break into my home and steal company secrets, my secrets. Twice...", he growled.

"We-"

"I'm not finished…", said Norman cutting off Kala, "…not only that, but you were both bested by this Spiderman on two separate occasions. So tell me exactly…", Norman finally turned to face them, "…why should I keep either of you around…"

This annoyed Kala, "You seemed to have forgotten something human…", she hissed at Norman, "…we don't work for you."

She marched right up to Norman, and grabbed him by the collar, the scene made Otto's eyes bug out.

"We serve Kokabiel and only Kokabiel, once he has what he needs from you humans we'll do away with you."

Norman smiled…

"You…do away with me?", Norman grabbed Kala's arm with such ferocity it was almost broken, the fallen angel winced in pain when her arm was removed from his collar.

"You think that I'm just going to sit here and have some no-good overgrown birds who can't even follow simple instructions bad mouth me in MY OWN HOME!", roared Norman, his neck veins becoming visible.

Kala broke free from Normans grip and massaged her arm; the bruise was already starting to form. This made Kala absolutely livid, not only did this human touch her, he hurt her.

"I'll make sure you regret putting your hands on me huma-ahh!", in the blink of an eye, Norman had already wrapped his hand around Kala's throat. Squeezing with such force, she could barely make a sound.

"Norman! What are you-"

"Be quiet Otto…", said Norman not taking his eyes off of Kala, "…Kalawarner, was it? From what I recall, you fallen angels are rejects, correct? Angels who strayed from the path of righteousness for their own selfish desires…pitiful. I guess that would your Kokabiel lord of the rejects, wouldn't it?"

Kala could only sputter and gag…

"In a way I can relate to your lot, going after the things you want and taking them as you please. Breaking rules, betraying those you call friends, lying to loved ones, all for the sole purpose of getting your way…but you see…", Norman moved Kala closer to his face, he wanted her to hear this one.

"The difference between you and I, is that I actually get results…", a sharp snap could be heard across the room, in just a few moments Kala's body went limp and her vitals slowed.

"…and I answer to no one…", Norman released Kala, her body crumpling to the floor and staying there. Kala never made another sound again…

Norman's eyes darted to Mittelt, causing her to flinch. "You…come here…", doing as she was told, Mittlet hesitantly walked over to Norman out of fear.

Norman, lifted her chin with his finger so that they were now face to face. "She was an example, understand?"

Mittelt said nothing, averting her gaze from Norman, " I said do you understand…", he snarled

"Y-Yes…"

"Say it…"

"I…I understand…"

"Good, now you'll be in charge of security around here. If there are any more mishaps, or if I hear about some miscreants breaking in here again, and I find out you're the one responsible…", Norman moved his lips to Mittlet's ear.

"I'll gut you like a fucking pig, and use your head as my personal flesh light…understand…"

Mittlet was shocked, what did he just sa-

Norman grabbed Mittlets hair and shoved her face into the floor, "Do. You. Understand…"

"Yes! Yes, I understand!", said Mittlet, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Good…now…", Norman released and stood up, fixing his tie in the process, "…clean that up…", he said motioning over to Kala's cold body.

Norman headed for the door, Otto following not far behind him.

"It's unsightly…", he said before the door closed

Norman and Otto made their way to the lower levels of the building once again. A project they had both been working on for a while now was nearly complete. The laboratory had seen better days, they were more cleaning staff than actual scientists down here thanks to the constant break ins.

"Hold on…", said Norman, Otto waited patiently already knowing what Norman was about to do.

Just as he predicted, Norman went up to one of the cooling chambers and entered a series of numbers on the key pad next to its door. Once the correct digits had been entered, the door split down the middle and the ice-cold air poured out.

Norman grabbed a vial of the 'perfected' devil's lotus, popping off its lid and downing its contents. Norman gritted his teeth as it slithered down his throat, it wasn't exactly the best tasting thing in the world.

Norman tossed the empty vial in Otto's direction, nearly fumbling it as he caught it.

"You know….I think you're overdoing it on this stuff Nor-"

"How is Aleksei doing, have you started on those calibrations you told me about?", said Norman interrupting Otto.

Otto, deciding to move on, answered, "Yes, he seems to be adjusting well to the suit. Its imcredible really out of all the test subjects he was the only one able to achieve a one hundred and ten percent synchronization rate with the Rampant Hydraulic Indestructible Neurological Operator suit."

"Christ Otto just call it the Rhino suit…", Norman procured a strange looking inhaler from his coat.

Otto's eyes nearly bugged out of his skull when he saw what Norman was holding. "N-Norman! Is that!?"

Before, Otto could finish, Norman shoved the the strange looking device into his face, a set of prongs entering his nostrils and ejecting a green gas. The perfected devil's lotus was now synthesized into a gas like state and could be inhaled. What Norman was holding was a prototype and was known to cause worrying side effects.

"Norman…what have you done! We haven't finished ironing out the bugs on the gas variant yet! It could kill you!"

"Otto….", he growled

"Y-Yes…?"

"I have a mild headache coming on…if it gets any worse…ill turn you inside out…", one major side effect was increased aggression.

"Norman…how many of those vials have you been drinking…"

"…Who knows…I've lost count…but…I can feel it coming Otto…"

"Coming? What's coming?"

"The more I drink and consume of this devil's lotus, I become stronger. Look at what I did to that fallen angel back there…the one with the blue hair. By all accounts I shouldn't have been able to overpower her as I did, but her neck felt so brittle, so meek in my hand. Not to mention this…"

In that moment Norman had conjured pure fire to appear in the palm of his hand, something Otto had become familiar with.

"I've surpassed the limits of what a human being can do Otto, and the best part is…I know there's more power lying dormant in me. The devil's lotus reacts differently depending on the subject, correct? If you have the stones and you survive, you'll be blessed with unimaginable abilities, but if your body is too weak to handle it, you simply die a slow and painful death."

Otto shivered when a hellish grin appeared on Norman's face," I, Norman Osborn have been chosen to wield this power and do with it as I please…in short more devil's lotus means more power.", Otto could've sworn that he saw Normans eyes began to glow, "…to think that someday I'll achieve the status of a god…or maybe even beyond that…"

Now at the testing room holding Aleksei, Norman noticed the several wires and cables coming in and out of the suit he was in. One monitoring his heart rate and the other monitoring his brain waves. True to his word, Norman spotted the terminal that read one hundred and ten percent synchronicity.

The suit itself was nothing short of amazing, a whopping nine feet tall, and completely matte black with the Oscorp logo plastered on its back. The suit had a visor that could go up and down at the users will, once the visor was pulled down the user's face was completely obscured but protected. Two small green lights would act as the eyes for the suit, these were merely for aesthetic purposes.

More small green lights traveled up both legs of the suit and down its arms, the same could be seen on the suits back making it look like the suit's spinal column. Another feature of the suits face armor was its horn. The horn could retract for a more stubbier looking horn or extended showing off a more pronounced and sharper horn. The addition of firearms and a wrist mounted grenade launcher was considered for the project, but time constraints and budget cuts made it so these features never saw farther than the drawing board.

That and also Norman wasn't too crazy about the idea…surprisingly…

"How are you holding up Aleksei?", asked Norman

"Not so bad…is it possible for Aleksei to exit suit?", said the man, referring to himself in the third person.

"If you have to use the restroom the suit comes with a built-in waste disposal unit.", replied Norman in a dismissive tone.

"No, Aleksei does not need toilet…perhaps…Aleksei could get…fresh air?...Stretch legs maybe?"

"I'm afraid that's not possible Aleksei…" answered Norman looking at his watch, "…tch I have a meeting in the next twenty minutes…"

"Aleksei…cannot leave?"

"That is correct…"

"But you said-"

"I'm afraid there's been a change of plans Aleksei…what you're wearing is highly advanced state of the art military grade equipment. That equipment just so happens to belong to Oscorp, the company I founded. So, in a sense, you are my property now…"

"You own suit…not Aleksei…"

"Well seeing as we can't get it off of you, you're incorrect. You are the suit now Aleksei, don't you see, you get to be a part of something much greater than yourself, you should feel honored."

"Aleksei cannot get out of suit? Why are you doing this? This is not what Aleksei agreed to!"

The readings on the heart monitor and brainwave reader began to become sporadic. Th suit was technically not even supposed to be able to move right now. Aleksei was willing the suit to life, the synchronization was so perfect, the suit really was a part of him in a sense.

"Marvelous…", mumbled Norman, watching with stary eyes as he witnessed a miracle. 'It's truly amazing what the human brain could accomplish', he thought to himself.

"…alright that's enough…Otto if you would be so kind…"

On queue Otto hit a switch on a remote he had been carrying, once pressed, the suit locked all its joints restricting any and all movement Aleksei had, now only able to grunt in anger.

"Proceed…" demanded Norman

Otto then proceeded to hit a different switch on the remote causing all the machinery surrounding Aleksei to whir to life. All the green lights covering the suit had now morphed into a crimson red, the suits arms and legs extended making the suit appear much large. Steam blew out from two small holes that were supposedly the suits 'nostrils'.

After that, all that could be heard were Aleksei's screams…

Aleksei cried out in terror as the suit itself took control of his body, a large injector spike was jabbed directly into his cerebral cortex. Taking all control of his motor functions. Foaming form the mouth Aleksei was gone, all that remained was the Rhino. In every sense of the word, the suit was now wearing him.

"Aleksei…? Can you hear me?", said Norman

"Yes…", Aleksei responded now devoid of all life

"Who are you Aleksei?"

Aleksei paused for a moment, processing the question that was just asked the same way a search engine loads results.

"Aleksei is a weapon…"

"That's right, and what are weapons used for?", asked Norman with a smile on his face.

"Destroy, conquer, crush, annihilate, eradicate, burn, smash, pulverize, vaporize, kill, maim, eviscerate, decapitate, bludgeon, harm, damage…"

"Thank you, Aleksei, that's enough. I have your first assignment…"

"Awaiting orders…", Aleksei replied robotically

"Order number one, protect Norman Osborn…"

"….Order accepted, order: PROTECT NORMAN OSBORN, initiated…."

"Amazing…we've got our very own Frankenstein's monster. Now then, for your second order…I want you to kill Spiderman…"

"…Order accepted…."

"K.O.! PERFECT!", shouted the TV, as Peter suffered yet another loss to Issei.

"Hey, you alright?", asked Issei, "You're sucking, like, more than usual."

"Peter are you still upset over last night's occurrence?" asked Asia who was also present.

Peter looked over to the USB, or what was left of it, on his desk. Holding on to the sense of incompetence and guilt that was overflowing in his mind.

As Issei followed Peters eyes he realized that his friend was still feeling down over his recent failure. Confirming Asia's theory in the process.

"Hey come on man, these things happen, we'll get another chance!"

"Yea but will we ever get this close again…*sigh*…what am I gonna tell Sona."

"You tell her that it was out of your hands, and that you were attacked by two chicks in cloaks…were they cute?"

Peter simply looked at Issei, with disapproval in his eyes.

"Sorry, sorry bad time…Look what's done is done, and it's not like you can go back in time and fix it. Just focus on figuring out another way to get what we need. Try and take your mind off it. You've been going at it as Spiderman pretty hard lately, so why not just take the day off or something?"

"Issei's right Peter! You shouldn't push yourself so hard, I'm sure that even you are capable of feeling fatigue." Said Asia

Heeding his friend's advice, Peter considered taking some R&R for the first time in his superhero career. It wouldn't be so bad would it, after all it was only one day…

Meanwhile...

Seeing as the school was still under repairs, and surprisingly enough she had a little bit of free time for once, Sona could see to spend it however she saw fit. However, there was just one problem…she didn't know how to spend it. Rias was busy running an errand and the rest of the student council all things that they needed to take care of. Even her Vice president, Tsubaki, was busy.

As Sona sat in her room wondering what to do with the time on her hands, Peter crossed her mind. Perhaps she could call him and ask him if he wanted to hang out, that wasn't weird was it? After all Sona would consider herself friends with Peter, and friends usually called each other to hang out.

Yet Sona could not find the strength to call Peter and ask him four simple words…

"Want to hang out?...ahem…Hi Peter I was wondering since neither of us are busy at the moment…No…I shouldn't assume that he doesn't have plans. Ahem…Hello Peter I was wondering if you'd like to go out today? Nononononononononono! That's far to direct! Um…", as the heiress rehearsed her lines I her head over and over again she couldn't come up with a way to approach Peter, ironically enough she was wasting what little free time she had.

Just then her phone rang, and her heart nearly exploded when she saw who it was. "P-Peter!?", as a reflex she accidentally answered the phone and gasped after realizing what she had done.

"…Hello…? Sona…?", she could hear Peter faintly calling out to her, mustering the courage, Sona finally brought the phone up to her ear.

"Uh…Y-Yes? Who am I speaking with?", said the student council President I her business voice.

"You haven't saved my number yet? Ouch.", joked Peter

"Um no I-I did!", Sona fumbled, completely abandoning the facade

"Oh…well…anyway. I was wondering, if you weren't too busy, that maybe you'd wanna hang out today…Sona?"

"I Uh…Y-Yes! I mean yes."

"Cool! See you at my place in a few?"

"Of course…", with that Sona hung up

"What'd she say?", asked Issei

"She said she would be over in a few. She sounded kinda mad though…hope I wasn't interrupting anything."

"Well, she wouldn't have agreed if she was busy.", said Issei wailing into Peters character on screen.

"Wha-Hey! That's cheating!", Peter shouted, hurriedly grabbing his controller.

Sona couldn't believe her luck; Peter had asked her to come over. Immediately the heiress went through her closet to scrounge up something that was acceptable.

As she swung her closet doors open, all she was greeted with was her school uniform and her tracksuit. Accompanied by a few plain t-shirts and sweats. Those wouldn't do…she searched and searched hoping to find something that wouldn't make her look to boring but at the same time wouldn't make it look like she tried too hard.

Eventually she settled on a light blue sundress, that fit her petite form perfectly. Her excitement knew no bounds, Sona couldn't remember the last time she was this excited…not that it was a bad thing.

Meanwhile on the other side of town, Koneko was experiencing a similar predicament, she had never wanted a boy's approval of anything let alone her looks. Peter was different however, she found herself thinking about him a lot more often than before. In the short time that she'd been spying on him and discovered that he was Spiderman, she learned quite a bit about him.

At first his constant trips to the bathroom made her pity the bookworm, she soon discovered that this was the closest place he could change discreetly. Peter wasn't like the other boys at Kuoh, he was the complete opposite of Issei, and yet they got along splendidly. From a distance they appeared like siblings, their friendship puzzled Koneko, unsure as to how two wildly different personalities could mesh so well.

Peter never stared at any of the girls, nor at President Rias or Akeno. Sure, whenever they would pass by, he would glance at them, but that was it. He would always have his head buried in a book, and every time he looked like he was having so much fun. Like the rest of the world didn't exist and it was just him and that collection of words printed onto paper.

His fascination with the world of science was endearing, as time went on however, Koneko noticed something more.

…His conviction…

Peter never once faltered or wavered inhis resolve to do the right thing, something which captivated her greatly.

…and perhaps…she was starting to feel something more for him. She had an idea of what it was, but she didn't want to jump to any conclusions.

Suddenly Koneko's train of thought was violently halted when she saw Sona in a light blue sundress across from her. Both ladies directly outside of Peter's house.

"Ms. Sitri…? What are you doing here?", Koneko asked, surprised

"Oh well you see…", Sona went on to explain that Peter had invited her out today, much to Sona's surprise Koneko stated that she too was invited by Peter. It would seem that the two girls would not be getting some alone time with Peter…what a shame…

"Well perhaps he had mean to invite the both of us today…", Sona said nervously

"That idiot…", Koneko mumbled

"Um…Sorry Ms. Toujou, I didn't catch tha-"

"It was nothing let's head inside…", Koneko was the first to walk up to Peter's doorstep and stop at the porch with Sona not far behind. She glanced at Sona behind her who was making some last-minute adjustments. Dusting off her dress, fixing her hair as best she could and cleaning her glasses.

It made Koneko feel a little self-conscious to say the least. What would Peter say about her outfit? Would he even notice? Koneko also began to make sure she was looking up to par.

Her attire consisted of a sundress as well only it cut off just above the knees, whereas Sona's cut off just below them. Her dress was black with white frills adjoined to the seams, her waist and shoulders being the most prominent areas.

Taking a deep breath, Koneko readied herself and reached out to press the doorbell. Only she stopped when she saw Sona's finger reaching out as well.

To avoid a collision both girls stopped and waited for the other to press it, and just when it seemed like the other would yield, they both went for it again.

Alas Sona yielded, "Please, go ahead Ms. Toujou...", she said calmly

"Y-Yeah…thanks…", without further delay Koneko pressed the doorbell, hearing it echo on the inside of the house.

After a few seconds the door opened both girls were ready and waiting to see Peter's face, only to be met with Issei's.

"Oh! Hey! You guys made it.", both girls were taken aback but quickly recovered

"M-Mr. Hyodou?", stuttered Sona, thinking for a second that maybe she had the wrong address. Her doubts were quickly swayed as she saw Peter and Asia coming into to view behind Issei.

"Sorry…", Peter spoke up, "…I forgot to mention that Issei and Asia would be coming along. I hope you guys don't mind…"

Koneko and Sona both stared at Peter, a bit annoyed, a bit disappointed, and a mild sense of wanting to call him an idiot. Fortunately, these urges were pushed aside, spending time with Peter was a treat but spending time with a group of friends wasn't too bad either.

"I have no problem with it whatsoever, the more the merrier as they say…"

"…Yea its whatever…I don't mind.", said Koneko pouting

"Great! Let's get going then!"

On the walk over to whatever café or diner the group settled on Sona brought up how unusual it was for Peter to actually take some time for himself.

"Well Asia and Issei talked me into it, and I figured it wouldn't hurt to take at least one day off."

"Is that so? Well, I may be inclined to agree with you. You have been pushing yourself lately, and that last scuffle with…whatever that was back at the school looked like it really took it out of you. By the way, how are you feeling?"

"I already told you I was fine.", Peter chuckled," If there were any side effects, I would've felt them by now."

"Hows your investigation going regarding Osborn?", asked Koneko

Issei quickly cut in between Peter and Koneko draping his arms around both of them, "Hey come on now, today is our day off! So no talking about work, demons, superheroes, or anything of the sort! Now find something else to talk about.", Issei detached himself from the two but only after shoving them together, causing the small cat girl to blush…

"Sorry about him heh heh…", Peter chuckled nervously not noticing the ever-growing red shade on Koneko's face.

"I-Its fine…", she stammered

Meanwhile…

On the other side of town, a mugging was taking place, some poor woman had the misfortune of encountering one of Kuoh's miscreants on the way to her second job.

"I'm not gonna tell you again bitch just hand it over and I won't put one between your eyes!"

"O-Okay just don't hurt p-please!"

As the thug snatched the woman's purse out of her hands, he emptied its contents on the ground. Rummaging through her things while still lazily aiming his pistol at her, the thug became angered when all he found were a measly twelve dollars.

"Are you fucking kidding me!", he shouted in anger, saliva spraying from his mouth, "Twelve fucking dollars!?"

"I-I'm sorry it's all I have!"

"To hell with this…", the man cocked the hammer back and placed the barrel ten inches from the woman's face.

She felt her heart skip a beat, "N-no please…don't…", she struggled to get the words out, a knot forming in her throat and tears welling up in her eyes. Was this it? Murdered in some cold dark alley, by a complete stranger who reeked of cigarettes and alcohol.

"You saw my face lady…guess you were just unlucky…"

Just before she thought it was all over. Both the woman and the thug felt an overwhelming presence behind them.

The thug turned around ready to fire at whatever made the hairs on his neck stand up. As soon as he turned, all he saw was black, it wasn't that his vision had failed him, and it was still mid-day out.

No, the figure in front of him was adorned in all black, as he looked up to find its face, he realized that he kept looking upwards, telling himself that he should've found its head by now.

A skull, a flaming skull…looking down at him

Wasting no time, the thug began emptying his mag on the tall skeleton man. The woman crouched down and covered her ears, terrified by the experience.

The gun clicked as all the rounds had been fired into the Rider, holes were apparent o his body only to be fade due to his regeneration.

The Rider smacked the gun out of the thug's hand with such force a meaty pop could be heard from the crook's wrist.

As the thug knelt down and grabbed his wrist in pain, the rider kicked him over so that he was now laying on his back.

Stomping down on his sternum to pin him to the ground, with one look the Rider flashed his penance stare.

In an instant it was over, it went quiet, the woman opened her eyes to see what had transpired. She saw the thug on the ground mumbling to himself in the fetal position, along with the Rider still present. She gasped as she laid eyes on her supposed savior, taking in every feature, she was speechless as to what she was looking at.

The Rider turned to look at the woman, causing her to shiver a bit, seeing that she was unharmed the rider turned around and simply left. Leaving the woman alone with her mugger who was no longer a threat.

Catching the eye of every pedestrian on the street, the Rider casually walked through the streets of Kuoh hoping to find it hoping to find him.

His search for Kokabiel was nearing its end…

The group settled on an ice cream parlor, seated in a booth near the entrance of the parlor, Sona, Koneko, and Peter continued to discuss what had happened the night the USB was destroyed. While Asia and Issei went to grab everyones frozen treats.

"I see, your investigation has hit a wall. I can understand your frustrations, Peter but dwelling on it won't get you anywhere. Perhaps you could utilize Harry Osbo-"

"No…", Peter said sharply cutting her off, "…I can't do that to Harry…I won't do that to Harry. The way Harry lives, it shouldn't be the way anyone has to live. He has enough to deal with, I don't want to betray him like that…"

"Then how else are you going to proceed with the investigation? You don't have to necessarily lie to Harry. Just try explaining things to him, maybe then he'll see reason. He doesn't seem like a bad person, so I'm sure you could convince him that what his father is doing is wrong.", suggested Koneko

"You know you've gotten a lot more talkative lately…its nice makes you less scary.", Peter would regeret uttering these words as soon as Koenkos foot met his shin, the sharp reverberating through out his body.

"Idiot…", she mumbled turning her head away in embarrassment

"I-In any case…", Peter said holding onto his leg, "…Ill figure something out…something that doesn't involve Harry…I swear on it…"

Sona and Koneko simply stared at Peter, "Very well…", added Sona, "…If you feel that you have things under control then so be it."

"…Just don't try to do everything yourself again…", said Koneko

OKAY!", cheered Issei as he and Asia had returned, "…Instead of getting everyone individual cones, I got us…THIS!" Issei had brandished a massive ice cream sundae, adorned with all types of sweet fruits and different flavors. Chocolate sauce coated the top of this desert, some of it dripping dow the sides and covering the scoops below. It was truly a sight to behold…

"This…looks expensive…", said Peter in a worried tone, "…also, that a lot of ice cream, are you sure about this?"

"Oh Pete, always to scared to just dive headfirst into things, you don't have to be cautious about everything old friend. Besides if we manage to eat it all, we'll only be paying less than half for it…unless…', A wide grin appeared on Issei's face, "…you're scared?..."

"Issei, come on, I'm not scared of ice cream it's just…"

"*sniff* *sniff* You guys smell that?", everyone followed Issei's lead and began sniffing the air, wondering what it was that he caught a whiff of.

"I don't smell anything…", responded Asia

"I smell a wuss…", Isseis grin had reached maximum smug levels, "…oh well it can't be helped, don't worry Peter ill go order a single scoop for you, since that's more your pace."

Having heard enough of his friends insults and wanting to wipe that irritating grin off his face, Peter rose to the challenge. He stood up from the booth and slammed his hands onto the table, all the while shooting a glare at Issei, "…Fine, you wanna go!? Hand me a spoon, I bet I could eat this thing all by myself anyway!"

"Ohh is that a challenge sir Parker?", Issei's grin was really starting to get on Peter's nerves, "…very well, allow me to show you my true power!"

As both boys got a hold of a spoon, they began scarfing down ice cream like their lives depended on it. Pushing through brain freezes and a nauseous feeling that was gradually getting worse, the spider and the dragon pressed on. Neither one would falter in their resolve, they had a fire in their eyes, int their souls! A fire that could only be put out with an ice-cold delicious sundae.

"I…I thought we were going to share that, is it even safe to eat that much ice cream?", wondered Sona as she observed the events unfolding before her.

Asia simply let out a nervous chuckle, while Koneko was watching in horror as all that ice cream went to waste, "…Idiots…"

Meanwhile...

Kuoh City Bank

Things were quiet during the mid-day hours of the bank. The two guards at the front would people watch as some regulars came in and the occasional new face would stop by. Shooing away the homeless and glaring at any suspicious individuals. If their glares weren't enough to deter any potential crimes than their 12 gauges would make anyone think twice.

"You catch the game last night?", asked one guard to the other," Nah, this overtime has been keeping me busy lately, as soon as I get home, I just crash onto my bed."

"Jeez, sounds rou-"

Before the guard could finish his sentence, a man in red and blue spandex dropped down in front of the two.

"What the…Spider-man?"

Surely enough, Spider-man was standing before the two eyeing them both up, 'those guns would prove to be a problem' he thought to himself.

"Is…Is this the real Spider-man though?", one of the guards thought aloud

"How many other freaks do you know that dress up in red and blue tights?"

"No its just…he looks a little too tall…"

"How the hell would you know?"

"My sons a huge Spiderman fan so he has all these newspaper clippings of him all over his room…Oh yeah that reminds me!"

The guard walked over to Spiderman and brandished a pen and notepad, "My kid would kill me if he found I talked to Spiderman and didn't get his autograph, I hope you don't mind but could y-OOOUGHF"

Spidey had kicked the guard through the bank doors causing them to fly open…

"What the hell!?", the other guard took aim at the wallcrawler with his shotgun, but the web head was already on him. Spidey smacked the gun out of his hands and slammed his fist right into the side of his jaw, knocking him out cold.

Spidey stepped over him and casually walked into the bank, the other guard left winded and immobile from the kick Spidey had delivered earlier.

"Alright everyone!", Spidey shouted, his voice echoing throughout the bank,"…as long as you all follow my directions, you can get to go home today…"

Uuugh…", Peter groaned

"D-did I win?", Issei muttered, the nauseous feeling I his gut worsening.

"Um…I'm not sure…", Asia, the poor girl, was fanning Issei as best she could. She wasn't sure if telling him that it came down to a draw would make him feel worse.

"I'm…never *belch* ugghh…eating ice cream…again…", groaned Peter once more, clutching his stomach

"I don't know what you two expected. Eating that much ice cream would never have ended well for anyone.", said Sona dabbing Peter's forehead with a cloth.

"Issei? Would you like to use my lap as a pillow? Perhaps laying down wou-"

"Yes.", in what must've been record time, Issei nestled into Asia's lap. Rubbing his cheek against her soft pale thighs. The nausea was still present, but this lap pillow was doing wonders to make him forget about it. Not only this but Asia began petting his head like a child, Issei was in bliss.

"Asia *sniff* you're so nice…", said Issei with tears streaming down his face.

Both Koneko and Sona felt left behind, shocked and also impressed with how bold Asia was. They couldn't just stand by as Peter suffered.

"Peter if you want you can…", Koneko and Sona said in unison

Both girls stared at each other in shock, but their shock soon turned into determination.

"Wha…what did you guys say?", said Peter, still reeling from the ball of frozen dairy in his gut.

"I-If you'd like y-you can use my lap as a p-pillow as well", said Sona, trying not to run out of the parlor from sheer embarrassment.

"I-If you want Peter, you can use my lap too!', said Koneko, now beet red

"I can't…run any laps right now…", Peter groaned

Peter had been sitting in between both girls so for him, escape was near impossible. Both Koneko and Sona grabbed onto an arm, not yielding to the others advances.

"P-Peter you're unwell, please lay down…", said Sona tugging Peter towards her, trying to force a smile.

"President Sona, you must be tired from working all the time, dotn worry about Peter I'll take care of him.", Koenko began pulling Peter towards her

"No, its quite alright, really! I don't mind at all…"

"I insist…", grumbled Koneko

"Peter can lay on my lap, its really no bother!"

"On the contraire, you're my senior, I wouldn't want to burden you with this…so…please…let…go…"

"I said…it…was…fine…", said Sona trying to remain polite

Peter however was on the verge of blowing chunks from being pulled side to side.

"…hurl…", Peter mumbled

Both girls stopped to listen to him

"What was that Peter?', asked Sona

"…gonna…"

Koneko leaned in closer, "Speak up we can't hear you…"

Peter leapt out from between them, across the table, and ran into the men's room. Both girls now realized what Peter was trying to say…

"We're so sorry Peter, I should've known better than to jerk you around so much!", Sona kept bowing her head hoping that Peter would forgive her.

"I guess…we did get a little carried away…sorry…", Koneko pouted

"You guys don't have to apologize, it was initially my fault for eating so much…", Peter shivered, "…Ice cream…"

Issei rose up from his lap pillow and stretched his arms, "…I don't know about you Pete but I'm feeling much better, thanks to Asia."

While much fainter, Issei's smug face was still present, making Peter pinch the bridge of his nose and sigh in defeat.

"Ha I knew that spider guy was too good to be true…", one of the patrons of the parlor said aloud.

"Just when I was starting to like him too, guess he's just another nut in a costume after all, and to think my daughter looked up to this guy."

Peter and the others noticed that there were a group of people around the TV in the ice cream parlor. Making their way over they saw that they were watching the news. From the looks of things, a bank had just been robbed.

"S-Sorry what was that you were saying about Spiderman earlier?", Peter asked one of the people watching the TV.

"It turns out he's no good! That's what I was saying."

"W-What do you mean?", Peter was used to people hating his alter ego by now, but something about it this time felt…different.

"Turns out the web head was short on cash and stormed Kuoh bank.", said one of the other patrons

"But…that can't be true…", said Asia

The news anchor on the scene had asked one of the guards for an interview, sure enough he agreed.

"Yea it was definitely the bug, socked across the jaw and knocked me flat! He even broke a few of my partners ribs after he kicked him through the doors. I away knew he was bad news…"

"…And there you have it ladies and gentlemen…", said the news anchor, "…Spiderman who had shown up two years prior and claimed to be a crime fighter, now robbing banks! Some are saying that this Spiderman is a fake, regardless, it seems like there's another villain on the streets of Kuoh. Back to you Tom…"

Peter couldn't believe what he was hearing…he had worked so hard to get the people of this city to trust him and now some faker was going around ruining his reputation.

"Peter I…Peter?", Sona looked around for Peter, yet he was nowhere to be seen.

Koneko, Issei, and Issei caught on and noticed Peters absence as well.

"Pete?", said Issei, noticing that the doors of the parlor had just closed. "Pete!"

Issei ran out of the Parlor hoping to catch Peter before he went off on his own.

Scanning the street and the crowds of people walking, Peter was long gone…

'I'm such an idiot', Peter thought to himself, pulling down his mask. He leaped into the air and fired his web shooters.

"What is wrong with me!? I'm Spiderman for crying out loud! I should've known better…", Peter made his way towards Kuoh City Bank, hoping to find some clues about his doppelganger. Feeling immense guilt over the fact that he sat idly by as a crime was committed, in his name no less, he raced to the bank hoping to make some sort of amends.

"…I don't get to have days off…"
