"You know why I'm here, Kusanagi," said Raven while standing before the sword and glaring it down.

"I do, you're here to try and break the curse that your ancestor put on me, but we both know that you don't have the power needed to do that," said Kusanagi.

"How about we put that to the test!" said Raven before releasing her magical energy, allowing it to create a barrier around her that fed out into the darkness around her.

"Your power has grown since you were five, but it's not enough to stop me from taking hold of you," said Kusanagi as it's aura turned into tendrils that began to worm their way through Raven's Aura.

"My mother tried to force me to take you back then, but even at five I was strong enough to hold you off, that's why I became nothing like her," said Raven. The tendrils were burning as they tried to make their way deeper into her aura.

"You managed to get away because I allowed you to, I just wanted to see what you could do later on in your life," said Kusanagi.

"But even now you are nothing to me!" said the sword. By now the tendrils were in striking distance from Raven.

"You may think I'm nothing, but it's a good thing that I'm not fighting you alone then!" said Raven with a smile as the color of her magic began to change to more of an orchid shade.

"You… your magic has changed?!" asked Kusanagi as the bits of the tendrils in the magic burnt instantly, causing the rest of the tendrils to withdraw.

"I'm never alone, there are members of my family who stand behind me and I also have all of my friends who have put all of their trust into me!" said Raven as her magical power increased to the point that the entire space was taken over. Back in the real world, an orchid colored light had begun to radiate from a bag Headmaster Grimm had slung over his shoulder.

"She did it," he said while pulling the Storybook of Legends from the bag. The book was then turned to dust as Raven stopped her spell while collapsing to one knee.

"Raven, are you alright?" asked Apple while she knelt down to check on her.

"I've never felt better," said Raven as she looked at the Kusanagi which was now engulfed in the same color aura as her magic.

"Now then, it's time to get ready, because we're taking the fight to Daring," she said as she stood to look at the others who were grinning at the sound of this.
