Sneaking out of the Casita was harder than they expected. Julieta was up most of the hours of the night. She kept making the trip from her room to Camilo's. Isabela had also been asked to make another batch of cream. Julieta was determined to heal Camilo's face completely.

It wasn't until a little bit before dusk they could sneak out. Luisa, Dolores, and Isabela tried to sneak through the dark halls. The casita seemed to be on their side since it stood still. They were almost at the stairs when they heard a voice.

"Hold up," Camilo said. "I'm coming."

The trio of girls turned around. "I thought mama put you on bed rest," Isabela stated.

"She did, but I'm feeling fine," Camilo insisted. "I've tried telling Tia Juileta and papa that. Back to what I was saying. I'm coming with you guys. That's my mama you guys are searching for."

"How do you know what we're going?" Dolores asked.

"The rats heard you talking earlier," Camilo whispered. "They told Antonio, who then told me."

"It doesn't matter how you know," Luisa said. "You're not going. We're leaving the Encanto. We don't know how long we'll be gone. You're still technically injured. We can't risk you getting an infection."

As dusk entered the sky, their window of opportunity closed. Soon, the rest of the family would wake. If they didn't leave now, they'd have to wait all day. The ground under their feet began to rumble. The casita pushed Camilo back into his room. "Thanks, Casita," Dolores said. The Casita quickly ushered them out.

The trio of women started climbing out of the mountain. Dolores started trying to hear her mother's voice. They didn't know to what extent their powers would work outside of the Encanto.

Once they were over the mountain, they spotted something in the distance. In the distance, there was a small patch of rain.
