Hey guys I'm back with a new chapter for My hero Apprenticeship. I don't really have much to say other than I'm sorry from the long wait. my computer shit the bed and it wasn't fun trying to get all my data back from the Hard drives. well I hope you enjoy this chapter!
He opened his eyes and he's met with a pitch black world once again. He slowly looked down at his body and saw that it was all black smoke other than his head. He tried to reach up and feel for his mouth, however nothing moves at all. He tried to take a step forward with his non-existent legs but all it does it shift his shadowy body slightly forward. The only thing he was able to do is swivel his head around to look at the empty room.
It was then he heard in the distance a door slam shut. The sound echoing throughout the empty space. However it appeared to get louder before just stopping abruptly. Another sound replaced the door slamming, soft footsteps slowly got louder. After just a few seconds he could saw a figure start to take shape in the distance, the figure slowly got bigger.
Now standing in front of him, for what felt like hours was in reality just a few seconds, was a young man in his late twenties. Similar pale blonde hair like kaa- Bakugo. He cut himself off from his monologue for a moment to fix his mistake. The man's sharp red eyes stared him directly in his own. His face was pronounced with a large scar the started above his left eye then went down almost to the opposite corner lip.
A scowl present on his face as he looked at Izuku in his pseudo shadow form. His eyes analytical of the pale skinned man. The man was wearing a full black outfit almost remincient of Eraserheads one. The only big thing that was different was the large boxy silver gauntlets that were on his arms and the jacket that hung off his large shoulders.
The man came up and stopped just a few feet away from him. The scowl on his face never left.
"So your number nine?" he asked as if we was expecting an answer. However when he didn't get one he sighed. "It's still too early for you. But at least I can talk with you." He man said while running his hand through his hair. He reached back and pulled out a chair from nowhere and sat down.
"Alright kid, I'm going to be straight up with you, overall I don't like you." He said with his face set dead straight. "You are young, naïve, weak, inexperienced, reckless, and unaware of your surroundings. Don't even get me started on your mumbling kid. However, that's you right now." He said. He closed his eyes as he continued.
"The only thing I like about you is your will." He said as he opened his eyes and looked directly at him. "You've shown me that you have more drive than anyone to be a true heir, especially with that explanation." The words left the man's mouth as he got up from the chair, it crumbling into shadows of the world.
"Remember the power you felt when you threw that ball?" he was up in his face now. "You know you can at least nod your head kid." Izuku quickly nodded his head to the man.
"Good, well that throw was what Yagi Toshinori, All Might, could throw a ball when he was in his prime." He dropped that piece of information for the young hero to digest. "What's better, that's only a fraction of what you'll truly be able to do once you've been able to adapt to the power. What you used in that throw was what you could use at an absolute maximum for power. At least that what we all thought." He turned away from the boy as he continued to talk.
'We all? Who else watched?' Izuku tried to ask but nothing came from him so the man continued.
"We were all really surprised to find out that you naturally limited yourself to only a small portion of your power, that's equivalent to All Might in his prime." The man stopped and turned back to the boy.
"Boy, I don't think you realize, you hold the most power of all of the nine holders and it will only get stronger from here as you learn to control and harness this power and the ones that are going to come with it." There was a loud beep in the shadowy world as the vision started to dissipate.
"It seems like we're out of time." The man said. "Three things kid." He said as we walked forward till he was right in front of him, while holding up three fingers.
"No matter how much I dislike you, you are the currently wielder so it would only slow your growth and secure the victory of the Villain you are made to fight. So I first must thank you for the power that you've given me." A small smile appeared on his face. As a green flame appeared in his hand
'I gave him a… power?' he thought, his eyes widened.
"As such I will give you my name, ?! #! # !?# ." A frown appeared on his face when he said his name. The widened eyes on the young boy seemed to help him understand that he didn't get any of that.
"It seems it's still too early for you to know my name. Anyhow, you can just call me Dragon for now. I will take this power you've given me and learn all I can from it." He said as he closed his fist and the fire went out in his hand. With that the world started to fade black completely as the beeping starting to get louder. He heard through the beeps as darkness filled his vision.
"Could you at least change the world to something better than complete darkness?" it was a question that would never get answered as a bright light enveloped his vision.
The man watched the boy fade away after the comment he made. He sighed as he looked back at the door that he came out of further away from where he just talked to the boy. He walked slowly to the door before opening it and entering into the room attached to the door.
"So what do you think of the boy?" a voice asked him from the room.
Izuku's eyes burst open as he woke up by the incessant beeping of his alarm. He could feel the power for One for All flowing through him. Sweat poured all over his body as he tried desperately to slow his beating heart. The world feels like it's slow to move around him as he started taking deep breaths to slow his breathing. His head was hazy from the dream he'd woken up from.
His heart slowly started to level out as he closed his eyes. After a few minutes of deep breaths he finally got his heart at a steady pace. Letting out one last breath he opened his eyes to stare at the ceiling. The darkness of his room encompassed his vision as he stared up into it. Slowly he tried to sit up only for his body to protest. He groans loudly as he feels how sore his body is.
Eventually after he tried a few times, he's able to sit up fully.
"I gave him power?" he asked himself softly. He shook his head as he looks over at his alarm clock.
4:04 AM
He sighed to himself. An early morning again for him as it has been the last ten months. The young boy had let the sheets fall from his body. He swung his legs off the bed letting the sheet drag with his legs. He'll clean them up later. His hand went out and taps the snooze button on the clock itself.
Yawning as he started to wipe the sleep from his eyes. He felt the cool wind from the winter months on his bare upper body. Letting his arms fall to his side as he went to his window and closed it. Walking out of his room he makes his way to the bathroom. His feet softly padding across the cold wooden floors of his home. Finally he got to the bathroom he knocked to make sure his mother isn't in there. After not hearing anything he pushed the door open and found it empty.
He takes a step into the room and turns on the light, blinding himself slightly. After it took a moment for his eyes to adjust he looked at himself in the mirror and sighed. Looking back at him isn't the Izuku from ten months ago. This one is basically jacked. He also noticed he's started to grow taller. His muscles were defined very well, it gave him an almost Adonis look for his height. Despite this he always felt like he was leagues behinds all others so he's going to continue to push himself till he's well past the current number one.
Running his hand through his fluffy green hair as he started to brush his teeth. He brings his hand down to scratch his chest. In the last week he's been feeling really hot when going to bed so he'd started to just sleep with some pajama pants on so he doesn't over heat. Despite that he's still been sweating every night.
Spitting out the toothpaste and he took a swig of mouthwash and swished it around in his mouth. He looked up from where he spit into his face and could see the tired eyes. It's been a rough week. It definitely been the hell that Nezu promised. He grimaced as he remembered the plan he was given on how the next few years of his life were going to be.
"Then, Izuku Midoriya, Welcome to you Hero Apprenticeship, and your personal hell." Nezu said with a wide smile. However the last part of the comment caused Izuku to freeze.
"What?" he said
"Oh sorry you can ignore that comment." He said with a big smile as everyone around him sweat dropped at that. The boy looked at him with a confused look on his face.
"What do you mean my personal hell?" Izuku asked scared but needing to know from the small animal in front of him.
"Well let's just say this Izuku, your way too weak and inexperienced to even be thinking of going on patrol with a real hero." He said bluntly without missing a beat. The boy looked at him hurt but let him continue knowing that there was more to what he was saying. "So as such we are going to need a little time before we send you off to patrol with a hero!" he said as he smiled even bigger.
"As such I've devised a plan for you to be able to be the best version of you possible and get you ready to go out and patrol with heroes from all over. So first off there is one thing I need from you and your mother. So I'm glad you brought her along." The small rat thing pulled out a small stack of papers from his vest.
"These are the papers to pull your son out of Alderia High School." With that both the Midoriya's gawked at the mammal. "To make sure Izuku he is able to become the most powerful we need to make sure he has all the time he needs for his apprenticeship. As such I will need to pull him out of school." Inko looked at the small rat thing and could only worry.
"So if you're pulling him out of school, what are we going to do about his classes and such?" she asked with worry prevalent in her voice.
"Do not worry about that madam, I have that all figured out." The principle responded with a smile. "I've seen your son's grades and can easily tell he is one if not the smartest student at the school he goes to. However I've noticed a few things on his record that confused me that I'll need to take a better look into." He said.
"Besides that point, I will be taking over the boy's education. We will meet two times a week for a six hour class session to go over everything he would have missed in his last half a year of middle school and all of high school." He finished as he raised a paw into the air. With that Izuku's eyes widened as he heard that.
"You can't be serious. I'M GOING TO LEARN BY NEZU! A PRO HERO!" he yelled into the night. "YES!"
"Yes, Yes. Be excited, however know that these lessons will be the hardest you've ever had. We are also going to be going over your Hero Analysis books. They intrigue me and I'd like to pick your brain about a few things." He said with a small smile. "Well besides that it seems to be getting really dark now, I think we should move this conversation to a more indoor area with light so we can continue our conversation."
"Yes we should, we can go to our home for now, and it's not too far, maybe twenty minutes." Inko asked from where she was standing. All of them nodded slowly as they slowly clambered in the dark to the cars that were parked. Inko grabbed a spare hoodie for Izuku so he didn't freeze himself even though they would be getting into the cars really soon.
Izuku took a deep breath as he rested into the car's seat. Finally after almost a good half an hour of a rollercoaster of emotions before he got even a little moment to get his thoughts straight. He brought his hand up and ran it through his green locks. The rumble of the car as it made its way home slowly lulled him to sleep.
His mother looked at him with a soft smile as a soft snore came from the young boy. Brought a smile to her face as she drives them home. After just a short twenty minute drive she pulled her car into its assigned spot in the parking lot. She reaches over to the young boy and shakes him awake.
Green eyes slowly opened to the world around him. He realized that he fell asleep in the car ride home the boys bolted up and looks around rapidly.
"Where are we?" he asked as he heard the soft snort from his mother with a small smile.
"We are back home sweetie." She said with a soft voice. She opened her door before gesturing for him to get out. He nodded before opening his door and getting out. He closed it with a thud before looking to see All Might, Nezu, Eraserhead, the old man, and Recovery Girl.
"Holy shit, it wasn't a dream." He wasn't one to really use profanity but he felt like this moment was deemed worthy.
"Izuku! Language!" he heard his mother say form somewhere behind him. He winced slightly and then bashfully scratched the back of his head. The heroes around him just chuckled slightly as they followed the family of two up to their apartment. They made their way to the door before following them through the threshold.
Coming into the modest home, the heroes were met with a small hallways that had four doors in it, two on the right and one on the left and one at the end of the hall. The walls were painted a soft cream brown and were sparsely covered. Just a single photo hung on the wall to the right of the walk in space. The first door on the right was a plain brown door with an All Might themes placard with 'Izuku' written on it.
A soft chuckle came from the No.1 as he saw that on Izuku's door. The boy blushed softly as he rubbed his neck meekly.
"You weren't kidding kid." All Might said with mirth present in his voice. Izuku could have sworn he heard a groan from the back of the group. He however tuned that one out as he mumbled to the hero.
"I've always admired you." The boy was looking at the floor at this point. The blush was absolutely atomic and was just got brighter. Everyone sweat dropped at how bright this boy had got. Looking away from the blushing boy the group saw another door down the way that they could only assume was Inko's door for her bed room. Then on the other side of the hallway in the dead center was a door with panels on it. This one was the one they were being lead to by Inko and Izuku. At the end of the hall was another door, painted white. They could only assume this one was the bathroom.
When the two Midoriya opened the door and entered the rest of the group followed. They were eventually met with a simple living room, dining room, and kitchen mix. The right side was the kitchen and it had a small counter top separating it from the rest of the room. The dinner room had a small wooden dining table and four chair. The living room was just a simple loveseat couch and two chairs. A small coffee table and a TV finished off the living room. Nothing major a few bookshelves and pictures here and there decorated the walls of the room.
"Would anyone like some tea?" Inko asked as she gestured to the couch. "You all can take some seats there. Izuku can you get some of the dining chairs for us to sit in." She asked
"Yes Mom." He said as he went to complete the task asked of him.
"Yes we would love to have some tea, whatever you have is fine." Nezu said with a small smile as he climbed onto the couch. All Might and Aizawa sat next to him. The old man and Recovery Girl took the two chairs already in the living room. Izuku quickly completed the task given to him by his mother and went to the kitchen to help with preparing the tea.
"Would anyone like some snacks?" he asked from the kitchen as his mother had just finished up with the tea.
"Yes please, some taiyaki if you have some." The old man said with a wide smile. Izuku chuckled as he had some in the freezer. He went and proceeded to heat them up in the microwave. He heard them all softly talking amongst themselves as he finished with the pastries, making sure they were plenty hot.
Walking out into the living room he places the plate on the coffee table in the room and watched as the old man reached over and bite into one. After a moment he's down an entire one before he took another. This caused everyone to sweat drop.
"Wait, who are you?" Izuku proceeded to ask as he watched the old man eat. He didn't ask who he was this entire time. He felt like an idiot for he hadn't asked his name.
"Oh me…" the man stopped as he was about to take a bite. However instead of answering immediately he waited, and waited. For almost a whole two minutes before he answered. "I don't know." That caused everyone crumbled from that answer. The old man just ignored them all and continued eating.
"What do you mean you don't know?" Izuku asked. However the old man was completely ignored him now and just eating. Hummed softly to a tune that only he could hear. Izuku could only face palm as he looked around to all their heroes in his home right now. He watched as Nezu took a long sip before a sigh left his lips.
"Thank you very much for the tea Mrs. Midoriya. It's very delicious." He said.
"Actually its Ms. I'm divorced from my Ex-husband." She said. She looked down to her hand.
"oh." Was all the small mammal said before he continued. "Well anyway, it's time for us to continue our conversation we were having earlier." He said with a hum.
"I'd first off like to say this. As I said earlier, you are not even close to ready to go out on patrol with any type of pro hero." He restated what he had already said earlier. "As such we will be giving you a month or so of hellish training to get you up to speed." He said. This caused Izuku to look at him.
"So what will the training consist of?" Izuku asked as he took a sip of the tea.
"Well first off you will be continuing with your physical training. You will be given a workout regime that you must follow to the tea every day, no matter what you did during the day. It will also include what to eat and such. Make sure you follow that and do not veer off it at all. Recovery Girl will be making it to fit your body and help build up your body to handle the power of One for All." The small mammal said.
"Wait hold up." Izuku started. "This is something I meant to ask earlier, but how do you know about One for All?" he asked. "Do all of you know of it?"
"Yes, they all do." All Might answered. "Nezu was one of the first I told, I trusted him with my secret because of our history together. Recovery Girl has known for most of the time I've had it. She was the one to perform all the surgeries on me all those years ago. Gran Torino, that old koot over there has known of the power since my master took it. He was the one to train me." He said to the two Midoriya's.
"Then just this morning Aizawa was told about this because he was brought in for you." He said.
"For me?" Izuku asked another question.
"Yes but we will get to it later. But yes, he was brought into the fold just for you." All Might finished, motioning with his hand for Nezu to continue.
"Thank you All Might. Yes as we said we all know of the power and I assume your mother knows?" the smart animal asked.
"Yes, I told her everything I know. I felt like she deserved to know what I was doing, and the dangers that I will be facing." Izuku told them. "I'm sorry for telling someone without asking you All Might."
"Midoriya, it's all right, it's actually good you told someone. It's not good to hold a secret like this in for your whole life. It makes everything you hold slightly easier. You just have to be careful of who you tell. You must have the absolute trust in them that they will keep it a secret." All might warned the young boy.
"Yes Sir." He answered the man. A smile broke out on All Might face as he said that.
"Now back to what we were talking about." Nezu said. "Recovery Girl will create your training plan tomorrow after you come to UA for a checkup. She has to see where you are now and your current max."
"I get to go to UA again!" Izuku exclaimed
"Yes you will, and you'll have to go to UA for my lessons. They will happen at least two times a week in my office. They will be happening in the afternoon right as the students are getting out for the day." He said. Inko looked worried for a moment.
"What are we going to do about food and the workout schedule? He doesn't have a beach to continue to work out. Also he's been eating a lot more so it's been putting us closer to the red." She asked as she put her palm to her cheek.
"Well I'm glad you asked and brought this to my attention." Nezu said. "For the work out regime, that's easy. Since he'll be coming to UA as often as he is, he's going to get his own pass. So he'll have access to the gym on campus for his own use. He'll have full access to that and any of the training gyms so he can practice his quirk on his own." The small mammal said to Inko and Izuku.
"Since you brought up the topic of food. Since you said it'll be putting you in the red. I will personally buy you all the food that he will need to build himself up. Also all the protein and pre-workout also. I want to make sure that he's built up the best he can so he can handle this quirk to its fullest and achieve his dream. He'll also be allowed to use the cafeteria on campus" The mammal finished and Inko looked on with tears in her eyes and a small smile.
"Wait, I don't want to push off your generosity, but, that seems like a lot of money to put on a kid. There has to be something else apart of this." Izuku said as he looked at Nezu.
"Yes there is, Very astute of you." The mammal said to them before taking a sip of his tea. "I do want one thing from you though as a sort of payment." He stopped for a moment to let it sink in.
"I'm going to have you as a Teachers Assistant for the new first years when they come in." he said as Izuku did a spit take of the tea he was drinking.
"What do you mean, I'll be a TA?" he asked confused as hell.
"As I said, you'll be a TA, work with the new students and teach them along with Eraserhead and Vlad King. Of course this will be only when you have time from your apprenticeship. That take precedence over this of course." He said with a smile. He put his cup down and tried to reach for the teapot on the table. He was having trouble because of his small stature.
"Here I got you." Izuku said as he poured the hero a new cup of tea.
"Thank you." He said before continuing. "You'll also be able to help All Might during his hero courses, he's new so it's his first time teaching a class. Another thing. You'll be labeled the student liaison for the first years." The mammal relaxed into the couch.
"Student Liaison, helping All Might teach hero course?" he asked as his thoughts started to pile up in his head. Swirls started to appear in his eyes.
"You'll basically be the middle man between the two classes for the teachers. Anything student related you'll be in charge of." The white furred animal said. "But we can forget that for now, we are getting ahead of ourselves. Let's get back on track." He said as he took another sip.
"So, we know how you'll be doing your schooling and how you'll be doing your own workouts. Let's talk about how you're going to training your fighting skills and your quirk." Nezu said "First off, let's talk about quirk training."
"You'll be getting talk by of course All Might, but you will also be taking lessons from Gran Torino over there." The short mammal said to Izuku.
"Gran Torino was the one who taught me how to fight with One for All. He was my predecessor best friend and my master." All Might said with a shudder. "I'm not the best at explaining how to work with my quirk since it came so naturally to me, however he's here to help me teach you the way of One for All." All Might finished off.
"Kid, I'm going make sure that the next portion of training is absolute hell." Garn Torino said. The aloof air from before gone and replaced with one of a battle hardened veteran. "I'll wipe your flippy floppy body into shape real quick. Make sure you know how to fight. You'll be learning a little bit of boxing from All Might too, since that's the closest to his fighting style." He finished with a feral grin. Then it all just disappeared from him as he went and took the last taiyaki from the plate and took a bite. Humming the strange toon once again.
"Yes those two will be the ones to teach you everything you need to know about One for All." Nezu exclaimed. "Then during the latter part of the day you will be learning how to fight by ." this caused Izuku eyes' to widen as he looked at the dark haired man.
"Wait so I'm going to learn how to fight from All Might and Aizawa?" he asked with excitement in his voice.
"Yes and no." Nezu answered. "You're going to be learning how to fight by Aizawa, just without your Quirk. The main goal with All Might and Gran Torino is for you to learn how to use your quirk. I would hope that you're able to put the two together to be able to build up for a test I'm going to have you take at the end of our month training sessions." He said with a wicked smile.
"I hope you're going to like that test." The small mammal finished talking and started to cackle softly before becoming even louder. A red gleam appeared in his eyes as he started to shake.
"Nezu, you're shaking, you're spilling all the tea on the couch." Aizawa said as he finished up his cup of tea in one quick sip.
"Oh sorry, the sadistic side comes out when I think of testing humans." the mammal said as he stops shaking, however the predatory look in his eyes didn't diminish at all, becoming even more prevalent.
"Now on to the last thing I would like to talk about before we all head home for the night." Nezu said. "So for now I don't have a permanent Hero you will be apprenticing with, however I know one hero who's free by his own doing." The small animal said with a wicked smile. He slowly turned his head to the dark haired man to his right.
"Right here, Eraserhead, will be your master for the foreseeable future if you-"he was cut off by Izuku before he could finish.
"When, Nezu, when I pass your test." He finished with a determined look in his eyes and an equally wicked smile on his face appeared. It spread from him to each of the heroes here except for Recovery Girl. Who by this point has been sitting there enjoying her tea. A sigh came from her lips.
"Don't kill him to fast because of the challenge boys, I'll have all your heads if he gets too injured." She said with a glare. They all laughed as Nezu said.
"We won't kill him, don't worry, we'll just break him." He said with a smug smile on his lips. Izuku looked over to see his mother looking really pale. He could have sworn he's seen her soul slowly leave her body.
"God, I don't get paid enough for this job." The older woman said as she finished off her tea. A soft chuckle was heard from Nezu's right as the underground hero nodded his head towards the older woman. A tired look took over his face when he did that.
"Well with that I'd like to say this meeting is adjured." Nezu exclaimed as he jumped off the couch. "Now if I may excuse myself, Also Izuku." He turned back from his position by the door.
"I'll send you the schedule for your training tomorrow morning once I've fully figured it out. Tomorrow I also want you to come to the school to do your physical. Recovery Girl can get you your training schedule as soon as possible after that. I'll leave the paperwork for the school here for you two to fill out, make sure to bring it with you tomorrow" He finished and proceeded to just shut the door and walk out leaving the rest of them sitting there. The stack of papers form before having magically appeared on the table.
The all looked at Aizawa since he was the one that drove the principle here. He just huffed as he got up from his chair. He bowed slightly to Inko before he left silently, the man was grumbling as he ran his hand through his hair about being over worked.
All Might laughed as Recovery Girl and Gran Torino both got up and left together. Gran, went and left really quickly while recovery girl just slowly made her way to the door.
"Thank you for the food and tea." Recovery Girl said as she closes the door behind her. Leaving just All Might sitting on the couch alone with the two Midoriyas. The man smiled to the two of them.
"Inko, I'd like to say I'm sorry for making your son for keep-"he didn't finish as Inko held up a hand.
"It's ok All Mi-"she was cut off as well by All Might.
"Call me Yagi, Yagi Tonshinori" he said with a small smile
"Well, , I get why you asked him to keep this whole thing a secret. It's a lot to think about, but I'm glad for the fact you saw in him that he was able to be a hero. I am slightly mad at what you said in the beginning." She said with a small glare on her face.
"Yeah." He said awkwardly as he looked to the side. "I greatly regretted what I said at that time. I wasn't following my own ideals in that moment. I was more thinking of how a hero's job is already especially dangerous even with a quirk, so a boy without a quirk would constantly be in fatal danger." He said.
"As much as I hate to say it, being a quirkless hero would be day by day of fatal fighting. It wouldn't be something many people would want to do." he said with a grim expression. "However if a hero has as much determination as Izuku has here, than anything is possible, considering Aizawa basically always fought quirkless." He said finishing off what he was saying.
"Well as much as I have a bunch of things we must talk about Young Midoriya, we can hold them off for another day, it's already really late so I think it's time for me to make my exit." The No.1 said to them as he slowly walked out of the home.
"Wait, I'll walk you to the door." Inko said as she got up. "Izuku can you clean up for me , just put everything the way it was and wash the dishes, then your good to go to bed." She said as she was at the door with All Might. "I'll handle the paperwork before heading off to bed myself." She said.
"Yes Mom." He said as he got up himself and started to clear the things up.
The loud clang from the kitchen broke him from his reminiscing. Taking a few more deep breaths as he started to cool down from his morning run. He was supposed to run four miles every other day. His body groaned slightly, however the refreshing run was able to help clear his very active mind.
Pulling out his phone from his pocket and pausing his American rock from that blasted through his headphones. He put his phone back into his pocket and he pulled out his head phones before fully entering his home. Slowly walking through the hallway he pulled his sweatshirt over his head, both that and his shirt were drenched in a cold sweat.
He took another breath as he calmed his racing heart. He then caught a whiff of his smell and recoiled.
'I smell like shit.' He thought to himself as he opened the door to the combined kitchen and living room. He smiled slightly as he came to see his mother working on their breakfast.
"Morning Mom." He said with a large smile. She was looking down while she cut some vegetables and looked up at him. A soft smile made it to her face.
"Good morning Izu" he exclaimed happily. "How was your run?" she asked as she looked back to working on breakfast.
"It was good mom, nice and relaxing." He said. Throwing his soaked through sweatshirt into the laundry bin. "I'm going to go take a shower Mom. I'll be quick." As he said exiting the living room and heading to the bathroom.
"Alright Izu, take your time, you just have class today with Nezu so you don't have to rush." She yelled form the kitchen. He smirked slightly.
"Yes mom." He said as he entered the bathroom. Quickly turning on the water, he threw off his dirty shirt and sweatpants as the water started to steam quickly. Grabbing his phone he turns on some random song to listen to. He smiled as he stepped in and the hot water soothed his sore muscles. He winced slightly when he put a little too much pressure on one of his legs.
Even though he'd only have this power for a little over two weeks, All Might, Gran Torino, weren't even giving him a little room to rest, they pushed him to the limit, every time they've trained together. He sighed slightly as he washed his fluffy green hair. After just a few minutes of being in the shower he turned off the water and stepped out and grabbed his towel. Drying himself off, he grabbed his phone and turns off the music.
Once he felt dry enough he wrapped the towel around his waist and made his way to him room. He quickly opened his door and enters his now sparsely decorated room. The room was once basically a shrine to All Might, now a room with just a few hero posters anda few All Might figurines. The bed sheets changed to a color of his walls. He remembered his first training session with the old koot named Gran Torino and All Might, it's an experience he'll probably never forget.
"Kid, you're holding yourself back." The old man said as he looked at Izuku. The young boy was currently on the ground after being attacked by the older man. They were doing combat training to get him used to using his power while fighting, they were in a large gym that was owned by All Might himself. However, Izuku was having trouble trying to figure out how to use the power. Gran Torino had noticed that he's been holding himself back.
"What do you mean?" Izuku asked as he started to get up. Wincing slightly as he felt a soft pain in his right side where he just had gotten hit.
"I mean son," he started. "That you putting All Might on such a pedestal is holding you back. You're trying to imitate him. You won't be able to continue like this. It'll only hold you back if you still imitate him." He finished while looking at him.
"Huh" was all the boy said before the old man launched himself upwards to the ceiling. The old man rolling midair and landing feet first on the ceiling. Then another burst of air comes out of his boots as he flew past the disoriented Izuku. Despite fighting like this for the past few hours. He still hasn't been able to pick up a single thing from him. When he's thought he's gotten an attack pattern for the old man, or a tell to go off of, he changes it and just uses the supposed tell against him.
Izuku could also tell that we was getting slower, since he's only able to use One for All at Zero or One Hundred percent, he didn't dare risk activating it at all. Gran Tornio, started to become a blur as he bounced around the room, coming at him from different angles. Just clipping him here and there.
Every time he was hit he staggered and tried to hit back but was unable to. He was really tempted to just go all out at this point however, he didn't want to break his arm, or worse the training arena.
"You are weak." The old man said as he clipped his side. "Slow." Hit him in the right shoulder. "Clumsy." His right side was hit and he slammed into the wall. "You can't even use this power properly." The old man stopped in front of him with a skid. The whole world stopped for a moment and he watched as the old man hesitate for half a second. Before frowning at him as bringing his fist up into his chin.
Izuku's head jerked back and his whole body lifted off the ground slightly. As he fell backwards on to the hard ground of the gym they were training in. A groan left the young man's mouth as he laid there on the ground. He was there for a moment as pain shot through his body.
"Kid, you have to stop thinking like your All Might." Gran Torino stated with a frown on his face. "You're not All Might Kid. Heroing doesn't come naturally to everybody. You're not going to be like All Might. You never will." The old man declared.
"Well it looks like a good time for a break. I'm going to head out to go get us some food. Hopefully by then Toshinori will be here to train with you." The old man said to his downed student. All he heard was a groan as a confirmation before he walked out of the gym. A frown marred his weathered cheeks.
'Come on kid," he thought, "show me why All Might picked you as his successor.' He walked away from the building to the closest convenience store.
Laying there on the floor the young boy was groaning heavily from the abuse he was getting from the older pro. He slowly leaned up on his forearms with many winces. The young apprentice took a few deep breaths from that position. He started to grumble to himself.
"Jesus, you don't have to be so blunt about everything." He said under his breath. He starts to lean up some more before taking a sharp intake of breath. Feeling as if's been shot in the stomach he leans back down. "I'll just rest for a few more moments."
Just lying there his mind starts to wonder. Self-doubt slowly starts to creep out from the corners of his mind into the forefront.
'Am I really cut out for this?' he asked himself. 'I'm not like Bakugo. I'm not a fighting prodigy, nor am I any good with my quirk. I'm nothing like All Might, like he has the power… to… des-' his thought was never finished as another took its place. The doubt cleared almost immediately.
"I'm a fucking Idiot!" he yelled as the pain was forgotten. He quickly stands up, his body protesting, however forcing through it to try what he wants to. Words started to spill out of his mouth at an unprecedented pace.
"So All Might as the strength to change the weather. That would mean that if he were to walk around at 100 percent at all times then he would probably destroy everything. The amount of property damage would be insane." Izuku mumbled to himself. "That would mean he is constantly regulating the power output to make sure he doesn't damage anything that's around him. But what would be his average operating percentage? What would mine be?" he mumbled on and on about everything he could think about.
"The only way to find out is to try, starting at one percent." He told to himself. Slowly closing his eyes and taking a few deep breath. The young hero started to push his power all through his body. He started it at one percent.
From the outside perspective lightning started to shoot off his body sporadically. Red glowing veins appeared on his body all over. Slowly starting to raise the power past one to two, then three and so on. Until it started to hurt at five percent. It was manageable but it still hurt.
"Alright, I can run for a while at five percent, now let's see what my upper limit is." He said to no one in particular. He started to push the percentage past that. Getting to just about ten percent before it started to feel unbearable.
His body protested against him as he tried to see how long he could stay at that percentage. He didn't even last a full minute before he felt something pop and he groaned in pain and fell to the ground. His eyes flashing open as he was now pushed down on the ground. His whole body screaming ta him for pushing it so far. He didn't know where the sound came from so he slowly tested everything and made sure it all worked.
Finally getting to his right shoulder he felt that it's been pushed out of its socket. He sighed as he rolled onto is left shoulder. Bringing his right hand up to his shoulder. He takes a deep breath and holds it before popping the dislocated shoulder back into place. Letting out a cry of muffled pain as a loud pop echoed in the empty training room.
"Fuck that hurts." Izuku mumbled to himself as he rotates his harm slowly to make sure it's all good.
'Damn, I've really been swearing a lot recently' he thought to himself randomly. He slowly rolled onto his back then he propped himself up into a sitting position and slowly getting up.
'Anyway, I got a start. Now I just need to master this.' he finished the thought and started to practice holding a steady five percent of his power. Slowly moving around and getting used to how much faster he is now. It was almost another forty minutes later before Gran Torino walked back into the building.
By this time Izuku was breathing heavily as he was trying to keep the power at an even level while jumping up the wall. The young man was currently unable to hold it and fell down to the floor from about forty feet up.
Gran Torino looked at him with a wide smirk.
"I see you've made some progress. Now let's see how well you doing." He said as he dropped the take out bag and pushed forward. Izuku stood there for a moment. Not registering the man flying at him. It wasn't until the old man stopped in front of him and went for a leg sweep that he reacted.
He jumped back as far as he could in the moment just out of reach of the short man. He tried to activate the portion of his power that he was working with. The silver haired man blasted past him and pushed him off balance. The power dissipating from him. He got his footing again before he tried to activate his power again. Green Lightning started to appear and the veins growing on his body.
A hit to the back made all those disappear. He staggered forward. Trying to activate the power again. This time he felt it get to a controllable point before he was knocked in the back of the knee. His knees buckled at the hit. The power vanishes once again.
'I have to get faster' the young man screamed in his head as he started to activate the power again but was hit in the chest by the old man bouncing around in the room. The man came to a halt in front of the panting boy.
"Alright kid, it looks like your finally making some progress. I think it's time you take a break." The old coot said. "We'll eat and rest until All Might get here. Then you'll be doing some more quirk training." He finished as he started to walk over where he had left the boxes of food.
The younger Midoriya followed the grizzled veteran as he picked up the back and brought them to a table that was set up in the corner. The old man had placed the food onto it and they started to chow down. His body was protesting greatly the entire time he was eating. The pain from being beaten black and blue by the man in front of him evident.
"Gran, what was All Might like when he was younger." He asked awkwardly, trying to break the silent tension in the air between the two of them. Gran Torino stopped eating to quirk an eyebrow at him.
"Where is this question coming from?" he asked
"Just wondering" The young hero answered. He shrugged as he took a bite of his food. A tired sigh came from the man.
"He was young and idiotic, just like you." He said as he pointed at the young man. "However, He had seen the worse of the villains, and knew what was coming. He was determined and dedicated to his training and getting stronger. He had someone who he want.-"the man paused for a moment before correcting and continuing. "Needed to defeat." He finished.
"And who was this Villain?" he asked. The old man stopped where he was and looked him dead in the eye.
"You'll have to ask him yourself." He said. Motioning his head behind him. There walking into the training grounds was the skeleton form of All Might. The man was wearing a simple shirt and cargo khakis. He slowly made his way over to the table where they were sitting.
"So, Young Midoriya, Have you made any progress?" the broken pro asked from where he was standing. He looked around and pulled the chair form another table nearby.
"mmmummmm." He responded with a mouthful of food. Closing the container he pushes it to the side and takes a sip of the drink he was given. "Yes I was able to make a bit of progress." He answered
"Oh?" he questioned the young man as he sat there. "Why don't you show me then?" He asked. Gesturing to the grounds next to them.
"I will in a minute All Might, I'm still catching my breath from the training I've been doing for the last few hours." He said. "Just let me rest for a little bit." He said finishing up the rest of his drink and leaning back in his chair. Taking a few deep breaths and closing his eyes and enjoying his short break.
The Skeleton of a man smirked and softly chucked as he watched the young hero enjoy his short break. The man leaned back in his chair as he waited. After just a few more minutes. Izuku stood up.
"Alright let's do this." he said with a determined face. The No.1 hero smirked as he stood up.
"Okay, show what you got." He told Izuku. Almost immediately Izuku started to spark with the green lightning. The boy opened his eyes as he let out a deep breath. The boy looked at him with a smirk on his lips.
A giant smile comes across All Might face as he starts to buff up.
"Well, Well, Well Young Midoriya! Look at the power you hold." The smirk on the pros face just widens. "Now let's see how well you do with that power!" he says as he take a heavy step forward towards the boy. A smirk of his own makes it way to the young boys face. Bringing up a very beginner guard he looks directly into the No.1 hero's electric blue eyes.
"Gladly" as All Might disappears form his point of View.
After that training he had gone back to his own room and cleared it of a decent chunk of his All Might merch. A lot of what the old coot had said had gotten to him so he made his room less fan boy than it used to be.
The surprised look on his mom's face when she saw him taking out all of the merchandise. That was one that he won't forget for a long while. It had taken him almost three hours to move all of his All Might stuff into boxes and store it. He wasn't getting rid of it, must making his room less of a shrine to the man.
'Next Stop, Mutusfu Station." The conductor voice lulled him from his thoughts over his music as the train started to pick of speed from where it had stopped. The young boy looked down at his phone to see what song was playing as he rode the train. Having gotten on one of the later trains due to not doing any training today. He just had his scheduled workout for the day and his classes with Nezu.
There is a soft bob to his head as he listens to his music. His eyes scanning the cart and Windows looking for anything interesting. He caught sight of the UA School building in the distance. The large building standing out compared to the greenery around it. The tall building standing on top of a hill in the middle of the Mutusfu city.
The train passed by a building blocking his view and pulling him out of his observation of the building. His eyes then proceeding to wonder across all of the UA students that were dressed in their Uniforms.
His eyes scanning them all to see if he knew anyone, his eyes then stopped at a group of five students. Each one of them completely different from each other. The group was built of three girls and two boys. Two of the girls were sitting and the rest of them standing around them.
The first one was a tall man with blonde hair styled almost like a pompadour, mullet mix. His eyes were rather simple being just two blue dots on his pale skinned face, however a large smirk was present on his face. He was wearing the UA winter uniform without the jacket. The white shirt with small green shoulder pauldrons and a red tie. He wore black slacks either a pair of sneakers to finish off the outfit. The man looked to animatedly talking to the other four about something.
Standing next to him was another boy in another with wild dark blue hair. The framed his face with two long bangs that went down to his chin and the rest of his hair swept back. His ears were slightly pointed compared to the rest of them. His eyes were normal compared to the other boy, however he had the perpetual nervous look on his face. Constantly looking down and away from anyone but the group of people around him. His uniform for the most part was the same, except for the unbuttoned top button of his shirt and loosened tie.
Standing next to the two boys was a beautiful mocha skinned girl. Her hair was a snow white that contrasted her skin well. Piercing ruby red eyes with rather long eyelashes looked around the group with a wide smirk on her face. Coming from where her ears should be were a pair of tall white bunny ears. She was wearing the girl's winter uniform for UA. She was quite a bit shorter than the two boys. The white shirt and red tie was covered by the grey blazer that covered them, that accented her bust a little too well. A dark green skirt replaced the pants from the male uniform. Letting his eyes wonder he couldn't help but notice the girl's rather thick legs. They made the young man blush as the turned his head away for a moment with a blush, even though no one caught him looking.
His eyes drifted from the three standing up to the two girls that were sitting down on the seat of the train.
The one at was sitting there animatedly talking with the blonde haired boy was a beautiful long light blue haired girl. Hair splitting at the end and coming around her legs almost. Her pale blue eyes, a very similar color to her hair, were looking directly in the eyes of the group as she talked. Whenever she stopped, she had a smile that never seemed to go away. She was wearing the same winter uniform as the other girl next to her. She was wearing almost knee high socks with her brown boat shoes. The blazer seeming to pushed to its limits against her bust. It seeming like it's about to pop a button every time she moved.
Sitting next to her playing around on her phone throwing a comment in here or there was a beautiful brunette girl. She had a small smile on her face with her pouty lips, they were covered with a glossy lip gloss, as her large dark brown eyes looked over at whatever she was looking at on her phone. She was wearing a similar uniform to the two other girls, however she had left her blazer open and left the top two buttons undone on her blazer. She had her legs crossed on the as she sat with her and she's wearing similar foot wear as the girl sitting next to her. While the other two first had one or the other she had the perfect amount of both.
Each one of the girls in that group were the literal definition of perfect for the young man. He could not have thought of any other girls in the entire world that could be defined at goddesses. A blush appeared on his face as he thought about that.
'Are all the girls a UA goddesses?' he asked himself as he had to turn away from the group. Then something clicked in his head as he whipped it back around to look at the group.
'Wait one moment.' He thought. He started to look closer at the group then he could have sworn he had heard a ding when everything clocked in his head. 'That's the Big Four!' his eyes widened as he looked at the group. Looking back over the group he said each of their names.
'Rumi Usagiyama' he eyes landed on the beautiful bunny girl. 'Nejire Hado' glancing at the blue haired girl seeming to ask a question the Rumi. 'Mirio Togata' The blonde man with the pompadour laughed as he slapped the back of the other male in the group. 'And finally Tamaki Amajiki." He finished as he looked over to the nervous looking boy.
He looked at the fifth girl, he didn't know who she was, however he knew they probably had friends outside of their class. He then heard the conductor of the train come over the overcome.
"Mutufsu station." He got up from his seat and made his way to one of the door as the train started to come to a stop. He watched form the corner of his eyes as the group of UA students he was watching all moved to another door. They opened and he walked out and slowly made his way off the station to the sidewalks.
Slowly walking out of the station towards the large UA Building in the distance. The strum of a guitar and keyboard fill his ears as he remembered the first time he had been here after he had gotten his examination. He brought his hand up to his nose as he remembered his first lesson with Mr. Aizawa, he winced softly.
"Have you ever been punched?" asked Aizawa.
'That's a way to start a conversation with someone.' Izuku thought as he looked at the less tired man. He seemed to be more in his elements as it was much later in the day, bordering almost nine PM.
"Uh…. Yeah but mostly body shots." He said to the pro hero.
"Okay, so I guess I'll just get this over with." He said with a tired sigh as he took a step forward.
"Wha…" he never finished as the fist of Aizawa landed dead smack on his nose. The young man gasped in pain as he staggered back as tears started to fill his eyes. He looked at the larger man with his blurry vision.
"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" he asked as he wiped his nose of blood that started to pour out of it. Trying to blink the tears away he felt the soft thrum of pain as it slowly faded away from his senses.
"Good Question." The man said. "Two things. It was to get you used to having your guard up. Next, it was also to show you that getting punched isn't as bad as it seems. This was the most logical way to show you that." He said as if it was just a matter of fact with his bloodshot eyes.
"You could have at least warned me!" he said as he blew out the last of the blood from his nose.
"But then that would make the first reason completely mute then, it wouldn't have been logical." He said to Izuku as he gestured to him. "And where's the fun with that." He said as he burst forward at Izuku.
"Training starts now, I want to see your best." The man was right in front of him as he went for a punch. "Today you'll be sparring against me to see where you are." Izuku had just barely dodged the punch. From his perspective he could tell this punch was much slower than the one he was hit in the face.
A leg came up and swiped for his head. He however was able to jump back and look at the pro hero.
'Oh no' he thought as the pro came at him with another kick.
The young man chuckled to himself as he made his way up to the gates of the school. Standing at the side of the gate was the ever tired and scarf wrapped Eraserhead. He could hear a few whispers behind him as some of the students were looking on at him weirdly.
There was a bunch of murmurs from behind him as he walked right up and through the gate like it was nothing. The only other people who were going through were the student and the occasional teacher. Despite that he just continued walking. The pro that had been leaning on the side of the entrance walked up to him and nodded as he broke off from the main pathway.
Izuku nodded to the man as he followed. He was still new to the campus so he didn't know where anything was. The loud music droned out everyone around him. He followed behind the pro as he bobbed his head to the music. He could feel the effects of the pre-workout he took start taking affect. His body starting to prep itself for his workout.
Due to him being distracted by his music and the feeling of his pre-workout. He didn't feel the distinct stares from 5 sets of eyes.
Nemuri Kayama yawned as she made her way through the halls of UA. She had been up late last night to finish grading some papers that her students had given her. Then she had to get to work an hour early for some morning faculty meetings. She then had the first three blocks for classes and had to work through it all with just a single cup of coffee.
It didn't help that one of the hero course students had gone a little too hard during training and destroyed the building they were training in. that mess took almost another two hours to clean up. To put it simply, she was dead tired.
Now she has to go talk with the Principle about this plan he has for the next year. She brought her hand up to face palm as she walked into the teachers' lounge to get some coffee before going to deal with Nezu and whatever crazy plan he has hatched up them.
She walked up to her seat in the teachers' lounge/office and sat down. She leaned back in the chair as she let out a deep breath and brought her arm up to cover her eyes. After a few minutes of sitting there she takes her arm off and looks at the clock on the wall.
03:30
Classes had finished for the day, and they were finishing the day with the homeroom before students were allowed to leave for the day. She slowly got up after she had taken a sip from her coffee mug. She looked over at the mirror and smiled softly.
'Oh how the years have passed.' She thought to herself as she looked at her costume. Staring back at her was a twenty six year old beauty. She stood at a tall five nine, without her heels, and a voluptuous body.
The top of her head was adorned with waist length dark purple mane that spiked in a downward direction as he fell down her back. Her pale skin dotted with a small bit of makeup just to make her sky blue eyes pop out on her face. The red eyes mask that outlines her eyes makes them pop even more. A small beauty mark graces her face right below her left eye.
Letting her hands guide themselves across her curvaceous body, she takes in her hero costume that's changed over the years from its non-existence all those years ago. It was very similar to a dominatrix's outfit. With a breast less black leotard, similar to a corset, over her ultra-thin white body suit.
The center strip of her leotard was embellished with red gemstone like material vertically and around her collar. She wore a pair of dark purple translucent gartered thigh high stockings. They were attached to a red utility belt with gold highlights. She was wearing black knee high heeled boots that added about three inches to her height.
On her wrists were each side of handcuffs that she left dangle there. Her nails were painted a deep red. Her signature weapon was attached at her hip, a flogger whip. A bright smile came to her face as she struck her signature pose.
'Damn, still got it.' She thought to herself as she proceeded to walk her way out of the teachers' lounge/offices. She slowly made her way through the halls of the school, she smiles and waves to students. Most of the boys and some of the girls blushed as they see her and quickly turning their head.
Finally after just a few short minute she's made her way to the door of the UA principle. Taking a deep breath she brought her hand up to knock. However right as she's about to have her hand connect with the door a voice cut through the door.
"Midnight, you may come in." the soft but squeaky voice of Nezu is heard from past the door. She lets out a deep breath as she pushes the door open and comes into the office of her boss.
The office itself was a simple one. Just a desk with his large chair at the end where he is sitting. In front of his desk stood two couches facing other with a table in the middle. Sitting in one of the couches was a tall grey blocky looking man. In a deep maroon with gold accent body suit covers all but his arms and hands.
Big grey boots with yellow pads at the bottom were up against the floor as the large man took a sip from the dainty tea cup.
This was the school modern literature teacher and a pro hero, Cementoss.
Other than that, most of the wall were barren from anything. Just a few bookshelves were pushed up against them and were filled to the brim with books. There were ones in every language she could think of and some that she didn't know about.
Her eyes met the small rodent's that sat behind the desk. She watched as he jumped down and walked around the desk.
"Midnight, you can take a seat. We have a lot to discuss in the short time we have." Nezu dropped a folder on the table between the two of them. What followed was a thorough thirty minute conversation about some changes that the principal wanted to make over summer break for the new first year's coming in.
Nemuri sighed to herself as she sat back into the couch. From what she got from this conversation was that she's going to be living with forty hormonal student next school year. She could already feel the migraine coming on. However there was one thing that caught her attention.
Each floor would have an RA, which she thank god she had some help. However that wasn't what caught her attention. There would be another person who would be mediate between them.
She was unfortunately unable to ask anything about it during the conversation because they had so much they had to go over in such short time. For something like this you would think that this was something that would be given a good chunk of time, but it would seem the principal had other plans for the day.
"If that is all, I would like to call this meeting adjourned." The small bear, mouse, dog like animal said as he hopped off his small chair he had brought to the coffee table.
"Alright, Its time for me to head out now." The large cement made man said as he finished his last sip of tea and stood up. "Sir, I thank you for the tea, and I'll get to work on acquiring the necessary materials for that dorms." He finished with a swift nod of his head and he was off. Through the door and out of the room in seconds.
There she was left with the rodent that she called her boss. She smiled softly as she stood up.
"Sir, I was actually wondering something." She said with a question in mind.
"And what would that be Midnight?" he asked as he brought himself up to his chair.
"When we were going over the report you had mentioned that there would be an RA for each floor." She said as she watched the small mammal reach over into one of his drawers and pull out a few sheaf of papers.
'Are those test answers?' she had a passing thought before continuing. "Well you said there would be an RA for the building that would live on the first floor with me. Something about an outside look on everything?" she asked as she pointed to the specific section in the documents she was handed.
"Oh?" was the only response she got from the fur ball in front of her. A tick mark appeared on her temple. She did not like being ignored. She watched as Nezu just continued to pull stuff out of his desk. All different types of material she's never seen. To her surprise she watched as he jumped off his chair and pulled a giant whiteboard from literally nowhere.
"Sir, did you hear what I said?" she said with irritation clear in her voice. The Bear like animal in front of her stopped for a moment and looked at her.
"Oh, yes I did. Your answer will be here in a few minutes, hopefully." Was all he said as he pulled out two blue notebooks labeled 'HERO ANAYASIS FOR THE FUTURE NO.20' and '21'.
She rose her eyebrow at him as she crossed her arms under her impressive bust. She waited for more of an explanation but was met with the shuffling of papers. She huffed before taking a seat back where she was on the couch. Running a manicured hand through her fluffy hair she leaned back into the couch.
It wasn't even a minute later there was three short knocks on the door. She heard a soft curse from the small rodent and a soft muttered 'I'm off my game' before a voice spoke from the other side of the door.
"Mr. Nezu, I'm here for my lesson." The young sounding voice from the other side of the door.
"Izuku, you can come in." the small rodent like thing said as he got into his seat. The Pro Hero looked at the door as it opened and a short young boy stepped in. earbud still in his ears as he entered. The moment she saw him, there was only one word that she could put to him, plain.
Standing there was a rather short boy for his age, maybe about five five, pushing five six. A mop of fluffy black hair with green highlights on the tip of his head. A set of piercing green eyes, with freckles in a diamond just below. A soft smile on his lips as he scratches his fair skinned cheeks. A prominent scar ran across the back of his hand. He was wearing a deep maroon shirt that was just a little too tight for his form. A pair of black basketball shorts adorned his legs along with red shoes.
Midnight, despite being in the top five most wanted heroines in every magazine polls, and all the success she had with men over the years. She couldn't help but blush at the young man who was standing in the doorway pulling out his earphones. She could hear the loud bass of the song from his earbuds as he turns off the music from his phone.
It was then his eyes met hers and everything around her just vanished. As she was staring into the twin pools of green that seemed to have no end she found something deep inside them. It was then she saw in the twin pools of green she saw an outline of a large green dragon. It turned its head and looked at her before roaring and everything rushed back into her senses.
She shuddered as she let out the breath she didn't know she was holding. She blinked a few times and shook her head. The blush on her face grew as she watched the young man in front of her blush and start to gush.
"OH MY GOD! You're the pro heroine, Midnight!" he exclaimed as he went wide eyed. He practically disappeared from where he was standing and appeared in front of her with a notebook in hand. He was bent at a perfect 90 degree at his hip with the notebook extended.
"CAN I PLEASE GET YOUR AUTOGRAPH?!" he all but yelled. The blush on her face was gone and was now replaced with a raised eyebrow as she stared at the page in front of her. She looked down at the page and saw a beautiful drawing of her, she couldn't believe the details. Underneath the drawing was a box with the label of 'signature'. However her eyes continued to read over the page. Letting the silence permeate for a bit as she read.
What she found was every little thing she could think about herself, from quirk to fights. There was also speculations and theories on the second page. Her eyes widened as she read one of the ideas for a support item.
"A storage device with capsules that are filled with gas." She softly mumbled. With the silence broken she slowly took out a pen from her breast pocket on her corset. She grabs the book softly and signs her name underneath her picture and puts the pen away. The boy in front of her pulled back the book and looked at it with stars in her eyes.
"Thank you so much, Midnight, I will treasure this forever!" he said with a wide smile before flipping over half the book and coming to an empty page and writing down a few things. "Now I have a few questions-"however before he could even get a single question out of his mouth a noise from the desk to her right caught both of their attentions.
"As much as I would like for you to go on your tangent Midoriya, we have a lesson to start." The small white furred mammal said. When she looked over she shuddered as she noticed a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Yes, Mr. Nezu." The now named Midoriya said as he went to sit down at the other couch and pull out some different materials. Proceeded to forget about the pro in the room.
"Oh, and Midnight." He said as she sat there.
"Yes?" she asked from where she was sitting.
"This is the person you will be working with next year in the dorms." The Mind behind UA said with a slight crazed smile as the beautiful pro eyes widened. "This is Izuku Midoriya, a hero apprentice." He finished as he gestured to the now blushing boy. With a hand behind his head as he scratches it. He awkwardly reaches out his other hand to her.
"Pleasure to be working with you Midnight." The young hero apprentice said as he smiled at her. She looked at the young man and then his hand before reaching out and gripping it. They shook and she got up from her seat after she let go.
"Pleasure's all mine." She said with a soft smile on her lips. "I just have one question. What is a hero apprentice?" she asked as she looked over at the small rodent like man.
"Well, a hero apprentice is a hero in training who doesn't go to school, but goes and trains out in the field underneath heroes till they are deemed worthy to acquire a hero license." He finished his short explanation. "Is that all your questions?" he asked
"For now." she said as she put a hand on her hip. She winked at the young man, causing his already red face to flush even more. "Well I should be on my way now though." She said as she started to make her abrupt strut out of the office.
She was through the door in an instance. She stopped on the other side for just a moment to let her hands come to her face. Steam seemed to come from her face from behind her hands. She then started walking down the hall trying to compose herself.
'Izuku Midoriya, huh." She thought as a small smile came to her face and her mind wondered to what she saw when she first saw him.
Alright, that's a wrap for this chapter. I hope you liked it. I have no idea when I'll be able to get the next chapter out. I've been super busy at work unfortunately. I've also had multiple ideas bouncing around in my head that I really just want to write at least something for but I need to focus on this one for now. so I plan on finishing this arc then taking a break. I will be writing the new chapters for the Jaune Arc's Ever Changing Stories one here an there due to them being so short and quick to put out. we will see though anyway,
I hope you all have a good day/night. please review and Fav/Follow. Talk to you next time.
