Gamelover41592: Thanks

IllusionSign (Guest): It really is. As are both of his other moves if you know what you are doing. He also happens to be my favorite Skylander

Matt (Guest): 1. They totally would. 2. I only watch Owl House.

Tech-Star: Hey, Sky is going to be the future leader of the Skylanders and in spite of what Eon is claiming, they all can tell Aurora has Skylander potential. What Kaos will do is a spoiler, so I can't really say anything. And yeah, the cores really could just show up whenever they want.

TheOfficialLieDetector: Of course he will!

Guest: Nostalgia is good

Now then, I think it's time for a bit of a timeskip. Sky is about five.

Sky rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet. She was so excited! A brand new class was coming into the academy!

"Excited kiddo?" Ghost Roaster asked as he floated over to the young portal master.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Sky asked. "This is so cool! Dad wouldn't let me come last year, even though Aurora got to come."

"I think he was just worried you wouldn't be able to sit through it," Ghost Roaster assured the younger girl. Normally, he hated being this nice, but Sky was doing things to him. But he didn't care. It was nice being the favorite for once.

"Ghost Roaster!" Jet-Vac called out. "The opening ceremony starts in five minutes! Where's Sky!?"

"We're coming!" Ghost Roaster called back as he scooped the girl into the air. "Wouldn't want to be late, right?"

"Nope!" Sky giggled as Ghost Roaster headed towards the arena.

"See anyone cool?" Aurora whispered to her sister as they looked over the line up of potential Skylanders.

"They all are!" Sky gushed as she looked into the crowd. In truth, you could become a Skylander at any age, so there were beings of all shapes and sizes standing in the inside of the area. Looking out, Sky could already see what looked like an undead elf riding a bird, a living artichoke, a dragon wearing a diving suit, a strange turtle looking thing and so many more!

Then she noticed three hopefuls standing in the front.

The first was some kind of lava creature. From the looks of it, he was somewhat on the larger side and didn't seem to have any hands or fingers. Next to him was another elf who was dressed somewhat like a ninja and holding two daggers. Her mouth was covered by a mask and Sky couldn't tell if she was grinning or trying to stay serious. The final member was a purple dragon. Sky's eyes went wide at that. Purple dragons were rare. So to see one in real life….

The hydra was going to be jealous.

"Attention y'all!" The technically official headmaster of Skylander Academy, Mags, spoke up. Everyone turned to where she, Eon and Eon's assistant, Hugo, were standing. The current Skylanders eyed them with respect while the hopefuls had stars in their eyes. They were in the presence of Master Eon of all people! "Now, I'm sure y'all are eager ta begin so I'll begin. My name is Mags and I'm the headmaster of Skylander Academy!" Mags let the crowd cheer for a bit before speaking again. "Now, please give it up for Master Eon!" The crowd went wild until Eon held his hands up, cluing them to stop.

"Thank you all for coming and for taking your first step towards becoming Skylanders!" Eon declared, causing more cheering. "Now, as I'm sure many of you know, the Skylanders are considered the peacekeepers of Skylands. We battle evil, right wrongs and maybe save the occasional kitten from a tree. You will be sent far beyond what you know and be challenged in ways you never thought you would be. So I offer this last chance-if you truly believe that you can become a Skylander, remain where you are. If you do not, the gates are open." As if on cue, the gates opened up.

And someone else walked in.

Laughter filled the arena as smoke filled it. The skies began to darken as the biggest thorn in the Skylanders' side, Kaos, entered the arena.

"Kaos! You have no right to come to this arena!" Eon declared. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed several Skylanders readying themselves for battle while a few others began to move Sky and Aurora to safety.

"Well, guess what, old man? I'm EVIL!" Kaos declared proudly. "So your rules mean nothing to ME!" He then began to laugh again as his own forces began to drop into the area.

"Then what are you doing here?" Hex asked as she readied her magic. Ghost Roaster and Gill Grunt had left to protect Sky and Aurora, but just because they were missing two didn't mean that Kaos wasn't getting his butt kicked!

"Well, I thought that I'd just steal your newest class and induct them into my own school! Kaos' school of EVIL!" The villain declared. "So hope you don't mind!"

"Of course we mind!" Eon fired back.

"TOO BAD!" Kaos declared. "Maybe I'll even take your little girls too!"

"Skylanders!" Eon called out. Everyone knew that was the cue to attack.

"Minions! Get them!" Kaos ordered. Several drow elves, zombies and trolls rushed out from behind him. The battle was on!

From their hiding spot, Aurora and Sky watched with bated breath. It's not like Kaos actively won or anything, but it was still intense to see a battle so close to home. Ghost Roaster appeared to be a little antsy, but he remained vigilant along with Gill Grunt. As badly as he wanted to fight, he knew that Sky and Aurora needed protection. Glancing back at the girls, he saw that they were still watching the battle.

"Get'em Fizz!" Aurora cheered as she watched Pop Fizz down one of his potions and began to tear apart one of the trolls.

"Spyro, what are you doing!?" The girls turned to see what was going on and the two older Skylanders joined them at the window. Most of the recruits had huddled together near Eon's pedestal, but one of them-the purple dragon-was getting ready to attack.

"Being a Skylander!" The dragon-Spyro, the four guessed-as he charged one of the enemies. It knocked it down along with knocking it into several other foes.

"I see some real potential in that kid!" Gill Grunt marvaled. "Charged into battle without any fear!"

"He could be a leader some day!" Aurora agreed.

"Maybe," Gill Grunt said as he turned back to the battle. Spyro had clearly inspired the other potential Skylanders, as many of them had also joined the battle. Kaos quickly realized he was running out of minions.

"You haven't seen the last of me!" Kaos declared as he rushed off. The few enemies that were left also fled with them. The Skylanders began to cheer. Eon smiled. This was going to be a good group of Skylanders. He held his arms up, cueing the Skylanders to quiet down.

"In front of me, I see no difference in any of you," He began, causing all the trainees to smile. "You all proved yourselves beyond worthy of bearing the mantle of a Skylander. However, there is one who I noticed took it upon themselves to begin fighting, even while untrained and still new to fighting Kaos. I believe his name was Spyro?"

"Uh, that would be me!" Spyro declared as he walked towards Eon. The man felt so much more intimidating when standing directly in front of him.

"You have the potential of a true Skylander," Eon assured the young dragon. "I can see you as a leader someday."

"Really?!" Spyro excitedly asked.

"Indeed," Eon then turned back towards the crowd. "Welcome to the Skylanders!"

The cheers were deafening.
