Gamelover41592: Like they said, heroes never give up!

IllusionSign (Guest): Glad to know I'm writing Kaos correctly. He's one of my favorite villains of all time so I'm glad to know I got him right.

Tech-Star: I will neither confirm nor deny that Eon dies. And I still needed to have him destroy the core or no story!

Again, sorry for the hiatus. Work has been giving me way more hours than I wanted so I haven't had a lot of free time and in addition, writer's block is still hitting me. Funny how that works, but it's time to get moving. But just to clear something up, I will not be covering every level. Otherwise, this story would be extremely long. Besides, with Sky so young still, it's not like Eon will let her go to all these dangerous places. So I'll be fusing a bunch together while also going over some events that I don't show

"How is your search coming, Hugo?" Eon asked as he led Sky over to the Mabu scholar. Hugo jumped a little at the sudden noise.

"Well, going off what we learned from the Skylanders' visits to the Shattered Isles and if what Cali says is true, then the Drow should have stolen it!" Hugo revealed as he pointed to a location on the map he was studying. Nearby, newcomer Cali could only nod. "I believe they must have taken it to Stormy Stronghold."

"Then we must move quickly!" Eon declared. "The Elemental Air Source is one of the most dangerous of them all. If one fails to harness its power, then it will cause untold devastation!"

"Is that what tornado tore apart those islands?" Sky asked. Eon could only nod. While the Skylanders' arrival meant there was no loss of life, it showed everyone the danger that the untamed Elemental Sources could cause in such a short time. "Then we need to get moving!"

"Yeah, about that…" Flynn began as he walked over, rubbing his head. "I might be the greatest and most handsome pilot in all Skylands, but that stronghold is impenetrable! Besides, I'd need to fly way higher than I think this balloon can do to even get there!"

"Great…" Cali trailed off, facepalming all the while.

"So why can't we just go get an airship or something?" Spyro chimed in.

"You got any idea how much a decent ship goes for these days!?" Ghost Roaster exclaimed. "Let me tell ya, a lot! Not even all the treasure hidden in the Realm of the Undead could buy some of those!"

"Building one would also take too long," Hex noted, prompting several other Skylanders to nod.

"But doesn't Flynn have a ship?" Stealth Elf asked. As if on cue, everyone turned their heads to Flynn.

"Yeah, about that, it kinda…got stolen, so I'm stuck with the balloon." Flynn admitted, causing everyone (Sky included) to give him unimpressed looks. "But don't you worry! 'Cause ol' Flynn has an idea! See, if you could just find me a stronger propeller, I should be able to make it no problem!"

"Then I think I have just the solution!" Hugo declared as he pulled out one of his books. "If we can steal a golden propeller, then even Flynn's balloon should be able to get through the winds of the Eternal Air Source without any problems!"

"But where would we get one of those?" Sky asked, excitement creeping into her voice. They could finally start kicking Kaos' butt!

"Sky Schooner Docks," Cali piped up. "All kinds of Drow ships come there. At least one should have the propeller we need!"

"Excellent!" Eon declared. He then summoned a portal. "Skylanders, let's travel to Sky Schooner Docks!" With a cheer, several Skylanders entered the portal. Eon then turned to Sky. "Shall we go?"

"You mean…I actually get to go?!" Sky had stars in her eyes, causing Eon to smile.

"I believe that the Skylanders should be able to protect us from harm and even if not, I think our spell work should be manageable." Eon assured his daughter. Sky wrapped her arms around Eon and quickly began dragging him inside the portal.

Sure enough, Eon was right about the danger. Any Drow or Chompy that tried to attack the two Portal Masters were swiftly dealt with by just about any Skylander than happened to be nearby. And if any happened to get through the cracks, one of Eon's spells or Sky's summoned hydra would easily handle it.

"You know, you can't call on your hydra for everything," Eon noted with a bemused tone.

"But it's fun!" Sky protested. "And using magic makes me tired."

"I know," Eon knelt down to his daughter's level. Magic was known to make users tired on their first attempts, especially with harder to master spells. "But if you don't keep practicing, you won't ever stop being tired even when you get older."

"Okay, I'll try," Sky offered. Nearby, something crashed and exploded, causing the two Portal Masters to notice that a path had been created forwards.

"Told you that would work," Spyro smugly said to Jet-Vac, who huffed a little as the dragon hopped out of the cannon. Before anyone could comment, a fairy flew past them.

"Was that a fairy?" Sky eagerly asked.

"It looks like it!" Gill Grunt marvaled.

"But what's a fairy doing here?" Eon had to ask.

"Should we go find her?" Sky asked.

"Let's make that a secondary goal," Eon replied. The Skylanders all nodded as they continued ahead, with Eon and Sky trailing behind.

"Daddy, why are fairies so rare?" Sky asked as she followed Eon.

"Because they can grant the Skylanders powerful upgrades," Eon explained. "But many evil doers don't like that. So they try to hunt the fairies down. This is why they are so rare."

"Why are people evil?" Sky asked. Eon sighed. He was dreading the day Sky asked this question. But trying to hide this from her would only hurt her in the long run. Besides, it might make her more caring.

"There are many reasons. Some start out as heroes, but due to reasons, such as losing someone close to them, or losing their ways, slip into evil. Others simply see their methods as right, even if they are harming those around them. And some…" Eon trailed off. "Some people just want to hurt others, even if they don't have a reason. But that is what makes the Skylanders so special."

"Because we chose to do good things instead of bad things?" Sky clarified with a smile.

Eon smiled back. "Indeed." Sky smiled and ran ahead a little. She was a good kid. And Eon could tell she would make a great leader.

"Hello extremely!" Upon catching up to the Skylanders, Eon and Sky noticed that they were talking to the fairy they had seen before. "So much fun to see a Skylander again! We fairies always dance with Skyalnders! I am Persephone." She then looked around in fear. "Oh dear! At it again, silly Drow! I'd best go back to the Core of Light. I will meet you there later for dancing. Happy luck, great Skylander!" With that, Persephone flew off.

"Well, it would appear that we have a fairy now," Eon noted with amusement. The Skylanders were all getting excited. They had a lot of gold to give to her to make themselves stronger.

"...Why does the fairy give dancing lessons?" Sky asked. Eon chuckled.

"No, Sky. That is merely just how fairies talk about their magic upgrades," He explained.

"Oh…could she upgrade me?" Sky asked. Everyone had a laugh at that.

"Keep shooting!" Spyro called out. This time, Sky had wanted to shoot down the ships. Spyro had gone into the turret with her just to make sure she was okay, but it turns out that girl was a natural. Even with all the extra Drow ships, Sky wasn't slowing down. Soon, she blasted enough holes in the main ship that it was forced to crash on the docks. This left the propeller ripe for the taking.

"We got it!" Ghost Roaster happily called out as he, Slam Bam and Chop Chop lifted it up, prompting everyone to start cheering. Flynn then landed nearby.

"Impressive. Almost as impressive as me. Boom!" The pilot boasted, prompting several eye rolls. "Now we can fly even higher! C'mon! Let's get back so I can get to work. We'll slap this baby on, fly on up to that impenetrable stronghold, pick up the Eternal Air thingy - and then be back in time for my date with Cali. If she doesn't faint from anticipation first." This prompted even more eye rolls.

Ah, Flynn. Never stop being funny. Anyways, next time, we get the first Eternal Source! See you then!
